Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Pozitia casutei este spectaculoasa. Peisaje minunate se vad de pe terasa sau chiar de pe geamul camerei. Camera a fost functionala si placuta. Persoana care ne-a intampinat a fost amabila si am comunicat in lb.engleza.
Greu de gasit aproape de cazare un loc pentru micul dejun la prima ora, toate deschid la ora 10.00. E tarziu, daca doresti sa pleci pe un traseu in conditii de caldura.

Reviewed May 30, 2026We had a wonderful stay at this house in Mikro Papingo, Greece. The owner was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The house is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the parking area, restaurants, and coffee shops. It was the perfect base for exploring the region. From here, we completed the hike to Dragon Lake and enjoyed several other beautiful attractions and activities in the surrounding area. The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Mikro Papingo and looking for a convenient and pleasant place to stay.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026The host, who is also the owner, was extremely responsible and friendly. The house itself is amazing: traditional architecture that got Zagori its UNESCO World Heritage Site badge, spacious, right on the doorstep of Micro Papigo village.
Small point: I am tall (185 cm), and I have to slightly duck so I don't hit my head on top of the doors. Also the Wifi was not super fast.

The house is very cozy, spacious and well decorated! Finally I loved the view from the bedroom. It’s a hint!!! You have to book to find out!!!

המתקנים מעט מיושנים (ברזים באמבטיה), חלק מהנורות בדירה לא תקינות. אבל אלה דברים זניחים לחלוטין.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2024Cosy rooms in the entrance to Micro papingo, 3 minutes from the rock pools. The host was very nice and responsive and helped with anything we needed.
The place is more suited for young travelers, for us personally the beds were really uncomfortable amd was very hard to sleep. The shower in one room is a bit crowded almost on the toilet but at least the water pressure was good. As a general recommendation we would recommend staying at Aristi as Papingo and especially Micro Papingo is very high and not an easy drive, so best to stay at a more central location like Aristi and only drive once to Papingo in order to visit the Rock Pools and take a tour in the village. This is of course not a comment about the guesthouse which was generally ok.

There is no many options for food nearby. Only 2-3 restaurants where there are accommodations from the same owners. Since in this hotel, breakfast is not provided. Thus, going to the other two hotel-restaurants are kind of the only option, which normally costs 10-12 euros for breakfast.

No screens on the windows. No a/c…a fan would have been great….if I felt comfortable (an alley was outside my window) to keep window open during the night it would have been good because it did cool off in the early morning!

The room was very tiny and so was the bathroom but I suppose it is related to the old structure. Some basics were missing though (like a hairdryer, or a cabinet to put the clothes), which is a bit of a surprise considering the price of the accomodation, already in the medium range.

We rated this stay as up there with our best guesthouses in Zagoria region.
