I can’t comment on the staff as it was self check in. We didn’t see any staff except a lovely lady running the breakfast. She was great. But, there is a general lack of warmth because of the lack of staff.

il est malheureusement situé juste en face d'un restaurent qui peut être très animé en soirée ! ma chambre donnai directement sur celui ci et les fenêtre n'étant pas si hermétique que ça j'ai subie les nuisance sonore jusqu'a 1h du matin...

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Amabilité exceptionnelle du personnel (Mariana) qui nous a bien rendu service pour trouver la meilleure solution à un problème logistique que nous avions Hotel très sympathique au coeur de la vieille ville de Saint Nicolas à 2 pas de la gare et de l'église qui vous berce de son tintement toutes les 15 minutes ! Sinon très calme. Excellent petit déjeuner Très bonne literie et bonne taille de chambre Petit restaurant/pizzeria juste en face et commerce de dépannage à 2 pas.

Zimmer war etwas dunkel und quasi ebenerdig direkt zur Gasse raus.

Morgens 7.40 frühstücksbuffet quasi leergeräumt! Ausser 2 brötchen, ein Croissant, zwei scheiben schinken und 3 joghurts gab es nichts mehr… und das personal schien es nicht wirklich zu kümmern…

We were not able to make a hot drink as the Nexpresso machine in our was broken. With the hotel being a self check-in there was no staff available to assist with a replacement.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Nach einem lebhaften Aufenthalt in Zermatt war die Übernachtung in St. Niklaus eine ruhige Oase. Das Hotel ist neu, modern eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet (inkl. Kaffee/Tee Nespresso Maschine). Das Doppelbett super bequem. Das Einchecken war voll automatisch mit der Option telefonisch Wünsche einzugeben. Frühstück war für den Hotelpreis und die Hotelgrösse ok. Alles sauber, die Frühstücksdame freundlich.
Das einzige Schwierigkeit ist der Transfer vom Hotel zum Bahnhof, falls man schwere Koffer mit Roller hat, da es bergauf geht und der Weg steinig ist.

The idea of pure self check in is a joke. No one was available by phone for immediate questioning, and we had to figure out for more than a hour where is free the parking of the hotel, and eventually we had to park very far away from the hotel and it wasn’t free. In addition, in the morning when we used the elevator we saw used bed sheets thrown on the floor. We payed a decent amount and the bare minimum is to respect the guest by welcoming them. Disgraceful.

The room was super clean and cute i love it.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut. Man wurde perönlich betreut, man bekam den Kaffee an den Tisch serviert. Verschiedenste Speisen mit Ei wurden extra frisch zubereitet und ebenfalls serviert.
Für ältere alleine reisende Personen könnte der self-check-in eine Herausforderung darstellen.

It would have been nice for the room to have had the heating on, even if it was minimal. It was self check in hotel so no reception. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and everything was closed in the village.

This is a self serve hotel, which is Ok, however they neglected to send me the code to enter the building and access my room. The phone number provided was not helpful and it took a while to, track down a person who gave us the code.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Bin viel Geschäftlich unterwegs und habe in vielen Hotels übernachtet, aber mein Zimmer 203 war bisher das beste, schönste und sauberste wo ich belegt habe! Bin begeistert und werde 100% auch Privat nochmals kommen.
Was mir nicht gefallen hat war, das ich leider keine Zeit fürs Frühstück hatte......aber nächstes mal

Não gostei do auto cheking, O estacionamento fica um pouco afastado do hotel.

平板自助check in,reception無人，刷卡扣款有問題，就拿不到房卡進房門。求助無門，還是先前走錯鄰居家遇到的女士，好心過來看看，幫我們聯絡同老闆的另一家旅館，我們步行過去那家旅館，等老闆回來解決。等候時 那位女士還請旅館員工給我們2杯免費咖啡。最後是老闆直接給我們房卡，要我們第二天早餐時再找服務人員刷卡扣款。找到旅館再到入住，共耗了將近3小時。這期間我們試圖請Booking協助，制式的回覆24小時內處理；我們早預定的旅館入住有問題，要再等24小時內回覆？！若不是遇到那位女士，我們真要在瑞士露宿街頭！下次再也不敢找無人接待的旅館。
