There was no one at reception and for breakfast even if it says it finishes at 10 there was nothing at 9.40 also door for kitchen was close

The rooms were really clean and the workers are very kind people!

Jason was super nice and provided clear instructions for check in. The dorm spacious and fresh towels were provided. The kitchen was also super clean.

It would have been better if there was curtains on the beds for privacy but thats the only improvement I can think of.

Hezký pokojík, koupelna s vanou, lednice v pokoji. Super sdílené prostory - malá kuchyňka, mikrovlnka, stroj na vodu. Snídaně jednoduchá ale stačí:) Milý a nápomocný personál. Lokalita je hned u autobusové zastávky, kousek od centra města, kde je plno možností jídla, kaváren, hezký park. Je to kousek od slavného mostu kolem kterého vede krásná procházka.

Ze začátku pobytu netekla teplá voda, ale stačilo napsat a hned zprovoznili. Snídaně jen toast, máslo, jam a mléko. Přidala bych třeba alespoň arašídové máslo / nutellu, ať je více na výběr:)

위치가 바깥쪽에 있지만 버스, 택시로 어디든 금방 갈 수있어 저는 좋았습니다~ 그리고 사장님이 너무 친절하시고 깨끗한 베개피 그리고 2개 수건 침대 커버로 청결하게 숙박을 할 수 있어 가성비가 아주 좋았습니다:) 추천😁

Good value for a quick pit stop in Andong-si, with simple breakfast included.

We had a doubles bed and had to use three single bed mattress covers horizontally instead of a well fit double sized one.

Haru The Guesthouse a répondu à tous mes critères (emplacement, confort, mise à disposition d'un coin repas, et rapport qualité-prix excellent). Le manager a répondu rapidement à toutes mes sollicitations et a même pris la peine de m'envoyer les informations nécessaires pour arriver chez lui !

Завтраков как таковых нет, хлопья, кровати скрипучие и некоторые короче человека, на краю города, но транспорта много, никаких кафе и магазинов рядом, вечером пустой район.

Bonne ambiance et le gérant est agréable. Le petit dej pris ensemble est cool aussi.

Guest house correcte au regard du prix. Petit-déjeuner rudimentaire en self-service (thé, toast et céréales). Hôte disponible par mail et téléphone.

Pas d'accueil physique. Lits à faire et défaire soi-même. Il manque une cafetière pour le petit-dejeuner. Un peu excentré du centre (500m), voisinage peu vivant. Chambre pour 2 personnes très petite.

It's really close to the restaurants area, and the owner gives you a long list of restaurant recommendations that are worth checking! Dorms are small, but decent, and it's possible to organize all the guests thing's. They have a locker for valuable belongings. It's 30 min away from the bus/train station, but not a problem as the bus station is right in front of the hostel Breakfast is super basic, but existent

Could have curtains on the windows to reduce light in the morning. Bunk beds make a lot of creaking noise if you or the person sleeping above you turns - I woke myself up while rolling in bed at night. There is no bed light or blackout curtains. The bathroom is inside the room and gets completely wet/washed while you shower - but you'll find this to be a very Asian bathroom style. Hairdryer needs to be used outside of the bathroom cause there is no plug inside Nothing that ruined the experience, just have in mind is a decent/simple value for money place

They provide a simple but nice breakfast.

Rooms are quite small with small window. For the price we have been in better hostels in korea.

It had parking and was relatively clean

For the price we didn’t expect it to be such a bad bedroom. We had to make the beds ourselves and that would have been fine if the sheets were the size of the bed and without holes on them. We got tiny towels for the body, the room was uncomfortable and so was the bathroom. Lastly the person who showed us around was quite impolite and not even there when we got to the place so we had to wait for at least 20 minutes wondering. They also send the info only through instagram which I thought was weird considering the booking was made through the Booking app.

Very clean and nice host.

Far from all the big activities (1h30 by bus one way) in or near Andong except for one museum.

