Da jeg bestilte første gang så viste det sig at jeg skulle dele værelse med andre. Og det viste sig at jeg ikke kunne for jeg havde en hund med og derfor skal betale ekstra for at få et enkelt værelse

It is a proper hostel. It’s not luxury, but you have everything you need. You can even make yourself free coffee or tea. The person at the reception is really nice and offers recommendations about the city.

A couple of things could use a bit of maintenance (squeaky beds, the paint coming off the furniture …), but for me, these are just visual problems, otherwise it didn’t affect my stay.

Estaba cerca del festival al que íbamos a asistir, así que lo elegimos principalmente por eso. El hombre de la recepción fue muy amable y gracioso, el espacio es muy grande y era un ambiente agradable y silencioso para descansar.

Everything is OK - nothing is missing, and nothing is too much. Kitchens (two) are very well equipped, and there is plenty of space in the dining rooms. Prices are reasonable (for Sweden).

Der Herr am Empfang war sehr nett, großzügig und hilfsbereit.

Das es sich um ein Hostel handelt war mir klar aber für mich machte es eher den Eindruck wie ein Obdachlosenheim. Der Schlafsaal mit den Doppelstockbetten war stickig und schmutzig. Die Bäder und Duschen waren sehr ungepflegt. In die Küche habe ich mich erst gar nicht getraut. Die Bilder der Anzeige entsprechen nicht dem jetzigen Zustand.

Location: add at least 20 - 30 mins more to take a bus to central malmo. If you don't have a transport pass, that adds to the commute cost too. Poor ventilation in room with no windows except a small opening near the ceiling; quite stuffy. Costs more than a hostel in Copenhagen to my surprise.

Daniel was great at making sure that I was able to check in lage. I stayed in the female dorm which was clean and people were quiet and respectful.

The hostel relies on booking.com to communicate with guests which can be a bit stressful when the app doesn't work. Also you need to call them on the day if you need to check in late.

Kök enbart för medhavd frukost. Gratis parkering - men det borde kanske framgå att det är i mån om plats. Det verkade stå parkerade bilar på dessa p-platser från husen omkring ibland. Föreslår att man rekvirerar en P-skylt att sätta innanför vindrutan för att motverka detta.

Några av de boende upplevdes som hemlösa och/eller socialfall. Det kändes inte tryggt med stökiga och upprörda bråk ibland mitt i natten. Sängarna var väldigt hårda och draperiet vid min säng täckte inte sovytan varken upptill eller nertill (Sal 14). En sjukpensionerad kvinna (i en sal för 8 pers) var uppenbarligen heltidsboende och hon hostade nätterna igenom. Tungt när man själv kommer ner för en veckas semester.

I was very concerned after reading the bad reviews for this place, but: The staff were extremely nice and helpful. When I tried calling the place to ask if I could drop off my luggage early, I didn't reach anyone at first but the staff called me back not even 10 minutes later. I was able to drop off my luggage as early as the reception opened, this was especially helpful. The people working at the reception were extremely kind. As it says in the booking information, bedding has to be rented for 50kr, but the day I arrived the owner gave it to me free of charge. The owner gave some very good recommendations regarding what to eat/do in the area. The mattress and bedding were clean. Every bed has curtains. There was a fridge in the room to store food in besides the community fridge in the kitchen. The common spaces were fine to sit in. Free coffee and tea. Toilets were cleaned daily. The people who seem to somewhat permanently live in the hostel were very friendly as well. There were no disturbances at night. There were restaurants, a grocery store and many bus stops less than a couple minutes away from the hostel. The area is calm and seemed very safe even at night. Overall I felt safe staying in this hostel as a woman solo-travelling.

