Food excellent will defo stay here again
Privacy location and the host genuinely made me feel welcome. It's always nice when the host engages with you
Nothing at all, loved the wee breakfast area toon
Lovely location, quiet, rustic, bed comfortable. Clean breakfast was a ‘help yourself’ affair which was fine by us, just the area was cramped.
Dull, lighting was poor. Could do with freshening up.
At £75 p/n for 2 people it wasn't an expensive place to stay. It was OK for where we needed to be in Cumbernauld for one evening. The owner's mother was very pleasant and the dogs were friendly. The bed was comfortable.
On arrival the room was pervaded by a stench of bleach and other cleaning products - we struggled to ventilate the room enough to make the smell fade. Breakfast was DIY from whatever was left out the night before i.e. cereal and toast. The first morning there was bread to make toast but this was missing on day 2 so no toast possible. Despite requesting gluten-free for one person for breakfast, no provision was made for this during our stay. People working on the farm clearly use the facility to make their evening meals, although they (or someone) did clear up afterwards which was good.
Some great features to the room. Solid wood used in furnishings and some great farm touches. Comfy bed.
Not clean (the floor) Not a real breakfast, could easily add some low maintenance fruit (bananas, tangerines) and yoghurts. Only bread and rice crispies and some porridge sachets were available.
Room was pleasant and comfy. We slept well. Car parking very convenient.
In the ensuite nowhere to put soap near the sink or hang towels. (Towel rail above toilet!!) Kettle very difficult to fit under tap in basin. No Kettle in breakfast area so had to return to room for hot water.
Helpful staff, ample parking, nice decor and adequately clean and comfortable. Good value.
Lots of little things could improve this B&B: There was no soap in the bathroom, no shelf by the sink, and the shower cord was broken. The TV is too small and the remote control doesn’t work. WiFi available, but internet was not working. The window blind was ineffective at keeping light out. Glass panel on bedroom door affected privacy. Road noise. Very basic breakfast - cereal, toast, tea/coffee.
Nothing
I received a confirmation email from Booking.com last week so assumed all should be ok. After a drive of nearly 300 miles we were greeted by a workman who told us our booking was cancelled due to a change in the owners preferred booking system. We stood outside on a windy evening while she phoned another hotel for us. To be honest we were glad not to stay at Riggend. It looked quite seedy and noisy from traffic.
good
Very comfy bed
Wouldnt describe as luxury. No cooked breakfast - very small dining area.
Wash/shower room window could not be closed/secured fully. Wash/shower room was in full view of the main road.
Welcoming, clean and comfortable
Broken toilet seat
Peaceful and quiet

Good value for money. Location Comfy bed
Excellent value for money.
The only thing was the shower was not as powerful as i am used to. It was like a watering can.
I was going to keep this place a secret from others. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Handy for the local town. Easy to find. No problem parking. Great find.
we had a fab time the hosts were amazing, they even let us use the BBQ and brought everything over for us, there wasn't anything we could fault and we slept really well would recommend
Location to my destination was good. Room was a good size and warm.
Hot water from tap was scolding hot, need a sign. Towels could do with being updated. Glasses in the room would be useful.
It’s a lovely farm and very close to where we needed to be
Just abit unusual and although we didn’t need it, a cooked breakfast would have been great
useful location, pleassant hostess
breakfast was limited - I realised it would be from the description so took a supply from home for the trip, ie eggs etc
Help yourself great choice
Nothing
Very clean
Thicker walls never had much sleep
Hosts (family) were very helpful and accommodating, place nice and quiet, superb breakfast supply & great choice.
Being a larger gentleman the shower proved difficult to get in the door sorry guys 😭 that apart all good 😁

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und freundliche Gastgeberin
The room was very high end. The decor was beautiful, it felt very high end.

