C’ est un endroit incroyable ,la décoration ,l’ univers ,l’ accueil au petit soin .On se sent comme à la maison !la vue de la terrasse est hypnotisante .Je pense le meilleur point de vue de Larache .Une adresse à garder dans ses petits papiers .Incontournable !Merci encore pour ces petits moments de partage !

La habitación es muy bonita, las camas muy cómodas y el desayuno fantástico, típico marroquí muy completo. Está muy bien ubicado y con parking cerca. Los dueños fueron muy amables y atentos en todo momento. Sin duda, repetiremos cuando volvamos a Larache.

Excellent environment very friendly owner and staff they made feel really like being an honourable guest or a friend. Unique premises , atmospheric, gives you an idea of the Moroccan culture and tradition. On the same time, comfortable and super clean. Exceptional hand made breakfast.

Nous avons eu la chance de loger dans la grande chambre située au dernier étage de ce très beau Riad. Elle dispose d’une vue sur la mer. Tout le Riad sent la fleur d’oranger. La décoration est magnifique avec des matériaux de qualité et des couleurs harmonieuses. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel avec des produits fais maison. Le personnel est très serviable, de bons conseils y compris pour stationner notre voiture sur un parking à proximité. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je recommande vivement !

La terrasse gagnerait à être aménagée, ce qui serait encore un plus pour ce magnifique Riad. Mais encore une fois, ça serait un attrait supplémentaire

Il faut juste savoir que si Larache est au bord de la mer la plage qui est en face est à 15’ en voiture et qu’il n’y a plus as d’accès à la mer dans la ville

Demeure splendide qui a su respecter l'authensité des lieux. Les hôtes ont oeuvré d'arrache-pied pour offrir les meilleures conditions d'accueil à tout niveau.

L'ancienne médina a besoin d'un coup de rénovation afin de promouvoir son image et de valoriser son patrimoine hôtelier comme La Sultanat.

Excellent location just inside the Medina. Beautiful room and courtyard. Ali was onsite and very attentive to my needs. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was available on request.

Maison traditionnelle dans la médina décorée avec goût et sobriété. Les effluves de fleur d'oranger dès l'entrée de la maison sont un ravissement. Une chambre à la température confortable et stable en période hivernale et très humide. Petit déjeuner de produits frais très copieux. Personnel et propriétaire très serviables et aimables.

Il manquerait une bouilloire en libre service pour pouvoir se faire du thé sans déranger le majordome. Un porte-serviette supplémentaire dans la salle de bain permettrait aussi d'accrocher l'essuie main.

Sehr schönes kleines Riad in toller ruhiger Lage in der Medina. Schöne Einrichtung, incl. Gemälden des einheimischen Künstlers Mohammed Kabboua dessen Galerie in der Medina unbedingt besucht werden sollte. Ali, der gute Hausgeist, ist an Aufmerksamkeit bis ins letzte Detail nicht zu übertreffen.

Die Regenwasser-Ableitung auf der Dachterasse war von einigen Tagen Regen überfordert, das Wasser stand dort zeitweise Zentimeter hoch.

Staff was super friendly. We have been received like kings. They came to fetch us at the parking, then accompanied us to a great restaurant and breakfast was delicious.

Ce lieu est exceptionnel ! La maison, tout d’abord, un Riad ancien extrêmement bien décoré, logé dans la médina au cœur de la ville. Les chambres sont parfaitement équipées et entretenues, il y règne un calme paisible. Le petit déjeuner fait maison abondant de produits frais. Ali , le majordome, est aux petits soins à chaque instant, ce, sans être envahissant. Il assure son service avec une grande générosité et un sourire imperturbable. Aziz, le propriétaire, était absent lors de notre séjour, il nous a téléphoné tous les jours et dans la bonne humeur pour nous donner des bons plans. Nous avons été séduit ma compagne et moi. Et pour finir ( mais je pourrais continuer) le Riad est facile d’accès. 10/10

Ein wirklich beeindruckendes Riad. Traumhaftes Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir wurden bis zum Restaurant im Hafen begleitet und haben Larache unter den Einheimischen erlebt. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

No hay nada que no nos gustase. Todo ha sido maravilloso, y Larache un gran descubrimiento, más puro, auténtico y con apenas Turismo. Maravilloso.

