Made famous by the Amazing hotels Beyond The Lobby TV Series and recommended by our luxury travel agent, Wimeya Private Travel, the resort absolutely delivered against our high expectations. We stayed 4 nights and loved everything
I booked a stay at Nusfjord Village and Resort for my parents because I wanted them to experience one of the most special places we have here in Lofoten, where I live. From the moment they arrived, everything was just perfect. The service was excellent – the staff were so welcoming and helpful with anything we asked or needed. My parents were absolutely blown away by how stunning Nusfjord is, how cozy and charming the cottages are, and how amazing the food was. Thank you so much for creating such a memorable stay for them. We’ll definitely be coming back!
It’s wildly challenging to put into words how lovely this respect was. The location, the views, the atmosphere were all phenomenal and the staff made you feel like you were visiting someone’s home. We stayed in one of the fisherman’s cottages that was more private and away from the village were day tourists can walk through. Our accommodation was very comfortable. The cough was cozy, the balcony was marvelous and the kitchen was well stocked ( one bed likely needs an updated mattress but that may just be me being particular). The meals were all something to write home about (highly recommended the onsite pizza restaurant and cafe as well). Already planning another stay
We stayed two nights at the end of our Lofoten vacation at Nusfjord and it was really nice! The Pizza and Restaurant had a nice selection of good food, the breakfast was really good with a lot of options and the staff also really friendly.
We had high expectations of Nusfjord Resort…and it didn’t let us down! It was the perfect end to our two week trip to Norway. The cabin was sensational with the most amazing views over the fjord…everything was perfect. The team at reception were so welcoming and helpful and were key to us getting to see the Northern Lights! We would definitely recommend Nusfjord, and we’ll be going back!
Absolute wow. Beautiful setting fantastic staff and incredible nature. A unique holiday experience in this UNESCO site.
Absolutely phenomenal hotel. We were in a cozy cocoon there in the tiny village of Nusfjord. Incredibly comfortable rooms, cozy beds, heated floors. We also enjoyed really wonderful massages, the sauna and ocean plunge and the amazing restaurants. We did not want to leave! Thanks to the Nusfjord staff.
The property is well appointed. The main restaurant where breakfast was served was excellent. The bar and lounge overlooking the water was also nice. Service was professional but in certain regards a bit inflexible. I told the front desk that the mattress was exceedingly soft and needed to be replaced or a support placed under it. I don’t think much of an attempt was made to do anything about this.
Beautiful structure in a very quiet corner of Lofoten Islands. We stayed in a Superior Cabin beautifully furnished and organised. The view was outstanding. The restaurant Karoline for dinner and breakfast was amazing, with very good vegetarian options too. We hope we will come back to experience such peace and nature that only Lofoten can offer.
We LOVED our stay at Njusfjord! With the exception of the check in process in the pouring rain with not a lot of direction on where to park, the remaining 4 nights and 5 days were absolute perfection. RIB tour with Eduardo, massage with Alena and the wait staff (Birgit etc.) who were so attentive and back to the front desk who helped direct us on our travels all over Lofoten, we couldn’t pick a better place to land. The cabin was beautifully decorated in a Norwegian style. We love embracing the architecture and interiors of places where we travel and our cabin was beautifully appointed. The bedding was like sleeping in a soft cloud. And the food! It was incredible. At Karoline, the pizza, the bakery. We will be back! One of the few places we’ve visited where we want to return. And we live in California…so it’s quite the journey but well worth it!
We arrived in torrential rain before the check in time. There was minimal help given in regard to being able to park our rental car without being soaked. When we did eventually have access to our cabin we found it to be absolutely soulless and drab. The single beds in our room were very narrow. The furniture and fittings were very basic. The only redeeming feature of this location is the Karoline restaurant where we had lunch once it was open and dinner, both of which were really good, and the local bakery where we had coffee the next morning. Whilst I understand the desire to present authenticity in the outside appearance and the setting of the accommodation we had this should not excuse making the accommodation suitable for those on holiday. Not that this was a primary consideration for us but this property is hugely overpriced and extremely poor value. Any mark given is solely because the food was good. Avoid!
