Nice view of the mountain/vulcano from the restaurant, cabins and pool. Friendly staff. Breakfast included but you can also have lunch and dinner at the restaurant (mix of local and international choices). There is also a pool bar. Please note that Geckos can enter your cabin. They do you no harm but can make some noise from time to time. It was not a disturbance for us.

Shower is outside and can be cold to use when the sun is setting and it is a bit windy. Road to the property is very damaged.

As soon as you arrive, you are stunned by the view in front of you: lush green rice fields and, on the horizon, the imposing volcano. We had the Balinese menu for dinner and it was definitely worth trying; it was an overall lovely experience that will remain in our memories.

Wir haben selten eine besseren Ausblick und Urlaubsgefühl gehabt und das Personal ist auch hervorragend und erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch. Zum Erholen und die schönen Seiten der Welt zu sehen der perfekte Ort. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Personal!

Het uitzicht is fantastisch, de villa is magnifiek, het personeel is super lief en zorgzaam (wij zijn ziek toegekomen en zijn heel goed verzorgd geweest). Het eten is ook lekker.

Weet dat je wel scooter of driver moet vragen. Maar ik zou zo teruggaan. Het is te mooi!

Fantastic stay at Patal Kikian overlooking the Sidemen Valley. Very attentive staff, lovely food, beautifully kept gardens, the spacious villa, and of course, that pool — a perfect place to relax and unwind.

The decor in the villa could be tweaked a bit with a wider mosquito net, some additional cushions for the sofa/day bed, an additional lamp for the lounge area. But I'm being picky, otherwise faultless.

Prachtig zicht, mensen zo vriendelijk en lief, een echt wauw gevoel. Onvoorstelbaar mooi.

Jen hebt wel taxi of scooter nodig om de buurt te verkennen maar ik zou zo opnieuw gaan.

Het fantastische uitzicht vooral in de ochtend met dauw in lucht, de prachtige villa (106) het liefdevolle personeel en de keuken zowel het Ontbijt als het Diner waren van hoog niveau!

Je hebt altijd vervoer nodig om ergens te komen ( ATM, Warung, Restaurants) Wij wisten dit en hebben alles op de scooter gedaan. Opbouwende kritiek: lekkere loungestoelen voor de villa zou een heerlijke aanvulling zijn.

Dreamy place with the most incredible view on the Mount Agung. The whole area is stunning and this hotel has a great location, a bit steep to get to the hotel so have a good driver/car! We were upgraded to the villa with private pool and it’s probably the best room we’ve ever had, highly recommend to book it if you can. Complimentary foot massage was excellent!

Waanzinnig uitzicht op de vallei en Mount Agung. Geluiden van uit het dal geven het een mythische sfeer. Silver class was ook erg leuk om te doen bij de yellow bridge. Personeel super vriendelijk, op woensdag live muziek en goede spa.

Er was miscommunicatie over vertrek voor rafting. Hierdoor zijn we onnodig vroeg opgestaan. Neem de rafting serieus! Wij zijn omgeslagen en dat was geen fijne ervaring. Gelukkig is het uiteindelijk redelijk goed afgelopen.

We had a wonderful stay in Sidemen. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with an incredible view and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy Bali. The service was excellent from start to finish, and everyone was so kind and attentive. A special thank you to Eva, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. She was incredibly kind, helpful and always had a smile on her face. ❤️ We truly loved our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

We planned to stay for 2 nights. However, upon seeing the magnificent view onto the volcano and discovering the beautiful rooms we instantly booked another night. Finally a hotel in Bali where the actual premises live up to the online pictures. Our room had a private garden with a jungle shower. We were torn between spending time there and the superb pool. Absolutely book the romantic dinner. It is worth every penny and exceeded our expectations too. Another very cool experience was the free purification ritual. A must do. Prices and quality of the food and massages are absolutely adequate. Do not leave the hotel for alternatives. After Ubud and the Gili islands we would never have thought that a secluded hotel in Sidemen would be our best stay in Bali.

I thought long and hard. But there is nothing to complain about. Go here and it will be better than anything else you have booked so far.

