La proximité du centre ville et de la plage, de très bons restaurants aux alentours, le calme du lieu et la gentillesse des propriétaires.

La présence de moustiques, l’eau chaude qui est très lente à venir et la climatisation qui n’est pas très efficace.

Es precioso todo. Habitación y cama amplios, baño grande. Puedes pedir un desayuno exquisito por 600 pesos por persona. Y la atención de Alex es de 10. También hay indicaciones detalladas punto por punto para hacer las excursiones que quieras por tu cuenta. Volveremos. Sin ninguna duda😊

A cabana é ainda mais linda pessoalmente que nas fotos. Tudo muito bem decorado, silencioso, e a piscina natural é incrível. Alessandro foi um ótimo anfitrião, e também companhia para os dias que passamos ali. Viajamos com um bebê e um local assim fez muita diferença. Recomendo fortemente essa acomodação

Les bungalows sont plus proches en vrai que ce qui paraît sur les photos. Le nôtre était collé au logement des propriétaires, pas gênant en soi mais on pensait qu'on aurait plus d'intimité.

Such a lovely peaceful location tucked a street back from the main road, with only three rooms available it’s a very private property. I stayed in the Bungalow which was gorgeous, decent size and lovely patio with lounge and hammock. Air conditioning provided in rooms plus a fan. WiFi connection is great and available in the rooms. The grounds are beautiful full of lots of plants, insects and birds, definitely for the guests who enjoy being surrounded by nature. Breakfast can be provided as a small cost if requested. Great location in walking distance to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Thew natural pool is beautiful although the steps and bottom are slippery, gather it’s due to no chemicals being used, which is pleasing for the environment and overall sustainability of the property (which I agree with), however it’s a weird feeling to get use to.

Le séjour dans ce bed & breakfast présente un mélange de points positifs et de plusieurs aspects décevants, notamment en ce qui concerne l’accueil et l’organisation. À notre arrivée, nous n’avons pas été accueillis et aucune explication ne nous a été donnée, ce qui ne facilite pas l’installation. Par ailleurs, la propriétaire est entrée dans la chambre en notre absence pour retirer un cadeau de bienvenue, en éteignant également la climatisation, sans information préalable — une situation assez gênante en termes de respect de l’intimité. La proximité avec les propriétaires (qui se trouvent à littéralement 1 mètre du bungalow) et les autres bungalows ne s’accompagne malheureusement pas d’un véritable contact humain, aucun échange ni présentation n’ayant eu lieu. La piscine naturelle, bien que originale, contient de nombreux têtards et de la vase au fond, ce qui peut surprendre et ne correspond pas forcément aux attentes de propreté de certains voyageurs. Sur les aspects pratiques, plusieurs points sont à améliorer : absence de poubelle dans la chambre et la salle de bain (seulement une petite dans les toilettes), parking très exigu, portail dysfonctionnel, et absence d’eau fraîche en bouteille. Une bonbonne est cependant mise à disposition dans la chambre, mais elle n’est pas réfrigérée et son aspect extérieur ne donne pas envie de l’utiliser. Nous avons également trouvé surprenant que le propriétaire s’occupe de tailler les branches du jardin en laissant tout sur place à proximité du logement (voir photos). Enfin, il est surprenant de recevoir un message la veille du départ indiquant que, si le séjour a été apprécié, il faudrait attribuer une note de 10/10, en précisant qu’un 8 ne serait pas considéré comme excellent. Cette démarche met mal à l’aise, car une note de 10 correspond, selon nous, à une prestation irréprochable, ce qui n’est pas le cas ici.

En revanche, certains points positifs sont à souligner : la chambre est jolie, les extérieurs sont agréables, la situation géographique est très bonne, et le petit déjeuner est de qualité, même si aucun choix n’est proposé aux clients.

We loved the beautiful garden the rooms were situated in which made it feel very private. The hammock and seating area outside the room were a lovely space to relax and felt like we had a ‘living room’. The owners were lovely, approachable people and were super responsive over message and in person. They had written a very comprehensive guide on recommendations of things to do in the area, how to check in, restaurants, nearby doctors etc which was the best we’d seen on our trip and so helpful to plan for our stay. The proximity to the beach is fantastic- within a matter of minutes you can have your feet in the sand. Would highly recommend staying here!

The parking is a little tight if all rooms are occupied but doable, just a consideration

Tout, l'endroit, la qualité de la prestation, le confort, la décoration, la piscine naturelle, le jardin, le petit déjeuner, la gentilesse des hôtes, tout était parfait.

Super séjour dans ce petit cocon L’accueil y est chaleureux et la chambre magnifique. Lit très confortable, et nous sommes bercés par les bruits de la nature la nuit. Merci encore pour l’accueil.