Know what you’re getting into this is a very basic accommodation, with corrugated metal sheet ceilings. I had a “Harbour Cabin Suite” which did it actually face the harbour, but the parking lot in the back. The vibe is “rustic” and too expensive for the very basic room. There is very little space in the bathroom for toiletries or hanging towels and there is only glass on one side of the shower so inevitably water sprays everywhere on the bathroom walls and floor. It was too expensive for the low standard of the room overall. As previous reviewers have said there are many tourists just strolling in front of your window. If you’re used to modern sleek comfortable accommodations (there really is only henninsvaer brygghotel in Lofoten which is actually luxury) this isn’t for you (or me..!). If you must stay somewhere south (between Leknes and Å) then stay here for only one night. Karolina restaurant is okay.
This place is unique and magic! We stayed at cabin #22 practically on the water. Private and peaceful with amazing views. Super cute and historic bakery and several options for dining and light meals. Thank you to Micaela for a warm welcome at the reception!
Beautiful village with charming cottages and stunning views, at least for the premium ones. Unfortunately, the accommodation was not as clean as expected for over $1,500 per night. We found dirty dishes, a previous guest’s dirty sock under a bed, non-working utilities, and power sockets falling out of the wall. The restaurant was outstanding. Dinner at Hotel Karolina was superb, and breakfast was excellent. The pizza place was underwhelming, largely due to an apathetic staff member. The pizzas are probably fine normally, but ours were not. Overall, this is very expensive mid-tier accommodation in a quaint historic fishing village. Stay for the views and the restaurant, but look elsewhere if you want true luxury.
Perfect and peaceful retreat. Out of this world. Simple luxury
Wonderful place. Actually the best we experienced in Lofoten. Great decor, very cozy atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant. Very quiet. Unfortunately quite expensive ;-)
We had the pleasure of going on a fishing trip with a very nice crew. They assisted us in every way with knowledge and practical help. I had invited family from abroad who had never picked up a fishing rod. Everyone who was on the trip caught fish, and everyone gave undivided positive feedback. It couldn't have been a nicer trip. Recommended
One of the coziest and nicest small hotels we have ever stayed. Super appropriate for the place. Perfectly blends with the environment. So many details around. Became an important part of our experience and our whole Lofoten trip.
If you like somewhere new and different to visit then Nusfjord is the place for you. The location is absolutely stunning and the cabins are furnished to a very high standard while preserving the classic features. Other reviews have noted the lack of wardrobe space or drawers and I think that is something for the team to consider as this would avoid the need to live out of packing cubes or a suitcase. This issue was very minor though and otherwise the attention to detail was impeccable. The housekeeping team were very helpful and provided plenty of new towels and coffee pods etc. The wifi works extremely well in all parts of the resort. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations in the cafe, restaurant and pizza tavern. There is also a newly opened bar with live music which is a great addition. The bartender makes great gimlet cocktails! There may be limited vegetarian options in the restaurant if you are staying for a few nights but the wine list is incredible! There is also a lounge upstairs from the restaurant which has the same beautiful view. The interior decoration is fabulous in Karoline restaurant and the cafe and the traditional features are very well preserved. The bakery is also very attractive and sells delicious traditional cakes. The team in the pizza restaurant are very helpful and accommodating and make very authentic Italian pizzas. The weather is understandably variable and unfortunately this meant that the hotel had to cancel some of the outdoor activities that we had pre-booked. It is quite tricky to navigate the island without a car so it may be worth the hotel considering a partnership with some local tour companies so that visitors can see some of the rest of the island. We booked our own tour but it was quite difficult to book one at short notice that would do pick up and drop off from Nusfjord. The island is so beautiful that it would be a shame to miss out on visiting some other beautiful villages and beaches. It is possible to do some short hikes from the resort to a lake and also a lighthouse but the ground can get very muddy if it has been raining (which is likely!). We were not brave enough to tackle the walk to Nesland which I think would need dry conditions. The hotel can arrange transfers to the airport and these were very efficient and the drivers were very friendly and helpful and provided us with a lot of information. Leknes airport is very small and does not have a cafe!
We stayed in house no. 39 (front right in the photo), slightly elevated and set back, simply marvellous. Nusfjord was a unique and very special experience, the highlight of our entire round trip. Exceptionally good 3-course menu ‘Taste of Lofoten’ in the Karoline restaurant.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. As someone with no fishing experience, I appreciated how they patiently taught me the easiest way to fish — and it worked! We ended up catching a lot of fish and had so much fun. It was such a memorable and unique experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nusfjord!
