Before booking here look at all other options. This place is very expensive for what you get. We paid NZD 100 per night for one of their new rooms. It is small but clean and tidy. No tea coffee milk etc is provided. One micro sized soap bar was provided. No ice, drinks of any sort or restaurant services available on site. Reception only available between 2pm and 5pm. Location is not on the beach as implied. It is a very steep long walk to the beach. The shower is very weak. We had safety concerns as when you switch the hot water on the lights dimmed. It seems that the electric water heater may have a safety problem. There are also lots of mosquitoes, these are a real problem. With dengue fever and malaria in the region one must take special care. There are also no other facilities on site such as a pool, bar, deck, etc. It's a very basic setup at a very high price.
The potential is huge, but bungalowes are really to old and comunal areas not as they must be ther is a point view to the bay not a seat the floor is all broke. The owner of this acomodation must be punish and find. He owns a fantadtic spot nice quiet area, walk to a great beach Yanui, to a temple light house with amazing sunset view. A super cool bar just 60 metter away if going via garden and jumping fence But is no charm no hommy no idea take away from that owner. Now.
So quiet and peaceful. Actually feels like you are no where near a city
mosy chill eoven bungalow with plumbing and a fan. so quiet to rest. comfortable. essy going. great location. near the sunset phnom . and the beach is do vlose to walk. rent kayak for an jour. so chill.
Отличное место. Территория - будто живешь в заповеднике. Цветущие деревья и птицы поют. Мы жили в бунгало с кондиционером. Очень хорошее постельное белье и удобные матрасы. Рекомендую
Never stayed at a bungalow before... I'm a resort type of person. But this stay opened my mind to simple and yet surreal stay. So quiet and peaceful. Can do all the active stuff out in the city and return to the bungalow to sit at our balcony and talk about our day over beer or coffee was awesome! I'd definitely book it again!
We are thankful to M. Chin and his family to maintain the environment around Naya bungalows green and pristine. The Bungalows are built on a hill in a forest, trees and plants are preserved. The amenities are minimalistic, but very comfortable because the windows keep the breeze active and there is nothing more wonderful than listening to the Andaman sea waves during the night and the birds waking you up in the morning.
What a great quiet place to get away from the hustle and tourists. Everything close rent a scooter was a great way to save time on the hilly terain. You want a Quiet little beach away from the zoo of tourists, traffic jams...go here
This place was amazing. It was simple and perfect for relaxation. One of the best beaches in the area is just down the hill about 5 min walk. You don’t need AC, I barely even used the fan!
I really liked the location which was near an excellent beach and one of the top views. There was an excellent an very modern restaurant called sommers which also had remarkable views. The bungalows themselves had all the essentials and were cleaned up by staff daily. The tropical suite and trees on the grounds were also a plus.
Die Rezeption war leider nur teilweise besetzt, aber telefonisch erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich. Ein paar Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar, leider nach Sonnenuntergang schon geschlossen.
The bungalows are basic, but super clean, sheets and cleaning daily, reception was extremely helpful with all our needs requests
Wonderful small hotel with individual bungalows. I stayed in one of the white newer ones which was lovely. Had AC but not sure the older bungalows do. Short walk to a lovely beach and a few restaurants but it is uphill on the way back. I definitely would stay again. I was away during the day and had sliding doors closed with AC on, but there is a gin range nearby and you hear shots for a considerable amount of time during the day. Did not bother me.
Très bien
Great views and bungalow. The busy road down to beach/restaurants made dangerous walking. Shame they have outside dining. But don’t sell drinks coffee water etc. would like to see this.