Very simple accommodation but has everything you need. Clean, excellent location, great access to public transportation. Hot shower with superb water pressure was very much appreciated after long days of touring and exploring. Wifi was exceptionally strong. Went looking for a spot for dinner. Walked 10-minutes and came upon a wonderful little park, Andong Main Cultural Street and Andong Food Alley. Lots of restaurant options available, as well as Burger King and Subway if you're so inclined. Was a lovely surprise to happen upon this area.

Clean and comfy room, good breakfast included (toast, cereal, tea, coffee) and nice location on the edge of Andong city centre, plus an easy bus ride from the bus and train station. Jason is very friendly, messaged us with full check in details when an urgent matter meant he wasn't able to check us in in-person.

The heating blankets under the bed were nice. There were leaflets and bus timetables about Andong which helped.

When I arrived the owner wasn’t there, which was okay as he had given me instructions to get in. The kitchen had a microwave which was useful, but the sink was full of dishes I didn’t know if they were clean or dirty, and I didn’t think there was anyone else staying at the guesthouse so I wondered how long they were there for. I was very confused in the room as there were clean bedsheets which I had to put on the bed myself and I wasn’t really sure which was which. The wifi did not work throughout the entire night, the owner messaged and said to try different wifi connections but every single one didn’t work, he said he would fix it when he arrived but that never happened, so I ended up having to spend another 20,000KRW on mobile data. In the morning I had messaged if I could leave my bags in the house after check-out but there was no answer and there was nobody at the front desk either. The owner said it was an ‘emergency’ but after reading reviews it seems other guests have had the same problems and thought the owner was just asleep, which I think may be the case. For the entire stay I didn’t see or hear anybody in the building. Overall, pretty disappointing and I would not come back to stay again.

Jason, the host, was very kind. Since it’s low-season, he upgraded me to a private room and even offered cake and free drinks. The place was very clean and cosy. I was the only one staying for 2 nights but that’s because Korea is cold at this time of year. The hostel has a great common area so I’m sure would be social during high-season. A great stay overall :)

The owner is really nice, and the beds are good with a heating blanket, so you don't get cold.

Great value, decent rooms, friendly staff and very decent help-yourself breakfast. They’re also big fans of British bands and have posters of Oasis all over the walls!

Got bitten to hell and back by mosquitoes in the room (!) - also not their fault, but the train station has moved and hasn’t updated on Google maps yet, so is about a 30 minute bus from the train station.

The guesthouse is well located, just a couple of minutes away from Andong’s city center. Jason, the host, was super friendly and gave me many good recommendations. The room cleaning had finished by the time of my arrival, so I was able to check-in early, which I very much appreciated.

No one there nearly the whole time (neither other travellers nor staff, not even for the check in), had a weird vibe for me bacuse of that, smelly kitchen

The manager gave us nice recommendations, the place is cool and clean, it has everything you need.

He warned us the matress was in its original plastic bag, and we told him it didn’t matter, and I am sorry to say it but the quality of sleep is really affected by how thick the plastic is. It’s super loud when you move and they give you sheets to put on top of it but you sweat almost as if you were sleeping directly on it.

It has a good location, the staff is really kind, the room was a comfortable and clean, I really recommend this place.

Everything was perfect. I got a single bedroom instead of a dormatory bed. The room was clean. The owner gave me all the information to get to the guesthouse. He also gave me the address of a few restaurants and told me how to go to some places to visit. The father of the owner was super friendly, and we talked a bit using a translator on our phones. In the morning, you can have cereals with milk or toast with jam, with tea or coffee. I recommend it !

This is a really nice, comfortable hostel. The beds are comfortable and have a curtain, socket and light. The owners are kind, helpful and relaxed, and the place is clean.

Really nice quiet little hostel. Room was very clean. A lot of people in previous reviews mentioned plastic still being on the mattresses - that has now been removed at least in the women’s dorm, no crinkling. I was the only one in the room for the four nights I was there. It is on a quiet street away from the main area of the city but just a 10 minute walk to the main market and pedestrian area. Nice lounge area. Very simple breakfast provided. Manager Jason was extremely nice and helpful! WiFi worked well.

The kitchen is adequate for breakfast but maybe not stocked for any major cooking - you could do simple things but you’d also have to buy oil etc. But good cheap food is less than 10 minute walk away.

