Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hat uns mit5 dem Gepäck ins Zimmertragen geholfen. Wir haben eine Nacht dort verbracht. Das B&B liegt in einer ruhigen, engen Straße ganz in der Nähe des Zentrums. Das Frühstück war super. Da es sich um ein altes Stadthaus handelt, hat es steile Treppen. Das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig. Die Motos konnten auf einem Platz um die Ecke parken.

De gang rook heel hard naar rook. Toen we ‘s nachts op onze kamer kwamen rook ik het ook op onze kamer. Ook de badkamer had een specifieke geur.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Lo que más nos gustó al final fue la actitud de los propietarios que sin culpa ninguna se encontraron con un problema de que booking había reservado cuatro habitaciones y el propietario solo disponía de tres, eso sí , los propietarios muy amables intentaron hacer todo lo posible para que pudiéramos estar lo mejor posible. Los dos desayunos que nos sirvieron espectaculares.
Cuando llegamos allí que era ya por la noche el hotel o local solo disponía de tres habitaciones y booking metió la pata e hizo cuatro reservas, así que por la amabilidad de los propietarios nos tuvimos que meter dos noches a dormir cuatro personas en una habitación con una cama de matrimonio y nos puso dos camas supletorias en el cual nos hemos dejado de la espalda ya que no se podía dormir. Disponían solo de dos toallas , lo cual nos hemos tenido que secar cuatro personas con dos toallas, así que queremos reclamar a booking el fallo tan grande que ha tenido. Enviamos fotos correspondientes de la habitación donde hemos tenido que estar los dos días las cuatro personas. Entendemos que nos darán una solución lo más pronto posible. Muchas gracias.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Die Unterkunft ist ein altes Bürgerhaus. Vieles ist dort noch im alten Zustand. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber für eine Nacht hat es ausgereicht. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstück war gut und die Haushälterin hat uns sehr nett bedient. Unser Hund war im Frühstücksraum willkommen. Hinter dem Haus gibt es einen eingezäunten Hundeauslauf wo der Hund richtig rennen konnte, nach der langen Fahrt. Unser Auto konnten wir nebenan auf einem Parkplatz parken und dort gab es auch Ladesäulen zum Aufladen.
Im Zimmer und im winzigen Bad waren offensichtlich selbstgebaute Mückengitter, die ein Schließen der Fenster unmöglich machten. Es war ziemlich frisch in der Nacht. Leider hatten wir nur telefonischen Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer.

Nos recibió una vecina anciana cuando llegamos y el dueño nos recibió descalzo con calcetines el último día

Gebrek aan lift. Bed was te warm, te zacht en kraakte. Tegenover het hotel zit en lokale fiets club die luidruchtig feest kan vieren.

Το αρνητικό είναι οι πολλές σκάλες! Εμείς μέναμε στον επάνω όροφο και έπρεπε να ανεβεναμε σαράντα στενά σκαλιά!

Onvriendelijke gastheer, hygiëne ontbijtruimte, ontbijt onverzorgd bvb open pot confituur waar nog maar een bodempje inzat, wat niet uitnodigt om ervan te eten. Er was 1 potje yoghurt en 1 potje chiapudding terwijl we met 4 personeel waren.

Prima accommodatie. Was wel even wennen aan de directe buurt, wat rommelig en armoedig, een typisch Belgisch allegaartje, wat het ook wel weer leuk maakt. Verder stelt Eeklo niet veel voor.

It is impossible to sleep as it is very warm and the ventilator does not help. Would be nice to have air-conditioning. Luckily I got a Comfort room for the last night and we were happy with my dog there. We'll be back 🐕❤️

Een fijne locatie om te overnachten: een mooi en rustig pand, goed gelegen (nabij het station, wat voor mij heel belangrijk is), zeer vriendelijke mensen, rijkelijk ontbijt met een gezellige en interessante babbel met Koen. Als ik naar Eeklo trek, is Cambiare voor mij 'the place to be', en ik raad het iedereen aan.

Reviewed Nov 6, 2023We stayed for one night. B&B is in a quiet narrow street very close to the Centre. Breakfast was super. The host very kind and helpful. We mentioned the squeaky bed in the morning. He had already somebody round to fix it, but will now repeat that. Since it is an old town house it has steep stairs. The bathroom is very spacious. You can parc your car on a square around the corner, but better not on Saturday evenings, since there is a market going on on Sundays.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2023When we arrived, the only sign on the door was in Flemish. After using google translate, we tried all 3 bells as instructed but got no answer. We had to look up on Expedia to find the telephone number. The owner answered, and said a neighbour would be along shortly to let us in. He hung up on me whilst i was asking about the promised parking. The neighbour was pleasant but spoke only Flemish- i speak English, French, German, italian and Danish- so communication was hard. I had chosen this b&b partly because it claimed to have free parking, as my husband is disabled. It does not have any parking of its own. There is free on-street parking if you can find it: it took us 50 minutes of driving around to find a space, and then walking back with my disabled husband, for whom walking is painful. The room was okay, but the bath mat was dirty. The bed was okay, and the shower was good. I had booked for 2 adults but there was only one mug for coffee, one glass, one set of towels. Instant wins: don't promise parking you don't have, please have signs in multiple languages on the door with clear instructions if no-one is on-site, please clean everything with which guests will have direct bodily contact, and please leave two glasses and cups etc when the booking is for two people. Thank you.

Some smoking from a guest in the house, which I had to ask the owner to address and was taken care of.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2023Lovely little town and absolutely amazing b&b place. Very friendly owner, everything worked smoothly and well. Definitely a place to visit again! The bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in: so wide and adjusted to one’s bodyweight, big cosy pillows and super clean and soft sheets. Free parking. People in the town were super friendly as well. Dog park next door. The whole place was like from a fairy tail, absolutely amazing!!

Reviewed Jul 2, 2023Das B&B ist fußläufig zum Bahnhof gelegen, von dort ist man in 25 Minuten in Gent. An der Sauberkeit gibt es hier und da noch Nachholbedarf. Das B&B ist nicht für Tierhaarallerfiker geeignet.
