Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade auf das Doppelbett Zimmer bekommen, weil es frei war! Das Zimmer hat einen Balkon mit toller Aussicht und das Bad ist gemütlich klein mit schönen Steinwände. Man bekommt Rabatt bei 2 Cafés in der Nähe.

Das Bett war sehr weich, was Geschmackssache ist.

Lovely gem in the heart of Dimitsana! Comfortable and cozy! The lady that welcomed us made us feel right at home and was throughout our stay available to make sure we had everything we needed! Thank you !! :)

Dimitsana is a charming little town, and the guest house is an old and interesting building. We had a comfortable room with a small balcony, and a spectacular view over the valley. The property is not very easy to find, as the access is up a steep cobbled alleyway/road (and it not clear on google maps). Our luggage was minimal, but carrying heavy luggage up to Proselinos might be a problem - although this probably applies to many other places in Dimitsana too. On arriving at the property we called the owner on the number on the door and she arrived very quickly to let us in. She went out of her way to be welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the balcony (self catered)

Proselinos does not provide breakfast, which I would have preferred (though discount is available via the owner in two local cafes) I think the bathrooms will need updating soon.

No parking and Google Maps instructions not clear. But instructions sent in advance by the tenant were clear and helped us to find the way No breakfast option

The ambiance of the whole place was amazing and even more amazing was the stellar customer service! Maria went above and beyond helping me with a number of things which I greatly appreciated! She's a star!!

Unfortunately, we received a room with only a small window… which made the room and atmosphere very dark ..it’s a lovely location and old building though! Just make sure to book a room with big windows!

We loved the guesthouse and our hosts. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind. We really enjoyed our stay there and exploring the village and surrounding area. We would definitely stay at Proselinos if we have the opportunity to return to Dimitsana.

A long drive from Katakolo on the west coast of the Pelopponese brought us to the mountain village of Dimitsano.. The village is a maze of cobbled side streets and Stefanos, our host, was kind enough to meet us in the centre and escort us to a parking spot. From there a stiff walk through the backstreets took us to Proselinos guesthouse. We were shown our room which was in keeping with the location… full of charm. Stone walls on 3 sides plus a feature fireplace which together with radiators are no doubt put to use in the winter. Natural wood panelled ceilings and floors added to the feeling of warmth. Lovely period furniture, tasteful decor, a desk, wardrobe and fairly comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but fine with a spa bath and hand held shower. No air cond or fan and no tv although there is one in the lounge/ dining/ reception area. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful… thank you! Nice coffee shops ( we visited the R4 all day espresso bar with a roof garden a few times) A visit to the historic water mill close by is well worth it. Altogether an enjoyable 2 night stay.

Doors and a window opened up to a patio shared by another room. I guess this could cause a noise issue if your neighbours stay up late talking . A small fridge was positioned in a small inner lobby between our room and the room next door. Personally we would have preferred to have a fridge in our room. We had hoped for a balcony with a view but a glimpse of a mountain view could only be had from the patio previously described.

We had an amazing stay. Stefanos and his wife are lovely people, the best hosts you could ever ask for. The breakfast is really one of the best we ever had in a hotel. If there is one place you’re staying in Dimitsana, it should be this one!

The owners went above and beyond to ensure that we were well cared for and all of our needs were met. The property is delightful, well appointed and very comfortable. The views were stunning and village itself divine and welcoming also. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. The owners and their property were exceptional.

This is by far one of the best places to stay in and around the menalon trail . Stefanos ( the owner) was so communicative. We got a message from him explaining the exact location of the hotel and the best way to get there . We needed some help with finding a taxi to take us to on of the trail heads and he was more than willing to help. The facilities in the hotel are great the room are cozy the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is great. All in all we will definitely come back .

Lovely owners offering a good breakfast. There is a small external terrace and a kitchen you can use. It's at the heart of Dimitsana. There is a parking not very far, but it's recommended not to have many stuff.

The property was delightful with a lovely view and cute little verandah. The hosts were fabulous, knowledgeable and very helpful providing us with a suggested itinerary when we arrived. Breakfast was home made delicious vegetarian treats. We wish we had been able to stay longer

A small and charming guest house, run by a couple with great love and attention to every detail. The tips the owner gave us ,for trips in the area were also excellent. Located in a small street with a very good view, and very close to the main street

It is a small street with no entrance for cars, so it is necessary to walk from the parking lot to the guesthouse. But, the owner offers to call him from the parking lot and is happy to help those who need it with the luggage

It was our second time in three years in Proselinos. First off, the location is great – Dimitsana is a beautiful and historic town, with immediate access to some of the best hiking trails in mountainous Greece. But this is also an extremely well- and tastefully-maintained guesthouse, with very helpful hosts (in particular, you should take all their restaurant recommendations!), and the best breakfast I've ever encountered in a BnB worldwide!

Stephan and his wife provide an amazing service. Breakfast outstanding and and advice for hiking trails so helpful.

The small hotel is located in an old stone house in the center of Dimitsana. The rooms and the common living room are decorated in a beautiful way with much love to detail. It’s a quiet and clean place. Breakfast is made freshly and a bit different every day. The hosts were helpful with advice for our hiking tour.

the rooms are great, the decoration superb, very clean and and tidy. the rooms include also a fireplace which is really awesome especially in cold nights. the breakfast handmade and really tasty. last but not least the very helpful and kind stuff that were always willing to help and assist.

This was an amazing location made to feel like you were relaxing comfortably in your own home. We traveled with friends and were able to visit, play games, and even use the kitchen to make our hot chocolate in the evenings. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and spoiled us with a beautiful breakfast!

Nice location in the village itself, in a peaceful little street. Very warm welcoming. We feel like in friends'house. Home made breakfast in the main room of the house. Typical Greek furnitures and ornaments. The owner' s advices for touristic tour were useful.

The only very little inconvenience was the lake of curtain for the shower in the bathroom.

The location is perfecr, but most omportant is the host. Stefanos was magnificent. He helped with the luggage (the parking is nearby but there are few steps), he helped us with detailed and important explanations about sights, locations and restaurants, and the beeakfast was amazing !!

Amazing room/ very cosy place. The mattress was great, also the facilities in the room exceeded our expectations. We loved the breakfast which was different every day (also the guys prepared special plate for my mate who does not eat eggs). we had a fantastic stay overall and the staff was extremely polite and cool! Would definitely recommend.

A lovely, charming and very comfortable old style place (but with modern facilities); wonderful hosts - all these in absolutely amazing Dimitsana and views. Great location, good breakfast served in a very nice dining/living room setting. The host, Stefanos, was so kind to meet us and carry our luggage to the guest house and then back, when we were leaving. And he gave us great hints where to go and how to get there.

Beautiful quiet location just off the main street of the village. Stephanos could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Offered to meet us from the car park and carry luggage up back street to the guest house. Room charming and unexpected pleasure of a jacuzzi bath. Tips for eating out and what to visit. The monastery built into the rocks was astounding. Incredible drive through clouds. Roads not for the faint-hearted though! The breakfast was lovely. No choice but every mouthful delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough.