Ce n’est pas toujours facile de se déplacer dans le centre du village ou dans les monuments aux alentours mais l’hôtel nous a toujours trouvé des taxis quand les grab ne venaient pas

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans une chambre deluxe. La douche en extérieur avec vue sur le mont Agung est un vrai plus!! La piscine publique avec cette même vue est juste incroyable, petit déjeuner flottant parfait. Concernant le petit déjeuner rien à dire, l’emplacement où manger est très calme et ressourçant (encore une fois une vue folle). Le personnel est très gentil et aux petits soins. Mon conjoint et moi avons été coincés dans sidemen après une soirée restaurant + massage et après 22/23h il n’y a plus de taxi. Nous avions pas mal de route à pied, dans des rues assez pentues et sombres. Nous avons donc contacté l’hôtel pour demander s’ils proposaient un service de taxi. Ils avaient quelqu’un à nous ramener mais il fallait attendre 30 min/1h. La personne de l’accueil s’est elle-même proposée de venir nous chercher avec son propre scooter (elle a fait 2 allers-retours pour nous 2) et ne nous a rien demandé et avait du mal à accepter qu’on lui donne quand même un billet. Le spa (payant) est aussi très qualitatif, un des meilleurs que l’on ait fait sur Bali.

It is truly spectacular. The food was very good, especially the à la carte meals. The breakfast was okay, but not outstanding. The staff were always very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There were only a few things that could be improved: a bathrobe in the room would have been nice, and the shower definitely needs a curtain or better separation, because the whole bathroom gets wet when showering. Also, the water pressure in the shower was very weak. One thing to keep in mind is the location. There are no Grab or other taxi apps available up there, so you are quite dependent on the hotel’s transport. There is also not much to do in the surrounding area, meaning that you will mostly stay at the hotel. However, if you are looking for peace, relaxation, privacy, good food, friendly staff, and an absolutely incredible view, I can highly recommend this place. Overall, a great stay with only a few small things that could be improved.

Formidable séjour au Patan Kikian. Nous avions réservé la villa avec piscine privée sur le mont Agung et nous sommes encore sous le charme de la beauté des lieux. La vue sur le mont et les rizières est la plus belle que nous ayons eue et nous avons passé 3 jours fabuleux. La villa est immense et la piscine privée tout autant, un régal pour nager et admirer la vue incroyable. Le prix est assez élevé mais par rapport aux villas avec piscine d'autres hôtels l'expérience n'a rien à voir car l'espace et la vue sont un vrai luxe. Le restaurant est bon, avec une vue toute aussi splendide, et la soirée musicale une fois par semaine est très sympa...Souvenir spécial pour la meilleure danseuse de l'équipe (Ayu) avec qui nous avons passé un très bon moment. Nous avons également apprécié la situation géographique de l'hôtel et la proximité avec les rizières (10 mn à pied de la rivière). L'hôtel propose une balade le matin dans les rizières et nous y sommes revenus en solo au coucher du soleil et que dire à part que ce fut un moment magique loin du tumulte. Cet hôtel est tout simplement exceptionnel. Le site est sublime, avec une vue extraordinaire sur la campagne de Sidemen et le mont Agung. Notre chambre était parfaite (villa plunge), se réveiller chaque matin face à cette nature était un pur émerveillent. Ajouter à cela, la qualité des prestations (spa, services rendus) et l’extrême gentillesse et efficacité du personnel (merci Eva). Sans oublier la qualité de la nourriture tant au petit déjeuner qu’au dîner. Le tout pour un prix franchement raisonnable. Ces 3 nuits resteront un temps fort de notre voyage de près de 3 semaines à Bali. Merci !

La vue est splendide. Le cadre est magnifique et très bien entretenu. Le restaurant est très bon. Le personnel hyper serviable et gentil. Franchement je recommande. Le panorama est unique!

Juste à savoir: l'hôtel est situé tout au nord de Sidemen. Il n'y a pas forcément de restaurant à proximité et est loin des autres hôtels.

