Everything about the property was very nice. Nicely appointed, clean, great kitchen, and in the central part of the old town.

When I arrived, I was greeted by a staff member who did not measure up for me. I just completed 27km and I was pretty excited to have done this. The staff member checked me in without any amount of “ how was your Camino?“ Or anything else that might suggest how I might be. I would imagine that an important part of this job. I had a few other interactions that were just about the same level of interaction. Enough said.

L'hostel est très bien équipé, la chambre et la cuisine ok. Tout parfait....accueil ok

Sauf, pas d'ascenseur et la nuit on n'arrive pas à dormir à cause du ventilateur de la chambre à coté (la 6), une torture. Le matin j'envoie mes protestations à la proprietaire et à midi et demi la dame du nettoyage eteint le ventilo Oh enfin... Le soir, la receptionniste m'informe que je n'aurais plus de problèmes car la 6 sera vide. Mais quand je rentre dans ma chambre, la 7, le bruit est encore present!!! Le hazard fait que la porte de la 6 est ouverte et là je decouvre que c'est un debarras de linge et de mobilier, pas une chambre normale!!! Alors, ils se foutent de ma gueule... La receptionniste dit qu'il y avait quelqu'un la nuit d'avant, mais en réalité ils oublient d'eteindre la lumiére, qui allume le ventilo, dans leur salle de bain employés. Ils s'en foutent et de plus, au final, ils me disent d'accepter de partir sur le champs en me remboursant la nuit suivant. Pas de remboursement de la nuit torture sans dormir...mais aller chercher une chambre ailleur!!! La nuit suivante, sans bruit , j'ai très bien dormi...

Le petit déjeuner pas varié. Le jus d'orange infame , on aurait un sachet dilué dans de l'eau . Je ne sais quoi , mais pas du jus d'orange .

Instalaciones nuevas en edificio reformado en el centro histórico de Barcelos. Muy bien situada, facilidad para aparcar. La habitación muy grande y muy cómoda.

Hay ruido de tráfico por la mañana pero por la noche es muy tranquilo.

The elevator is not allowed to be used.

Location was directly on the Camino route, and on a Main Street with plenty of cafes around! There was a remote for air conditioning, but we couldn’t seem to figure it out. It was not uncomfortable though. Space with a key given to me at check in to secure belongings. Washer and dryer for an extra cost, but was nice after hand washing for so many days!

My room was on the third floor. Climbing 2 flights of stairs after 33 Km walking was tough.

Lorsque je suis arrivée il n'y avait pas de lit pour moi, parce que mon prénom n'avait pas son E de Michèle. Heureusement la jeune fille qui parlait bien le français à tel et j'ai eu mon lit au 3eme étage. Par ailleurs il y a un ascenseur mais on ne peut pas s'en servir. Quant on vient de faire plus de 20 kms et qu'il faut monter 3 étages c'est dur... J'avais vu sur les avis des soucis. . Sinon lit parfait, sanitaires très propres....

This hostel was in a very central location in Barcelos. We were only staying one night as walking the Camino Portuguese so it was perfect for an overnight stop. There are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity but there is also a kitchen if you'd rather eat in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Camera pulita, asciugamani, lenzuola. Doccia grande. Grande cassettone dove riporre valigie zaino. Vicino anzi sulla via principale per il centro. Buona colazione. Grande balcone al terzo piano. Asciugatrice e lavatrice a pagamento.

Presenza di sole scale per accedere ai piani. Come detto la colazione è buona ma migliorabile

Stayed one night during the Caminho de Santiago. Location and room are very good. There is a kitchen which you can use to make food and fridge to store food, which is the same place they serve breakfast. The normal hour for breakfast was 8am but the staff at reception kindly did it 30min earlier for us. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer at the hostel which were very handy for us as we really needed to wash our clothes and other laundries were a bit far.

The washing machine and drier only work with coins but they don’t change money at reception so you should have some coins with you. You also need to have your own detergent and softener, otherwise it’s only water.

Die Lage ist toll. Mittendrin. Das Zimmer ist nachts relativ ruhig, obwohl tagsüber viel los ist.

En plein centre ville au pied de la rue piétonne. Si vous restez dans la ville et que vous avez réussi à stationner votre voiture, plus besoin de la déplacer.

The hostel is right in the center, close to shops and restaurants and on the Camino de Santiago.

Reception is closed until 15.00 which is unexpected for a hostel or hotel. One window in our room was boarded up. The drain in the bathroom got stuck closed, but the receptionist worked hard and successfully to resolve that

L'hôtel est très bien équipé et situé dans un très joli quartier typique. Le personnel est adorable. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la cuisine commune mais elle est très bien équipée et dispose d'une machine à laver et d'un sèche linge. La climatisation fonctionne très bien. C'est silencieux

Un petit bémol, le manque de places de stationnement

Beautiful historical building, centrally located and yet relatively quiet. Nice terrace where you can eat inside and outside . Well equipped kitchen. AC in room very quiet.