Nothing
Nothing the place was dirty ti the core, never stayed in such a dirty place I'd be expecting a full refund
Everything
Polite staff and good value for money
Very thin walls and noisy, squeaky beds. I could hear the person next door who kept waking up at 5am so it affected my sleep too. The sink didnt look clean with leftovers from someone’s shaving. The cold / hot water was not easy to adjust (it was either too hot or cold). No one cleaned the room or emptied the bin for the entire duration.
Setting.
No cooked breakfast! But plenty of tea coffee and other breakfast food available. Damaged shower( cable tie to secure shower head). Dirty shower hose and sink tap. Build up of dust on extractor fan in the en-suite.
Great as always best accommodation in these here parts
All good
My trip to Scotland wouldn't have been as impressive, wouldn't have been as memorable without the experience of Riggend Farm bed and breakfast. My commute to Airdrie was one of note and unexpected challenge. The coach from London to Glasgow, the Uber experience from Glasgow to Airdrie followed by the need to navigate myself from Stirling Road to Riggend Farm. Little was straightforward or smooth but the feeling upon arriving to meet Natalie and co was such a feeling of homeliness. Her genuine nature to care for and be of loving support and service almost made me forget about my ordeal prior to arriving. I immediately felt comfortable, relaxed and settled. Between Friday and Sunday I was made to feel very welcome. I wasn't accurately aware of the distance between Airdrie and Glasgow. Judging by Google Maps from a driver's perspective it was nothing out of the ordinary, however I wasn't driving so the distances were much greater than I had imagined! Eek. Through the kindnesses of Natalie and Felix I was able to get to the train station which helped not only with travel but cost! I could go to town and share more but I believe this will suffice in acknowledging my Riggend Farm experience was 5 stars! Thank you again Natalie and Felix for how warmly you received me!
They know 🙂
The property is very nice, there are beautiful ponies and the accommodation comfortable! The staff were super helpful and nice!
If I really have to nitpick, the cleanliness could have been more thorough, but since it is not a hotel, but a very family-run b&b are more than sufficient! The kindness of the staff makes up for everything!
Host is so friendly and welcoming. Ample free parking available. Room was lovely and warm on my arrival. Bed was comfortable. Return visitor. Good price.
Return visitor so knew what to expect at breakfast time, choices are limited so grabbed a snack and went out for something to eat. There's obviously an issue with the shower which has a temporary repair to hold the shower head up, I'm sure will be rectified before my next visit.
The location… nice and quiet.. no road noise
Rural location….
When arrived they told me they were double booked and left me stranded in the middle of nowhere poor show
Owners were polite and helpful room was clean and bed was comfortable
Nice warm and comfortable

Everything , comfortable , great host she’s amazing breakfast was perfect, can’t wait to go back
Not a thing to dislike
lovely room for the night very comfy bed and a cosy room staff were friendly and helpful a nice breakfast before setting off as well 😋
Beautiful scenery, nice breakfast (i like that it was a help yourself set up and that there was every type of bread/pastry item rather than a fry up), staff very friendly (also the cute wee dogs), good price
The bed was too hard, very thin walls so you can hear everything the next room is doing, unfortunately the bathroom was not clean (hairs in the sink and bin not emptied). If you're over 5ft make sure to bring a towel and they were very small.
Lovely, friendly welcome. Beautiful location too, just far enough from urban life.
The cabin was quite echoing and could hear everything in the next room.
The host and her mum were both nice and very welcoming. The lady also found my wallet with cash and some essential stuff and returned it to me. Nice, clean, and cozy rooms too.
Very quiet, nice place to stay, friendly staff. Was perfect for what we needed
Pillows were a little flat, and not having a cooked breakfast in the morning. But I’d happily stay again
Comfortable and clean. Rural so our of way but plenty of parking. Just what I needed to break up my travel from Yorkshire back to my home in Thurso xx
We had a warm welcome from Natalie.
Didn't ... The drive way was extremely uneven and unlit (as we were surposing arriving on our motorcycle it would be dangerous, fortunately we came in the car.) Bed sheets had hair on. No under protective bedding. Dust and chewing gum stuck to the headboard. A sock was found at the side of the bed. The roller blinds were grubby and fraying. The bathroom.... The shower head was mouldy and hung up with a cable tie, The tray had hair and fluff in it. Also, it looked as if the basin of the toilet hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. A glass panelled door to our room offered little privacy. The kitchen... It was a community kitchen where everyone helped themselves. (Microwave, kettle, which was to be filled from your room and toaster, cups, bowls plates and cutlery). Cereal (one was out of date) tea, coffee and sugar in canisters. Bread and packet individual croissants. The fridge had milk, margarine and orange juice. With jam and marmalade jars left out. There was no way to clean up as there was no sink.
Arrived just after 10pm but was still able to check in. Much appreciated
Sat nav was not great and missed front a couple of times in the dark. Had to then find my way to the back. Allow a bit of time to find it if you are arriving in the dark, but still very good overall
Very good location. Lovely welcome by staff. Good breakfast. Nice room. Quirky decor.
Not much. Better than expected.
Fantastic owner. Natalie and her mum are lovely. lTge accommodation is very reasonably priced easy to access. Would highly recommend.
Nothing
Always an amazing friendly welcome. Super facilities and homely feel
Convenient location to break a trip, OK for the money, friendly host including super friendly dogs 🐕 and nice animals 😀
Although it felt like care had gone into creating the place, it wasn't maintained well, cleaning was adequate but not great .. eg shower didn't look v. clean, the soap in soap dispenser was either empty or impossible to use, the hand cream looked like it had been there for months (better not to bother); most important thing was the door to the bathroom was hanging off and came off in my hands which could have locked one of us in .. and it looked like it had been that way for a while.