Als je op zoek bent naar een hotel met mooi uitzicht op Bali, zoek niet verder: dit is hem! We kregen daarnaast een massage en afternoon tea gratis aangeboden, dat waren leuke extra’s.

We voelden ons tijdens de trekking een beetje voor het blok gezet iets te kopen bij een lokaal gezin (vanaf 200k), dat had van ons niet persé gehoeven. En in tegenstelling tot de villa waar we eerder verbleven, was deze kamer aan vernieuwing toe.

Perfekter Service, traumhafte Aussicht, wunderschöne Villen, leckeres Essen, unbedingt den Scooter-Ausflug buchen, der war großartig. Für ca. 3 Nächte eine tolle Location!

Eigentlich nur Kleinigkeiten, die einen nicht von einem Aufenthalt dort abhalten sollten. Z.B. fehlender Wäscheständer für nasse Badebedekleidung, etwas weiche Matratze, zu kleines Moskitonetz am Bett und auf einigen Terrassen kein Sonnenschutz.

Het uitzicht was echt adembenemend mooi. Alsof je naar een schilderij kijkt. Vriendelijke personeel. Locatie erg goed onderhouden. Huisjes eenvoudig maar keurig. Ontbijt is goed genoeg. Hotel biedt een ochtendwandeling aan door nabijgelegen rijstveld. Erg mooi en leuk met een stukje achtergrond informatie. Huur een motor bij mooi weer, verken de prachtige omgeving. Je kijkt je ogen uit!

Wij hadden geluk met 30 graden en alleen maar zon. Het hotel ligt hoog en afgelegen. Met regen ben je beperkt. Grab is niet mogelijk, locale taxi is duur (vergeleken met andere prijzen in Bali).

Et helt igennem fantastisk ophold – uden tvivl et af de bedste steder, vi nogensinde har boet. Udsigten er simpelthen ubeskrivelig. Den er endnu smukkere i virkeligheden end på billederne, og vi blev aldrig trætte af at sidde og nyde den. At vågne op med udsigt til Mount Agung og den frodige natur var ren magi. Personalet er noget af det mest imødekommende og hjertevarme, vi nogensinde har oplevet. De møder én med et smil, er utroligt hjælpsomme og får én til at føle sig som en æresgæst fra det øjeblik, man ankommer. Maden var en oplevelse i sig selv – alt, hvad vi smagte, var helt fantastisk, frisklavet og fyldt med smag. Poolen er lige så imponerende som resten af stedet og det perfekte sted at slappe af, mens man nyder den spektakulære udsigt. Patal Kikian Villas er et helt særligt sted, som har sat sig fast i vores hjerter. Vi kan ikke anbefale det varmt nok til alle, der besøger Bali. Én ting er helt sikkert – vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage!

Täydellinen syrjäinen sijainti akkujen lataamiseen. Vain 9 majoitusyksikköä mahdollisti rauhallisuuden ja hiljaisuuden. Välillä altaalla ja ravintolassa sai olla kaksistaan. Infinity pool upea.Ruuan laatu erinomainen. Kaikkea pystyi syömään ilman pelkoa bali-bellystä. Allasbaarissa jopa pyyhittiin olutpullot ennen tarjoamista. Hyvät hieronnat ja hoidot spassa, kävin siellä joka päivä! Jopa spasta uskomattomat näköalat. Maisemat hotellista todella upeat!!! Turvallinen sijainti kukkulan laella, josta kuuli ainoastaan luonnon ääniä.

Viiden päivän oleskeluun ruokalista paikallisten ruokien osalta liian suppea. En halua syödä Indonesiassa länsimaalaista ruokaa. Enemmän valikoimaa. Ruoka oli myös mietoa, mutta tulisuutta sai pyytämällä. Altaalla kaksi aurinkotuolia rikki painuneet. Paremmat aurinkotuolit (pehmusteet?)ja ehjät varjot joka paikalle. Pieni giftshop voisi tuoda lisämyyntiä. Kylästä löytyy mm. kaiverruspajaa, kankaankudontaa ja hopeatöitä, ehkä näitä myyntiin hotellille? Maisemat mahdollistaisi myös paikalliselle valokuvaajalle mahdollisuuden tarjota valokuvauspalveluita majoittujille? Tulisi komeita kuvia näissä maisemissa.