I did like the Bungalow, the bed wasn't the most comfortable, the ceiling fan was running the wrong direction (pulling air up and not blowing down), and there was no hot water for the shower. However, for the price and the location, it is quite nice. I would probably reserve one of the nicer units with air conditioning and hot water next time though. Overall would still recommend if you just want a clean, budget friendly place to sleep and you don't mind the warm weather and cold showers 👍
We upgraded to the newer, air-conditioned cottages, which are clean, modern, and comfortable. The original bungalows are sweet, but we needed a break from the heat! The resort is beautifully treed, surrounded by well-kept grounds, set high in the canopy. It's well-run by friendly and helpful staff; Manager Grace has been incredibly helpful in providing information and arranging transport for our day trips and evenings out. The nearest beach, Yanui, is easily walkable but quite busy, particularly on the weekend. The town of Yanui provides restaurants, laundry, scooter rental, and other services. In the other direction, it's a short uphill walk to Phromtep Cape, with its spectacular views and and cultural import. Near the Cape you will find Summore Day Cafe, a modern restaurant with air-conditioned indoor area and massive decks for watching the sunset. The Cafe is surrounded by beautiful Japanese-inspired gardens, which can be explored at leisure. The fusion menu is limited, but the food is excellent! Nai Harn beach (our favourite so far in Phuket), with restaurants and other services steps away, is a short (200THB) taxi or tuktuk ride away. Rawai is just a 20 minute walk away (30 minutes to the seafood market). From Rawai, tours and boat trips to nearby islands are easily accessible.
Very helpful staff. Good stay.
If you're looking for a quiet get away, this is a perfect spot. The staff were curtious and helpful. I arrived from Chiang Mai with the only flight options being to arrive at 9am or 11pm. Since I arrived in the early morning, they let me check in immediately since the room was already open. The rooms are basic but clean. They have a ceiling fan but can still get warm. The rooms have a deck which was perfect for sitting down and relaxing in the evening. The beach is just a short 3 walk away down the hill. Two restaurants with Russian/Ukrainian food was available within walking distance. Anything else would require a motorbike rental or a taxi with the later being somewhat expensive.
Phuket experience overall was great – the market, the temples, the food, nightlife and activities etc. Accommodation, however, was nothing but disappointment, kind of a scar on the face... The couple hosting us were unpleasant and rather rude, especially the male host who on several occasions demostrated a very poor customer service and with limited manners. Room was untidy, and we had feeling that someone else slept in the bed prior our arrival. Also, the water in the shower was dripping and the pipes under the bungalow were in a very poor condition – leaking all the time. Internet connection terrible. When we wanted to rent a car, the couple tried to scam us by convincing us that we MUST leave our original passports with the dealer. Never heard of such a thing!!! Bungalows are very old, out of the shape and indeed quaint, and not in a pleasant way but rather very strange, unusual, and incongruous in its appearance. Plus, if for the past years the place has only 26 reviews, people can judge themselves how disappointing the place actually is. NOT RECOMMENDING!
basic clean bungalow in lovely setting - a bit out of the way so transport required - great stay
Grace was amazing in setting up our late night check in. Communication prior to our arrival was initiated by the hotel which was nice. Bungalow is basic but that’s what you’re signing up for. The room was very very clean. Will definitely stay here again.
That’s the best beach of Phuket. It was nice beach. And the receptionist talks very good English. Totally natural place so you will here the bats voice midnight. We arrange it from the hotel directly so they are not using booking.com
This place is very incredible 💛 Love this place because there has a good ocean view point where you can see the cozy ‘Yanui Beach’ 🏖 we can walk only a couple minutes to the beach where you can swimming, snorkeling and having some food over there. And also you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset of Thailand by walking to the ‘Promthep cape’ no need to drive a car to there because very difficult to find the parking area especially at the sunset time.
Peaceful joyful all in one.Beach is near, restorant as we'll.Some shops on top of the hill:)You have here everything what you need,if you come to have rest out of full days of work:)Rent a bike and everything is sorted.Enjoy,I strongly recommend this place
My husband and I were looking for some quiet accommodation following a rowdy few nights in the hustle and bustle. Grace was very helpful via email; she booked us a last minute room, answered all of my questions and kindly waited for us after hours when we got caught in traffic. We were welcomed with a soft drink and given some tips for our stay. We stayed in a superior room; the facilities were basic but clean - exactly what we were after. The only complaint - the streetlights &/or the exterior bungalow light, which are directly opposite the room, kept my husband awake. We had to hang a blanket across the window as the curtains were thin and did not close completely. The location is nice. I would suggest hiring a scooter if you wish to explore. We attempted to walk to Nai Harn Beach but it's mostly uphill and in the hot weather (and being pregnant!) it wasn't ideal. Luckily, we were rescued by a lovely Burmese man who gave us a ride on his bike. We hired a moped from one of the beachside shops at Nai Harn for a mere 300 THB. This made our stay a lot easier. We didn't see another hotel guests whilst we were there, so it was very quiet, except for the occasional dog bark and the wonderful sound of nature. Naiya Beach Bungalow do not serve dinner but the breakfast is good and good value for money. There are some restaurants close by or you can venture into town. Yanui beach, a small beach with less tourists than the more popular beaches, is a stones throw and the water is calmer than at Nai Harn. Overall a pleasant stay.
