Phuket 346 Guest House

The cleanliness is very different from the comments given by those 5 stars review. We encountered flooded bath area, many significant stain marks on the wall - room and toilet area. Early in the morning there are things moving on the ceiling creating noise - not sure what is that but I suspect could be mouse running. We stayed before in another guesthouse near by which is 40% cheaper than 346 guesthouse, it is so much more cleaner!! Also 346 guesthouse does not have room cleaning daily - it will only be done upon request, neither the proactiveness of changing towel daily. Though they take action quickly to address to our request / feedback, but a lot of things can be addressed better if they have the proactiveness. In short - this place definitely different from what has been rated by the 5 stars review. Location is good though but many other guesthouses around with equally good location too. Maybe just I am unlucky but quite not a good experience.

Clean room comfy bed , near to night market , staff friendly , all you need for a quick stay

Very central and convenient traditional guesthouse. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean.

It was a great experience with the 346 Guest House. They are placed at the heart of the Phuket Old Town. Very easy to find something to do.

Cute and small hotel in the heart of old town with great staff

Always the best. Whenever I’m in Phuket this is my spot. Very gracious, accommodating, sweet, you name it!

This property was in a great location on a busy tourist street, making it very convenient to experience the city with lots of shops all around. However, this also meant that it was very loud, especially on weekends from 8AM-11PM. We stayed in Glasnost 3 and the room was very large and comfortable. The owners of property were just across the street in their cafe and they were very friendly. When I asked for a hair dryer at 11PM, they delivered it to my room. Their staff also helped to move our luggage up to the second floor (no elevators) and let us store it all day in their cafe after our checkout. The building is also very beautiful and this is a real hidden gem. It’s tremendous value for money, I would recommend this hotel as long as you don’t mind the noise in the morning and at nights.

Just Perfect...

The ladies who maintain both the guesthouse and cafe were simply incredible - Always smiled, always said good morning, even offered an umbrella when they saw me leaving during a storm. Truly a little gem amongst a BUSY scene in Old Town.

-Right in the heart of Phuket town so location is the key -Nice staff -No earlier check-in available had to be after 2pm -Must be the wooden flooring lots mosquitos in the room! Can't believe I got 12 nasty bites over 3nights :(

All the staff were really lovely. The property is very unique and quirky in a good way. (Old Town style house!) It is situated in the center of the Old Town and great location for going anywhere. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The staff at the property were so welcoming and kind when we arrived! The location is great, you are right in old Phuket. If I were to return I would request a room not facing the street - we were travelling with our 7 month baby and because it was the Sunday night market it was quite loud until late (understandably) with the windows/walls not preventing any noise. But if you are planning to be out late anyways then it wouldn’t be a problem!

The staff were absolutely amazing and so caring. This is a great location and very safe as well.

Old Town, man. This old property is amazing. The craftsmanship of the place, and of course the care by the current owners. Makes coming back to Phuket a no call. Just for this place, or other areas in Old Town.

Everything was excellent, everyone is so kind and friendly, I’ll definitely recommend I’ll comeback, very affordable and the room was how it was described with everything you can actually need , comfortable bed. Old town Phuket is beautiful and there is lots of places to shop and eat

The room was spotless. Very clean, very comfortable, very tasteful designed. We were staying in one of the houses with 3 rooms only and there was a leaving room downstairs for joined use. It feels like home. It’s very private. We also had a small outdoor area for private use of our room which was super useful for extra space. The property is located in the center of Old Town Phuket, very close to local bus/tuktuk transportation for all beaches in the area. Tickets are very affordable. There are many coffee shops and dining options around. On my trip lasting 3 months I have visited many places in Asia including China, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and this was far as the best accommodation we had from all perspectives.I would highly recommend this place and would come again.

1 flight of crazy stairs dont have drinks then think you'll make it

The room and bathroom were clean, the big bed, with a window you can see the famous street, the receptionists very nice, friendly and helpful they speak good english, we arrive around 2 am and she was waiting for us. We book 2 separate nights for transit to the island. There is a cafe in the first floor. Very recommended.

Great Location! Room as described. Clean with a nice king size bed. General Sitting area to relax in on the main floor. Would stay there again.

I stayed here 2 nights, the area is very busy but just what Old Phuket town is. I loved it, as I had plans during the day, and would go out at night. The bed was soooo comfortable and the room extremely clean. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they were so kind when I even was running late with checking out. I highly recommend if you are looking for room in the busy center of Phuket.

Très bonne situation. Pas de petit déjeuner.

I stayed here 4 nights. It’s on the cutest street in the town. I actually was not well from something I ate in town and was able to recover in the comfortable bed and am grateful to have found a peaceful place so centrally located. Highly recommend. A

I love the location, the funky decor and vibes. It was quiet, even though you are in the hub. The reception was good.

I had the 'small' room, with seperate shower/wc, which was just perfect for me alone. Everything there what you need. Clean bed, clean room, important. They make a good cappuccino. Friendly staff. Good price. You get a key to hotel and room, can bring a friend. In the morning after 10 some noise from the street, but i slept late so not much of a problem. Would stay again.

