We love everything about Eva resort, the location is perfect, the rooms are perfect, the breakfast is wonderful! The best part about Eva resort is the owner Clive and his wonderful family and amazing staff that run it, i have been coming to Patnem for many years and this is by far the best place i have ever stayed, i have found my home in Patnem, do not bother looking anywhere else, This must be the place!

we could not think of anything we did not like at Eva resort. Everything was amazing and we cant wait to return next year. cannot recommend highly enough.

The room was simple but very clean. The staff were happy to change my mattress which was initially very hard and uncomfortable.

The ground floor room is quite dark without any view.

Great location. It was 5 minutes walk to the wonderful beach. The room and bathroom were simple and clean with a little fridge and a great balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was nice and included in the price. The staff were super kind and helpful, especially Nikita, Clive and Madaleine. Thank you all for helping make this a wonderful stay.

Hosts Marylyn and Clive are lovely people and couldn't have done more with helping us make the most of our holiday. Very friendly hotel atmosphere, the rooms are cleaned daily, the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant/bar area is a big plus, the food is great and served with a smile by the lovely Nittish and his team.

I was in a room at the back of the property on the second floor. You are level with very mature trees so sitting on the balcony you can watch the birds and animal life which I loved. Apparently hornbills visit the mango tree every day between 5-6pm…!! The deluxe double room was huge with a very large and comfy bed. Hot water and A/C was great. The staff Clive, Marilyn and Nikita were super friendly and helpful.

My room did not have a window due to the design of the building but when the balcony door is open it gives natural light.

So close to beach and amenities. Good accommodation, great sized room, even better wetroom/bathroom. Constant hot water. Cleaned daily, bottled water provided daily. Fridge in room and tea and coffee making facilities. Great family run property. So handy having its own bar/restaurant.

Friendly staff and lovely owners, Clive and Marian. Perfect location, room cleaned every other day, fresh towels and water, toilet rolls always replenished.

Unfortunately we booked a standard room on the ground floor which we found out was very dark with no natural light except for the door opening onto balcony at back of hotel and the window was facing a dark interior hallway. Not a criticism but to be aware of type of room you book . Deluxe rooms are the best to go for

Great value no frills hotel. Everything worked, staff were lovely, location was perfect, room very quiet and cleaned regularly. Really enjoyed sitting on our balcony watching the amazing variety of birds in the trees outside. Would deffo stay there again if I return to Patnem.

Very clean. Large comfortable bed. We had a deluxe room and it overlooked a large tree at the back - enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the bird life. Breakfast in the restaurant was good. The staff were lovely.

I didn’t like the busy road into Patnem. Things improved once we discovered a cut through to the beach via a field opposite . Actually it is fairly central and there are a number of restaurants close by.

The staff are very friendly and will do anything yo help you. Always smiling and very helpful.

Arrived here looking forward to a nice room with a balcony like the one we had 18 months ago. We were shown to a 'room' on the 3rd floor which was actually on the roof space with the bedding drying and solar panels. This was a storeroom that has been converted into a makeshift hotel room. The room was not the same as the other standard rooms and had no balcony. We were offered some chairs and a table but you wouldn't want to sit out amongst the washing lines. I asked for another room but was told that the hotel was full due to a festival. I said I have booked this room over 3 months ago, why is there no proper room for me? The receptionist said stay in that room for 2 nights then you can move. I refused as I had booked a decent room for 5 nights not 3. Then she said on 2 Dec you can move which would have been 3 nights in the dump and only 2 in a proper room. I said I was not staying, even with the 'discount' that they offered me. We booked a room in another hotel despite being told that all hotels are full. I was disgusted with the treatment received, why should we be shoved in a sub standard room when we had booked well in advance? Take a look at the photos attached showing the room, doorway, outdoor space and stairway and compare them with the ones shown in the listing and on their own website. Beware that you are not relegated to this 'room' We tried to contact booking.com but only got the useless chatbot. Eve Resorts did agree to a full refund for us which was the best thing about our stay. * Two of the photos that I refer to above have not been published in this review, they can be seen in my tripadvisor review.

