The place is nice and fun, but the rooms and amenities are not well maintained.
The place is old.
Food on the canteen was not clean. We eat there for lunch. Then they serve the same food for dinner. Nothing u can order or choices. Some of the food like pizza closed at 19 pm..This is the first and last..
Ambiance is so good especially for children.
This accommodation clearly has no concerns about a bad review. Where to start? Check in was appalling, disinterested staff, surly welcome, no information provided. We had to ask everything. The room was expensive for a dirty, mouldy, disfunctional space. No hot water, no cups or mugs provided, threadbare towels looked 20 years old. Sheets were dirty and old. The bathroom sink was blocked. It smelled badly of mould. It was very noisy, rubbish everywhere. The rides and pools were okay. The place looks tired, several things under repair or construction made it feel like a building site which was an eyesore and unsafe for children. Limited supervision and poorly managed. Despite saying we could bring a 4 year old to the room for no extra charge, they proceeded to charge me 800 pesos per night. The food was awful, expensive and had limited choice. How can anybody make such terrible rice is beyond explanation. Under-cooked eggs, old food, terrible service, chaotically managed. They continually ran out of trays, utensils, water and even soy sauce in the dining area and of course the queues were incredibly lengthy. We had to queue for 30 minutes for breakfast one day. Just unacceptable for 5000 pesos per night. The rides were okay. The pool areas were average. Stay away and go to Sipalay instead.
Great
An overnight stay is not recommended. The blankets are too small and not suitable for a cold weather which is expected in a highland resort. Our door in bonita hut is broken. Too few power sockets and is also broken. And the most terrible part is there’s no available housekeeping and front office 24/7 which is very wrong for a HOTEL and resort.
Awesome artwork around, sad that the zipline had a weight limit of 60kg as that was probably the only adult friendly thing to do. Not very much food options as well, check out was noon and the pizza place barely opened as well as the souvenir shop.
Great place
Nice view and good for children because there is plenty to do for them.
Fun, enjoyable, great place for our kids.
Would be better if log rooms have aircon.
Campuestohan is an Adventure! In one word, Campuestohan Highland Resort is fun. It is one of the best water parks I've seen in the Philippines. To give you a clearer understanding I'll compare it to the American water park resort Schlitterbahn in Texas. Both parks have a wave pool, water slides, Beach Cabanas, campsites, lodging, restaurants, free ample parking, live events, and on-site shopping. Campuestohan has characters walking the grounds for impromptu photo opportunities. Schlitterbahn dosent have this feature. Schlitterbahn has more water rides. forty-three as of 2023. However no zip lines. Campuestohan has zip lines, bike zip lines, a suspended zip line confidence/obstacle course, a hanging rope bridge, an animatronic dinosaur park (included with entry), a merry-go-round (included with entry), and a spa. Schlitterbahn is considered the best water park in the United States. But, if both parks were in the States, Campuestohan would have the "Best Waterpark" title with little to no argument.
Nice resort. Beautiful environment. Though for me, the walking is strenous, uphill, downhill, with many steps - not for seniors and PWDs. Limited rooms for accommidation. Pricey, too. Can be the resort's improvement to add more rooms. Only 1 main restaurant, location may be far depends on your chosen cottage, but there were food kiosks on some parts.
Lovely place and good for relaxing,
Spent almost P30,000 at your resort, expecting a great time, but it fell short. Dead bugs on the stairs and a room stench welcomed me and my family. Asked for a new room, got a Lysol spray. Toilet issues, messy plumber, and no front desk help. AC struggled, hot water issues, and no real solutions offered. Despite my concerns, only got 500 pesos back. Disappointed with the experience and hope you take this seriously for future guests.
Clean, staff were great and checking in was fast
I like the place it’s so wide, beautiful and has a lot of amenities as we enjoyed our stay. However, the room that we rented didn’t have hot water for shower, TV wasn’t working and people smoking everywhere most especially in the Veranda near to our room, it’s not so safe for us. There should be the designated places to smoke.
We spent overnight here and the experience was great especially we have small kids. They had so much fun running and playing around. They did not really enjoyed swimming at that time as it was too windy and they felt cold. The place is perfect especially for the kids, they have plenty of swimming pools and play ground. Acommodation is poor, the price is expensive to what they offered. The room is poorly/cheaply constructed. The door was so noisy (made of galvanized sheet), poor lighting, not properly cleaned and have limited water/hot shower. The shower stops, so be careful not to spent more time showering otherwise you cannot rinse yourself. Restaurant/food: they served the same food from lunch to dinner. Note, the food were there exposed all day, what was left behind from lunch is still served for dinner. NO food safety. They don't do "made to oder" food except for sandwiches, hamburger or fries. Staff are friendly. Booking experience thru their website was ok. Bit disappointed that they have limited information about their rooms. They only showed limited accommodations on their website, where you are forced to book what is available but when I called them to change the 1 room I booked (as their website only showed one room available) but they had more. Just regret that I did not book over the phone. I thought they are fully booked at that time as they have have only limited rooms available online, but maybe that was their marketing strategy as when we are there, very limited people stayed overnight. So far, our experience was good, happy to see the kids had fun. If you are planning to stay overnight, dont expect a lot on the accomodation and food -these are very basic that caters quantity not quality!