Très bon séjour à Phuket ! Super accueil de la part des hôtes. Nous recommandons vivement cette guest house. Idéalement située pour visiter Phuket !

Veldig sentralt, man bor midt i Old Town Phuket. Super plass for ein natt eller to når man skal ha en kort stopp i Phuket by.

Great little spot for the price. It’s a basic room in an old home with own bath, friendly ladies that run the place and the cafe below. Location is great in the middle of old town. If you are looking for a basic, clean place for little money, this won’t disappoint.

Cool spot in old town phuket. Owners and help super sweet. The room is above their cafe. It is cozy and bit dated but has all the neccessary things. Good for solo traveler.

I only stayed for one night. Overall amazing value. Room is small, but it was clean, quaint, safe, and had all the essentials.

Stayed here for my last night in Thailand before a flight and it was a great stay! The staff is so kind I felt so welcome, the location is amazing! & I really appreciated the hot water in the shower, especially after 5 nights at a “resort & spa” in Krabi that the water wouldn’t even get luke warm. Thank you for a great last night!

It’s right in the Heart of Old Town Phuket on Soi Rommanee❤️ staff members were ultra friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay there again when we return to Phuket:)

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, direkt über einem Cafe. Dennoch ruhig (Zimmer 3). Zimmer werden von dem Café angeboten. Sehr liebe, nette, freundliche Inhaberin/Mitarbeiterinnen. Absolute Empfehlung.

We were only in Phuket for one night but enjoyed our stay here. The staff was kind and accomodating and the room was clean. Definitely a good value for the price and it’s on a super cute street.

Very accessible and staff gave a very friendly welcome, which totally recommend

It was a lovely stay. Definitely can recommend it. It’s in the middle of old town. Old charming building, clean, the owners are very friendly and supportive, very good coffee. Only thing: if you need it very calm for sleeping, please bring earplugs - it’s an old building with thin walls and floors.

Friendly and professional checkin. Excellent location, well appointed, stylish and quiet. I would come back and recommend without hesitation.

A great little place above a cafe. Cafe seemed to be open between 9am-6pm, so noise from it never bothered me. Small room, but comfortable, AC worked great and was quiet. Location is outstanding and very walkable. Restaurants, shopping, site seeing all very close and I never had trouble getting a taxi when needed. Staff were outstandingly helpful, Laundry was done for me cheap and quickly, they even called a taxi for me on the last day, getting it at half the price of what I had gotten myself on other occasions. Solo traveler and I never felt unsafe. Excellent value for the price, would do it again. I would not try to drive myself in this area, parking would be exceptionally hard, but sidewalks and taxis make getting around easy.

Thank you to the staff for accommodating our early check in!

Sweet place , comfy bed , but you need to know that you will be wake up by 7.30am as the start to make smoothies & coffe … so can’t sleep

It’s in the heard of the old town .close the everywhere . Staff very nice and helpful. room is little small ,

Great location Great Boss, very central to the old town. Be careful about arriving on Sunday with a car. There's a good carpark 800m away and the staff were good enough to drive me there at my departure.

Friendly staff but outdated room. However for this price it's worth it.

Phuket 346 guest house was wonderful to spend a couple days in! The people were very welcoming and always had a smile on their faces every time I came and went. The room was very comfortable and clean upon arrival.

The property is ideally located in the center of old phuket town. The room.is very clean and quiet. The staff is adorable and so helpful. Definitely recommend!

Nice place in the old town. But construction next door started early and very noisy.

Nearby old Phuket town Good staff, Good location

The staff was so helpful and accommodating with my very late check in! The room was clean and spacious and looked out onto the night market which I enjoyed. There was a bit of street noise which didn’t bother me but I can imagine it may if someone is expecting quiet. Great location and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay when visiting Phuket Town. It’s right next to Thalang Road which is the main street everybody visits and so it’s centrally located. The family that owns the place was very nice and accommodating, highly recommended!

Our stay was great. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Air conditioning was amazing and kept room very cool. Would stay again.

The staff here are so nice and friendly and the location is absolutely perfect for exploring the old town.

We had a short and sweet stay here, just before Chinese New Year - if we'd known. we would have stayed longer, as the New Year celebrations in this town must have been pretty special. The staff at the guest house were so lovely and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and, despite mine facing the street, I got two nights' excellent sleep. The cafe downstairs attracts people all day and serves delicious home-made ice-cream. The street itself is the most charming street in Phuket Town. My only issue is I had to be alert for mosquitoes, but I came prepared, so ultimately this wasn't a big issue. Thoroughly recommend this guesthouse and Phuket Town itself. Would stay again!

Staff was super friendly and readily available. Be aware that the room (Glasnost 3) that we stayed in faces the street and the windows are not paned, so you will be hearing all the street bustle outside, but does calm down by 11pm. If you're a very light sleeper, ask for a room facing the back instead. This place is located on a charming street off from the main shopping area and completely walkable to everywhere. We got there on the weekend, and on Sunday afternoon, the main street closes off where you can access the Weekend Market.
