Starker Geruch aus dem Bad bzw den Abflüssen. Nur ein kleiner Mülleimer. Hellhörig. Lärm in Zimmer neben uns weckte uns morgens.

Too expensive for what was delivered… for the price breakfast should be included, a bottle of wine would be a nice touch and a fridge & smart tv would be great additions Also on checkout my bill was higher than the price quoted, although quickly resolved, this should not happen with good administration

The procedure for arrival was a big let down, the email they sent did not tell us the code had changed so it took us 2 hours to get in. Reception only open in the morning.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Fantastyczny hotel, który zdecydowanie zapamiętamy. Przyjechaliśmy po godzinie 14, kiedy recepcja była już nieczynna, ale wcześniej otrzymaliśmy wszystkie kody wejściowe, a na miejscu czekała na nas koperta z miłym listem powitalnym. Pokój był piękny, bardzo przestronny, z ogromną łazienką i widokiem na rzeczkę przepływającą pod hotelem. Zasypianie przy szumie wody było niezwykle przyjemne. Wyjątkowym atutem jest przepiękna przestrzeń wspólna z kanapami, fotelami i tarasem z widokiem na winnicę. Wieczorem mieliśmy ją praktycznie tylko dla siebie. W lodówce czekały wina produkowane przez właścicieli – przepyszne – a przez cały czas można było korzystać z kawy i herbaty. Rano w tej samej przestrzeni podawane było bardzo dobre śniadanie. Cały budynek jest pięknie odrestaurowany i ma wyjątkowy klimat. Hotel nie ma własnego parkingu, ale około 5 minut spacerem, na końcu uliczki, znajduje się duży parking miejski.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Centralt og fredeligt beliggende hotel med BB lignende system, hvor man låser sig ind med kodelåst hoveddør. Meget velindrettet værelse med separat toilet og stort badeværelse med 2 håndvaske og bruseniche. Aircondition og bord og 2 stole og udsigt over typiske byhuse.
Intet at savne.

Ik had een verouderde code gekregen en kon het pand niet binnenkomen. Niemand te bereiken terwijl ik exact op inchecktijd aanwezig was. Niemand heeft gereageerd op mijn bericht. Heeft me een uur gekost! Kamer is ok maar prijzig als je de voorzieningen bekijkt. Hotek voelt als een cashcow.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026De suite is heel ruim. Wij verbleven in nr 3 en die heeft ook een heerlijk terras. Goede bedden en heel stil. Je bent op loopafstand van het centrum. Gratis parkeren is dichtbij. Het ontbijt was goed. Er is een koffiemachine en waterkoker in de kamer.

The door code we received did not work and we were stuck outside trying to figure out how to contact the property to get in. To compound things, there were several garbage cans right outside the front door and flies buzzing everywhere. Finally walked over to the Laroche tasting room and the gentleman there gave us his door code to get in. It was quite an unpleasant way to start our stay.

The Hotel was clean but it is starting to show its age and it’s an odd set up when the rooms are available from 3pm but the staff leave at 2.30pm. Don’t expect a welcome!

Reviewed May 15, 2026A wonderful boutique hotel that has been beautifully renovated and is located very close to the center of Chablis. The stream running beneath the building added a special sense of beauty and romance to the place.
Reception closes quite early, so the hotel felt somewhat “self-service” from arrival until breakfast, when we finally met the receptionist. It was a pity that the restaurant was closed during our one-day stay.

Good petit dejeuner style breakfast in open breakfast room . Great open common sitting are adjacent to porch with great view of the vineyards. Staff was very friendly and provided guidance with guidance with regards to where to eat ( casual , more formal , ,etc ) While I did not eat at the restaurant assocaied with the hotel , I heard from other guests it was very good . In addition , the hotel is associated with Domaine Laroche vineyards . They provide an excellent tour of their caves as well as wine tasting . Overall , very pleased with my weekend in Chablis !
Television did not work . They tried to fix it but not possible . Not a big issue as I was not there to watch TV.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026La vue sur les vignes et le canal sont un plaisir pour les yeux et donne le ton du séjour, un havre de paix pour épicuriens. La chambre était sobre mais agréable, ainsi que la salle de bain très spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner soigné avec un joli choix de produits de qualité permet de bien commencer la journée, avec de l'excellent café et également de bons thés. Nous avons aussi apprécié le salon convivial pour y prendre un dernier verre avec nos amis grâce aux bouteilles au frais à disposition des clients, juste parfait!
Un rangement un peu plus spacieux aurait pu être intégré à la chambre. Le parking publique est ok mais le chargement de la voiture électrique était plus aléatoire, cela n'a pu se faire qu'à la 3e tentative, 2 bornes de chargement sur 3 étant hors d'usage au village.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026The hotel is conveniently located in the small town of Chablis with access to several wine shops for wine tasting. We had an excellent supper at the Wine Not brasserie which is nearby and enjoyed the weekly market on Sunday morning. We only saw a member of staff in the morning for breakfast, so it is imporant (as others have noted) to have the access code sent to you for the entrance door.available when you arrive.
As some revierers noted, the sound deadening between rooms is not great, e.g. footsteps and coughing. However, this was only noticeable a couple of times during our stay and certainly would not stop us staying at Le Vieux Moulin again.
