Die Lage direkt am Fluss war sehr schön. Die Terrasse ist auch sehr schön mit Hängematten und Sesseln zum richtig ausspannen. Es war alles super sauber und das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Es gibt durchgehend Kaffee, Tee und Wasser. Die Kinder konnten Angeln direkt von der Terrasse auswerfen. Die Zimmer sind toll und haben ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Eigentümerin hat sich um unsere Transfers gekümmert und wir konnten such ganz unkompliziert einen Tag verlängern.

Man muss schon wissen, dass es immer etwas nach Fisch riecht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen, man benötigt immer einen Transfer.

From initial correspondence the owners were very responsive, helpful and pro-active. We had an early arrival and fully expected to need to leave our bags and go out - but we were made immediately welcome. Rooms were ready and the welcome exceedingly warm. We had planned to go out for dinner but a massive rain storm changed our plans - the owner, without hesitation, told us what the local 'cook' could provide food and so we had a local 'take-away' - and the owner ensured it was served on her crockery not out of the plastic boxes! Excellent food and brilliant value. We loved the serenity and authenticity of the homestay; it was amidst a busy fishing port, the locals went about their daily tasks - would loved to have stayed longer.

Die Familie wahr wirklich sehr hilfsbereit, nett und zuvorkommend!!! Unsere Kinder durften deren Angeln benutzen, wir wurden zu einem abgelegenen Strand gefahren, man half uns bei der Weiterreise, wir bekamen die Handynummer, falls Nachts mal irgendwas wäre und viele weitere Kleinigkeiten, die nicht selbstverständlich sind.

Si vous vouliez vivre un moment suspendu hors des sentiers battus. Alors cette GuestHouse est pour vous situé dans un petit port très typique. Nous avons pour la deuxième fois vécu une expérience incroyable. La gentillesse de nos hôtes est également à mettre dans la note que j'ai attribué à cet établissement, il est exceptionnel, attentionné, même si la guest n'est peut-être pas dans les standards européen. Tout est propre, les petits détails dans le petit déjeuner, et toutes les attention donné sont adorables et la propreté il n'y a rien à dire allez-y et retourne-y vous vivez un moment incroyable.

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit kleinem Schlafzimmer und großer Terrasse. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Waschservice sowie Scooterverleih. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Die Terrasse war fabelhaft, Hängematten, Schaukelstühle und Frühstückstische.

Leider war die Austattung in dem Schlafzimmer nicht so gut. Es gab keine Ablagefläche. Ich hätte mir noch einen kleinen Schrank oder eine kleine Kommode gewünscht.

L'emplacement est extraordinaire. On ne se lasse pas de regarder le canal et le defilé des bateaux de pêches (qui passent aussi la nuit, ça peut gêner mais ce ne fut pas mon cas). Il est possible de traverser le canal en petit bateau, il y a un night market pour manger sur l'autre rive. Nous sommes parti ensuite ver kho tao. Nos hotes on appelé un petit bateau qui nous a conduit directement au quai Boonsiri.

Clean room, unique location right on the water. Good hosts with great recommendations. We were able to rent a scooter to go about from the homestay which was super convenient. Cute cats!

Sometimes the fishing boats can be a bit loud, but the host provided earplugs.

Etablissement conforme à la description, très sympa le week-end car il y a un marché vraiment bien sur l'autre rive (traversée en petit bateau en quelques minutes). Expérience authentique.

まず、漁村という特殊なロケーションは貴重な体験になる。 夕暮れ時に、漁船や渡りのボートが行ったり来たりしているのをのんびり川に張り出したテラスから眺める時間は、最高にチル。食事はどれもおいしい。女性のコックが一人で作っていて、時間がかかるので早めにオーダーしたほうがよい。 部屋は簡素だが、広く清潔。

特にないが、しいて言えば、オーナーのピックアップトラックで市内に送ってもらった際、7分ほどの移動に350バーツかかった。相場よりだいぶ高いはずなので、交渉すればよかったと後悔した。