These cabins were beautiful and had room for us to move around. They had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Heated floors in the bathrooms. Beautiful decor. Lotions and soaps. It was really a classy place. It was my favorite place we stayed while in Norway. The restaurant was also really nice with great food.
The resort is beautiful and like a post-card. Dreamy. The rooms are amazing with good amenities. The beds super comfortable. The Sauna and Hot Tub are free if you stay in certain rooms which was an added bonus. I stayed in a traditional Rorbuer which is a must. David at the front desk exceptional. My only feedback would be the food options are limited (especially if you are vegetarian). However, the breakfast is unreal. I would also suggest a signature smell for the rooms.
Wonderful location at Nusfjord, and a wonderful breakfast included in the accommodation price. There are not really other options. Also free EV charging is available. I couple of minor disappointing elements, such as coffee/tea cups being too small and hot water coming out of the cold tap in the evenings. We explored the surrounding area thoroughly, which we would highly recommend.
Loved staying here for a few nights while passing through Norway. Beautiful area and interesting buildings, quirky and cosy with excellent food to go with it. We were lucky with the weather- snowed every morning and the sun out through the day, just perfect. Oh, and the northern lights show was the best I’d ever seen, stunning.
Our favourite hotel in Lofoten. This old fisherman village has been beautifully restored and the scenery is magnificent. Excellent restaurant with good service. Friendly and useful staff. Very good experience. Interesting activities from the hotel, hiking, fishing, RIB tour…
This place is fantastic, so if you are visiting Lofoten, book at least one night in this small village. The breakfast, pizza and the bakery buns…wow! We will go back to Lofoten, and this place is on the list to revisit. We had to leave one day early due to illness, but we said on the way back home that this is top 3 for us compared to other hotels that we have visited round the world.
very new condition and beautiful surrounding
Beautiful experience. Felt like stepping into the magic. For a couple of days we forgot about our life outside of Lofoten islands and we could immerse into a life of a Norvegian fisherman village. Of course, we do realize, it is a resort and our stay was extremly comfortable and cannot even be compared to what Norvegian fisherman must have lived in their lives. Nevertheless, as a tourist, I could enjoy that the reception was in one house, our cabin was a bit further away, spa was past the harbour, restaurant in the middle of the village. Walking around, having things to do, really made me feel like I am "living" in that village. I think that it's amazing what Nusfjord village and resort has done with this place, preserving the fisherman village, and providing a piece of this romanticised life to tourists like us. Also, the activities we tried were 10/10 - sauna experience and fishing trip were truly well organized and because we were out of season, it felt super private. And if you can, please get the breakfast. The best breakfast I have had and could just go back for it alone.
This place is sooo beautiful. We loved every single corner of the cabin and knowing the history of these cabins which were originally used by the fishermen made it extra meaningful! The cabin has everything we needed. Breakfast spread was good as well. Will highly recommend!!
We absolutely loved the Nusfjord Resort - it was most magical experience made all the more special for a wonderful display of Northern Lights. Our harbour facing cabin was lovely and the meals delicious. I very much hope to be back in the not too distant future
Alles exellent.
We had been and stayed at the Nusfjord Resort back in 2020 for 11 nights and it was so beautiful, untouched. The staff were wonderful and all in all had a fantastic holiday and loads of memories. On our return this time we stayed elsewhere and paid a day visit to Nusfjord. The resort was what we remembered, stunning, picturesque, and magical BUT as we wanted to walk towards the Lighthouse at the far end we passed a sign saying NO PARKING AND PAY HERE.... We walked over to ask why we had to pay as we never paid this on our last visit, INFACT there was no charge to walk around and to the public path which links the Lighthouse to NESLAND and coastal walk. The charge was 100 Nok (£7) which I didn't pay and vacated the area and visited other stunning Locations. Unfortunately over many years a lot of areas including Nusfjord are reaping extra money by charging to walk towards and join a public footpath and the FREEDOM TO ROAM. Don't get me wrong I have no problem paying but it's the principle of it. In one area close by the charge to park by paying through an APP was 247 NOK (£17.16). Lofoten is a beautiful place BUT it has changed from over 10 years visiting. ITS A REAL SHAME....
Mooie ligging, goed en gevarieerd ontbijt, stijlvolle inrichting en heerlijke sauna/ hottubes.
