Die Hygieneartikel fantastisch 😁 Das Frühstücksbuffet war hübsch angerichtet und hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Sengene gode. Dejligt med mulighed for at lave kaffe/te og skønt med køleskab. Dejlig terrasse med behagelige stole. Alt i alt et skønt sted, hvor der er kælet for detaljen overalt.

Rymliga rum med egen ingång och liten uteplats. Härlig personal. Nära Herta med långgrund sandstrand och svalkande bad. Vi njöt till fullo!

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Lyxigt nybyggt hotell som ändå smälte in i platsen och naturen. Vi bodde i snygga bekväma rum. Saknade inget. Fanns ingen tv - men det saknade vi som sagt ej. God och lokalproducerad mat. Engagerade ägare som själva arbetade på hotellet och berättade om områdets historia och sevärdheter.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Das Hotel liegt mitten im Grünen. Sehr gutes, ausreichendes aber kleines Frühstück, habe noch nie eine so gute Marmelade gegessen. Zimmer sehr schön und mit Sitzgelegenheiten vor der Tür im Freien. Hier kann man nicht nur die Natur und Kultur von Gotland genießen, sondern auch ausspannen und sich erholen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr redselig, sie gab uns gleich gute Tipps und eine Karte, was man alles anschauen soll. Haben wir gemacht und waren sehr dankbar dafür
Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, aber die Betten stehen einen Stock höher. In der Nacht der WC- Gang ist bei Steifheit der Gelenke nicht so optimal.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Die Lage ist unübertroffen schön; wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt, ist hier absolut richtig. Wir hatten die Fahrräder dabei und so die Möglichkeit, die wunderschöne Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Eigentümerin war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünschen unerfüllt. Auch das Essen im Hotelrestaurant war hervorragend!
Wir haben in keinerlei Hinsicht etwas zu beanstanden.

Our hosts Charlotte and Lars were the perfect guides in helping us make the most of our days. Breakfasts and dinners were both beautifully prepared and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. For all of Strandakar’s charms and beauty, it is the hosts are the magic that makes this place special and one to return to again. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2025Are you looking for a great hotel in the southeast of Gotland? Then we would like to recommend Strandakar Hotell & Restaurant. The restaurant is also highly recommended. In the hotel, which only has 12 rooms, you can get very well to rest. Each room has its own entrance and a seating area in front of the room. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can also have breakfast or dinner. The nice hotel owners work in the hotel themselves and are usually present and approachable from morning to evening. There is the DeLuxe room with sleeping floor and rooms that are on one level (good for disabled people and possibly older people). The beds are super comfortable. The bathroom is very generously dimensioned. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires, including homemade muesli and jams and good coffee! We were allowed to spend six nights in the hotel. On the first evening we went to the bistro for dinner, which was very good. From the hotel we visited the entire south of Gotland. Good visiting tips are given by the hotel owner. If we come to Gotland again, we will certainly book the hotel! Thanks to the nice owners of this hotel.

Helped me a lot and gave me good ideas for what i can do in Southern Gotland! Wonderfull dinners in the evening and the breakfast is all with local food, scrambled eggs fantastic!!! To everyone who wanna discover southern part of Gotland - this is the best adress! I will come back for sure.

Was not told that bed is on loft requiring climbing some steep stairs. That made it difficult particularly when one wants to go to toilet at night. Also, the room was not cleaned properly. We later realized that they do have rooms in which the bed is on the same level, and would only recommend those rooms

Reviewed Aug 11, 2021- fantastiskt sköna sängar (och kuddar, täcken samt sängkläder) - Nytt & fräscht - välstädat - underbart med sovloft för deluxerummen - god mat och fint upplagt - cykeluthyrning på hotellet - ligger på landsbygden; perfekt om du vill ha det lugnt och skönt! När vi kom var det inte solklart var vi skulle gå in, det var ingen tydlig hotellentré men det visade sig man checkade in och ut i baren. Även där man hyr cyklar!

Reviewed Sep 20, 2020En vecka på Gotland, tre nätter i norr och tre i söder. Fåglar, naturreservat, kyrkor mm. Strandakar lockade med sitt läge och sin utformning. Vi valde det som bas för turer i södra Gotland. Hotellet och värdparet svarade upp mot alla förväntningar. Och vilken mat! Allt var toppen helt enkelt. Varm rekommendation.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2020Underbart litet hotell på syd-östra sidan av Gotland. Otroligt hjälpsam personal som berättar om sevärdheter och gör allt för att gästen ska trivas. Rummen var luftiga, smakfullt möblerade och hade underbara sängar. All mat var helt perfekt anpassad och smakrik. Rekommenderas verkligen till par och även mindre grupper då det finns ett tjusigt samlingsrum.

Vi var här mitten på augusti så inte så många gäster. Bra i Coronatider men lite ödsligt. Extremt varmt när vi kom så varmt på natten då det ej fanns ac, natt två bättre! Lite annorlunda boende, oerhört fräscht och lugn känsla. God mat i restaurangen.