Didn't like that the sheets, towels and the extra foam mattress were not very clean, it lacked rugs, hand towels, some lights were not working, the stand fan was wobbly and looked like it would break apart, the room was dim. The dining room tables and chairs had ants. There were very limited food choices
The place is very clean the staff very nice and accommodating the service is great
I and my friends just got home from campuestuhan highland resort,.I guess I need to write and post this review for them to evaluate their service and all. 1. SLOW AND POOR ONLINE PAYMENT TRANSACTION- it should be a surprised birthday celebration for our friend and it was planned by his husband but the thing was it was difficult to call someone in their side who will assist and confirm If the payment was received by them. We paid in half for 2 days, and when were about to check out my friend settled the balance of our stay. She was so shocked that the amount endorsed by the their staff is not the same amount she deposited in advance. .. good thing was one of our friend managed to keep the receipts in his email.. You guys should have a proper endorsement, specially in this kind of stuff. As what I observed in your information desk or F.O you don’t have any telephone or even a desktop where you can monitor your coming and outgoing guest. it is very important because most of the people will transact through online to easily without hustle. 2. ATTITUDE and POOR SERVICE - when we arrived we don’t feel a warm welcome by the Front office staff, or just ask how’s your travel or what because we’re so delayed to check in because of some malfunction of the car. I’m not saying here the we want to be felt important. I’m just giving you a tip on how to make your first time guest to be your repeated guest. And when we’re about to check out not even the F.O or the guards when we left said. thank you for visiting or come again, or How’s your stay at campuestuhan. .. .. it’s just so sad if all of the guest that came here feel what we felt. I don’t know why some of their staff in the restaurant, when we will ask question they don’t make an eye contact. And I don’t like how annoyed their face look like.. they keep doing what they’re doing even we asked them a question. And the end we don’t understand what they said. 3. INEFFICIENT HOUSEKEEPING- I don’t know if the housekeeping staff knows that we’re four staying in a Bonita hut but they given us 2 towels only, good thing we brought some towels. It’s really hard to call or ask them because you have to walk before you can ask what you need. .so by the next day good thing they give us complete toiletries including toothbrushes as well. 4. LACK OF AMENITIES- the room is nice but there is no TV, no ref no telephone.so sad. 5. WE JUST LOVE THE PLACE AND THE VIEW.
It would be better if the breakfast served was hot and freshly cooked.
There was no wifi, water pressure for shower and sink was a trickle. Staff was mostly unavailable and my biggest complaint was that the lifeguard on duty at the kids wavepool barely raised his head from his phone to look at the kids, it was ridiculous. Besides that the options for the kids were pretty nice.
We ordered double room, but was double booked and got one full bed cottage, bed room for 6-8 persons, bed was hard and much ants in the room. Cipline only can hold persons below 65, so none of us got to try it. No wave due to they only wanted to run it if there was plenty of peoples. The Dinosaur park was nice at night, nothing was going on during day. We cut a 2 day holiday short and only stay 1 day.
Great experience last 2017 with the family. The area is quite massive you have a lot of choices to choose from for your children. Their water park was awesome It's big as well. What i like is their hobbit house It's like you were in the Harry Potter movie. Apart from that they have good food to eat. I hope to be back soon..my children enjoyed it a lot...
Ambience safe clean
Landscape
Good area
I love the staff; the place is ok but could be better. Need more cleaning in the bathroom specially the walls.Food in the main restaurant is monotonous, it’s the same dishes everyday. Absolutely no fresh fruit for sale.
It was fine. It was interesting. The staff on grounds were very helpful to help. But service at desk or information help inside was hard to find
It's show that they have a WiFi but no WiFi at all and the shower it show hot and cold but is only cold No hot water...