Una experiencia inolvidable en un lugar precioso en la Medina de Larache. La atención del personal fue inmejorable. El desayuno excelente con productos muy marroquíes. El diseño y conservación del espacio es excepcional.

Un établissement à recommander les yeux fermés ! Tout était parfait : de l'accueil chaleureux d'Aziz et de sa femme, au confort et au charme de la chambre (vue magnifique, décoration soignée, literie confortable), en passant par l'extraordinaire petit-déjeuner servi sur la terrasse de la chambre ! Sur la route entre Rabat et Tanger, Larache a constitué une étape très agréable de notre road-trip, avec la visite de sa médina et des ruines de Lixus ! Hard to find. Roof terrace could have been more welcoming. Directions on how to find it would have been useful as google maps doesn’t work.

We stayed on the top level with a spectacular view of the coast. The hosts were warm, engaging and very helpful. And it was the best breakfast I have had in Morocco!

Communications about the parking were a little unclear but it was clarified quickly.

Voyage dans le temps, dans une médina authentique, loin du tourisme de masse, nous avons été accueillis de façon simple et chaleureuse par Aziz et son épouse dans un Ryad d’exception , où tout est raffinement et invitation à la contemplation! la maison, la chambre, le balcon (et la baignoire !) avec vue sur les toits de la médina et l'océan, le petit déjeuner maison avec les excellentes préparations d'Aziz.

Un accueil tout simplement remarquable par des personnes d’une grande gentillesse, qui nous ont indiqué les meilleures adresses pour se régaler et découvrir la région. Les petits déjeuners, composés de délicieux produits locaux, étaient un vrai régal. Une expérience à ne surtout pas manquer si vous passez par Larache

Well I found the hotel hard to find but once found it’s a little Jem and bedrooms was all clean there a roof bedroom that look lovely . I would stayed in had I had known bout it as it has amazing views over the town , well the breakfast was very good one of the best on my trip the only issue was leaving my motorcycle a distance from property but it was still there in morning untouched . The owner of hotel is a lovely man and easy to get on with would definitely go back !

In the midst of a characterful Moroccan medina is Sultana Larache, an oasis of calm and genteel charm. Run by an exceedingly helpful family and their team, my sea view room had a fabulous view and very was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and I was treated like royalty. How wonderful.

Owner:Manager could not have been more helpful, really welcoming and a lovely property, once you are in it.

The location of the property is a challenge to get to and I didn’t feel particularly safe at night to be honest. There isn’t an alternative route to the property and you need to make your way on foot through a challenging social environment.

Rarely in my frequent hotel stays around the world, for work or pleasure, I felt so welcomed, with discretion and infinite kindness. I was lucky to meet Asma, to get advice on how to spend our family time, to taste her cuisine, to listen to her stories and these are just some of the privileges of having stayed in this splendid Riad. Restored and decorated with meticulous care and refinement, nothing banal or predictable, everything extremely clean. Larache itself doesn’t offer a lot, but to stay at Sultana worth the trip. The scent of orange blossoms as soon as you enter, the delicacy and kindness of Asma, the helpfulness of the staff.. from the first moments I understood that it would be a perfect stay! And so it was! A special thanks then for the attention and availability with which a particular dietary request for two people in my family was managed. Simply, again, thank you!

C’est un très beau Riad décoré avec goût. L’ambiance y est très sereine. Nos hôtes Haziz et Asma nous ont merveilleusement accueillis et nous ont conseillés dans nos visites. Les petits déjeuners étaient fantastiques !!! Encore un grand merci

This is the only hotel located in the Medina and one of the few riads that have been renovated. The owners are very kind and welcoming.

Getting to the hotel with suitcases is difficult (a porter helped us). The Medina is rather squalid. The rooms are very small and there is no direct daylight (except on the top floor), giving a claustrophobic feeling. Even the family room we booked for the two of us was cramped with a mezzanine floor right above the bed. The room smelt musty (there is only one small window facing out to a wall) with the two other windows facing inside. The windows did not have sufficient curtaining to give sufficient darkness in the early morning. The bed mattress was lumpy and we did not get a good night’s sleep. The hot water for a shower is only available in the morning but not at evening – something we found out only after 11pm - we felt unable to wake up the owners. There are no bedside lights which make navigating the trip hazards across the floor towards the bathroom rather dangerous. There is no mini-fridge in the room or in the dining room which, at the room price point levied, seems ungenerous. We had paid for two nights but decided to leave after one night. We did write a WhatsApp thanking the owners for their kindness and explaining some of these issues that had caused our unwillingness to stay for another night. He sent some of the very good reviews he had received and wrote “No comment” in response to our issues. No refund was made.