Wir hatten einen außergewöhnlich schönen Aufenthalt im RUB Lom Chom Klong Homestay. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig direkt am Fluss; wir genossen die entspannte Atmosphäre und das Treiben auf dem Wasser. In der Unterkunft ist alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Kostenlos stehen Wasser, Kaffee und Tee bereit; weitere Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank können günstig beim Check-out bezahlt werden. Frühstück ist inklusive, außerdem können Mittag- und Abendessen bestellt werden. Am frühen Abend haben wir uns mit einem Longtailboot auf die andere Flussseite übersetzen lassen und den Nachtmarkt besucht. Das war ein perfekter Ausflug – die Atmosphäre war toll und die Menschen waren unglaublich freundlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber organisierten am Abreisetag für uns ein Longtailboot zum Boonsiri Pier nach Ko Tao, inklusive Hilfe beim Gepäck.

Wer geruchsempfindlich ist, sollte diese Unterkunft meiden. Man gewöhnt sich aber daran.

De locatie. Als je van hieruit wilt vertrekken naar Ko Tao kun je evt.met een bootje vanaf de homestay naar de vertrekpier worden gebracht. Erg leuk want dan pak je ook een stukje haven mee. De host kan het allemaal voor je regelen. Vriendelijk en perfect.

Wat een geweldige homestay! De ligging in het vissersdorp is uniek. Je slaapt er boven de rivier. Zo goed verzorgd en heel gemoedelijk. En wat een lieve mensen! Door de eigenaar ‘s avonds naar de stad gebracht. Chumphon is een geweldige plaats!

Ik kan echt niets noemen. Alles klopte.

Het ligt aan de rivier van een echt Thais vissersplaatsje, je kunt heerlijk chillen en naar de voorbijgaande boten kijken. Binnen 5 minuten brengen ze je met een bootje naar de pier voor de Boonsiri boot naar de eilanden. Je kunt water, koffie en thee pakken en er is een goedgevulde koelkast met koele drankjes tegen betaling. De tweepersoonsbedden slapen lekker. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Wij hebben eten van de markt laten komen en gezellig hier buiten opgegeten. Echt een unieke ervaring!

Tout, le lit est très confortable, c'est très propre, bon petit déjeuner, la possibilité de se faire servir de très bon repas sur place. L'hote nous a réservé un taxi de l'aéroport à un prix intéressant. L'ambiance est très agréable. On avait peut du bruit des bateaux au vu de certains commentaires, ce n'était pas un problème. Très bon séjour, merci.

Rien, attendez juste de voir avec l'hote pour réserver votre navette pour les îles, il y a un port à côté et un autre plus loin.

The hosts were very friendly at this interesting homestay. Firstly they picked us up from the bus station, and on the way to the homestay they stopped for us to get some food in 7/11. As we arrived they made us a really nice dinner and also organized ferry tickets and pick up for us. Probably the best part of the morning was when a local took us on his boat up the river to the ferry port, during sunrise it was a great way to see the fishing village of Chumpon.

Very unique place and very friendly staff. Stayed one night and the owner took us to a local market 10 km away. This place is awesome

It was basic, but very clean. The hosts were very helpful and very kind. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the boats come and go, playing games, while waiting for our ferry. It was lovely.

Our stay at Rub Lom Chom Homestay was so special! The team working here went out of their way to be helpful - they took us to the night market for dinner, arranged our ferries and our ferry drop off. We pulled up to the ferry on our own little boat which took us directly to the pier! It was an idyllic space with an outdoor terrace area where we sat and played the board games and had a beer to watch the sunset. We hadn't researched the city too much but the night market was really good and we are so glad we stopped here! It was one of our favourite parts of our trip. Thank you so much for having us.

Knus en schoon verblijf met alle benodigde faciliteiten, tussen lokale bevolking. De wijk laat een andere kant van Thailand zien dan de toeristische. Vriendelijke zoon die ons mee op pad nam. Bescheiden bewoners, lekker ontbijt. Rustgevend om naar de voorbijgaande, kleurrijke bootjes te kijken vanaf het terras.