Our 3 night stay in Comfort Cabin 4 was a fantastic experience. The cabin was in a lovely location and had everything needed for a comfortable warm stay. From the minute we arrived to the transfer back to the airport, the interaction with staff was first class. Friendly, informative and relaxed, they made our stay even more enjoyable. We ate at Karoline Restaurant where the food was delicious, although adding wine to the meal made it very expensive ( but our choice!). The breakfasts were generous buffet style and again everything was very tasty. We spent time in the cafe and pizzeria, again lovely spaces to relax with a hot chocolate or beer. Unfortunately during our stay the Northern Lights were elusive (too cloudy!) and trips on both nights were cancelled. However we enjoyed our kayaking and walking in the area. An added bonus was Nusfjord village itself with the buildings restored to show and inform about it’s historical past. Great scenery, fabulous staff and overall an excellent few days away celebrating birthdays. Thank you to all those at Nusfjord who made this happen. Would love to return again and perhaps see ‘the Lights’!
This is one amazing hotel, from the moment you walk into the reception and are met by friendly helpful staff it just gets better. The rooms, the food and the tours were all brilliant. We had about 100mm fresh snow every morning so the photography was spectacular. Walking around the village you start to understand how these villages worked in the early days, yet the rooms are all warm and cosy. We will be back probably in the winter again as it is so beautiful at this time. The best moment was probably being shown the northern lights. Once you start to understand them they are a real joy to see. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a wonderful trip.
Overall ok
This is a simply sensational hotel. From the moment we arrived until we departed, the entire team could not have done more to make our time in Lofoten as magical as it was. The team on the rib tour and on the Northern Lights tour went above and beyond to help make memories that will last forever. Amazing cabins provide absolute luxury and all the staff are a real credit to the hotel. We will be back!!
It was our first time exploring Lofoten and Nusfjord, and we were completely blown away with the whole resort - the area and scenery are breathtaking. On arrival, we were checked in prior to the specified time and told we had been upgraded, which was appreciated. The cabins are sympathetically designed to mix old and new, retaining original features and adding to the understated luxury of the resort - only critique was lack of storage in our room - limited places to hang clothes or store suitcases. Beds were soft and comfortable and bathroom exuded spa-like luxury with underfloor heating, fluffy towels, waterfall shower and high-end toiletries. We loved being able to lay in bed listening to the gentle lap of the waves underneath the cabin, or watch the world go by out of the front window - there was no need for a tv. Again the theme of old and new colliding is also echoed in the uniquely preserved ex-working cabins across the resort - the boathouse, smithy and smokehouse all retain original charm however are a reminder of the roots of the area and the important role of fishing across the islands, and there are plenty to explore. Eating was also pleasurable - we ate at Caroline and Oriana for evening meals, and the on site cafe for light lunches - Oriana predominantly serving pizza, Caroline a varied menu of Norwegian/local dishes, and the cafe serving a small selection of sandwiches and traditional fish soup - which was delicious. One small critique was the lack of food options on our arrival day - following a few hours of travelling, we headed to the cafe to be told the only items available were soups (fish and the veggie option) and they had ran out of sandwiches (at 2pm). There are no other food options in resort during the day so this was a disappointing first impression. We also noticed Oriana had one member of staff operating the restaurant the night we visited, and although no issues with wait times or food quality, it did feel a stretch based on the covers and tasks required, and ensuring all guests we catered to. Breakfast was a traditional Scandinavian affair with plenty of options including delicious Nusfjord cured salmon, and of course, the view from the restaurant at breakfast sublime - we were lucky enough to have a seat next to the panoramic windows on one of our visits. The spa was a great advantage, and on both occasions, we had full use of both hot tubs and sauna to ourselves. This was a great way to unwind and take in the view across the ocean and nearby mountains. Unfortunately both tours we attempted to book onto were cancelled due to weather conditions so can’t comment on these, however could have only enhanced our experience more. Overall our stay in Nusfjord was magical and it’s somewhere we’d love to return to. It’s also evident the site is geared for growth - it would be great to see some collaboration with local craft retailers, pop-up exhibitions and, potentially some intimate acoustic concerts to further enhance the experience, however in the meantime we’re more than happy with our experience and memories made during our visit.
