Geen airco op de kamer, de chauffage stond aan en ik kon deze niet uitschakelen, dus te warm s'nachts, en een minibar zou handig zijn.

Haben ein Zweibettzimmer gebucht,über booking.com. Zugegeben sehr günstig. Grundsätzlich war es ein Einbettzimmer mit 2 getrennten Betten. Alles sehr schmal und eng. Im Badezimmer gab es nur ein Glas zum Zähneputzen. Hätten ein Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer machen können. War uns aber zu teuer.Zusatzkosten pro Person fast 300 Euro.

Die Kaffeemaschine im Frühstücksraum lässt zu wünschen übrig. Am Frühstücksbuffet ist alles etwas eng.

The walls are thin, and the clientele, at least for the week I visited, were rowdy 20-somethings up until late hours. No problem, I always travel with earplugs, but this was not a quiet hotel.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Breakfast was excellent! It surprised my friend and I. The hotel was super clean, great location and good ski storage.
I booked 3 nights and in the first one the room was prepared only for one guest instead of two - meaning, there was only one blanket and one set of towels. As we arrived late after skiing, there was no one in the reception to solve this problem and I had to sleep on the couch without anything to cover my self. That was unexpected.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025Sauna ist neu, Lage ist excellent, wenn genug Schnee da ist, kann man vom Giggijoch bis zum Hotel abfahren. Das Ende der Abfahrt ist genau über die Brücke vor dem Hotel. Das Team war sehr freundlich und hat sich wirklich bemüht. Essen war auch sehr gut und schmackhaft. Frühstücksbüffet war nichts besonderes, alles war da und wurde auch bis zum Schluss nachgefüllt, so dass man auch 9:00 kommen konnte und immer noch Gemüse da war. Man konnte selbst auch einen leckeren Cappucino zapfen. Auch meine Befürchtungen bezüglich Rauchen haben sich zum Glück nicht erfüllt. Ich wurde im Erdgeschoss nicht durch Zigarettenrauch belästigt (Blick zum Nachbarhaus und durch die Häuserlücke zum Fluss/Berg.
Leider wurden, obwohl es ein Allergikerzimmer ist, Spanplatten im Bett verbaut. Für jemanden, der eine Allergie gegen Formaldehyd hat, ist das nicht akzeptabel. Ein normaler Lattenrost ist ja nun nicht so teuer. Auch die Entlüftung des Bades könnte stäker sein. Wie von anderen schon bemerkt, sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig, weil die Trenntür zwischen Flur und Wohnzimmer herausgenommen wurde und man durch die Zimmertür alles vom Gang hört.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Preis-/Leistung hat super gepasst. Das Zimmer war einfach aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Saunabereich war modern, sauber und sehr gut geeignet um zu entspannen. Der Besitzer sowie die Angestellten waren stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet mitten im Dorf.
Das Verhalten anderer Gäste im Saunabereich. Hier herrscht Handyverbot. Was kaum einen gestört hat. Leider haben manche auch hörbar den Ton laufen lassen. Aber dieses Verhalten sieht man mittlerweile auch in großen Thermen. Die Menschen haben immer mehr Probleme sich an die einfachsten Regeln zu halten.

Bedden zijn heel erg hard, soms met veren voelbaar. Geen koelkastje op de kamer. Pooltafel of tafelvoetbal of iets anders voor jeugd.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2025The hotel has a great location between the 2 main lifts up to the ski areas, close walk to stores, rental shops, bars and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was very good, the sauna area (sauna, steam, infrared) was great and the personnel extremely friendly. If you dont want to pay for ski depot at the lifts, the hotel has lockers for each room coded to your room key card included.
Doors/walls a bit on the thin side, you easily hear your neighbors. When this is just normal level talking etc. that is OK, but it becomes a nuisance when people come home late/loud after a long "apres ski" session (kudos however to the hotel staff for handling this immediately, enforcing respect for quiet hours). Expect to be woken up early by the church bells (perhaps not bad if you want an early start on skiing ...).

Reviewed Mar 9, 2025Parkhotel is conveniently located at the center of the village - walking distance to all attractions! Our room was fairly big with a balcony. Excellent mattress! The ski locker was nicely designed where each room has separate lockable and heated compartment.
I didn't like the pillows - too soft to my taste. The soundproof between the rooms (not enough). The breakfast was average to my taste - no pancakes or fish. We got herring only starting the third day of our stay.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025The hotel is perfectly located for the ski lifts and lots of shops, restaurants and bars in town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, remembering our requests from one day to the next. The room was comfortable and clean. The spa was surprisingly large and well equipped with a sauna, steam room and a mystery room that we think was an infrared sauna but no-one could quite work it out!
The bar and restaurant menus were a bit limited (especially as I’m vegetarian- it is very steak-oriented!). The toiletries in the room were basic but perfectly adequate, whilst the towels were a bit thin…. Nothing too serious to complain about!

Reviewed Jan 29, 2025- the Solden Parkhotel offers according to expectation, not more and not less - the hotel has a bar and a restaurant - the food we had there was very good - the location is convenient - a 10 mins walk to Giggijoch - the sauna is nice with 3 options, although the steam sauna did not get hot enough - parking is next to the hotel - in the ski room you get your personal locker with a nice heating system
- there's quite some details in the room that show a lack of love&care, like loose door knobs - it is hard to make the room dark by closing the curtains as they are quite thin and there is nothing else to blind the room - I paid 900+ euro's for 4 nights on my own and then I have to pay 6 euro's for a bathrobe and slippers. ridiculous. - the breakfast room has only 1 coffee machine that makes cappuccino, so every morning there was a long queue there - the layout of the breakfast buffet is not very good, which means there's queues everywhere - this is the type of hotel that locks the breakfast room until the official opening time, which again means... queues - every morning I had to search for my table in the breakfast room, they moved it around all the time
