Kallt på rummet.

Bekvämt att ta sig till pendeltåget.

Hade inte läst instruktionen tillräckligt bra. Hittade inte ingången som finns ovanför köpcentret. Det finns även en ingång inne i köpcentret men det är inte meningen att man ska använda den. Fönster in mot köpcentret går inte att öppna. Men det var ingen större problem eftersom rummet har egen ventilation.

Position and cleanliness

I had a warm welcome by Aram, and he was absolutely helpful and very nice. He showed me around the facility, and it was beautiful, modern and clean. My room was super cozy, and it had a desk with a comfortable office chair, since I was working. No noise, and no disturbance from other guests. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The cleaning was superb. A BIG thank you to Aram for being a wonderful host. I will most likely be back and I recommend this place to everyone!!!

Det här hostelet levererade verkligen över förväntan! Priset är otroligt prisvärt med tanke på det fantastiska läget, vilket gjorde det smidigt att ta sig runt. Ägaren tog emot oss med öppna armar och hela personalen var extremt hjälpsam och trevlig under hela vistelsen. Dessutom erbjöd rummet fantastiskt sköna sängar som garanterade en god natts sömn. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta ställe till alla som besöker staden!

Det delade badrummet var krångligt, men det beror på att jag använder det ofta under natten.

Belysningen på toalett stängdes av hela tiden gick inte alltid igång trots vevande med armar.

Enkelt boende med allt man behöver för budgetsemestern - välutrustat gemensamt kök och dessutom kyl/frys på rummet. Bra sängar och fläckfritt städat. Aram som driver stället är supertrevlig och välkomnande.

Nice and clean.

Perfekt läge i Jakobsberg. Nära till parkeringsplatser. Allt fanns som man behövde och skönt att man inte behöver ta med sin lakan. Otroligt prisvärt rent och fräsch. Dessutom är värden Aram så otroligt vänlig och serviceminded.

Bajs på golvet på den gemensamma toaletten, inte trevligt.

Mycket fint bemötande. Rent och snyggt. Kommet till baka och rekommenderar detta Hostel. Vi vart mycket bra bemöta av Hostels ägare 10 av 10....

Like a dorm. But no ventilation or possibility to adjust the temperature. Unannounced refugee longstays. Naked kids running in the hallways. Almost impossible to find. No signs to the entrance.

It was a wonderful experience following a long and hectic drive. The staff was efficient, helpful, kind and friendly. Clean and comfortable place. We would definitely recommend this place for a short stay.

Det jag uppskattar mest är att det är väl städat och fresh säng att sova i. Golden hostel överträffade mina förväntningar.

We flew from the US for s short vacation and to meet friends. This facility could not have been more central, it was in the town's shopping mall. Also, close to where are friends were. Felt like staying at home, it was in a wonderful apartment with a few rooms. Ours was one of them. Toallet was just outside our room. A very nice kitchen with a pleasant dining area made us feel at home.

One can wish for anything, however for us it was ok. Wish we had our own toalett, on the other hand we had a surprisingly big fridge and freezer in the room.

Clean facilities

A bit stuffy as the windows could not be opened. But it was not too hot. It was also challenging to find the place but now that I have found it, I will be back!

It was lovely getting airport transfer from the host Aram, whose friendly banter provided a warm welcome to Stockholm. I was experiencing an issue with my phone and he took me to the local shops to help me resolve the issue. The accommodation was conveniently located and was spotless and comfortable. it's a nice place to relax and get to know the local way of life!

It has fridge in the room and kitchenware in the shared kitchen. Clean and quiet place, friendly staff. It is located in a neighborhood. There is a shopping mall and a small park.

The host was very nice and the room was confortable. It was a bit far from downtown but there was easy access to the train (pendeltag).

Aram was a most hospitable and helpful host. Allowed me to use his private parking spot for my motorcycle and personally showed me the local restaurants and shops.Top man! Facilities were very clean and well organised.

The owner was incredibly courteous, and despite the language barrier (he didn't speak good English, we didn't speak Swedish) his use of body language and context made for a Ln easy to understand guide to the facilities and an enjoyable stay.

