Beautiful location, very handy to the event we were attending. Robyn was a wonderful host. The accommodation is comfortable and well appointed., rooms had everything we needed. Great water pressure on the shower too! So good we've booked again for next year.

Wonderfull host, great central location very conveniently placed yet secluded and quiet. Clean room, responsive host, included breakfast was a nice touch.

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed! The shower water pressure was amazing, they also arranged our breakfast with our itinerary and we got to try their home grown fruits which was amazing! I would come back here again in a heartbeat. I’m so happy to have booked this place and will be coming back again someday.

Very peaceful and lovely hosts.

We stayed at Karapiro Willows in February 2020 and said then we would not hesitate to return. This trip we stayed there on our first night on arrival in NZ and again on our last 2 nights before leaving. Robynn and Vince are great hosts who give their guests a very warm welcome and ensure they want for nothing. The accommodation is very comfortable a clean, and breakfast is excellent set in a dining area with a beautiful view over their garden and beyond.

A beautiful B & B in a perfect location to enjoy hour long day trips to many North Island landmarks. If boating and lake life are your interests, it’s perfect. Robyn and Vince are great hosts, and provide a great breakfast in a beautiful setting. A great stay!

Water pressure is amazing, but if you’re not careful, you can over-do it and spray water all over the bathroom.

One of the best BnB experiences I've ever had. Great balance of a host that provided a lovely breakfast and local advice, but the accommodation is it's own wing so there was plenty of privacy. Well located, it felt like you were in a rural retreat but only 10 mins from Cambridge. We used it was a base to get to Waitomo and Hobbiton which was easily done. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

No notes, our only regret is that we didnt stay longer.

Booked three rooms, all very well presented and private, each with their own en suite and kitchenette. Was great having a private access felt like your very own space. Communication friendly and easy, very accommodating hosts.

I stayed in the Tree top studio, which was perfect for me as I could come and go without feeling like I was waking up or disturbing other guests - I would definitely recommend and stay here again as it was perfect location to Lake Karapiro as I was there for my sons Rowing regatta

Only a Small little thing was it had a kitchenette but not much utensils or cookware but this is a minor thing as I improvised for the small stay I was there for

Well didn't like the noise from time to time lack of privacy no designated smoking area as advertised. Service of room unacceptable didn't feel we got value for money.one day didn't get cups for coffee no sugar the next day and no towels owners took hours to rectify

This was our favorite stay of our two-week vacation in New Zealand. Fabulous accomodations - spotless. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower, quiet. It was a good base for visiting Hobbiton as well as the Ruakuri/Waitomo glow worm caves. Center of nearest town Cambridge less than a 10 minute drive. Enjoyed an impromptu dinner at Lake Karapiro where the New Zealand national team rows (super close to B and B). Robyn and Vince were amazing hosts and we really enjoyed breakfasts with them - lots of options including gluten-free. Parking provided. Highly recommend!

Our experience at the Karapiro Willows B&B was one of the best parts of our trip. While we only stayed two nights, we enjoyed delectable homemade meals at breakfast time cooked fresh and were greeted each morning by a most beautiful view looking out toward the patio. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed many a great chat learning about New Zealand during our visit. The room was very comfortable and cleaned spotlessly prior to our arrival. The locaion is also excellent if you're coming to the area to visit Hobbiton, as it's only a short drive away.

Our stay was exceptional. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable beds. The highlight was Robyn’s wonderful Kiwi hospitality! Our location was perfect for touring The Hobbit Movie Set Tour AND The Waitomo Caves. I highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing!

We had exceptional nice stay in Karapiro Willows Luxury B&b with very welcoming hosts family. Rooms were fresh and well maintained, surroundings were charming. Property is located not far from Auckland airport, it's good point to visit Hobbiton and thermal areas before going further to the South. Thanks a lot for so great start of our New Zealand vacations.

Breakfast excellent, location good. Nice part of the country.

On arrival I was unable to contact anyone by phone and had to resort to booking application despite my arrival time having been clearly stated.

The hosts are delightful and very welcoming. The breakfast was very generous and the outdoor setting is spectacular. I would absolutely recommend this to friends visiting the area. Cambridge and Hamilton are just beautiful parts of NZ.

The most peaceful and serene setting, with such kind and welcoming hosts, was the highlight of every place I stayed on my cross country NZ tour. I'm so glad I made the decision to be based out of this beautiful house for a few days - it's so well located to the highway and the beautiful experiences of the North Island, and the room was comfortable, quiet, and spotless. It felt so like home to stay here that I didn't want to move on! And the fantastic breakfast, and being able to sit out in the immaculate gardens and enjoy the local wildlife with the hosts, was an experience to be treasured (see pictures taken in the beautiful gardens). My strong recommendation is to stay here as long as you are able - do not rush this part of the country. Obviously Hobbiton is very close by, but it's a real treat to see the wildlife in the area at Sanctuary Mountain, or see glow worms on the nearby river at night. I'll definitely be back to this beautiful BnB!

My stay was amazing. Robyn is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was so amazing.My first day home with my family I tried to replicate to my husband and sons. It is so nice you have a separate area to come and go. I loved Bing watching the Crown since we don't have Netflix. Shower pressure is WOW! Nice Mini set up for kitchen use. I hope to stay again soon.

The owner is so nice and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, the house is beautiful, the location is close to a beautiful lake.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was exactly what we were expecting from the photos. The bed was comfy and it had everything we needed. Robyn and her husband were so friendly, and the breakfast they served was our favorite we had during our entire 12 days in New Zealand. No joke! Her husband's flat white was our absolute favorite, and we drank a lot of them during our trip! It was a great location for our tours at Hobbiton and the glow worm caves. I can't recommend this B&B enough.

The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The location, room, and facilities are fantastic and very clean. Breakfast was lovely. Thankfully, our hosts could accommodate the two mornings when we had early starts.

There was a bit of noise in the early hours of the morning from the guests in the room next door. I could hear them getting ready for the day, which woke me up. Other than that, everything was great.

Well... Robyn and Vince were amazing hosts, we had a very long breakfast each morning because of the great conversations. Robyn provided a beautiful selection of homemade muesli and fruits and preserves for breakfast along with toast and Eggs. Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and we had our own little kitchenette for cuppas etc. The location is so quiet and picturesque, we had a relaxing walk down to the lake and hydro station that you have no idea is actually there at all. Value for money, Excellent. Not far from the lovely town of Cambridge where you will find the fabulous Ross Brothers Car museum, absolutely worth a stop in here. We hope we get to stay here with Robyn and Vince again soon.

Hosts Robyn and Vince are the real deal. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb, the rooms are luxurious, and the setting is beautiful.

Breakfast was very nice. There was a good selection and plenty to eat, even gluten and dairy free options which we really appreciated. The host is a lovely person and she took good care of us.

While the location was central to so much to do on the north island, the scenery at the house was amazing. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the host, Robyn, was friendly, personable, and engaging. She had a great suggestion for dinner in Cambridge which was a delightful city to walk around in. Highly recommend Karapiro Willows for anyone looking at activities around the area.

This might have been the best stay on our whole trip. Robyn was so nice (Vince as well even though we only saw him once) and the breakfast was amazing! The room was extremely clean and well thought out. We will come back when we get back!
