Friendly welcome, room was lovely and super clean. Bathroom was fab. We ate in the restaurant which had a varied menu, our meals were freshly cooked and tasty. The seating area outside is covered and there's plenty of space. Parking wasn't a problem. Light breakfast is left for you to help yourself to in the garden room, cereal, toast, fruit. We'd definitely stay here again if we come back to that area.

We had drinks and dinner - all very good. Room very good - if a little hot - but we were mid heat wave - there was a fan which moved the warmth about - not their fault there was a heat wave! They had 2 girls running service, in the evening - they worked their socks off - knew the menu - remembered what you wanted without writing it down - they did not stop all night - it was impressive

Dinner options were excellent. The service was fast. Food looked and tasted very good.

The rooms and pub had everything we needed for a nights stay. The light breakfast was easy and set us up for our onward journey.

It may be beneficial to have a designated 'check in area' that is separate from the main bar.

The room was lovely, we entered and the radio was already on, it felt really welcoming. The room was a good size and was really clean and pleasant, it felt modern but still had a touch of authenticity. There was a fan in the room which was appreciated!

The dinner service was a bit of a disaster, a lot of the food was so salty especially the starter which was so heavily salted it was inedible. The main of my partner came with a sauce which was also incredibly salty. The desert order was wrong two times and one desert came out with a big hair wrapped around it. However, the restaurant was very understaffed as they weren't expecting so many customers midweek, I can't fault the service staff; they did incredibly well under the strain and demand and rectified all my issues, so top marks for them. This isn't the fault of the hotel but the road out front is incredibly busy throughout the night, I'm a heavy sleeper and even I struggled to sleep through the constant rumble of HGV's.

The bed was very comfy, the en-suite shower had a good selection of gels/shampoo to use & the towels were good quality. Breakfast was continental style, with individual kilner pots of their own prepared granola pots. James was an excellent host & very helpful.

Lovely hotel , warm , welcoming, very friendly, helpful staff and very convenient to Bristol airport .A very nice way to start your holiday .It's a pretty boutique hotel and definitely be coming here again 😁

It was lovely but we found dog mess in parts of the garden we have a dog so this is down to the disgusting dog owners perhaps the pub should put up a sign in the garden was a shame

Ideal location for Bristol airport - literally minutes away. Staff were very helpful when some of our party were delayed arriving.

Just to be aware there were no meals served on a sunday evening.

Breakfast on the second date was ok, but on the first date there was very little choice by 9.15. All pastries were gone as were the granola pots. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Bedroom nicely decorated.

I was surprised to find when I arrived at 8.15 p.m. that the bar was about to close. I had expected that there would have been the option for a full English breakfast at extra cost but that wasn't on offer. The bedroom I had was very close to the road and busy late at night and early in the morning. Because the weather was hot it was essential to have the window open at night so sleep was very limited.

Clean and comfortable, great outside area to sit on warm evenings. Food service good, as was the food quality.

The location. The room was small but comfortable and beautifully presented. The bath products were lovely. Breakfast was an added extra.

The TV wouldn’t turn off. Couldn’t open the blind as the cord was broken. The water went off at one point.

We were in the room overlooking the property dumpsters, the “Best” it was called. So we’re unable to open window fully because of flies.

The room was smaller than expected with no wardrobe area and leaking shower. Plus road noise The evening meal was a disaster, the starters orders were totally forgotten after one hour of waiting mains then arrived with no apology from the staff. Wine from the list could was not available. When later complaining to the person in charge his surly attitude was very poor with no excuse or apology offered

Breakfast was ok in that it was continental self service however choice of pastries were very limited. The room was unbearably hot. There was a fan but it wasn’t up to the job and the window only opened a little. I guess this is for safety. . I accept it was an exceptionally hot day/night but it needed more than that on this occasion. That said I imagine it would be really warm and cosy in winter. With the velux in the bathroom it needs a blind to stop the sun. I would definitely stay again just not in a heateave

The room was warm but we stayed there on one of the hottest days in this heatwave. There was an air coolant machine in the room and this partially helped but obviously not a good as an a/c machine would have been. Otherwise everything was excellent. We had an evening meal which was v good and staff were excellent

The George Inn was full of character with its old stone walls and wooden beams ,and the stairs to the rooms took me back years, they were quant The staff were friendly and polite. And the Inn was nicely located for our visit to the area

The restaurant looked tired in places ,the green cushions on the benches looked as if they had seen better days the carpet was worn in places the rooms were clean ,but lacked air conditioning ( it was 30 degrees ) the window was hard to open The secondary glazing was stiff to raise and as for the outer wooden window it looked as if it would fall out if I tried to raise it ,you could say the room had character .

Very convenient for Bristol airport, I had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and the hotel supplied a wonderful continental breakfast. The room was large with a lovely en suite, tea/Coffee in the room and an extremely comfortable bed. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back.

The manager has switched off the phones as they were busy so we travelled for 2 hours not knowing whether we would be too late bWe were given a twin room having booked a king size. The room was small. The washbasin was ridiculously small. The breakfast was poor. They did not know we had a pet despite me checking the pet box. And we had to pay an extra £25 - no prior information about this. The manager was obviously very tired and didn't seem bothered about the wrong room, the pretty charge, and the fact that the phones had been switched off

The stairs to the first floor were too steep, to carry a 20kg case up.or for the elderly.

No bottled water in room, had to request milk for tea, served fresh but went off over night as no fridge in room. The help your self breakfast is always disappointing.

The staff. The young staff were welcoming efficient and so kind. Food is first class in a lovely restaurant area.

Stayed obne night in a beautiful room and had a delicious self service breakfast very early in the morning - all laid out for people leaving early. Very organised for people going for flights to Airport. We were going to watch the Bristol half Marathon

From check in to check out all the staff were great. Really lovely to have the opportunity to have a continental breakfast which we weren't expecting. The housekeeper was really helpful in the morning.

There was Road noise from our room and I'm a light sleeper.

The room was very clean, lots of space and the bed was super comfortable. Despite being above a pub and on a main road there was no noise that could be heard. The bathroom looked great and was super clean, fantastic bath. Also the food was amazing if you are looking for somewhere to eat.

When we arrived the man who greeted us wasn't the most friendly, but the guy who took over was! There was no milk provided in the room for teas and coffee, which we weren't particularly bothered by so didn't ask for any but good to keep in mind. Also there is breakfast available but it is very basic, no cooked breakfast etc which would have been a nice addition.

The property is gorgeous with lovely rooms that are impeccable a good location for the airport about a 20 minute drive

We’ve stayed here a few times and the staff can be hit and miss very friendly but this trip we constantly have to remind the young staff to bring the food and drinks we’ve ordered. It’s not that they were busy all that we were on Julie impatient the one young man kept forgetting. I think there’s a training issue for the George.

Breakfast was very disappointing - it was not “continental”. There were some croissants, 3 small yoghurt pots, white bread only and a small selection of cereals. One guest said the cornflakes were stale. Also the rooms are not “accessible” as you have to navigate a narrow, steep staircase with turns in it.

Breakfast was apauling, no way was that a continental breakfast, bread was a box standard loaf....no brown or artisan as would expect, they ran out of yoghurt, the granola was just granola bars broken up by the look of it, no other jam apart from strawberry jam , only croissants was one type which where very dry ,like they been there for a while, had to find someone (the cleaner), for books and plates, no cheese or hams as you would expect on a continental...... Also the pictures of breakfast on your site do not represent what was on offer......

It's really convenient for Bristol airport, the continental breakfast in the hotel is very good as we had to leave at 2.30 .