This place is 2,400 + feet above sea level. Temp was at 26 degrees and back in the city it was scorching hot at 32 so this was such a great place to bring kids for an entire day of fun. They have accommodations but we only visited for the day. Entrance is at 250 pesos each for 3yrs old above. I would recommend staying at least a night if you have kids because they need to take a serious nap after a long day of swimming and running around. When they wake up, they can do it all over again. If your kids can sleep in one of the covered picnic tables this is a good option too. I personally love the cooler weather. Food served in the restaurant is competitive and tastes good. You can also bring your own food and drinks and consume it in designated areas. We went during a weekday to avoid the large crowds
Not a single space is wasted in this property. It's beautiful everywhere you look at. Plus the cabin we stayed at is very spacious. How I wish there was a small kitchen where we can cook in each cabin
Good for kids & family. But i booked for 4 person and just gave us 1 cup of coffee & i trued to ask more in the reception said only 1 is alliwed in every room, dhe adviced me to ask in cafeteria plastic cup but i need to pay . The restaurant is closed at 7 pm which is too early but 1 pizza shop is until 8 pm , it would be nice to extend untill 9:40 pm Hotel Transport service is not on time and driving fast.
A jewel paradise of fan and play. this place is something for the family.games, bonding, thrill fun, ambience and moat of all picnic for family and friends.great facility and awesome landscapes.something that everyone can enjoy.theres also a resto where you can dine at affordable price
Room dirty, pillows dirty, water heater not properly fix to wall and wiring bad. 1 night stay maximum. But better stay bacolod and use a cottage. 4000 pesos for a small dirty hut, can get lfisher hotel, seda or radisson same price nice room. The park also low maintenance, many things broken and not work like before.
Staff is accommodating. Good food.
So there’s lots of stuff to do. Lots of water issues. If I were still young enough to go onto the obstacle course, I’d be afraid that I might get killed. Looks quite challenging. Seems like the whole place is not well maintained but it is charming. My biggest problem is that in the Philippines giving a hotel room without an air conditioner is just not acceptable. Lots of hillclimbing and that’s not a lot of fun for an older guy.
Highly recommended for everyone!
I bokked this for my family as i am currently in the US. I messaged the property twice ans never heard any reaponse bqck. Some things werent open and no where was it stated at booking that rides wouldnt be open. Everything about this place is misleading. Will never go back or recommend in any way.
I heard alot about this waterpark until me and my family finally decided to visit. The activities were so exciting and it is nice for all ages. There are three type of pools to choose from. Staff is friendly. Food is not the best thing inside All in all we had an amazing time with my family.
Family of 3. Tried to check in but front desk clerk was "out to lunch" so we had to wait for their lunch hour was finished before we could check in. Fortunately it was only about 15 minutes. Room was spartan, wifi didn't work and neither did the TV. Asked for another towel as there were only two in the apartment, towel never arrived. Asked for ice for some perishables, they charged us 50P then 150P for ice that they were going to throw out anyway. The staff at the ticket counter seemed confused, first certain rides were open, then closed, then, "maybe later". Rules kept on popping up depending on who we spoke to, we couldn't do the zip line with wet clothes, then sandals were prohibited, when we came back with dry clothes and shoes the rides were "closed". Wave pool never worked. Despite all this the 15 year old loved the rides that were open and the fantasy decorations and displays. This place has so much potential if only they trained their staff and considered customer service as the ice thing was irritating, they made us jump through hoops for a small amount of money and for ice they told us they were going to throw out anyway! I'd go again as the kids liked the park but wouldn't stay at the lodging.
Beautiful scenery, surrounded by the mountains, we went last January, so the weather is cool and so nice to roam around. There were plenty of swimming pools you can choose. I love the view, it is sooo instagramable. We didn't stay overnight, so we had just fun taking pictures at every corner. The price of food is reasonable but the taste is not something that makes me say WOW. I enjoyed most at the sky bicycle as it was my first time.
The attractions are run down, but it's basically just a swimming pool complex. Don't spend the night. Our family had to change rooms due to lack of running water in the bathroom, and water dripping from the ceiling of our suite. Burnt out lights, poor housekeeping, and bland breakfast. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Been here 2 days ago with my family We rent the king kong room, but upon check in we've noticed its under construction, receptionist didn't even informed us. Bottles of beer scattered around 😔, we dont want to ruin our day so we just ignored it.., the food is ok for its price and quantity but not the taste and quality.. My daugther really enjoyed the kiddie pool and the scenery as well though the water in the pool is so cold given it was located in the mountain, they also have a mini amusement park but its not operating that day maybe because of the weather.. Overall we still have a great experienced..
Once you entered the resort, you would be transported into a diff. place as you went further into the wave pool. We stayed overnight in their regular windmill room which is located near the resto, hanging bridge and massage room. Each type of room offers unique accomodation. Each nook is a great opportunity to take great pictures. The place will be greatly enjoyed by young and old. The only thing that needs improvement is their food, but overall a great stay!