Nos gustó absolutamente todo de la estancia. Los anfitriones encantadores y las instalaciones….INCREIBLES. Nos quedamos sin palabras. Nos encantó porque tiene un encanto especial y lo que hemos visto en las terrenas era todo lo contrario. Todo estaba limpísimo, la cama grande y comodisima. De hecho, nos gustó tanto que preguntamos si nos podíamos quedar una noche más pero la tenían ocupada. Sin duda volveremos! Mil gracias

Nuestro bungalow fue precioso. El ajardinado es bellísimo. Muy paradisíaco. Se podía ir caminando a la playa y restaurantes. Cuando sirven el desayuno, está bien y saludable.

No funcionó el aire acondicionado. Afortunadamente, no fuimos en temporada más calurosa. Y por el día no estábamos en la habitación. Dejábamos las ventanas abiertas y usábamos tímidamente el ventilador. Faltó comunicación del anfitrión. No pudimos disfrutar del desayuno el primer día.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit grossem Badbereich, wunderbarer Garten. Ruhig und erholsam. Strand und die vielen Restaurants zu Fuss auch in der Nacht gut erreichbar.

Frühstück war nicht inkludiert, jedoch gibt es guten Kaffee zum selber machen. Ein paar Füchte für zwischendurch wären noch schön.

Alessandro and Kamille are incredible hosts, kind and very knowledgeable about the area. The home is a short walk to all amenities, beaches and beautiful walks. The property is gorgeous with a beautiful natural pool, an oasis. Kamille and Alessandro make you feel so welcome. I definitely recommend staying here.

Proximité du centre Accueil

Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant. Nous étions dans un petit cocon mais très proche de la mer et des commerces. La piscine naturelle était très agréable. Alexandro et Kamille ont été des hôtes très accueillants, au petits soins et avec de très bons conseils pour nos visites. Le petit déjeuner (en supplément) était fabuleux. Si vous voulez être dans un endroit jolie, au calme et bien placé, nous vous recommandons Casa Picaflor !

The individual room set in the garden is wonderful with privacy and the room is exceptionally well laid out and functional and pleasant. Kamille and Alessandro are fantastic hosts and very helpful and friendly.

Séjour exceptionnel de 5 nuits dans la chambre ""bungalow" tout confort avec sa grande terrasse bien pratique pour prendre le petit déjeuner ou se poser les jours de pluie. La Casa Picaflor est un lieu enchanteur avec son jardin tropical et sa piscine très zen. Lieu très calme à l'écart du bruit de la ville tout en étant très proche des commerces et de la plage. Alessandro et Kamille sont des hôtes discrets très accueillants et sympathiques

Un endroit simple mais bien pensé, tout y est ! Le ménage est bien fait, le linge de lit et de bains est changé très régulièrement, il y a aussi des foutas pour la plage, c'est très pratique ! C'est également très bien situé, 5min de la plage, des commerces et des bars restos !alors que l'hébergement est au calme. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et très réactifs ! Je recommande vivement !!!

Excelente estadia! Os anfitriões são extremamente gentis e solícitos, o quarto é enorme, com uma varanda muito gostosa e ótima localização. O loca é encantador, com muito verde, bichinhos, decoração linda, cama enorme e muito confortável, chuveiro maravilhoso. Tudo de bom. Algumas avaliações mencionaram mosquitos e ficamos receosos, mas não tivemos nenhum problema com isso em nossa estadia. E pontos também para o café da manhã: servido exatamente na hora solicitada, com muito carinho, bem servido e com o conforto de comer na varanda do seu quarto. Amamos tudo!

Magnifique endroit intimiste et sauvage avec une piscine naturelle. Bon contact avec Alessandro qui est très sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, copieux et très complet et avec des fruits frais. L’hôtel est très calme, l’emplacement est donc parfait pour s’y reposer mais il est aussi juste à quelques pas de la plage et de tous les autres restaurants et commerces.

I loved the garden and the natural pool. This is great for a short-term stay as there is not kitchen. They do have a fridge and coffee/tea amenities. The room was very lit and the beautifully decorated. The bathroom is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the room temp was fresh.

The backyard is a bit small and the huts are a bit close together so it's not super private.

This tropical getaway was just off of the main beach street. It was perfect for our One Night Stay. Awesome outside sitting area right outside of the bungalow. Air condition.

The separation between the toilet and the bed

Immerso nel verde, si vive molto bene la realtà del posto. Circondati da piante e animali, si percepisce un ambiente veramente naturale e privo di artificialità. Offrono anche colazione con prodotti locali ottimi.

Essendo immersi in una piccola foresta, inevitabilmente ci sono molte zanzare, bisogna armarsi di anti zanzare.