The main attraction of this hotel is the view and the pool area. That’s what you’re paying the money for

The mosquito nets on the bed don’t cover the bed, so we gave up with them on the first night. My chicken came out raw on the first night, so had to send it back. They recooked it and still had the cheek to charge full price!! The restaurant isn’t great and is expensive. Most of the dishes are avocado based and thy ran out of avocado by lunch!! The staff are friendly but unorganised. It took them 30mins to bring our bags down to the car when we were leaving Nowhere near enough water provided per room. You are literally in the middle of nowhere, so they should provide mineral water for guests, free of charge Without the view and the pool area, this hotel wouldn’t be anywhere near as good

The most breathtaking view of our entire Bali trip. Out of all the places we stayed during our Bali holiday, Patal Kikian Villas had the most incredible view. Waking up every morning to the mountains, lush green rice terraces, and the peaceful surroundings was simply unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place to truly relax and enjoy the beauty of Bali, this is it. Our villa was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bed was great, the room had everything we needed, and the private plunge pool overlooking the scenery was the perfect place to unwind. The resort also has a larger infinity pool if you feel like going for a proper swim, and the views from there are just as spectacular. The staff were wonderful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. One complimentary massage and a floating breakfast were included in our stay, and both were fantastic. The restaurant served delicious food at very reasonable prices, so we found ourselves eating there often. The location is also excellent for exploring the area. It’s a great base for visiting both Besakih Temple and Tirta Gangga, while still enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that makes Sidemen so special. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay. We would happily return if we visit Sidemen again.

Honestly, I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like about our stay. Beautiful villas, amazing food, kind people—but above all, that view. It is one of those places you’ll remember long after your trip is over.

Una nota negativa è stato il cibo, che è abbastanza buono, ma forse non il migliore che abbiamo mai mangiato in Indonesia. Sicuramente un pochino alto il costo, ma sicuramente giustificato anche dalla posizione e dalla vista

Espectaculares vistas. Servicio impecable, masajes buenos, restaurante de buena calidad, habitación de alto nivel, trabajadores muy amables. En definitiva un hotel de 10/10. Maravilloso.

Que estaban permitidos niños que en este tipo de hoteles silenciosos son un poco molestos. Al estar un poco apartado necesitas moto o taxi para acercarte al pueblo u otras zonas y que si vas desde el aeropuerto hay un traslado largo.

La vue de la piscine est incroyable, les chambres très spacieuses. La nourriture est très bonne et quantités généreuses. Mention spécial pour le spa qui est vraiment bien avec une vue magnifique.

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas correctement nous étions obligé de laisser les rideaux occultant fermés alors que nous avions une très jolie vue. La nuit nous avions très chaud. Le restaurant de l hôtel par rapport à l année dernière à perdu en qualité.

La salle de bain (extérieure) pourrait être un peu plus fermée / intimiste.

Un véritable havre de paix, une vue extraordinaire, le personnel est adorable et au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et il y a une très belle carte pour dîner le soir. Tout est délicieux. Absolument à recommander !

First, I would like to mention the positive aspects. The view was absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of our stay. The surroundings were beautiful, and the staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience did not meet our expectations. The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the room. From the moment we arrived, we noticed blood stains and other marks on the bed cover, which immediately gave a poor first impression. Throughout our stay, we also encountered numerous lizards, insects, and spiders inside the room, making it very uncomfortable and difficult to relax or sleep peacefully. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor that persisted during our stay, and the air conditioning did not function properly, leaving the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. We were often sweating inside the room, which significantly affected our overall comfort. In addition, the mattress and pillows were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The food was average at best, and the breakfast buffet offered a very limited selection. Overall, we did not particularly enjoy the dining experience. While the stunning view and kind staff deserve recognition, the poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lack of comfort greatly impacted our stay. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the standard we expected, and because of these issues, we would not choose to stay here again.