It is a great place to chill out. I love the outside more than the room and spend most of my day in the patio. The breakfast is great, they offered two styles on my two days stay.The host and staff were nice, they offered a free ride to the town for the night market, and he also took us around the deer bridge which I wouldn't be able to go by myself, and we stopped by a really nice coconut ice cream vandor along the lake!

Very friendly hosts that arranged the pick up from Chumphon railway station and the transfer to the Boonsiri pier in the morning. The homestay is simple but clean and peaceful. A good choice for an overnight stay between Bangkok and Koh Tao.

Its a perfect place for a short visit or even a week long stay. Kind and friendly staff.

Tout. L’accueil, la gentillesse des propriétaires. La propreté des lieux. Il ne faut pas se fier à l’apparence, nous sommes en milieu familial (homestay) dans une maison traditionnelle bâtie sur pilotis. Le lit et la literie des plus confortables que nous ayons connu en Asie du Sud-Est. Digne d’un grand hôtel! L’offre de visiter le marché de nuit pendant deux heures et où on nous a conduit aller-retour. La terrasse géniale où nous avons pu relaxer des heures en regardant les chalutiers de pêche, des petits pêcheurs côtiers, des taxis longboat qui circulent sur le khlong devant nous. Tous ces petits plus qui sont offerts gracieusement : café, thé, cookies divers. Le petit-déjeuner très bon, préparé pour nous et servi avec un café filtre si on le souhaite. À ma demande, le patron nous a réservé les billets pour notre traversée vers Koh Tao et même un taxi longboat pour nous conduire au port d’embarquement.

Rien, on a tout aimé! Mise en garde: certains pourraient être dérangés par le bruit de certains bateaux qui circulent même la nuit. Des bouchons d’oreilles sont mis à notre disposition. Pour notre part, cela ne nous a pas empêché de dormir comme des bébés!

Voor 10 bath kun je je laten overvaren naar de overkant. Daar naar het viewpoint gelopen met een prachtig uitzicht. Bijzondere lokatie om rond te lopen

Tout était parfait, de l’accueil au départ.. un endroit tellement magique où un arrêt avant de rejoindre les îles est nécessaire ! Le repas était peut-être l’un des meilleurs que nous ayons mangé en Thaïlande

Very cute, peaceful and traditional area. More so a place to stay if you are traveling to the islands. I had a room with mattress on the floor, it was definitely comfortable enough but if you are used to luxurious Hotels you may not love it. I loved it however! The food was wonderful. The two owners were amazing. Both very friendly and incredibly helpful. They sorted out booking my ferry to travel over to koh tao, water taxi, my return. Absolutely lovely people. Everyone in the area was also very friendly. The 2 cats that live in the homestay are cute. The bathrooms were clean, I did have a small lizard in the shower room with me at one point. Surprisingly little mosquitos. The air con worked well and I had a fan in my room.

Dette var en ekte fiskelandsby. Opplevde hverdagslivet på nært hold, helt genuint med lite turisme. Eierene gjorde alt de kunne for å gi oss et flott opphold.

De homestay is tussen locals en dat is zeker de moeite waard om eens mee te maken. We zijn met t bootje naar de overkant van t water gegaan ( 10 bath pp) en daar valt genoeg te zien. Erg gastvrije familie. We werden per auto rondgereden naar o.a.een viewpunt, de avondmarkt en werden bij een toprestaurant afgezet en weer opgehaald. Zeker aan te bevelen!

We hadden een kamer de luxe met twee badkamers en futons. Het is misschien even wennen om op een futon te slapen, maar sliep verder prima. Dus eigenlijk viel niks ons tegen.

Enkelt, men så trevligt boende. Supermysig familj, rent, prydligt och väldigt genuint. Inga turister och jag älskade det. Bott här 2 gånger och kommer gärna tillbaka.

It's someone's home right on the river....fascinating to sit and watch the goings on. The family was very nice and even took us to a great lookout spot and we could see all of Chumphon from there.

That I didn't choose to stay more than two nights. This place can be hard to find, even using a map app.

This place is wonderful.An oasis. A semi-floating oasis. Guests are well looked after. Free snacks and fruit, water and coffee too. And the hosts so nice and helpful. I contacted them after i left a week later regarding a question and the helped/answered asap! I really regret i did not longer.

