Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Viesnīcas dzīvoklis mūsu ģimeni patīkami pārsteidza. Dzīvoklis bija ļoti tīrs, skaņu izolācija vienreizēja, gultas matracis, spilveni mīksti un sniegbaltas gultasveļas. Katru dienu istabas tika tīrītas-papildināti tualetes piederumi un trauku mazgāšanas tabletes) Virtuves iekartas tīras, trauki pietiekoši. Dzīvoklis nodrošināts ar drēbju žāvešanas skapi, kas mūsu ģimenei noderēja katru dienu, šādu opciju novērtējām. Slēpju inventāram atseviška telpa, kurā ērti novietot un izžāvēt inventāru, viss ir slēdzams ar atslēgu. Nav mazsvarīgi, ka dzīvoklī bija nodrošināta ventilācijas sistēma, kas ļooti atbilst mūsu vajadzībām. Pateicoties skaņu izolācijai, jutāmies ērti un netraucēti. Atrašanās vieta super, tuvu pacēlājiem un veikalam :) Esam daudz ceļojuši uz slēpošanas kurortiem, Zviedrijā bijām pirmo reizi un zinam , ka atgriezīsimies šeit :) Autostāvietā vietas pietiek visiem! Restorānus neapmeklējām, jo bija ērti izmantot virtuves iespējas gatavojot pašiem.
Mums pietrūka veļasmašīna, jo bijām ar 3 bērniem :) bet tas nav nekas negatīvs, jo kopumà esam ļoti apmierināti!!! Varbūt varētu saunās nodrošināt ierobežojumu saunas krāsniņai, jo mūsu bērns neveikli apdedzināja roku, pieskaroties karstajai krāsniņai :(

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026I liked the view, how it was clean and felt almost like new. The room was spacious, and a beautiful bathroom. I enjoyed how many towels where available every day and the little gift bag upon arrival with skincare. Also very nice that we had a drying cabinet in the room and our own locker for our ski stuff that had heating station for the ski boots. The mattresses where also very comfortable.
The bedroom had terrible ventilation - we couldn’t sleep in it so we slept in the beds in the living room. Apparently the rooms can either get really cold or warm and hard to set a good temperature according to the staff in the reception. There was no privacy as far as the bathroom. It at some point felt like you slept in the bathroom due to being so close and because of the heat or smell that is a given from a bathroom. The curtains felt like it was placed on the wrong side of the doors. They were hard to close when being on the bathroom side and just not practical at all. When wanting some peace from the living room and closing both doors it was extremely warm and couldn’t find any ventilation. The temperature in the livingroom was way better. It was also very odd that there was no phone in the room to call the reception etc. You have to call from your personal phone (and might be tricky for people coming from abroad) and no body informed us about this when checking in. Not any info in the room about it. The breakfast was good but lacked vegetables and the dishes where dirty at times. The reception didn’t offer any assistant with booking activities. They referred to call on your own or walk to stöten main reception by the slopes. There were only coffee on the room, had to ask for tea and the kettle hadn’t been emptied out from previous stay. One of the drinking glasses had old stearic from what I assumed some used it for in previous stay. But those things should be checked for the price we paid. We never tested the sauna in the bathroom due to not wanting to cause even more of a heatwave in the bedroom.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Wir hatten eine Suite im oberen Stockwerk. Dazu einen separaten Raum für die Skiausrüstung. Das Frühstück war nordisch-spartanisch, aber lecker, mit immer frischem Brot aus dem Ofen. Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Skipiste
Balkonfenster waren geschlossen, daher keine direkte Möglichkeit zum Luften. Die Lüftungsanlage hat aber ihren Job gemacht.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2025Nice and comfortable room, I slept very well. The room was cool, while the bathroom was warm, the way I like it. The breakfast was included and good overall, although the selection of food was not huge either.
A guest in the room next door was coughing and I could hear it quite well, it would have been an issue with more noisy neighbours. When booking I liked the fact that there was a sauna area that I might be able to use in the morning before leaving, but seems like the hours are very limited and with booking required. Also, I checked in late in the evening and was hoping to have a ‘night cap’, but there did not seem to be any bar that was open.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2024Cozy hotel by the ski lopes. They have just started to be open at summer also. We had a two nights stopover here on the way from Norway. This place has a good potential to be a really great place also summer season.
Few development ideas to make it perfect: kettle and fridge in the room, since food servings are limited (next restaurant 20km). They normally serve (summer season): breakfast, lunch and dinner, though, not on the day when we where there. Could have been easy to serve some sandwiches or so.

To match the pricing, the bed was not good, there was not any kedel to warm coffee ind the room. There was a big dryer for clothes but not a fridge The soap dispenser in the bathroom was not good and to the price of the room and stay, there should bee a variety of soap in a bigger and better container. Conditioner was not available either The lack of information when you come 🫴 is astounning. I didn't know the facilities on the Sälen and when I asked for a specific restaurant they didn't want to help find it. I couldn't reach Fjällkåtan I did not booked special tours and sights in advance, because I was not informed that this should be done in months in advance and not a information about the different types of facilities were not properly presented or at all. Generel information about the place Beds were 2 beds put together and were not comfortable. Too the price this was not to bee expected

Reviewed Apr 25, 2023Price was good compared to the hotel and location. Beautiful view. My partner and I even managed to see the nothern light from our hotel room. Staff was an absolute delight. Super helpful and kind both from the lovely receptionists to the waiters in the restaurant. Even before we arrived they were great at accommodating my requests and helping me find transport to the hotel. The spa was small but very lovely after a long day of skiing. The breakfast included was good and healthy! With some Scandinavian treats included. It was walking distance from the lifts.
it is located in the middle of nowhere so if you’re not from a Scandinavian country it takes 10+ hours and 2 flights to get there. it was EXTREMELY slippery in their car parks

Fri parkering är trevligt, som inte finns vid Skistars anläggningar. Dock tyvärr trasiga laddboxar. Mycket bra och trevlig service från personalen. Bra frukost ingår. Reviewed Feb 20, 2023Dejligt hotel med en super beliggenhed. Nemt at komme til og fra pisten. Gratis parkering. Vi havde to værelser med connecting door - helt perfekt til en familie på fire personer.

Reviewed Jan 23, 2023Överlag är detta hotell super bra. Men att man till låter hund i framförallt frukost matsalen(men även i restaurangen). Gör mig besviken. Tänk på det när du bokar om.fu är allergisk mot pälsdjur.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2023Great location directly on the ski slopes, beautiful facilities, awesome and helpful staff. Pet friendly hotel in every sense! pet friendly room has also extra bed for the dog. Reall good buffet breakfast. Super cozy.
We’ve got two single beds instead of one double bed. Problem was that beds are pretty light, so it’s difficult to keep them together.