While this hostel is good if you just need a place to stay the night, just a bed to sleep in, as a person who stayed 4 nights in total I did have some issues.. Overall it was not very clean. Especially the floors were dirty in all areas, including the bathrooms. I might be a bit sensitive when it comes to that, but kitchen was dirty to a level were I did not feel comfortable using it at all. The shelves and drawers were dirty, there were no extra sponges or towels and the ones available were pretty dirty and rough looking when I got there. The common fridges were extremely full. Overall it wasn't equipped well either, the pots seemed not to be compatible with the stove and some parts of it were broken as well. The microwave was pretty dirty as well. While the mattress had a topper and was completely spotless and the bedding was clean as well, the shelf above my bed was extremely dirty: there was gum stuck to it and it was very dusty. The wooden frames of the top bunk bed were very dusty as well. The mirror was dirty and even though someone working there must have come in the room to make the beds of the people who had left, a lot of dirt built up on the floor during my 4 night stay. So the room wasn't cleaned at all during that time. The lower lockers in the room were extremely dirty as well. The top ones were fine. Be aware that lockers only work with a big lock. I only had a small one and it could have been opened even with the small lock attached. But my stuff was not stolen or anything so that was fine. The fact that most of the area was pretty dirty made me slightly uncomfortable and I avoided using shared spaces as much as possible. I did see that the toilets were cleaned every morning but I can't say the same thing about the showers. Overall: My experience at this hostel was fine. I paid roughly 33€ per night but I have stayed at better and especially cleaner hostels for cheaper in Sweden.

I did not complete my stay, I checked out two hours into the stay. It's not really a hostel in the sense, it accommodates low income people, probably some welfare housing making money from hosting people as well. People who are sick with chest and skin issues as well. Not safe. It was kind of creepy as some people looked clearly deranged. This should not be listed in the first place on booking.com

Die Lage ist gut, wobei man mit dem ÖPNV ohnehin überall hin kommt. Hervorragend sind die kostenlosen Parkplätze am Vadrarhem. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und es gibt viele Informationen und Empfehlungen der Unterkunft die auch wirklich hilfreich sind.

Im ersten Moment war ich etwas von der Größe der Schlafsäle erschrocken, aber es waren nie alle Betten belegt, auch wenn es hieß, dass das Haus ausgebucht sei. Man hat wenig Platz seine Sachen zu verstauen, aber man kommt zurecht.

Hade ingen lampa (som de andra hade) och alla som sov i underslaferma hade brett ut sig och hade god plats för sina saker under sängen, på bord och stolar. Jag fick ingen plats alls, så jag fick ha alla mina saker och hela min packning uppe i sängen.

Good hostel overall: beds with curtains, lights and sockets near the bed, a separate corner with lockers partially isolated from the rest of the room, two full sized kitchens with big lounges where you can eat and even watch a tv. The host is also very friendly, he came to the hostel multiple times just to chill and talk to people

Personál (pravdepodobne majiteľ) bol nesmierne milý a pomohol nám vyriešiť problémy, ktoré nastali a naozaj sa snažil o to aby sme dostali čo najlepšiu izbu ako kompenzáciu - Velke množstvo vybavenia v kuchynke. Kuchyne sú tu 2 s velkou jedálňou.

- Komunikácia s hostelom bola veľmi zlá. Na správu mi odpísali skoro až po 24hodinách. - Boli sme tu ubytovaný 1 muž a 1 žena. Môjho brata dal systém do izby spoločnej ŽENSKEJ izby kde samozrejme byť nemohol. To sa našťastie vyriešilo a miesto pre ňho našli. - Avšak keď sme prišli na ubytovanie, povedali mi, že moja rezerácia bola ZRUŠENÁ, pretože niekomu predĺžili pobyt a mňa vyškrtli. - Celá situácia sa vyriešila dobre keďže nás s bratom dali na súkromnú izbu. - V kúpelni bolo špinavo (v sprchách) a bolo nepríjemné sa tam sprchovať.

Es wurde kurz vor Anreise die Übernachtung storniert, angeblich, da ich nicht binnen 30 Minuten auf eine email geantwortet hatte. Kurzfristig konnte ich dann nur teurere Unterkunft buchen, nur kleinen Ausgleich zurück bekommen

Det låg bra till för vårt ändamål. Lätt att ta sig till & från med stadsbuss eller gå. Fick en extrakudde för jag tyckte inte det var bra med en bara, utan problem. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal!

Rum med två gluggar till fönster, typ 3 meter upp. Gick inte att mörklägga under natten. Det ena fönstret var öppet och gick inte att nå för att stänga. Rummet var inte helt rent, så vi fick börja med att städa. Han som.jobbade i receptionen när vi kom var trevlig, men fick aldrig svar på det mejl jag skickade till boendet i samband med tidig utcheckning.

It's a reasonably priced hostel with all amenities like city buses, airport bus, supermarket etc in a walking distance. City center is a little further by foot, but it's always a nice walk through the picturesque part of town. Staff was really nice, people staying in the hostel as well. All public amenities were clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning involved.
