Longcourt House Hotel

Breakfast mediocre. No fruit no cereals no yogurts no croissants

As stated above breakfast mediocre. No bottled water in rooms. Door of my bedroom needed carpentry work. In efficient booking arrangements. Despite an initial phone call to someone about a room booking and a response. Further calls xame re same issue even though resolved. NO LIFTS TO BEDROOMS THIS SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED ON BOOKNG SYSTEM. A PERSON WITH MOBILITY ISSUES DONT KNOW THIS UNTIL THEY ARRIVE AND CANT Then go anywhere else

Room was big & comfortable

Not great choice of TV channels. Breakfast choice was limited.

Very easy to get to. Really friendly and helpful staff. All areas were very clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was fantastic.

The only negative was a very strong air freshener on the floor our room that we could smell in our room. Thankfully we were able to open a window.

Affordable, comfortable accommodation. Good breakfast options, cooked to order.

One of our evening meal choices wasn't great. It was a chicken burger and the chicken was tough.

The guy on reception ( evenings ) was excellent. The bar and restaurant were more than adequate.

The bedroom was a bit tired with a very tatty shower over bath. They switched us to another room with a shower cubicle which was an improvement. Overall the room was very much done to a budget. A little more imagination in design of furnishings would have made a big difference. Bizarrely they don't have shaver sockets which is a first in my experience of staying in literally hundreds of hotels all over the world..So charging a toothbrush proved problematical. Cracked wash basin, missing toilet roll holder, low mirror etc.

Breakfast Staff location

Super service of reception and breakfast

The location suited my work needs. Food was excellent

No leisure facilities

Nice brekkie, nice staff

Hotel could probably do with a bit of an update. Reception was also a bit "cold" - maybe could do with a bit of a woman's touch

The location was ok but the breakfast was poor

The breakfast was very poor. The bacon and sausage was the cheapest quality. I stopped here before and was very happy with the food but it has gone downhill in a big way.

Breakfast perfect staff so friendly

The beds were soft but I slept well so?

Breakfast was completely a la carte, I.e. there was no buffet. Every item on the menu was priced, even though breakfast was included in the room cost. I usually enjoy some juice, yogurt & fruit alongside my main breakfast but it felt intimidating to be ordering so many items from the proceed menu. Breakfast, when it arrived, was freshly prepared though and exactly what I ordered.

Our 'superior' room, while spacious enough, was sparsely furnished (only one chair for instance). The 'extra large' double bed was simply 2 single beds bolted together. There were no stoppers in either the bath or the sink. The room decor, while clean, was showing its age, especially in the bathroom and the loose window catches (surely a security concern in a ground floor room).

Staff was welcoming and exceptionally helpful. They even arranged a to go breakfast at 6am for us so we could get on the road, including coffee just the way we wanted. Room was comfortable. Shower hot & strong.

The towels were a bit on the thin side.

The property was lovely a little dated but comfortable and clean

The menu wasn’t great to be honest there wasn’t a vast amount of choice and there was a grey haired manager walking around telling the younger staff to do things instead of helping them ,,, he also gave out to a bar man in front of me and my partner thought it was really unprofessional of him

Mark at reception was so friendly and welcomed me Breakfast was huge 😋

Nothing really

I liked the location. It was good for our requirements.

The room was not four star. No reading lights. Very poor shower. Breakfast was basic and obviously pre cooked and kept warm.

beautiful breakfast each morning. huge room. service excellent.

nice complementary breakfast, good pancakes

no water bottles or minibar at the room

Value for money.

The room and particularly the bathroom could do with freshening up. Also, we returned from an event in Limerick and were expecting to be able to order a drink in the hotel when we returned. Unfortunately the staff said that the bar was closed.

Location and cleanliness

Nothing

The staff were very professional and pleasant.

L’accueil. Chambre spacieuse Le restaurant

Camera molto spaziosa e pulita. Posizione ottimale

Colazione

Clean, friendly, good location and the food was lovely

The breakfast was lovely and a good choice was offered . The room was comfortable and clean but dated

The shower was not flexible . I did not feel safe sleeping with the window open

Breakfast very good early

Go to breakfast late you will get pre cooked then into microwave not good

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast.

Staff friendliness all lovely people, food quality very good but some portions far to large.

Continental breakfast option - poor selection of cereals no bran flakes; no croissants/ pastries, no fresh fruit. Our window fixtures needed upgrading, table lamp not working, no water in room. Difficult to see how 4 star rating achieved.

the bar, the parking area.

bathroom very old, impossibile to get cold water in the shower.

food was great

nothing

Lovely decor, spacious rooms & great food.

Nothing

Gniazdka z wtykiem USB.

Brak szczotki do muszli wc.

Chowder was nice.

Irish breakfast was terrible.

Room was huge great space for a families. Food was nice and breakfast was good, nice that is it table service. Bed was very comfortable.

No lift so had to carry all baby equipment up one flight of stairs. Quite inconvenient. Bathroom was quite dated. Piece of wood fell off desk in room.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit perfekter Lage

Das Wasser kam etwas unregelmässig

Lovely staff great Breakfast lovely evening meal

Having to pay extra money for room on arrival than what I was quoted when booking room

Spotless clean Food fabulous Staff so nice Beds extremely comfortable

Road outside noisy

Good hot food

Pool

All meals excellent - fresh produce and served nicely Staff attentive

Nothing to dislike.

Hotel was very clean, breakfast was lovely, room wad lovely and spacious. Food was lovely

Everything was lovely

Lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. Room and ensuite were spotless. Grear water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was excellent, great selection and good quality.

Comfortable bed, nice room, dinner and breakfast were good

A little bit dated, looks more modern in photos. Tables aren't set aside for guests if the hotel has event bookings, which was an inconvenience.

Excellent breakfast and dinner on both days. Quality of ingredients first class, and plenty of seasonal veg. The staff were all friendly, attentive and efficient. The atmosphere in the hotel was welcoming

Being elderly, I found the shower in the bath a little precarious. The shower could do with a shoulder height shelf to take the soap and shampoo. Also, the bathroom floor is very slippery if your feet are wet

Goed hotel; recent gerenoveerd.

Alles was top.

Great property

Beautiful hotel great staff friendly and accommodating great location good breakfast plenty of parking

All good

staff were courteous and helpful, the hotel was modern, clean and comfortable, facilities were good

Tolles Zimmer, freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück

It was Nice

It was grand

It was a fab hotel and suited out family get together very well

Breakfast was a bit chaotic.

Friendly staff and great food

The room could have done with an upgrade,I was disappointed

Staff were excellent. Menu was also very good

The room was spacious and sparkling clean. Staff was exceptionally helpful.

The only thing is there is no AC. It wasn't much of a problem fan was provided.

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were all friendly, enthusiastic and attentive. Mark on the front desk and Ita in the restaurant made our stay memorable and could not do enough for us. Thanks guys

Great facility . Excellent bars and restaurants. However a bit overpriced. If you looking for a value in the area, this is a great choice.eé

Prices in restaurants and bars.

Booked here for a family event. Lovely hotel, met all our needs. Food was good and plentiful. Staff were amazing. They really looked after us and went out of their way too. Would recommend to all.

Nothing at all

Food very good

no fridge in room

Location

Not enough staff around

The staff were very nice and kind towards my kids and made then feel at ease.

The only minor issue was when the room upstairs had a shower (we think) it made a noise in our room which was loud initially but then died down but it definately didnt impact on our stay

Exceptional value for money. Warm, friendly, professional staff. Food was always delicious