Perfect location for the ferry. Amazing fantastic homestay on the river. The family are lovely. Very helpful and willing to help in any way they can. Quiet clean and very individual homestay. We loved it and cant recommend it highly enough. Stay herevif visiting Chumphon...

Es ist ein Magischer Ort, der uns etwas Ruhe auf der Reise gegeben hat. Sehe Sauber sehr einheimisch sehr Hilfbereite Familie. Sie haben uns sogar das Ticket nach Kohsamui organisiert

We only stayed for 20 hours because of transit to Koh Tao. This place was so nice, we would have stayed longer if we knew beforehand. Host and staff is fantastic, speaks good English and are very helpful. We stayed on a Saturday and there was a great food market on the other side of the canal in the evening. You can hail a ”taxi” longtail for 10B, straight from the veranda. We usually don’t eat much street food, but this time we were stuffed when we went to bed.

Great place to crash for a few days. Sit and watch the fishing boats and fishermen preparing them. The host are very helpful and they organise some of the best and cheapest food to be delivered for you at your request. Very nice breakfast. You have to be prepared for it to be basic and quiet but that is part of the charm. It is a great way to add a bit of adventure and still feel safe. Your face will ache from smiling with the locals

Très bel endroit. Expérience inoubliable. Lieu déroutant en arrivant mais très vite on est happé par la vie de ce village de pêcheurs. Et notre hôte est une personne très serviable. Il nous a attendu à la descente du ferry et nous a fait decouvrir les marchés de nuit. Belle terrasse pour se detendre et observer le va et vient des bateaux. A decouvrir!!!

Beautiful location in a small fishing village. It's very quiet and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff (the owner took us out to visit a deer park in the area and the night market in Chumphon) and 2 lovely cats. Communication with the owner was super easy and efficient.

Hier fühlt man sich wie ein Teil der Familie. Es ist ein familiengeführtes Homestay, man bekommt (zumindest in der Nebensaison) eine kostenlose Fahrt zum Night Market und zum Aussichtspunkt und allerlei tolle Tipps, was man wo essen und machen sollte. Einfach genial. Auf Wunsch wird jeden Tag das Zimmer sauber gemacht und man bekommt auch zwei Flaschen Wasser pro Tag. Man kann sich selbst Kaffee machen, Bücher ausleihen, einen Roller oder Fahrräder mieten und sehr günstig zum Local-Preis typisch thailändisches Essen bestellen! Wenn man auf die andere Flussseite möchte gibt es leider keine Brücke, aber für 10 THB pro Person ruft sie ein „Wassertaxi“ für einen, das einen rüber bringt. Und zu guter letzt gibt es hier das beste Frühstück in ganz Thailand: Selbst gemachter Joghurt, selbst gemachtes (nach deutschem Rezept!!) Brot und selbst gemachte Marmelade zusammen mit Ei und leckeren Früchten. Wir haben es geliebt!

Die Lage ist sehr versteckt und direkt am viel befahrenen Fluss, was abends romantisch, aber nachts aufgrund der lauten Motoren-Geräusche auch mal nervig sein kann. Das muss man einfach wissen. Zudem war unsere Klimaanlage etwas lauter.

Amazing location in an under visited fishing village. The hosts were incredible, taking me and the other guests to local markets to try local foods and support small businesses. Despite it's location, there were few mosquitoes. Good A/C

The initial walk to the homestay was a bit jarring, this village is built on stilts over the river, meaning that during low tide there is a strong smell from the ground, coupled with a string odor of dried fish/shrimp due to the local business of cleaning/processing seafood. You get used to it after a couple hours, but if you are very sensitive to smells, just be warned :)

This was our favourite accomodation on this trip. The host is wonderful and brought us all to the night market in Chumphon for free (in the back of their pick-up truck). We had an early boat to Koh Tao and the host was very kind in bringing us there at 06am including some breakfast. Recommend staying here longer though! The town is great and a treat to walk around, can only be reached by taxi from Chumphon and then follow the route description.

The rooms might be small but they're clean, comfortable and have AC
