I was able to get an upgrade right before my stay, and the extra fee was very reasonable! I loved the bungalow. It was just the right amount of space I needed and includes a kitchen, which came in handy. The staff was very helpful and understanding and the pool was nice.

I have no complaints.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained, on top of having kitchen appliances. We absolutely loved the outdoor mirror plus a great ocean view, and the wildlife. Definitely would stay there again.

Nothing to do with the property, but the walk up to the property. It was a good workout though!

El lugar es cómodo y muy limpio, su ubicación es muy buena y hay espacio seguro donde dejar el auto en caso de rentar uno, como fue nuestro caso. El área de la piscina es muy agradable.

Algunas veces la puerta de acceso principal se atoraba.

Todo estuvo estupendo, gracias por la atención y servicio... si volvería a ir.. por la ubicación tenemos la playa super cerca y vimos el atardecer.

Limpieza en todas las áreas comunes y en la habitación, las reglas de la alberca que permiten una sana convivencia entre huespedes y la terraza en buen mantenimiento. Recibimos atención todo el tiempo y fueron amables a pesar que no sabiamos que era auto check-in, el A/C, ventilador, TV funcionando correctamente en todo momento.

Las observaciones que hacemos nosotros fue del estacionamiento que pensamos que era adentro y no en la calle, pero es una zona segura, así que no fue un peligro dejarlo ahí estacionado porque está tranquila la zona. La limpieza del refri podría mejorar un poco más para que sea impecable y no nos tendieron nuestras camas :(

Roof top bar was closed the whole time I was there, felt a bit too quiet but I guess both are somewhat typical in the rainy season.

No staff on site so tough to get spare towels etc. The pool didn’t see to be maintained regularly and had a lot of insects etc in it during our stay.

The property was very clean and in a good location, close to La punta and a mini super 5 mins away. Rooms had good AC, kitchen with enough utensils and clean bathroom

The gas on our cooker ran out during our stay so we couldn’t use it for over a day. However, when we saw the cleaner and let her know, she was able to fix it for us within 15 mins

Pool area was nice. Location was good but very steep hill up to the hotel.

Hotel was dirty. Cobwebs everywhere. Cockroaches in bed. Room was very basic and the bathroom sink and taps were black with lime scale. Door to apartment wasn't very secure.

The rooms are big, AC was very welcome as it was very hot, everything clean, it’s very peaceful, terrace bar was great and has incredible view!

It’s perhaps a little dated in the rooms, needs a little updating

The Aircon was absolutely necessary as it was stiflingly hot here. Plenty of hot water and parking was good too. We also needed the fridge which was great. Pool was small but deep but it was too hot to go out!!. Roof top restaurant was class but could do with a few things more substantial - otherwise top ckassy

Shame no breakfast option at the terrace restaurant but there is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill and also a French cafe which unfortunately doesn't have Aircon. Towels are really on their last legs and could do with renewing. Black opaque lampshades are not that good re lighting so we removed them during our stay.

The place is the best nice and quiet

The location was amazing, close to Zicatela with a pool and a view of the ocean. We got clean towels and bedsheets daily. The pool was really clean and the accommodation looked beautiful inside. There is a bar on top, unfortunately it was really quiet there mostly but it was slightly on the expensive side, especially for locals.

I think the communication was a bit average and can we improved, we tried to book another room for Sunday but the owner/person on the phone said he would send us a way to pay but never did. We had to ask several times to get this sorted. Also the WiFi was quite unstable and didn’t work all the time.

No WI FI on the first day, no cable so we couldn't watch TV. No manager or person in charge to fix the problem, which was resolved the next day.

Location was fine! A bit noisy due to traffic up and down the hill. Bottom of hill was commerce top of the hill was residential. Easy to find. well marked. Pool was very nice and inside gardens were beautiful!

Sad to say they were in transition from no hot water to solar heating in our residence. Came home to no shower water and same the next afternoon. It was never mentioned that the hotel did not have hot water.

Great view, good bed, cozy vibe. Clean and a very peaceful location.

A lot of furniture was falling apart,, internet was weak and staff was absent. A bit more would be expected for that money.

tranquil, safe and basics were covered

it’s not really a hotel, more an apart-hotel, since there’s no service during the night, and just for some hours during the day. It’s not directly a problem, but good to know. The kitchen is poorly equipped, also important to note.

The location just of the buzz of La Punta. Close to the Main Street connecting with all other beaches. Very clean and great little apartments with sea view, Netflix, AC and fans. Nice little pool to cool off after a beach day. Very quiet. Beautiful garden. It seemed we had the place to ourselves. Great room cleaning.

The steep hill… although it was easy to get a truck taxi up & down. Don’t expect any staff other than the maid & maintenance… but when contacted via booking they did take care of the pool that was a little dirty one day. No hot water (did not bother us much though…). No on site bar/restaurant (anymore). The neighbors in Casa Suave we’re playing loud (hard rock) music a few nights…

Good view with a pool to cool down after walking up the hill from La Punta. Comfortable beds and drinking water provided in the fridge. Good value for money if you just need a bed but would recommend staying closer to La Punta.

If you want to be in La Punta don’t stay here, can feel very disconnected and you have to cross the main highway along the coast. When you read the other reviews they are not kidding about the steep climb up the hill to get to the hotel which isn’t recommended on a hot day. The thing that tainted our stay the most though was the lack of staff for: being able to leave bags, booking taxis, getting basic information about the area. When you message them they so reply but only after some time which can be inconvenient for in the moment needs.

