Toaletten hade en del felaktigheter som trasig duschhållare. Restaurangen var tyvärr stängd på kvällen.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel. Das Zimmer war durch Schrägen etwas klein, aber das war kein Problem. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Frühstück war ebenfalls ausreichend, abwechslungsreich und lecker.
Den Preis fand ich etwas übertrieben.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Besonders gefallen haben mir die stilvolle Einrichtung aus echtem Holz und die Möglichkeit, sich Speisen in einer Mikrowelle warm zu machen (im Eingangsbereich). Das Frühstück war extrem lecker und ingesamt eine super entspannte Atmosphäre im ganzen Hotel.
Das Bett war deutlich zu weich und das war auch das einzige Manko.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Fräscha rum och lagom mjuka sängar. Tyst och rogivande överlag, vilket jag uppskattar mycket. Frukosten var perfekt balanserad med fokus på sund kosthållning. Men baconet var detta till trots stekt till perfektion. Varken understekt eller för hårt stekt. Ja, jag älskar bacon.
Kan inte hitta någon svag punkt.

L’espace commun avec vaisselle , bouilloire, canapé est bien pensé , dommage qu’il ne soit pas nettoyé et que la vaisselle ne soit pas lavée . Personne n’est passé enlever la vaisselle sale pendant les 3 jours où nous étions la . Il n’est pas possible aux voyageurs de laver cette vaisselle car il n’y a pas d’évier .

We did not include breakfast when booking the hotel, and paid separately when we did choose to have the hotel breakfast. Unfortunately it was very expensive and only had the breakfast once. Shampoo/conditioner was provided as a "soap" square and did not work for my own type of hair, hence needed to go and buy travel sized as we travelled with hand luggage only. We stayed for 7 nights, unfortunately this was causing issues sleeping in the beds after a longer period due to causing back pains. This would not have been an issue for a shorter stay.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025This is a charming and beautiful hotel. Very homey and comfortable. The breakfast was not too varied, but delicious anyway. I've seen in other reviews that the beds are too soft, as I only like firm beds this worried me, but they were super comfortable and it was no issue at all. The view was amazing, lovely to wake up to every morning. A very simple but appreciated touch was the tea and snack selection upstairs. The staff were all wonderfully kind and spoke perfect English and Swedish. I was very pleased with our stay, thank you!
With as expensive as it is, parking should be included.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2025Great waterfront location at the harbour of Klåva, on Hönö. Pleasant building and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. When I was there, it was breakfast and lunch only, no dinner. There are other eating places at the harbour, notably the beautifully located Tullhuset, with a fine cuisine and water on two sides. The hotel breakfast is fine, with freshly baked bread. The staff are friendly but rather laid back, not hugely communicative. The island is bigger than I had expected: If you are without a car you need to take a bus from the mainland ferry, same tariff system as Gothenburg, regular services. I had a pleasant three days here: Getting up early for sunrise, walking, looking and, yes, even swimming, although it was September. (There is a little cove called Hästen, about 15-20 minutes' walk away., You can walk to it over the rocks or, if you are mildly impaired in your mobility, you can walk along the quiet road.) I spent a lot of time just sitting and reading at the harbour and/or watching the boats. The weather was that way during my stay.
The room felt small because a part of the ceiling is very low, cramping your space and obstructing the view out of the window. Ask for a seaview, which would have been a major improvement. The room was a little pricey, considering that it was September. In bad weather, there is nowhere to sit and read: you would have to lie on your own bed all day. This is why I reduced the evaluation from eight to seven. There was just one small seating corner indoors:; in bad weather, one might wish for more comfortable facilities. There is no access to the central lobby, when the restaurant is closed (from 4pm, when I was there).

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Skærgårdshotellet er et sted med en gennemført lækker stil med naturmaterialer og velvalgte rolige farver. Morgenbuffeten er lækker med gode råvarer og egne opskrifter på eksempelvis marmelader, og udtrykket er næsten kunstnerisk. Personalet er smilende og rolige, ja nærmest afslappede, så atmosfæren er fantastisk dejlig og afstressende. Vi elskede Skærgårdshotellet, og vi vil helt sikkert vælge samme sted en anden gang. 6 stjerner ud af 5!

The location is stunning, just by the sea and although we didn't have a balcony room we could still enjoy a partial sea view - beautiful! The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the room clean with all the necessary additions. Breakfasts is tasty with options for both continental and cooked breakfasts. The yogurts compote are one of my favourite. The warm welcome is lovely and like coming home again. Can't wait for my next stay here!