Great price for what you get! There is a decent kitchen, and en-suite bathrooms! Everything was clean and comfortable! Food street is about a 5-10 minute walk!

The location is a bit far but decent! Since the train station has moved to the outskirts of town you have to get local bus in which was manageable. Check in is late (5pm) but you can leave your bag should you make it in earlier which was nice!

Hepful, attentive, accommodating owners (e.g., I had been hours in rain and many things to hang outside to dry and I wasn't hassled about taking over the courtyard). Son speaks English, made good restaurant (close by) recommendation.

Note that there is a strict "no food in room" rule. And not the owners' fault, my navigation app NAVER couldn't pinpoint the place. I wound up parking then wandering around to locate.

Everything was clean and tidy. It was the festival time and we can enjoy the fireworks show from the window of the room. The staff was kind and nice, he introduced and suggested us lots of place to go and explore the area.

It was a nice property. Very efficient and a nice location in the downtown of Andong. There is a bus stop nearby to be able to get to the Hahoe village quickly. The host was also very helpful and friendly during the stay and was always there when I needed him :).

The room is small but with the curtains on the bed you have some privacy. Breakfast was OK. The manager was super friendly and give lots of information on where to eat and how reach your destinations. So very nice experience :)

The host of the guesthouse was super friendly. He gave me good restaurant recommendations and answered all of my questions. It was my first solo trip but I felt really comfortable there!

Nice enough place to stay for exploring Andong. It was a little far from the main areas but we found it to be walkable. The kitchen was clean and had good facilities and the room although on the smaller side was perfectly adequate and the bathroom facilities were good!

The mattress was wrapped in a plastic cover which they said was for COVID procedures but we didn't experience this in any of the other hostels, guesthouses or hotels we stayed in throughout Korea. It meant it was very noisy anytime anyone moved, almost like a giant crisp packet. There also wasn't a double sheet supplied for the mattress but two singles we had to use which didn't fully cover the mattress.

Nice small rooms with private bathrooms, I was the only one in the room so it was nice and quiet. Helpful staff who sent lots of good recommendations for restaurants and such. Good breakfast available. Comfortable beds and very clean rooms.

I was mainly there on a Monday which is when lots of stuff in the city is closed which wasn't ideal. The hostel was also very quiet, which was a little unnerving at times.

Be careful, they have an age restriction policy - one lady got rejected when I got there. Apart from that, it's a standard and convenient hostel, in a cosy little house.

The bed was very comfortable, and everything was super clean! The staff was really nice and helped me with all I needed! Even the breakfast was very good!

It is near some attractions and the central city of Andong. They provide fresh towels daily and breakfast. It was clean and comfortable as well. Staff is nice and helpful too!

I liked the location and the fact the rooms were just 4 people. They also had a heating blanket which was nice because the room was cold.

I couldn't leave my bag after check-out, the rooms and common spaces were really cold. The breakfast was really basic and the rooms were really small.

It was near the busstop. The breakfast was okay. Everything was clean.

The host could be more welcoming. Everything was very strict and not very social with the guests. The check-in was also very late (5pm).

Location is good. I have nothing to complain about the rooms. They were a bit small....but okay for Korea. Breakfast is pretty descant even though you have to make it yourself.

Please read very careful all information. Only an age between 18 and 38 is allowed, you can only check in past 17h and leave not your luggage easily for a whole day. The whole service aspect of the guesthouse is a bit off.

Breakfast included in the room price is quite a plus in a guesthouse. The host’s dad welcomed us with happiness and nice Korean anecdotes. The English of the host was good so we understood easily his explanations about the house’s rules. Beds were good as well

For one night nothing was problematic, maybe the rooms are small if you want to stay longer but not our case

comfort was sacrificed a little for cleanliness - you're not allowed any food or drink in your room except from water and the bed still has its plastic protective covering on so it rustles whenever you move. when i first arrived, the host didn't answer my messages or my knocks on the door/ringing the doorbell and i had to wait for the woman next door to open the door for me and the host told me he was busy attending to something urgent even though it seemed he had just woken up. he also continuously insulted my language ability in korean... (experiences with the host varied from helpful & kind to overbearing & slightly uncomfortable)