After a family wedding, our family (member of 12) came to stay here for 2 nights. We rented 3 Cabins and those cabins were disgustingly dirty. The sheets had blood stains they had to change it 3 times. Each time they change it, there were stains. Cockroaches everywhere and ants. I had to complain and they moved us to their Bonita Huts. We looked at 4 Bonita Huts and 3 of them had nasty stains on the sheets. The cleanliness of their rooms are so horrible. Electric Fans were so dusty, under the beds dusty. One of the person that works there told us that with all the rooms they have there, they only have 6 room service people. They have to use a Laundry service to wash their sheets. So anything that comes back they dont care if it has stains. Their sheets and towels are no longer white!! There were no hot water, running water pressure was so low. I think we went up to their front desk 6 times to complain about the rooms and how horribly dirty they were. Then their dining area was also dirty. Each morning we come to have breakfast, the tables have not been cleaned from the night before and ants were everywhere. I think they should just remove their accommodation part, if they cannot keep up with cleanliness. I feel like one of these days someone is going to sue them when a visitor contracts some type of disease. I was so scared of how huge the cockroaches were on the bathroom sink.
The place is clean and the staff are very helpful. Nice resort better than crowded stinky Boracay.
Good facilities, kids had a great time, loved all the Christmas decorations.
Overall ambience is great. Both kids and adults can have fun. We stayed at the Bonita Hut: PROS: - Super huge bed good for 4 pax - Additional ceiling fan but AC is cool enough CONS: - Toilet heater is not working. We had to call maintenance atleast 2x during the night and once again in the morning. They should check the facilities first before they check-in their clients. - Leaking water in the toilet bowl - Space for walking is too small. if you have large bags/luggages/backpacks ther is not enough space for walking - we had to request for rugs since there is none inside the room.
We attended a family gathering in Bacolod and we made sure not to miss this place before coming back home to Cebu. This is a fun place for a family to visit. Child-friendly facilities, accommodating and friendly staff, relaxing ambience. The food was decent and prices are reasonable. This is really an awesome place for kids and kids at heart!
If you call them for inquiries, they are not responding. The telephone number they gave just keep on ringing! If you send a message no reply! Useless! You have a nice park, modern and it looks like enjoyable but improve your costumer service! It's also important!
Not so good service. All staff not very attentive. The food is gross and pricey..Bonita hut is dirty and lots of ants in your bed.The beddings are not clean..very dissappointing.toilet bowl is not working..Campueztuhan is the best place for kids.but no **t⁶
The place is great if you see the pictures but this resort lacks maintenance. It is as if the concept is to build and earn money and then there are no plans to keep this place together. I don't know how this place would keep up in five years. It probably will, but I am definitely not going back there. We stayed for one night, in the bonita hut. We originally booked the other hut that was slightly smaller but the rooms were so dirty that we had to ask for another one. We were mistakenly transferred to a Bonita Hut that was not cleaned at all. So we had to complain, glad we did. Turns out, we were given the wrong room. We finally settled in. Insects are all over the place, the faucet is wobbly, I cannot emphasized enough that the rooms are not maintained, sadly. The sheets are full of stains, albeit they smell newly washed. There is leaking somewhere in the bathroom, verrry cold shower. Rain and wind would have been nothing, if only the pools are well maintained and properly heated. But they were not. My daughter and I tried to go in for a swim and returned to our hut. The cafe in the resort has good food. All in all, I don't want to come back here again.
too far from the city, the rides are a bit pricey. The pictures taken by the resort photographer is too expensive but nice. we’re disappointed the bubble drop and wave wasn’t turned on during our stay, & the paragliding was not functional.
En opplevelse og overnatte der... Rent, pent og spennende.
Overall the park itself is great with a lot of family activities. My first concern is that the shower and bathroom facilities are horrid! Very dirty!! Second, there is no handsoap to be found anywhere throughout the park's bathrooms. They have a restaurant on site along with other food vendor kiosks and I'm sure that goes against several health code violations that their staff can't wash their hands properly before returning to work. Third, none of the toilet's have seats. Last is that before the park even closed, they kicked everyone out of the pools so they could chlorinate them. Very poor customer service!!
we stayed at dino house, room is so clean, water si called, perfect for the whole day outdoor events inside campuestohan. Food is good and in teasonable price. Please keep up the most important and what we like most is the cleanliness in everywhere within the vicinity to the rooms. I will recommend you to everyone.
I book with them which I payed in full amount in Hotel.com. But they keep insisting the style payement of Trivago method. Me and my family was put in a small room not worth my payment. They even ask me to pay extra 2 person charges, because as Trivago method they follow. Even I show them my email booking i payed in full and the money how much i payed, still they followed the Trivago method payments. I was so disappointed, i don't know where to blame? Its either Hotel.com mistake? Or Campuestuhan Resort? I end up paying more and i feel bad I was deceived and fraud.