Simple, quiet and peaceful place to stay with family, couple of minutes walk from small and cosy Yanui beach, which is good place for snorkelling. Should rent motorbike or car to get moving, because its a bit away from Naiharn and Rawai.
Awesome!, Fantastic the bungalows are beautiful , mine had a fantastic breeze and was really cute, the beach below is the best nice and quiet and stunning, went snorkelling everyday and the two restaurants down at the beach are awesome too, all round the best place to stay at Phuket if you like Thailand how it used to be
Sitting on the veranda and listening to the birds and gekkos is the best think in the world. The bungalows are basic but very clean. Naiya Beach is a few walking minutes away and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
The location of the bungalows is very good, away from the big resorts - ideal for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The bungalows are very sweet, very clean and cosy. The staff is exceptional - welcoming and helpful The beach is small, but in my opinion the best in Phuket! I would not have chosen any other place to stay on the island
Great place, just 3 min from the beach with a great view. The best way to escape the crowded parts of the island. Basic ( no hot water) and a car or motorbike is recommended but nice. Also try ni massage if you are in that area.
Simple but very good location. Near small Ya Noi Beach and probably one of the best restaurants on the Phuket -Promthep Cape Restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. It is only one place on Phuket Island to recomendet for holiday.
Experienced traveller prefer to stay at Naiya Beach Bungalow at Promthep Cape. There is natural and tropical in design. Very good place for relaxing. Romantic atmosphere. The bungalow is located on the hillside within walk distance to Phromthep Cape and Yanui beach where are very famous for beautiful natural surroundings and not far from Nai-Harn beach. Especially cleanliness of the bungalow. They are cleaning the room everyday and also the people very nice.
This was so great place - peace, beautiful view, very cosy and authentic bungalows, very friendly and helpfull staff, very good location. Just 1 minute to one of the best and cleanest beaches in Pukhet. Of course, here were some "friends" (small gecos) in the bungalow, but after first night we dont seen them anymore. And don't afraid of cold water in the shower - it is not freazing, but very refreshing in this tropic weather. We love this place and sugest this nice bungalow to everybody!
We find this awesome place driving around the island. The "resort" had everything we needed. Very, very clean rooms, quiet garden, view , beach in minutes! This treasure spot is an excellent value for money. Super friendly owner! We will be back!
Always nice people, good service, nice view, Have been there 4-5 times. It is the most authentic place in Phuket. Very close to a beautiful beach where you can snorkel directly from the shore. Be careful about the current on the outside of the rock. You can rent motorbikes.
My wife and I have visited every year for the last five years. The resort is eco friendly without boasting about it inasmuch as each bungalow is built of natural materials, uses a minimum of electricity and blends in with the tropical gardens. An excellent but simple breakfast and snacks are served on a terrace with lovely views across Ya Noi Bay.The owner is very sweet and accommodating and prepares the food herself. The double beds are comfortable and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Bathrooms have cold water only which should be no problem in a tropical climate. An ocean breeze and the shade from the trees keeps the rooms and balcony cool and there is also an efficient ceiling fan. Take a spray for the occasional annoying mosquito. It is a delightful environment, cool and tranquil, and is a few minutes walk to the small beach with excellent snorkelling and two beach restaurants. Also a short walk to shops, bar and viewpoint at Promthep Cape. At 950 Baht per night it's excellent value for money.
Very clean, cheap Bungalows, under friendly people .............We were with our 2 Children (6 and 8 Years) there and next year we will go there again, because the owner of the Bungalows was very friendly,helpfull...........The Beach was small but it was enough for our Family...Especially the Fruit Plates by the Beach Cafe was the Best.........We rented a Honda Jazz Car,for 19 Euro per a Day, with Air-condition,and drived through the Beachs of Phuket...........