It was a little hard to find, but I think that's more the fault of Google maps. Though some clear directions in future for guests could be useful!

Very nice owner! He even came to pick me up to show me the hostel and check me in. The room was very comfortable and clean, much like the sanitair.

Fantastiskt trevligt hostel mitt i centrala Jakobsberg. Vi var på konsert på klubb Fredagsmangel och hostel:et ligger bara några hundra meter därifrån. Smidig in och utcheckning, fräscht och fint, sköna sängar också. Här kommer jag att övernatta igen!

Personligt och trevligt bemötande. Även om det var lite krångligt med att hitta dit så gjorde det inte så mycket med tanke på hur ägare ansträngde sig för att det skulle bli så enkelt och bekvämt som möjligt.

A kitchen was available to fix your own breakfast or other meals. The shared toilets & shower were adequate. The host was pleasant & friendly. He allowed a change of rooms.

Rooms not cleaned properly. Poor ventilation - too stuffy & hot. The sound of the fridge going off and on all the time made sleep impossible.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hostel. The host was responsive and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and cozy. I appreciated the amenities provided, such as a comfortable bed and clean towels. Additionally, the common areas like the kitchen and lounge were well-equipped and created a great environment for socializing with fellow travelers. One of the highlights of this hostel is its location 3 min walk from the train station. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay. A big thank you to the host for his hospitality! I will definitely be back next time.

Comfortable and private rooms, excellent place to stay if you need somewhere to sleep close to Stockholm. Price was great and fitted us perfectly for visiting friends nearby over the New Year holiday. The host was friendly and accommodating and helped us find the entrance, which can be a bit tricky to find even if you know the area somewhat.

I was really happy I ended up booking Golden hostel. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Even I was arriving quite late in the evening, later than the actual reception hours, it was easy to arrange a later time for check-in via email. Reception person was really welcoming and helpful - he even offered to give me a ride to closest 24h restaurant as there was none open in the walking distance as I arrived so late. What i really liked the place was the attention to details. Everything was clean and nice - not luxurious, but it was clear to me that cleaning and all important aspects were taken seriously in this place. I liked many details about my room as well. The windows were to the quiet inner court and the windows had also good soundproofing, so I was never bothered by the sounds coming outdoors. I think the closest highways just caused some distance humming sounds, but thanks to soundproofed windows, the humming was more like a pleasent and calming than bothering. And what was almost excepionally great, was that there was also sunblocking curtains that you could pull over to windows to block most of the light coming indoors. Soundproofing between the rooms were not that great, but the overrall ambience in the place was quiet and people were respectful to others and did not cause any problems during night and thus it did not bother at all in the end. The shared bathtrooms were very clean and always available when I happened to need them. I really liked this place because it made me feel that the people running this place really cared about their customers by having the most important things right in this place. Also, the area is quite interesting in a sense that it is a classic Stockholm immigrant suburb but felt really safe and peaceful to me. Connections to stockholm city center were superb though, and the train station was less than 5minutes walk from the hostel and it took only like 20 minutes to be in the center so not that bad either.

The hosts are wonderful and helpful people. The room I got was good size(for a single person), clean, matching the descriptions as seen on the pictures, with a comfortable bed. The room could be good enough for a couple as well. The shared bathrooms and other shared areas are also tidy and kept clean. This place influences you in subtle unspoken ways to stay clean, tidy and healthy in your life too. The place(Golden Hostel) is located at a 5 mins walk to a nearby bus station(Jakobsberg) with easy access to important bus routes, and adjacent to the bus station is the Jakobsberg stop for the city train, making the commute to other parts of Stockholm very easy. Around the Golden Hostel, is the Jakobsberg Centrum, a 2 mins walk, where you can easily find nearby markets for your daily cooking and other essentials. I stayed at the Golden Hostel for 17 days, had no problems, making my stay here peaceful and quite comfortable.

Everything was nice at the Golden Hostel, and I had no issues in my stay, but on travel as a student to Sweden, I would have liked the rent to be a little lower for a longer booking period.
