Beautiful hotel and suite. Friendly helpful staff. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Swell Boutique hotel. Staff really were amazing, they were always so helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and had a beautiful sea view. It was split over 2 floors, upstairs having its own bathroom too, lots of wardrobe space and storage. The stairs were a little steep so had to be extra careful coming down. The bathroom could do with updating (like a rainfall shower) but beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. Room service was daily and the ladies were so lovely. Really good breakfast selection, something for everyone and certain options changed daily. I really liked that they had local sweets/pastries so could try different things (all absolutely delicious!) The hotel is very conveniently located, about a flat 10 minute walk to the Old Town but plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. Although it’s right by the road we weren’t disturbed by any outside noise. The hotel has a nice small pool to the side or is across the road from the sandy beach. Hotel guests get discounted sunbeds and you can get food/drink to the beach too. We were so sad to leave, Rethymno is such a beautiful place and we would definitely recommend Swell Boutique!

Il s’agit de notre 3e séjour dans cet hôtel et nous ne sommes jamais déçu. Globalement tout est parfait. Une vue magnifique, une jolie chambre certes pas immense pour 3 mais c’est pas grave nous ne faisons que y dormir… le petit déjeuner est toujours très bon et varié, le personnel est charmant … bref nous aimons beaucoup cet hôtel… Seul petit bémol la literie (du moins dans notre chambre est à revoir… le fauteuil convertible pour un ado de 17 ans est un peu limite … et notre lit n’était pas du plus grand confort non plus…)

Flott beliggenhet og service, hotellet er noe slitt men personalet var veldig behjelpelige. Fin utsikt mot sjøen. Frokosten var veldig god med mye å velge i. Vil absolutt anbefale andre å bo her!

Great location on the beach. Walkable to Old Town and all of the many shops and restaurants. Property was immaculate and our room was very spacious. A very nice breakfast each morning. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel just across the road from beach and an easy, flat, and pleasant walk into town. Nice range of restaurants and cafes close to the hotel.

The hotel is directly across the beach, and in walking distance to the center of the city. Rooms are nice, with nice sea view, the balcony ok, breakfast was very good.

Chambre propre avec tout le confort, grande douche, matelas confortable. Petit déjeuner en buffet, très fourni, avec jus orange pressé, il y a des spécialités grecs. Il y a même un petit déjeuner à emporter si on doit partir avant 8h qui est très complet. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon, j’y ai mangé un soir, à un tarif raisonnable. Le parking est petit, seulement 4 places de parking devant. Toutes les places autour de l’hôtel sont gratuites, mais cela doit être compliqué en pleine saison. Précision, personne ne parle français. L’hôtel est très bien situé à environ 10 ou 15 min à pieds du centre ville. Et pleins de commerces à côté de l’hôtel. Le seul « problème » c’est la plage, l’hôtel fourmi des serviettes pour la plage, après il y a une plage parasol et transat du nereas ( nom du restaurant de l’hôtel) donc on a l’impression qu’on y a droit gratuitement, mais en faite non, c’est payant, 8€ pr le parasol et 2 transats, je vous conseils d’aller plus loin car certains c’est 5€ ou gratuit si vous prenez une conso. Dommage que ça ne soit inclus dans l’hôtel… c’est le seul point noir de l’hôtel.

Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und ruhig. Der Service und auch das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Insgesamt hatte ich einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und hoffe, bald wieder herkommen zu können.

Bon emplacement face à la plage et proche de la vieille ville. Belle chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Personnel très accueillant et serviable. Bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet avec beaucoup de choix.

Bare å ta av seg hatten for service her :-) Knallbra sted. Vi var heldige med rommet som hadde sjøutsikt, og to toaletter. Dette var kjempe bra. Og veldig kort vei til stranden. Litt traffikert vei, men ble oppveiet at man hadde 10 meter til strand. Samt at de hadde "deal" ang. solstoler og parasoll til en hyggelig penge. Nydelig buffet frokost så lurt å ta med denne i prisen enn å lete etter steder for å ha frokost. Perfekt avstand til masse barer og restauranter, og litt stillere (selv om den ligger langs hovedveien) enn inn mot sentrum, og langs kaien. Tipp topp, og vi kommer igjen hit.

Dejlig lille hotel, hvor man følte sig hjemme. Personalet var sød og meget hjælpsomme, helt sikker et Hotel vi vil anbefale til andre.Beliggeheden var perfekt tæt på alt.så absolut et sted vi vil komme tilbage til. :)

Clean and pleasant boutique hotel on the seafront, with a really helpful and friendly staff. Parking is limited but easily managed with a little help from hotel reception. The restaurants around the hotel are fun and good value, or a walk up to the harbour area and old town offers lots more great options.

From the first moment we arrived the man on reception couldn't do enough while he soughted out check in he brought us both a drink and some sandwiches the room was excellent we had 2 balconys both with a sea view the breakfast again was excellent so much food to choose from all the staff we're nice and friendly would highly recommend

The property was beyond welcoming especially as we arrived later than we anticipated. They were able to have dinner ready for us and continued to do so throughout our stay. I would highly recommend getting the dinners included with your room. It was the perfect way to experience a variety of Mediterranean cuisine! George and the rest of the restaurant staff were so attentive and friendly! George even gave us a list of words to say in Greek which we used through the week! The room was also amazing. It was clean, extremely spacious, and had a view of the beach. The location couldn’t have been better. We were a simple walk to town and a short cab ride away from the bus station!

The Swell Boutique hotel was fantastic! All the front desk and meal staff were so helpful and always addressed all our needs. Lina at the front desk was amazing- she was incredible! She spent so much time helping us to plan our days and our touring, looking up details regarding distances and directions, calling museums and restaurants, and checking in with us regularly about follow-up. She went above and beyond, always with a smile!! We were so impressed! The hotel was in a perfect location and we walked everywhere in the town and had easy access to the highway for driving and sightseeing.
