Morgan was a very congenial and helpful host, with a relaxed musical environment. The hotel is tucked away and accessed by a cobbled lane, and that is part of its attraction.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Ruhige Unterkunft mit gastfreundlicher Atmosphäre. Unser Zimmer war grosszügig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Gutes und schmackhaftes Frühstück. Der Gastgeber bietet perfekten Service. Die Unterkunft hat einen schönen Garten, eine kleine mit Liebe gepflegte Oase. Altstadt und Restaurants sind in der Nähe und fussläufig gut erreichbar. Die Anfahrt mit PKW zur Villa Romana del Casale ist im Ort gut ausgeschlidert.
Es war alles in Ordnung.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026- nous avions réservé la suite : grand salon avec grande chambre en mezzanine , confortables - emplacement idéal en centre historique - lieu très calme - accueil très serviable de notre hôte notamment pour l’aide à se garer - grand parking gratuit à 3/5 min à pieds où nous avons trouvé facilement de la place .Il faut finir absolument à pieds et ne pas tenter de rejoindre le lieu en voiture car c’est une voie étroite sans issue. - notre hôte parle très bien français - joli jardin ( mais température trop élevée pour en profiter) - bonne literie - café , thé à disposition dans la salle commune - bon petit déjeuner
- Peut-être est-il possible d’améliorer les indications relatives au parking le plus proche - ne rester qu’une nuit

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Morgan was very helpful finding us and reassuring us that our parking space was good. He met us at our car and helped with our luggage to our accommodation. Our stay was very restful and quiet.
Breakfast seemed a little rushed and I would have preferred a table rather than bar stools and a tall table as I am only short. The pillows were too hard and not comfortable but that was my preference a choice would have been nice. The front door is very squeaky and could do with some WD40.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Ein unglaublich schön eingerichtetes B&B mitten in der Altstadt in einer kleinen Gasse gelegen. Dazu gehört ein kleiner liebevoll eingerichteter Garten, in dem man gut verweilen kann. Auch gab es kein Parkplatzproblem, da man gut in einer ca. 150 m entfernten Straße parken konnte. Dort war auch der Treffpunkt für den Check in, von dem wir abgeholt wurden Wir fanden es ganz toll dort. Frühstück nach speziellen Wünschen serviert.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026We arrived early but this was not an issue for Morgan who told us where to park and then met us and helped carry our very heavy bag to the accommodation. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Morgan recommended some restaurants and we took his advice and had an excellent meal. Property was a short walk from town and has a small garden to relax in.
I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like, host and accommodation were excellent

Morgan, el dueño, nos explicó que era la casa de su abuela y otras casas vecinas que compró luego. Morgan es un anfitrión muy amable y nos da todo tipo de información. El desayuno es muy completo con la posibilidad de añadir huevos, charcutería y queso y bruchettas.
El único inconveniente podría ser el aparcamiento y el acceso pero siguiendo las instrucciones de Morgan, no hubo ningún problema.

Breakfast was excellent too- the whole outfit masterminded by the lovely Morgan ( he is a local Italian!), who manfully carried our bags in heavy rain from the free parking space (about 150m away). It is such a pity that the city Piazza Armerina, like so much of Sicily is full of litter (too much is too much)and is so run down and left to abandon. It was worse than we expected. Who is responsible? Certainly not our host who has done a good job of renovation of his property.
