New Life Hot Spring Resort

Loved the vibes of this place. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We reached late at night and were pleasantly surprised that they had even prepared pineapple for us as a welcome treat — such a thoughtful touch. The in-room onsen was wonderful and very relaxing, though slightly too hot for us at first. Thankfully, the owner was happy to help adjust the temperature. Breakfast was sumptuous with a very homely feel, making the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. We were also grateful for the complimentary upgrade of one of our rooms to the second level so our group could stay closer together. Overall, a warm and memorable stay with excellent hospitality.

Great location, hotel is surrounded by nature. Staff was very friendly. Wide choice of tasty breakfast options. And of course the best part was the hot spring tub right in our room.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich! Uns wurde zu einem rabattierten Preis ein besseres Zimmer angeboten, was wir auch angenommen haben und haben es nicht bereut. Dadurch hatten wir nicht nur ein heißes Becken (jedes Zimmer hat eines!), sondern auch ein kaltes, was dadurch wirkte wie ein japanisches Onsen. Das Frühstück war auch gut und wir haben sogar noch eine Guave geschenkt bekommen. Die Waschmaschine zu benutzen ist kostenlos.

Die Zimmer sind ein wenig rustikal, vor allem was die Elektrik angeht. Ich denke, da sollte vielleicht ein bisschen nachgebessert werden.

This is hand-down the best accommodation we have got in Taiwan. The hot spring quality was superb. We can enjoy the hot spring in our room or in their hot spring cabin. Our room has comfortable beds with a balcony where we can drink coffee while enjoying a gorgeous view of the garden. The staff was super friendly. We connected with the owner who gave us a tour up the hill and told us a lot of interesting aspects of plants. He even showed us how to make the tea tree oil. We ended up exchanging our social media accounts to stay in contact. The breakfast was delicious. Next time when we travel to the east side of Taiwan, we will definitely stay in this place.

The owner is very friendly and staff are attentive. The hotel is in a quiet location. There are hot spring rooms for everyone, our room also has its own hot springs tub. The view of hotel is great.

The resort is a charming small hotel that has everything you want - a fabulously warm welcome from the owner and staff, fantastic food and wonderful authentic spa facilities. The setting is beautiful. We arrived on two bikes before typhoon Haikui hit the island and the owner arranged everything so we could get back to the relative calm of Taipei. I would definitely like to return

We only had time to stay a night but we were glad we chose New Life. We had one the loft suites with the 2 baths - hot and cold. It was lovely to relax on a rainy day. Our daughter loved the loft bed. The place is beautiful with lots of wood and tea trees. The staff were incredibly nice to us including the owner who spoke with us for a while. The breakfast buffet is extremely generous and delicious. An-Tong Hot Spring hotel is close by for a outdoor soak as well if you can justify leaving your pretty room.

I was on a bike tour around the island and booked this place from the side of the highway. Its a rustic hotspring resort where the rooms have their own with hotspring water. I had a private deck with a picnic table where I could drink some beers and enjoy the mountain views. Rooms are nicely decorated with wood paneling. Water is nice and hot, tubs basic but clean. Owner is a friendly athlete and cycling enthusiast who has won lots of races, cool guy. Very cute mom and puppy dog that want to play with you in the morning if you like dog :)

The full soaking pool was unavailable. Also the walls between rooms were thin, this wasn't a huge problem as the next door guests were not too loud.

裝潢有點年分，衛浴的設計讓洗澡跟泡溫泉有點麻煩。 但安通溫泉的泉質很不錯，有點硫磺味，但感覺對皮膚很好。老闆健談，早餐也不錯，後面的茶樹森林滿好逛的。

很能放鬆的地方！吃的也很好！

老闆大哥人很好很親切 有機會會再去玩 美中不足大概就是枕頭軟了點

溫泉,床鋪和環境覺得很讚,家人都很喜歡. 但在隔音上需注意, 在使用浴室時,可以清楚聽見隔壁房房客的對話和小孩的喧鬧聲. 但在臥室又沒有聽到喧鬧聲, 不確定是否是隔壁房客使用完浴室後有變小聲,或是臥房的部分隔音比較好. 但若想安靜地在浴室泡溫泉,需慎重考慮或是清晨再享受溫泉. 大中池部分沒有體驗,不參與評論.

Way overpriced for what you get. Paid 3361 NTD. Very run down and dated. Room was stuffy and smelled mouldy. Rubbish and stuff piled everywhere. Staff tried to charge me again. Owner is friendly and chatty. Breakfast was a delicious Taiwanese delight. Hot Springs were very ugly. Do not serve dinner any more. Very far from anything. An Tong Hot Springs around the corner is new, bright and clean. Excellent restaurant upstairs.