Alors là je suis bluffée! Je voulais préparer une surprise à mon mari pour notre lune de miel et son anniversaire (déco' de fleurs etc) nous avons carrément été surclassés. Le personel lui a même souhaité un joyeux anniversaire en venant chanter et lui faire souffler une bougie pendant le petit déjeuner. Au delà de ça c'est un très beau lieu, nous serions bien rester quelques jours de plus. Une grosse pensée encore au personnel qui a été formidable! Merci pour tout!

Het uitzicht, fenomenaal!! Het personeel was ook uitermate vriendelijk. We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad en komen zeker nog terug!

De accomodatie (kamer, badkamer) is wat verouderd. Deze zou een update mogen krijgen.

Very nice view of Agung mountain and rice fields. Very nice bungalow clean and confortable. Good restaurant. And last but not least nice staff. Thank you Dewi for your warm welcome

The path road to arrive to the hotel is quite dangerous in scooter. Need an improvement

We rented a one bedroom private pool villa and it was absolutely stunning. The photos on booking.com really don't do justice to how spacious and luxurious the villa really was. The private pool is really long (15 m or so, one can properly swim in it) and the views are stunning. It can't get better than this! The villa is also very private. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. I only wished we stayed there longer!

Very small things which could have been better, but didn't impact the absolutely positive experience we had: There were no sockets next to the bed, and also the mosquito net over the bed was very impractical - impossible to properly close it.

Un véritable havre de paix, une vue à couper le souffle ( suite plunge). La carte est variée et bonne. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

We absolutely loved our stay at Patal Kikian Villa. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, offering breathtaking views that made our stay truly memorable. The room was beautiful, tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We were also delighted to find a selection of delicious fresh fruit waiting for us in the room upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of tasty options to start the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Patal Kikian Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay.

Franchement c’est le meilleur logement de tout notre voyage. C’est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Mon conseil: levez vous a 6h pour voir le soleil se lever avec un environnement un peu brumeux… c’est à couper le souffle. Il y a un bar à côté de la piscine c’est très agréable et des plats peuvent également être livré au bord de la piscine. Pensez à louer un scooter pour faire tous les environs en autonomie c’est vraiment top. La douche se trouve en extérieur c’est tellement agréable. Le personnel est au petit soin. Honnêtement j’y reviendrai si nous revenons à Bali c’est un endroit de rêve ! Le petit dej est très bon, beaucoup de choix et toujours la vue ! Franchement les repas étaient tous délicieux.

La suite Plunge était très comfortable avec une vue spectaculaire. Personnel aimable et prévenant. Bonne qualité du WiFi. Belle carte au restaurant pour dinner le soir. Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

OMG!!!! SUPER personeel. Niks is te gek. Gewoon even een appje sturen en het wordt geregeld! Wat een locatie, prachtig !! Huur een scooter en je kunt gemakkelijk en goedkoop de hele buurt verkennen. En het huisje ook echt geweldig. Het leek wel een balzaal!

Niks viel tegen, alleen had de airco op een andere plek gekund. Het huisje is zooooo groot, dat je de airco bij het bed, in de richting van het bed beter uitkomt!

Le personnel est génial, adorable. On y retrouve la paix escomptée. Et que dire de cette vue depuis chaque endroit de l’hôtel.

Beaucoup de moustiques et de fourmis dans la villa, parfois un gecko traînera aussi sur votre plafond. Mais c’est la nature, sachez-le tout de même en venant ici.

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast and room. View was amazing and i was given a free 20 minutes foot massage on arrival which was amazing after a long day off travelling. Resturant food is very reasonably priced.

Waking up every morning to such a stunning panorama was truly unforgettable. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and everything is very well maintained. The staff takes great care of the property and creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to the chef — the food was absolutely delicious. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We genuinely looked forward to every breakfast and dinner. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with incredible views, excellent cleanliness, and amazing food, I highly recommend this hotel. We would be happy to stay here again! 🌋❤️