Bonito alojamiento, muy cómodo y de calidad. Muy bien ubicado y Alexandro es un gran anfitrión, atento en todo momento. Muy recomendable.

Es un bungalow precioso y cómodo, rodeado de un jardín exuberante, pareciese que estás en la selva, pero en realidad estás a poco pasos de la playa de las Terrenas. Cuenta con amplios armarios, aire acondicionado y mosquitera, el porche del bungalow es una delicia, con hamaca colgante y sofás, pasábamos horas ahí. Los dueños son muy amables y serviciales, nos dejaron gafas para bucear, muchas gracias. La ubicación es muy buena, a pocos pasos esta la playa y el paseo marítimo, con bares, restaurantes, tiendas y colmados. Un lugar muy especial, lo recomiendo sin duda.

Habia mosquitos pero sabemos que es algo propio de zonas tropicales. Se soluciona con repelente de mosquitos.

All the green, nature around us. The inviting spirit of Alex and Camille. They were very helpful. We needed a backpack, Alex provided one.

That we couldn't stay longer. 2 nights are to short.

Bien en general ,aunque no me impresionaron las zonas comunes

Casa Picaflor was like a home away from home. Ale and Kamille have made this place into a little slice of natural paradise. The room is beautiful with a nice little hammock for chilling, plus a coffee table for morning breakfasts which are 10 USD and lovingly prepared. As many have said the place is so nice you almost don't want to leave, but exploring Las Terrenas. Ale and Kamille made us feel super at home, we had some great chats, hung out with them and their friends on New Year's Eve and went to the same party with them. It was a wonderful wonderful stay. Oh and the natural pool is soooo good. Swim every day.

I reccomend this stay in Las Terrenas! The room is very big and clean, located in a nice quiet garden but very very close to the city center and the beach. The hosts are very kind and helpful, we had a couple of small issues but communication was great and they solved them right away! :) They even offered us a welcome drink and gave us some nice suggestions about places to eat in Las Terrenas and some tips on our upcoming trip!

Was received on a short notice and felt welcomed. Room was better than expected, big, clean and looked great.

An amazing stay! The place is beautiful, just a few steps from the beach, surrounded by charming restaurants and a wonderful beach for walks. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and the atmosphere they create in their home is fantastic. A cozy pool, delicious breakfasts, very clean and beautiful. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

I loved staying here. It feels like a lovely secluded cabin in the jungle, but it is only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The hosts are great - welcoming, friendly, helpful, and generous. The decor of the room is delightful.

It was lovely, very well decorated, AC was working very well and very clean. Location was perfect as is in the middle of everything so easily you can go north or south. Very lovely host that gives you recommendations on everything. Lovely breakfast.

Casa Picaflor is a little jungle in the middle of Las Terrenas. Great location to walk to the town. The cabaña was very spacious and conformable. Alessandro, the owner, was very attentive and nice.

The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The garden is well tended, and the swimming pool was perfect to get refreshed at any time of the day. Since there's only three huts in the property, it was very calm. The owners are always available to help or just chat, so we felt really welcomed there!

Very good ambiance and excellent service.

Great location very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The place is very cute, great rooms, and the breakfast was delicious! The owner even accommodated for a vegetarian in our group and we were very impressed with what he made. He was also very friendly and helpful in telling us the best beaches to go to, where to go snorkeling and how to get to the waterfall.

Cockroach in the room The design of the huts meant that the shower area was not separate from the main room. Combined with the pond outside, this increased the likelihood of bugs in the room - hence the mosquito net on the bed No chair/lack of surfaces Taxi ordered by hosts did not turn up for our departure

The location is great, just a few minutes on foot to beach and restaurants. The hosts are super nice and trying to help always with everything we needed. The place is like a little paradise in the middle of the village las Terrenas, beautiful garden, charming natural swimmingpool, and also charming and confortable room.

It is nice to be around all the animals that live in the garden, the hens, the rabbit, the turtle...but in the 5 days we stayed there we could not get used to the noises in the night.

We loved everything, especially the hospitality and all the lovely pets, the host are by far the kindest, and we are deeply thankful, we wish we could have stayed more and hope we will see them again

A little paradise, with kind hosts and cute animals (dogs, chickens, rabbit, turtle, cat) very environmental friendly close to the beach and many restaurants

The place is close to the beach and the room is quite spacious with a good quality Wifi.

The place is rather small with a tiny garden and quite cramped between the concrete walls. The access street is very narrow and there is very limited parking space at the property. Also, due to a bio pool, there is plenty of mosquitos in around and I got bitten more during 1 night stay than the entire week on the island. The place is pleasant but should I have known, I would choose a different property.
