Reviewed Nov 24, 2025Resumen: Su dueña Milena nos sacó del hotel a las 10 de la noche con una bebé de 3 años por preguntarle acerca del desayuno del hotel (Persona no Grata, inhumana) Ninguna persona debería visitar este Hotel. Entablaré acciones legales en contra de este establecimiento el cual debe ser censurado por Booking por la gravedad de los hechos. El hotel queda a 8 cuadras del parque con calle sin asfalto, el parqueadero queda en un lote abandonado.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Loved the location, was easy to walk to the main part of Villa de Leyva. The bed was HUGE, felt like a super king size which was great to have. It was a nicely set out room, simple and effective essentially.
Noise in the morning a little bit but nothing too bad. I think this is a great location for people to stay. I think we saw the staff only once at the front desk while we were there. Though everything was easy.

Reviewed Nov 22, 2023What a wonderful little hotel. The room with balcony was just amazing. Spaceful and with charm. The whole house is very beautiful built in the classic colonia style. Everything was absolutely clean and the housekeeper and the owner were just lovely, friendly and very open. The location it’s perfect, in a very quiet street and only five minutes away from bus terminal and the main plaza. If I come back to Villa de Leyva, it will be definitely in Hotel villa Palmas. Lovely accommodation. Keep the good work.

We could see that we got 2 of the best rooms of the hotel ( nice views and balcony) , a room next to ours had only a window pointing the hotel corridor. So better to ask before or go for the premium ones ( not a big price difference) . We did not really like the taxi driver recommended by the hotel to visit the Periquera Cascades , car in bad shape and overpriced. Better to negotiate directly with the white cabs located in front of the bus terminal.