This is my second time in this hotel , i wasnt really happy with the service ,First they told us to park by the top parking lot ,which we did ( the parking lot has no light at all and my wife slip and fall) but the worst was after we came down to the cabin ,we saw a dozen cars park here and there ,i felt discriminate ,that i had to park up there and the rest no ,as the rule should be enforce to every guest .i call the same night ,to the number ,because no reception was there and the man was rude ! .the second day ,when i came back to the cabin ,i noticed that the curtains were closed and the inside doors ,so i figured the did beds ,guess what no beds were done and the toilet paper was used while we were gone for the day ! After i check out i told the girl in the reception ,but she had no explanation
Love this lodging - it was off season and I was one of the only guests. The staff treated me like royalty. The village is charming - the rooms are modern, clean and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Would not stay anywhere else in Lofoten!
We really enjoyed our stay at Nusfjord and hope we get to come back someday. I don't think we've ever stayed somewhere as charming or peaceful. The location is in the middle of nowhere - but that is what makes the place so special. It's good for exploring the southern part of Lofoton; it took us 1:45 to Svolvaer for our sea eagle safari. The harbor makes this place and keeps the weather calmer than if we were more exposed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. They went above and beyond when our bag did not make it onto the plane to Leknes and they retrieved it for us when it arrived. We did the sea kayaking excursion with Eduardo and he and the activity were both wonderful - it one of the most beautiful things we've ever done. He brought frozen herring in case he spotted a sea eagle (we didn't that day) and took pictures of the two of us in action. They provide dry suits which kept us comfortable for the ~2 hour duration of the activity. We stayed in one of the suite cabins right on the harbor (with the docks) and we recommend one of those rooms as it's a very short walk to the restaurants/general store. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean; it is a "cabin" but seemed newly built or just pristinely renovated. Nespresso machine and mini fridge with beverages in the room. You don't have to walk far away from the village (or just to the highpoint above the harbor) to get a good view of the northern lights away from light pollution. We ate at the pizza restaurant 3 out of the 4 nights because the gluten free crust was delicious and it was a very cozy setting.
We were a group of four traveling in December. We stayed in a cabin overlooking the water. Two rooms had huge beds, while the third "room" was really an attic with slanted walls and four single mattresses on the floor. This was not what we expected and the cabins do seem to vary, so don't depend entirely on the photos you see. Our cabin was beyond a very steep hill, slightly far from the main area. This made it quieter, but also was less convenient. To our surprise our cabin had a washer/drier. We had contacted the resort in advance inquiring about laundry, and they told us there would not be any facilities. There was also a gas fireplace, but no instructions on how to use it, so we had to figure that out on our own. SAUNA: The spa treatments were fully booked in advance, so we were not able to enjoy any of them, and the snow and rain was so intense that we skipped the outdoor sauna. FOOD: We tried all three restaurants: one only serves pizza, one is a cafe, and one is a proper restaurant. All were good, but the restaurant was expensive. We loved the free breakfast – many options and vegetarian friendly. We wished we had brought our own food and more medicine. Some of us caught colds and they didn't sell any meds on premise. We also didn't know our cabin would be stocked with some alcohol and snacks, but we skipped these to avoid high prices. WEATHER: At times the weather was so severe that we couldn't even drive to the store 15-20 minutes away to get food or medicine (some of us got sick). We were also surprised that the resort did not sprinkle very much gravel or salt on the icy roads and walkways. Many of us were slipping around and falling on the black ice. EXCURSION: We had booked the RIB safari tour. There wasn't much information about this, but they give you a full waterproof body suit to wear over your clothing, along with boots and goggles if you want them. The waves were a bit dangerous, so our tour was cut short. We were told it's be about 1.5 hrs, but it was only about 30-40 minutes. No partial refund was provided. We did, however see eagles, so that was cool. AURORA: On our third day, the skies cleared and we had a wonderful northern lights sighting, so it was all worth it. It lasted a couple hours and we felt very lucky.
Beautiful property with historical and quaint atmosphere
Stunning location and property. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin could do with a little bit kore lighting however, especially around the sink area and coffee area. Would also be an added bonus if a little helfup guide on fishing from the pier was included too either in the cabin or shop (great they have cheap [£40-50] rods for sale too).
The property has made a tremendous effort to preserve and restore this beautiful fishing village. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and dinner in the restaurant.
This resort is very comfortable and a quiet place to stay. The rooms are well laid out and the beds and bathrooms extremely nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast that was included in our stay offered many varieties of meats, fruits, breads and salads. We would highly recommend.
