We enjoyed our stay at Sweetwater very much. Katja is a wonderful host. The cottage is well equipped with everything needed. I appreciate the complimentary bottled water and complimentary drinks when using the spa. It was heavenly to have access to the sauna and hot tub! Also, the personal touches with treats inside the cottage were very kind. Sweetwater truly is a lovely escape; it is beautiful and tranquil! We cannot wait to go back.

Wir hatten eine schöne und angenehme Woche im Sweetwater Guesthouse. Der Pool ist grossartig und sehr sauber und es gibt bequeme Liegestühle und einen gedeckten Sonnenschutz Bereich dazu. Man kann im gesicherten Bereich parkieren und die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und hat alles drin, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht. Katja und Uli und ihre Mitarbeiter machen einen tollen Job! Wir werden die Unterkunft sicher wieder buchen, wenn wir nach Wellington gehen.

It is a beautiful property and so peaceful. The houses were so well equipped and comfortable.

Lovely location and stunning grounds with a beautiful pool area and spa. You can see the facility is loved and cared for.

It's self-service. That's what we wanted. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. High quality appliances. Nice furniture. Comfortable beds. Hudge space. Low Noice levels. Beautiful setting.

Ther's not really anything one can say here. This is our fourth return to Sweetwater and we'll be back again next year March. Certainly, worth the travel and cost. I nearly missed the wedding because i was so relaxed here.

We liked the facilities the property offered, like a swimming pool, sauna and tennis court. Although we did not have time to use it. The cottage is super equipped with everything you will need. From a fireplace indoors to a braai outside with a private garden. We will definitely visit again.

One of the best places I have stayed at! The cottage has everything you need & was absolutely beautiful....the owners have great attention to detail. The spa & sauna area are stunning & such an added bonus to your stay. Even though it was raining during our stay the pool area is beautiful 😍 Will definitely be back!!!!

Such a peaceful locale, the accommodation has everything you could possibly need. The pool and facilities are great. For a peaceful retreat close to the winelands this is a great option. The hostess was also super friendly and her 3 lovely dogs won us over

The location, the pool, the accommodation was nice, clean and big. Small attention to details, such as fresh eggs, bottle of wine and chocolate. The owners are friendly and immediately available if you need something.

Beautifully decorated cottages, incredible spa facilities, welcoming hosts, cozy fireplaces (with plenty wood), friendly dogs, beautiful lawns and all right on the doorstep of the charming town of Wellington and surrounding wine farms! Our group of friends had a fantastic time on this property and we highly recommend it to all.

We could not have chose a better place to welcome in the New Year. Katja and Uli were the perfect hosts who welcomed us warmly when we arrived and kindly checked in with us on how our stay was going, without being intrusive. The complimentary fresh farm eggs, wine and chocolates were an treat, but the bottle of bubbly for New Years eve was an extra cherry on the top! Thank you! The property and garden are heavenly, we could not believe how relaxed we all felt! We even made use of the tennis court, despite the heat! A quick jump in the pool afterwards to cool off was amazing, and the loungers so comfy you could easily drift off for a quick nap! As we were leaving we had some trouble with our car. Katja and Uli were quick to assist, going out of their way for us, which we appreciated greatly. An amazing place to stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Perfect location to discover the wine region and do wine tasting. A big thank you to Katja and Uli for their warm welcome including wine, chocolate and fresh eggs with their so beautiful sauna. Wood for the brai too. We highly recommend and we will come back with our family or friends.

Everything. This is a very high end place to stay. The owners are lovely and even arranged a meal at a vineyard in Paarl for us, taking us and picking us up. The holiday home is lovely, everything you need is there..beds excellent, bathroom clean and good standard. Plus a generator for load shedding. They have a number of bonuses - tennis court, sauna room with showers and a plunge pool. Large gardens with tortoises and four lovely German shepherd dogs who are very friendly. Wonderful place

Super impressed by this guest house. The owners were very friendly, kind and accommodating. The rooms were so modern and comfortable. The breakfast baskets met all our needs and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent.

The kids playground was not at all suitable for younger kids <5 years (it was all too high or too big). Otherwise, no complaints at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sweetwater. Everything about it is just perfect. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and equipped with very classy kitchenware and appliances. The view of the mountains from the bedroom is magnificent and it was a tough choice between sitting up on the balcony or lazing next to the sparkling swimming pool. All the little details helped to make our stay really special. Katja and Uli are very gracious and attentive hosts.

This is a must go place. Just a little paradise. wonderful rooms, so much space. It feels as if Katja and Uli can read minds - everything you need is there. Highly recommend. Lovely owners, amazing place.

The only negative thing was that the park is only suited for bigger kids, so my 4 year old daughter could not really make use of the park, but this did not prevent her from having an exceptionally fun time. Had a blast with the chickens and tortoises, and the pool area was simply amazing.

What a treat! We booked this accommodation as it was close to the venue of a wedding we were going to and our family group stayed in 2 of the cottages. We loved everything. The quiet, the pool, the view, the sound of running water, the covered patio, the beds. The thoughtful extras like local wines, plunger coffee, great bed linen and towels, firelighters, and wood at the ready for the fire, really made the difference between feeling that we were paying for accommodation, and feeling like we were being pampered. The massive bath in my room was a blissful treat, together with candles and bath salts, and I woke up in the mornings to the view of the sun rising behind the mountains. Outside of this haven is the quaint peaceful town of Wellington, plenty of spectacularly beautiful wine farms, and lovely walks. I would like to have stayed for a month, and I will certainly be returning to explore the area more!

Everything about Sweetwater was absolutely beautiful. Immaculate, clean and the owners are so friendly and kind. Always going the extra mile. Lovely tennis court. Kids had a ball at the pool. We'll definitely be back.

Everything was perfect

We absolutely LOVED this place! One of the 2 bedrooms led out to the braai, garden and pool area which was lovely. Very comfy king-sized beds with awesome and spacious en-suite bathrooms. The large walk-in showers were a pleasure. The unit was modern and well equipped and the hosts clearly put a lot of thought into what guests might need. Well stocked kitchen. Did not use the Sauna but how great to be able to get wellness treatments right there! Kids loved the pool. It was a bonus that swimming towels were available at the pool area. Very quiet and peaceful place, yet not far from pubs, restaurants and the Mall. Katya was a kind and generous host and was readily available to meet any of our needs. We would love to return there someday for a longer stay!

One minor problem was the tv which did not have a USB port, but otherwise perfect.
