Smadar Inn

The breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed using the pool and the gym. Smadar is an excellent host. The room very comfortable- just what we needed. The inn is on the main street where all the shops, restaurants, galleries etc are located.

It would be better if the owners cultivated the area around the rooms etc. Like most zimmers in Israel, it is expensive.

המקום לא מטופח,אין ניקוי חדרים אלא אם אתה מבקש אתה מקבל מגבות נקיות,סאונה בשרות עצמי על ידי הדלקה מראש של 40 דקות והמחיר לא מצדיק את עצמו.

בריכה לא מחוממת מספיק ולא מזמינה לא השתמשנו בסאונה כדאי לטפח יותר את החזות החיצונית של המקום

המקום יפה. אסתטי. הבריכה נהדרת. המיקום נפלא.

המחיר פשוט לא הגיוני בעליל. המצב בארץ הוא כזה שאנחנו משלמים 350 יורו ללילה לחדר עם ארוחת בוקר. לאן הגענו? אשמח לחזור, אבל לא אסכים להוציא סכומים כאלה בעתיד הנראה לעין. הבעיה זה מחיר הטיסות וביטולי הטיסות לחו"ל- שבגללו אני מוצאת את עצמי מוציאה סכום כזה לא הגיוני על לילה בצימר. בשבת לא מנקים את הצימר, כי זה שבת. למרות שבשבת משלמים 350 יורו. אין הנחה על שבת. בכל מלון או צימר בחו"ל מנקים את החדר במחיר כזה. מעבר לזה הערתי להם שהם שמים שמפו אחד, קונדישנר אחד וקרם גוף אחד לזוג ליומיים. במקום לשים 4 מכל דבר מראש. אמרו שאבקש ויביאו לי כל דבר- וחיכיתי הרבה שעות ולא הביאו עד שהזכרתי שוב. אמנם האיכות טובה, אבל אפשר לשים חומרים מאיכות פחות יוקרתית רק שיספיק ולא ארגיש שאני צריכה להתחנן לעוד. זה מיותר, הלא אני בחופש. למה אני צריכה לבקש שיחליפו לי את כוסות הקפה בשבת בזמן שאני משלמת בשבת 350 יורו ללילה? או שיבוא מגבות נקיות. את זה הם צריכים לעשות לבד, על דעת עצמם. כשאני בחופש בחו"ל אני לא חושבת שאי פעם, בכל ימי חיי, הוצאתי כזה סכום על מלון. בשום מקום בעולם. 700 יורו לשני לילות רק עם ארוחת בקר בלי שמפו מספיק- לא היה עולה בדעתי. אז נוצר מצב של אין ברירה במושגים של חופש ישראלי או להישאר בבית. אז למרות שהמקום יפה וקסום, כששואלים אותי איך היה אני מדברת על המחיר המופקע ביחד עם זה שהמקום מקסים. זה הולך ביחד. והעניין של חוסר השירות בשבת בזמן שהמחיר מופקע. זה סטנדרטים ישראלים שהתרגלנו אליהם שפשוט לא הגיוניים. אשמח לחזור במחיר אחר. אם יהיה מבצע, הנחות רציניות, משהו יותר סביר מבחינת ההוצאה.

Large spacious creatively decorated rooms with a European flair. Excellent location with walking to most shops and restaurants. Lovely salt swimming pool and sauna. Very friendly and helpful hostess.

We had only 3 days there.

I want this breakfast every morning! And try the local wine.

Room was great, very comfortable, very good breakfast and unique surroundings.

The room is not cleaned and maintained daily, the pool is not usable, its not open to the air and the sun, its too warm and there is a strong smell of chlorine.

What a gem! The rooms were spacious, lovely, and the innkeepers had thought of everything--snacks, towels (and abundant places to hang them), and even a bottle of their signature wine! Breakfast was friendly, tasty, and abundant. Perfect location within Zichron, and easy travel to Haifa and Caesaria. Would highly recommend and definitely would return.

Acoustic separations between the units could be better. AC could not heat the entire area, so the radiator supplied did the trick

We liked everything about the inn. The room is spacious and beautiful, the bed is comfortable, great location right next to the pedestrian area with restaurants, parking, amazing breakfast.

We stayed at the Smadar Inn for 3 nights. Moti and Noga, the hosts are lovely, helpful and provided a most delicious Israeli breakfast. Moti makes everything fresh. Smadar is a block to the town of Zichron Ya’akov with wonderful dining options and cute shops. We were also able to access all of the sites of interest to us easily. We highly recommend this inn.

The owner, Moti, was fantastic. He went out of his way to make our stay really good, and even got me some watermelon, which was so so lovely of him. Really wonderful. He couldn't have been nicer. The room was lovely, our host was fantastic and I enjoyed the pool

It would have been good to have a bit more storage/ hanging space and a full length mirror.

The hosts made you feel at home and having breakfast with family. The room was spacious, clean, had nice towels and toiletries and overall lovely. After much traveling the room, location and hosts were just what we needed!

There was nothing to dislike. Smadar-Inn was more than we ever expected and was a great value.

The location was amazing, right in the centre by the pedestrianised area and all the restaurants and shops yet set back from the street. The four very spacious rooms are set in a courtyard amongst olive and oak trees. the pool was a bonus with very warm water. We were served fresh, wholesome food at breakfast including eggs of your choice. The host and hostess were welcoming and made us feel at home. A complimentary bottle of wine, snacks and chocolates were much appreciated and especially the fresh milk in the fridge which is unheard of in Israel!

אחד המקומות המקסימים! המארחים נהדרים. ארוחת הבוקר תוצרת בית היתה טעימה להפליא והחדר נקי מאוד ומרוהט בהקפדה על הפרטים. נהננו מהאינטימיות ומזה שהמקום מארח עד 4 זוגות. וכן, שהארוח למבוגרים ללא ילדים. האין ממוקם בתחילת המדרחוב ומול בית אהרונסון. מיקום נהדר. ואין לי מילים לתאר את הבריכה הנהדרת, שחוממה בדיוק לטמפרטורה הנכונה. נהננו מאוד ובטוח שנחזור
