En gros quelques modif peuvent être faites et ce serait super. Linges propres. Support de valise, ce qui est appréciable. Théière, café et thé à dispo, nombreux verres,
L’hôtel manque d'un coin où l'on peut échanger et cosy. Il y en a deux mais l'un est dans l'entrée pas très confortable, petit et à côté de la cuisine, et l'autre il y a une minuterie... Les matelas sont un peu dur. La moquette mériterait d'être changée, dans la partie ancienne. Le confort sonore entre les chambres est un peu limite. Par contre, si vous réserver demandez bien à ce que cela ne soit pas côté train, car cela fait quand même un peu de bruit surtout si vous ouvrez les fenêtres sinon si tout est fermé c'est très acceptable. Parking gratuit et proche. Par contre, pas d’ascenseur et les chambres sont soit au 2e et au 3e... (pour les moins chère, je pense), et les autres en bas, donc un étage à monter pour le accéder au resto et pour le petit dej. Attention pour les grosses prises françaises, elles ne peuvent pas marcher là bas. En gros quelques modif peuvent être faites et ce serait super.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The resturant service and food was really good. The breakfast included was the best we've had in the last 2 weeks of travel. The room had lots of space and it was very clean. The decor was alpine focused and the bed was so comfortable. The history of the place is very interesting. I would definitely stay here again.
There was a little noise from the nearby train station, but O believe they may just be working on an issue and it stopped before evening. This is probably not an issue when the windows are closed.

There are really not many lodging option in Orsieres, so this was a good choice in the sense of lack of alternatives and the location but setting this aside I think this is a place for just a technical one night stop to rest while trekking, not a destination to stay in itself. Room had a musty odor when entering and the facilities and amenities were quite basic. The front desk was unattended most of the time so I had to wait for check-in and look for help in the bar. The breakfast buffet seemed varied but it was a bit disorganized, lack of plates, empty food bins and when scrambled eggs were replenished they were fridge cold.

Es hatte keine Handseife nur zwei Miniflaschen Duschmittel! Wie wäre es mit Dispenser? Der Teppich hatte überall Flecken, wir traten nur mit FlipFlops drauf! Es wäre überall eine Renovation fällig! Beim Frühstück waren sie überfordert, es ging ewig bis sie die Früchte auffüllten und dann gab es halbgefrorene!

Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel, et c'était très bruyant à cause d'un groupe. Le service a été d'une lenteur abominable et la facture était conséquente.

Le petit déjeuner offre une très large gamme de produits de qualité pour tous les goûts. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le service de la femme de chambre; les petites attentions, comme sachets de thé et café, bouteille d'eau. L'hôtel est idéalement placé et au calme.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Zentral an der Hauptstrasse (Bahnübergang) gelegen. So ist die Strasse zu den Pässen direkt vor der Tür. Möglichkeit die Motorräder kostenlos in der Garage unterzustellen. Das angeschlossenen Restaurant geht auch die Wünsche eines Gastes ein wenn das gesuchte Essen nicht angeboten wird und ermöglicht es.
hätteBei den Sommerlichen Temperaturen hätte ein Ventilator oder Klimagerät im Zimmer gut getan. Denn um zu lüften muss man eben die Fenster öffnen, wenn die Fenster offen sind hört man jeden Zug und jedes Fahrzeug vorbeifahren.

Construction going on during dinner and throughout the entire night. Noise made sleeping very difficult. There were flies EVERYWHERE in the rooms and in the restaurant and on our food. The breakfast options were extremely limited. We were so excited about our stay here but it did not meet expectations.

Across the road from the rail line which wasn't a problem regarding noise etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us into our room early. The Restaurant was amazing. The staff were great and the chef produced some absolutely amazing dishes, highly recommend to everyone. It is worth a trip to Orsieres just for dinner.