Stunning location and view. Cabins perfect. Food was beautiful.
Nusfjord was a wonderful stay in the absolutely stunning Lofoten Islands.
Absolutely beautiful property set in the most spectacular of settings. The food and service were exquisite. A must stay if visiting the Lofoten Islands. We will be back for the Northern Lights.
A beautiful spot on Lofoten. Views and comfort are top notch art this resort. A magical experience.
Superbe complexe. Cocooning .
Stayed only one night during our 4-day tour of Lofoten, wish we had more time here. Lovely resort, quiet, many amenities we didn't get to appreciate given our short stay. Would definitely go back. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were wonderful. Thanks!
Un des meilleurs hôtels des Lofoten…
We stayed three nights. Very nice and cute cabin. Cozy bed. No TV and air condition. Beautiful old fishing village. Two restaurants, altough we couldn’t get pizza at all because first time the owen was broken and second time they run out of pizza. Menu at the other restaurant was quite limited and includes whale meat which I personally can’t accept. Seaguls kept quite a noice but it didn’t bother our nights. Nice and helpful staff.
Beautifully maintained property with low ceilings not suitable for folks 6 foot and taller and challenging parking. Unique experience.
Wonderful Resort
This is the most wonderful place to stay in Lofoten. Nusfjord is small, quiet and unbelievably beautiful. The rooms are wonderful, cozy and warm and the staff are really exceptionally well trained and friendly. I would stay here for a month if I could.
Excellent rorbur to stay in such a nice fishermen village. Everything is in the details, lots of charme and very kind employees only worried to make your stay a must. I recommend very strongly to siendo at least one night and enjoy a pleasant dinner in the wonderful restaurant
A very pleasant stay the individual cottages were lovely, clean and well stocked. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the spa area overlooking the ocean was well done. Just let down by eco contributions, no sign to alert to happy to re use towels ect.
Nusfjord is a small fishing village between Leknes and Reine and perfect to stay at to discover areas like Flakstad or Fredvang. The Nusfjord Arctic Resort cabins are right at the harbor, have all the amenities one needs and greet you with a homey feeling when you first arrive. The sauna and the ability to see the northern lights right outside your cabin are a great plus! Looking forward to my next stay at Nusfjord Arctic Resort.
Stuff rude
On reviendra surement !!!!
A quiet village and good for couples travelling. Overall experience was great!
So quaint , peaceful and quiet!! staff so friendly and helpful, I dropped my car key between deck slats and the staff was trying to help me( I found the key in low tide next day and it worked!) by letting me use their phones to call hertz to helping me look in the water for the key. Beautiful hikes up to mountains minutes from resort.
WOW WOW WOW.... This is the coolest place we have ever stayed... You are living in the middle of a museum. Everything is so wonderfully preserved and updated in this rorbuer from the authentic wooden doors, stove and extremely comfortable bed/bathroom, to the hot tub/sauna, gallery and restaurants. You are taken back in time but have every modern convenience. It's truly incredible and worth every penny.
Fantastiskt fina Lofoten ! Underbar miljö att vistas på . Härlig stuga och , god mat!
Beautiful spot and sauna. I didn’t like when I checked in. I asked what room we were in. The check in person said 29. I wrote it down in front of her on my map. She saw. Turns out we were in room 23. Her passive behavior or passive aggressive behavior whatever it was was unappreciated as we wandered unnecessarily.
Beautiful area with cabins right over the sea. Great food and friendly, helpful staff
Service top! Unterkunft so schön eingerichtet.
Stunning location and total luxury. Wish to return to this beautiful little village one day.
One of the greatest accomodation ever. A huge recommendation and especially room for four was perfect and enjoyable. Bedroom with own bathroom and the interior was eleganteimmista. Only negative point was a few waiters in Karoline restaurant which were quite unfriendly. Luckily we got once a proficient young man waitres. Anyway the food was wonderfull and whole Village awsome.
It is just the best of all lofoten, a place to wind down to enjoy great food and be close to the greatest hikes. The staff was so helpfull and we cant wait to be back
Very pretty place with awesome staff. Rooms are in good condition and super comfy.
The Ice House room we were in was more like a luxury apartment, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The people from the reception to the restaurant, which was fabulous, were all extraordinary. The setting was historic and quaint and gorgeous. We loved the entire experience!
