City Camping Hjørring

Kein Frühstück buchbar. Wenig besuchter Campingplatz, deshalb angenehm ruhig.

Ansprechpartner war nicht auf dem Platz. Schlüssel hing mit Klebeband befestigt an der Receptionstür obwohl wir innerhalb der vorgegebenen Ankunftszeit waren.

Pokoik w kontenerze z podwójnym łóżkiem, łazienką i TV. Czysto. Na zewnątrz fajny wybieg dla psa. Domki na kempingu. Kemping zadbany ze wspólną kuchnią.

Brak stolika i krzeseł w środku pokoju z powodu bardzo malej przestrzeni. Brak w pokoju czajnika do zagrzania wody.

Vi voksne og Børnene var vild med stedet.

Veel te duur voor een kleine kamer zonder mogelijkheden. Voor een beetje meer heb je een mooie hotelkamer in de buurt.

The location was fine and staff friendly. There is a pool.

There was really nothing to commend this. Usually, a campsite cabin can work very well for passing travellers, on bikes in our case. This cabin was less than basic. Really cramped, with sheets we had to hire not fitting. No facilities in the cabin except a bed. No shared cooking space that we were told of.

Would be good to be clearer that there was no bedding but host sorted quickly thank you

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable . The shower was fine but the floor of the shower wasn't very clean looking.

We arrived in September so facilities like café and shop which were referred to in description were closed. The room was small as expected and mainly ok but the door didn't quite fit well and two radiators were not working .

The cabins at the facility were very old but with new doors. The hs was overworked but did his best, definitely. The camping is situated about 20 minutes to go from the railway station, use Hjørring Øst(East), a new station on the route from Hjørring to to Schagen and NOT the main station for then its either a bus ride or a 50 minutes walk.. Anyway recommende, the owner/host is willing to be present late at night too and the linen he rents out is properly washed and clean. There is a family swimming pool too. Best for those who have own transport.

We agreed with the host to leave the used linen and the cabin key in the cabin as we left early. In spite of that he shouted a us when we did not deliver the key in his reception( which he happened to have opened already). Such things should not happen. But then the poor man clearly had too much to do, being alone with the whole camping. On the other hand he was willing to meet us after closing time when we arrived , Highly appreciated as we needed the linen for the beds of course. Taking into consideration the low grade old cabin we got his price for those cabins is definitely too high. He has also new cabins which he rents out for the same price....such happens when they trick booking.com, sadly!

Room and toilet is not that clean.

I was very happy with the kitchen and the barhroom and toilets were very nice and clean.

The beds were very hard and the small hut we stayed at was not clean on the inside. The outside looked nice but the inside was very worn down. For one night the stay was bearable but i would never stay longer.

The one thing that made us feel better about the disaster that was our stay at City Camping was the location. It allowed us to have dinner at the Hereford House Restaurant in Hjorring. A wonderful meal.

The charge was excessive for a dirty little cabin, that was so small my wife and I couldn't move around it at the same time. Quite different from the accommodation shown in the information online. The beds were especially dirty. Then there was the issue of charging. We were surprised that we had to pay extra for bed linen/towels when we already had to pay for each of us individually. (Maybe we had failed to read the small print.)

The cabin was very cozy. It had everything I needed, including a sink and some dishes. It seems like every possible way to find a bed when traveling is excessively expensive these days, but this was as economical as possible.

Only negative is that it took longer than expected to walk here from the train station. But not all that long, and it is to be expected for a campground.

The sofa was very small and fits just for small children. The rom was smaller, than looks on the pictures. I think it's ok just for two people.

Posisibility to arrive late in the night even though the reception has been closed. Cleanliness of the restrooms.

We left an hour after our arrival, so I really can't tell.

There is nothing positive to say, we didn't even spent one night there. The floor had holes in it, svitches broken, the bed was awfull, and the place smelled like mould. Money out the window.

It was in a central location with two supermarkets within a short walk, with friendly staff, kid friendly. Room was very neat and brand new. Other local areas of interest within a very short drive or slightly longer train journey. Station is about ten minute walk from the camp site and trains run early and frequently. Easy to get from Ferry in Fredrickshavn to the the camp site. The Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not many restaurants close by.

Fantastisk suite. Eneste minus var at Wi-Fi virket ikke. Null Internett. Det står gratis internett på siden.

Opholdet var skønt. Vi blev opgraderet til en luksushytte på stedet, hvilket var vildt lækkert! Alle nævnte faciliteter var nemme at finde og i flot stand. Kasper som har stedet er rigtig flink og behjælpelig. Det samme var samtlige jeg faldt i snak med på stedet. Dejligt område at gå ture i også. Jeg kommer igen.

Det var en endags overnatning, og hytten levede fuldt op til billederne, vi havde set samt vores forventninger. Det eneste lille men, er sengene. De var ret hårde/faste. Men for en enkelt overnatning, kan det sagtens gå☺️