Rooms are big and the beds are king size! We had a deluxe suite which had percale cotton linen, lovely . It’s not right on the beach but just 5 minutes walk to the beach. The on site restaurant was great too, and if you’re a guest, breakfast is included, something not offered at most accommodations in Patnem. Mr Rodrigues and his wife, Marylyn, the owners are the best! I would definitely stay here again ❤️

Nice and simple place to stay near to the beach with exceptional hospitality by the hosts. It was very easy to rent a bike for the day and the restaurant serves good food and plays tasteful music.

The location is good close to the beach. The receptionist Nikita and support staff Akshay were responsive. There is ample parking on the property premisis

The room is just a normal room, with very very basic amenities, the bathroom also is just a nominal one without exhaust fan, sometimes the water pressure is bad. The bathmats and door mats are dirty, I think they are seldomly washed. There is only one plug for the fridge/kettle, so u need to manage when u want to use both. The tea cups etc provided in the room are old... the closets have some bad smell. The corridors of the property looks dingy. The breakfast was very minimal with one item like pav bhaji or omlet/toast etc. Overall its not worth for the money thats being put up in booking.com and the money the homestay itself is charging. Look into all the options before booking this place.

The propoerty was at walking distance from Patnem beach. Rooms were very clean & well maintained. Overall experience was totally worth the money spent.

It’s a large property on the main road but very quiet. The rooms are large and room I had also had a large sunny balcony. The staff and management were all very helpful. I was unwell unfortunately when I arrived and Marilyn who manages the place with her husband Clive arranged for a doctor to see me in my room. The food in the restaurant was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich super. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Man hat alles vor Ort was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist super lecker und das Personal vor Ort ist einem bei allem behilflich. Man kann auch Roller mieten, Taxis und Touren buchen und seine Wäsche machen lassen. Alles in allem ist die Lage auch nah am Strand und man erreicht vieles fußläufig.

Lovely place and tasty breaky Good location, it's out of the way that it's quiet and you can have a restful sleep but not too far if you do want to go out to Palolem for a meal/drinks/party. Also has places close by at Patnem beach which is within walking distance Mr. Clive was very nice

Very clean,quiet and convenient,close walk to the beach and shops,friendly staff. Good breakfast was included with the accommodation. Clive and everyone else working there were very helpful.

Everything was perfect

We loved everything about our stay here. The room was super spacious and was cleaned each day. We had a big bathroom with hot water and a balcony. The breakfast included is also very tasty. The staff are very attentive and friendly, helping us arrange laundry, scooter hire and rickshaw shuttle to the bus station. They also have great local knowledge of sights to see, yoga studio recommendations etc.

No bad things to say! Wish we had stayed longer!

The premium rooms are extremely comfortable, beds were best we had. We moved to cheaper rooms where the mattress wasn’t as nice. Nie restaurant where we are some of our meals. We also liked the fridge in our rooms. I also asked for 2 pillows in the cheaper rooms where which they provided at no extra charge. You can observe all sorts of birds in the back garden, we even saw a tiny flying squirrel at dusk.

Nothing really, Location is 300m or so away from everything so easily walkable. Wi-Fi out the back balcony can be a little intermittent

The staff are really helpful. They helped me book taxis and excursions, and even went to the market to pick up medicine for me when I was ill.

I did not like that there was not a window in the room, however, when I asked to change rooms, they obliged.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location (a very short walk from the beach). We had a large, spacious room with both air con and a fan, as well as a balcony. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially when I wasn’t feeling well for a few days. They arranged transfers to and from the airport for a very reasonable price and also sorted our laundry for us. The restaurant on-site does an excellent mix of Indian and Western food. We would happily come back here again!

Staff great, rooms good, atmosphere really friendly, well located,value for money . An easy 9 plus. Only small prob was poor wifi on 1st and 2nd floors otherwise it would have been 10.

Well located, it's a short walk to the main street which leads down to the beach. Lovely beach. Good family run hotel with large clean rooms, ours had a balcony overlooking garden and trees. The furniture is a bit tired but there was a fridge in the room - a bonus! Breakfast is under a covered area which is also a bar/restaurant - lovely to sit there and chat with folks who were regulars, staying for several weeks to avoid the British winter. Good choice of breakfast, staff really friendly and helpful. Owner too, he arranged both scouter hire and taxi to the airport and was happy answering questions before we arrived.