Great Riad! Simple & elegant...with great attention to details. We had the room with the terrace on the roof with a beautiful view of the harbor and ocean. One of the best Moroccan breakfasts we have had and definitely the best coffee. Service was over and above the call of duty - Ali walked with us to the restaurant, for example. And, Aziz, one of the owners, made us feel at home and was full of great travel recommentions. Thank you! Hope to be back soon!

A little hard to find but upon a phone call, the owner sent Ali to meet us in the parking lot and help us with our luggage.

The owners are a true ambassadors of Moroccan culture. The service they provide to their customers is beyond what is seen in the tourist industry. I believe this is because they show the endless love of caring their customers. Our breakfast was delicious and of a high quality as well. You taste how much attention is paid to prepare it. The view from the terreace on the roof was a breath taking away experience . And their staff are very nice and helpfull. They always available when you need them. My wife and myself would like to thank the whole team and keep up the good work you''re doing.

Notre sejour en famille a été magnifique ! Les hotes du riad Asmae et Aziz nous ont tres bien acceuilli, aux petits soins tout au long de notre sejour. Le riad est magnifique avec une tres belle decoration, une odeur ennivrante en entrant a l'intérieur. Le petit dejeuner etait tres bon et copieux. Nous sommes tres contents de notre sejour et nous y reviendrons.

Everything was nicely prepared. We had everything we needed, and what we didn’t have we could always ask for. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It was the first time I was greeted so warmly and sincerely by hosts. I would like to thank Aziz, but Ali as well who was so helpful during our entire stay. I would love to come back again.

Beatiful view from the top of the building with a lot of privacy. The airconditioning was quiet and efficient with a superbe breakfast.

A lot of restaurants in the area but limited view serve alcohol. I realise it is part of Morocco but a bar fridge would go a long way.

Un très grand merci à Asmae et Aziz pour cet accueil chaleureux autour d'un thé et petits gâteaux savoureux dès notre arrivée. La suite du séjour n'a été que plaisir, de la découverte de notre suite parentale jusqu'aux petits déjeuners le lendemain qui se composait uniquement de produit bio. Et un bravo particulier à Aziz qui nous à préparer des anchois à sa façon.. un vrai délice.

The fabulous hosts who made us feel so at home and who shared their love and knowledge of Larache with us. And who also had breakfast and lunch with us. The house itself has been restored in a simple, traditional style throughout, with attention to details. Would stay again.

Small, nice Riyad in Larache. Can be hard to find, but they can send people to fetch you. Exceptional breakfast - and if there are few guests, ask to have it on the roof or even better ; in front of the Sultana suite. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Rather small room for the price. Overall good standard, but felt a little expensive for what you get.

what a hidden gem. This is one amazing restoration project with exceptional detail and a wonderful finish. It feels like home and I was blown away by it all, including the stunning view from the roof top terrace.

The area it is in is not your normal tourist zone and you need to keep an open mind but it’s worth it trust me. The families in the surrounding streets are lovely and the kids very happy to chat. so don’t be put off by your first impressions.

Checked in on March 12th to 22nd. Great location at the heart of the city centre and local community. Food is amazing, interior is very traditional with a touch of modern decor. Staff and management are very welcoming, friendly and always providing great service. Highly recommendable and worth staying again.

Food is the only think OK in the hotel.

Wet patches in the walls, cracks in the walls, very poor lighting inside the room, smell like humidity all over the place which make breathing difficult and extremely poor wifi connection. It is the first time in my life that I have to abandon a hotel before the period I booked for. Pictures and rate shown in booking website are not matching the reality.

Not easy to find in the city centre, the host is doing the utmost to guide you, including reserved parking spot. Felt heartily welcome with good vibes. The room is cosy, breakfast perfect. Place to be when heading to Larache.