Was a nice cool breeze on the balcony.

There was no staff around the majority of the time. The pool was very green and dirty when we first arrived. The advertised roof top area was closed and locked allowing no access.

We loved this accommodation. The bed is big and there is airco. The room was in the shades so it did not get very hot when you want to sleep. There is a fridge in the room. We got new towels and cleaning service every day. Also they have a rooftop bar which provides the most beautiful view for sunset. Relaxing swimming pool and enough places in the shade to read a book

I was only there for 8 hours

The grounds were shady, beautiful, and well-kept, with a clean pool and tidy garden. The room was very clean, with simple furnishings and an ice-cold AC. It was equipped with a small stove and fridge, as promised. Cool water only (but you won't mind). The location was as expected - but if you're on foot, be aware that this is at the top of a pretty steep hill. Definitely outside of the bustle of La Punta - but close to everything you'll need, and perfect if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to unwind and rest peacefully. The staff were incredibly sweet and friendly, and very accommodating - tolerating our broken Spanish, and were very kind to assist with a later check-in, calling a taxi, etc. We would 100% stay here again - it was really beautiful.

The kitchen was missing some of the basics (like forks, and a chopping knife) - we were able to improvise, and make it work, so it wasn't a major problem. The WiFi was not strong enough to get a signal inside our room. On the patio (which was shady and comfortable) it was fine for our needs - but would not be suitable if you need a steady connection for remote work.

Cute hotel tucked away from the noisy streets. A steep walk up the hill but wasn’t that bad. Super big comfy bed and shower pressure was good!

We rented 6 rooms in all of them there are bedbugs, All my family got bed bugs bites Never renting in this place again.

Beautiful view of the beach and pool! was a nice retreat away from business of La Punta.

after a long time of travelling and staying in hostels my friend and I were very much looking forward to staying at casa Terranova. The rooftop/bar that was advertised was closed without notice which was highly disappointing, no staff member was stationed at reception which made things incredibly difficult when needing to ask any questions.

There was no breakfast or restaurant.

The deck lounge was not open. We barely spoke to the staff.

It's quiet at night, the pool is great the rooms are very comfortable and it's a very pretty hotel.

I would stay here again.. but there are a couple of points which need to be resolved. I was here twice this year Jan and Oct, both times the roof bar was closed (we were here for a week) they said for renovation but there was no building work. Seems they have simply stopped using it. The ar con in the upstairs room we stayed in would randomly stop working, either getting stuck on or off. Staff did fix it for us but it happened again pretty much immediately and there was no one around to fix it.

The location of Casa Terranova is excellent. Really close to Punta Zicatela, stores and a traditional market.

Location is great if you have a car/bike, if not, quite convenient as well cauE there are cars that take you anywhere…

I paid for storage for my bags only for three days and they lost it and were not nice,all my clothes are gone and nobody cared

Love this place! The trees in the garden sarrounding the pool area and your little balcony are super cool! The room is huge! TV. Chairs and all to sit on. There was a little kitchen too which we cooked in. All in all the hotel itself and the room was very good. Quite rare to have this kind of thing for the pricing I personally believe from what I have had in my travels.

The only thing.. Can be both good and bad... The location. It's at the top of a steeep hill. You arrive at 7am after a 10hr bus ride... To walk up that with the bags we had... Works your calf muscles 😂 it's also a little out of the way from the rest of centre. Maybe 1.5km. Just to keep in mind. But a small "didn't like" really.

El personal fue amable, la recámara cómoda, y por el precio estuvo bien. Tiene una bonita vista al mar. Y no tiene que caminar mucho para llegar a la playa.

They did not have a room for us, despite our having paperwork that confirmed our reservation and did not even try to help us find another hotel

Desde la llegada tuve problemas porque no estaba lista la habitación con la promesa de reinstalarme al día siguiente y desde luego que es incómodo empacar/ desempacar eso es inconveniente. Mi llegada fue por la noche y solicité taxi para cenar pues el hotel está lejos del centro y la tarifa que me dijeron me cobraría no sé respecto por el taxista, pero eso fue lo de menos, ya por la noche me cambiaron al cuarto que me correspondía y la incomodidad por la mañana fue el arribo (7:00am) de albañiles pues el hotel está en obra por ampliación lo cual no es muy cómodo si vas en plan de descanso que tengas que despertar por ruidos incómodos. No respetaron el precio del cuarto lo escogí por lo económico 368.00 y el cobro final fue de 456.00 por noche en realidad el hotel está lejos del centro, al igual que de la playa para todo hay que tomar transporte además de estar en un cerro qué hay que caminar y la calle es empedrado muy empinado. Un altercado con la dueña quien me insulta diciendo que los engañe pues hice mi reservación por tres noches primero antes de confirmar mi vuelo y después no cheque ampliar mi reservación de hotel y en vez de agradecer el ampliar mi estancia me reclama no estaba negándome a pagar pero no me libre del maltrato de la propietaria. Mi experiencia fue desagradable de principio a fin, ya ni la cortesía de contratarme el servicio de taxi para traslado al aeropuerto.

No respetaron la reservación, decía dos canas queen size y fueron dos matrimoniales, había cucarachas, no cambian sábanas y los trastes tenían como popos de ratón,