Great sized clean well appointed room with a nice comfy large bed The bathroom was great with endless hot water The fridge & kettle were great in the room and useful There was an outside terrace on our room where I enjoyed sitting in the mornings We appreciated a bottle of water in our room and the daily cleaning & fresh towels were great All the staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful Nothing was to much trouble The breakfast was tasty we tried all options and loved the banana porridge, eggs on toast & the goan choice as well The restaurant/ bar outside is cool & comfy and a full range of drinks and food is available It’s all excellent Clive the owner and his lovely wife went above and beyond helping us with scooter hire & sorting train tickets which was much appreciated. The hotel is ideally located for beautiful Patnem beach which is about 5 mins walk with its many bars and restaurants Palolem is not far and walkable (less than 45 mins) as well or a small fare tuk tuk ride away So a great place to stay & we will return

Poor Wi-Fi in our room that was intermittent (as was the power supply, but this wasn’t the owners fault). Bedside lights to help us read at night would have been useful.

Great location near Patnem beach road, but still possessing many silent rooms which face away from the main road which it is located on. Family run, very friendly, great staff. Has a decent restaurant + good bar on-site. Rooms are large, air conditioning is good, as are the hot showers. Nice balcony. Owners are happy to help with anything, be it receiving packages or helping with bike rentals, etc.

Barely any negatives, wifi is a bit spotty but this is not better elsewhere in the region.

Very near to Patnem beach and not very far from major beaches like Palolem and Agonda. There is calmness and cleanliness all around the property. Rooms are spacious and clean with balcony. Clive and the other staff were very welcoming, courteous and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience!!

The hosts were lovely and gave helpful advice. The room was clean and comfortable. It's just a short, pleasant walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, but the area itself is nice and quiet. I enjoyed having a terrace looking out over the back garden. Breakfasts were simple but good with a nice selection of options, and I appreciated that they let me refill my water bottle from the water filter in the kitchen.

We had a lovely stay at Eve Resort. The highlight was definitely the staff. Thank you to Clive and Marilyn, and their lovely staff Sheeri, Nitu, Rampati, Shobha and Ram for being so smiley, helpful and welcoming. We were put in a quiet room upon request. The shower was very hot during the sunny days. The bed was very comfortable and the fridge and kettle were a plus. The room was a very decent size with balcony. We had a few issues that the staff quickly resolved. The location is perfect, and very quiet besides some dogs sometimes barking at night. The breakfast is decent. Overall, we would definitely come back to Eve Resort!

The whole package was excellent. Clive and Marilyn, the owners, were wonderful, as were everyone of their staff. The resort was excellent value for money and very clean. The rooms were cleaned every day along with fresh linen and towels.

Great location, two minute walk to beach road, lovely shops and restaurants. The hotel is family run and the owners really looked after me. Great AC and plenty of hot water. My room was spacious and clean. Onsite restaurant with great food.

The cleanest and most comfortable accommodation we stayed in during our India visit. The bathrooms are spotless and modern, and the beds are big and comfortable. Room cleaning every day too. We particularly liked spending the hot parts of the day on our shaded balcony facing the forest. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, as we're all the staff. I would stay again if I am visiting Patnem in the future.

The property is set away from the road a couple of hundred metres from the beach. The communal area of the property are very well maintained as are the rooms. The room I took was very well appointed, super clean, much larger than expected and it had a balcony. Clive down in reception was very helpful, he organised a tuk tuk to the station when I left. I ate in the restaurant and it was very nice and well priced.

The rooms have a balcony but it’s a solid door you have to open so when it’s shut there’s no natural light. Not a problem really as most us don’t spend a lot of time in our rooms when we are away!

The reluctance to allow you to pay for room with credit card

This is the second time we stayed in Eve Resort and we will definitely go back again. Without any doubt Clive and his wive are the best hosts we have had in Patnem. They are always there to help with anything. Also the value for money is excellent for what you get. The staff is very friendly and the location is superb. Hope to come back soon for a longer stay.

Great location, walking distance to Patnem beach and lots of restaurants and cafes around. Very friendly stuff, always willing to help, speak great English. Hot water 24hr, very nice restaurant in the hotel, air conditioning.. highly recommended.
