Sehr ruhige Lage, wenige Gästezimmer. Blick in den Garten, keine Straßengeräusche (nur nachtaktive Gartenbewohner, wenn das Fenster offen ist). Sehr freundlicher Empfang, persönlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird das Gefühl von "zuhause sein" vermittelt. Bademantel, Badelaken und Badeschuhe für den hauseigenen Pool sind im Zimmer vorhanden. Der Garten ist großzügig mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Ambiente ist durch Naturholz ungewöhnlich, aber hat uns absolut gefallen.

Sadly we didn’t experience the breakfast as we had a very early start BUT the host waved us goodbye at 6am! How incredible was that!!!

Nothing…. The hosts were absolutely genuine and lovely and their house and hospitality was mind blowing!

Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig. Zimmer und Bad geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Das. Frühstück war gut; aber mit 20 Euro zu teuer. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, relevante qm entfielen auf das große Badezimmer. D.h. Es gab keine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit für zwei Personen im Zimmer.

La gentillesse et l’accueil de notre hôte. La maison est magnifique . La chambre avec une peinture superbe au dessus du lit. La terrasse, le calme au milieu des arbres. La piscine a température idéale. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et on a plus qu’assez. Le miel venu tt droit des ruches de notre hôte. Un moment très agréable

Nothing to dislike but to be aware of: we occupied the second bedroom without balcony but only a tiny window. Two friendly dogs that can be too friendly. Bedrooms on first floor. You live in the house of the owners so limited privacy.

Heel fijn verblijf gehad! Perfect voor een nachtje tussen een lange autorit naar huis door. Mooie ruime kamer met terras en een verwarmd zwembad bij de accommodatie. Ontbijt was super goed verzorgd! Lieve eigenaren met twee lieve honden erbij! :)

Un grand coup de cœur pour cette belle chambre d'hôtes.cela a démarré par l'accueil souriant et charmant de Chiara. Les prestations de la chambre sont de grande qualité, excellente literie, très vaste et belle salle de douche équipée très qualitativement, décoration très personnelle de qualité et à notre goût. Et que dire du havre de paix que constitue le jardin et sa piscine. Merci à Julien pour les échanges et à Stéphanie pour la réservation du restaurant...

Prachtige locatie en super lieve en sympathieke uitbaters. Ontbijt was uitstekend en met veel liefde klaargemaakt. De kamer was zeer proper, idem dito voor de badkamer. Alles is ook met smaak ingericht.

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir auf dem Grundstück sicher abstellen, Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, und ruhig, die Betten gemütlich, es gibt einen großen Balkon. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Frühstück. Eier wurden frisch zubereitet, die Zutaten waren frisch und sehr appetitlich angerichtet.

Very friendly owner, room clean and well maintained

Noisy room, noise insulation is poor and you can hear conversations from ground floor.

The location was good and bed comfortable.

The dogs were barking and were in the main living area. There was no separation between living space for private hosts and the rest of the living space. Only the bedrooms were private. Balcony was not clean, birdpoop and branches all over chairs and table outside.

Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Chambre spacieuse, confortable avec terrasse. Très bien équipée . Située proche de la ville : verdure et calme appréciés. Parking sécurisé. . Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cette chambre d'hôte.

Tranquilité, confort, accueil chaleureux

Außergewöhnlich geschmackvolle Einrichtung und Architektur. Sehr freundliche, persönliche Betreuung. Schwimmbad und schöner Garten, bei gutem Wetter ein Ruhepol.

Tolle ruhige Gegend, Zimmer waren super sauber und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Generell war das Haus sehr schön und stilvoll - modern. Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr toll, super lecker und sehr viel Auswahl! Der Pool war ebenso sauber uns sehr einladend, da wir eine heiße Woche hatten. Wir waren alleine am Pool, daher sehr erholsam und privat- alles im allen ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und perfekt. Falls wir wieder in die Gegend kommen, werden wir sicher wieder kommen!

Es gibt nicht wirklich viel zu sagen - das einzige das mir persönlich gefehlt hat waren Aufhängemöglichkeiten außerhalb vom Schrank für Kleidung bzw im Bad für Bademantel oder nasse Sachen

Verzorgde en mooie locatie. Een hartelijk en behulpzaam onthaal. Het ontbijt was meer dan genoeg keuze en deftig gepresenteerd. De badkamer is heel ruim.

De muren zijn wel dun. Het toilet en de hoestbuien van de man uit de aansluitende kamer kon je vrij goed horen. Gelukkig zijn dit kortstondige geluiden.

Free parking, sweet and curious dogs (all bark no bite) and a very shy cat. Fast WIFI. Spacious toilets with his and hers sink.

Pillow too flat for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Toilet didn’t have blinds. No AC but that’s normal in Europe - fans were provided and they suffice.

Quiet location, beautiful building, swimming pool and private terrace with sun loungers, excellent breakfast too.

No access to cooking facilities but close to shops and restaurants.

Warm attitude from owner, beautiful enviroment, pool, peaceful surroundings, exceptional and private breakfast! We enjoyed it!

All facilities are excellent. Julien & Stephanie are kind and gracious hosts. Totally appreciated and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere that is created at the accommodation. Stephanie's breakfasts are superb.

The owners were very welcoming and engaging. They accommodated our requests for breakfast as well as a few dinners and the food was delicious. They certainly went above expectations.

As a foreigner without a local cell phone, the location of the B&B was difficult to find with the rental car GPS.

We wanted a B&B near Mons to attend a wedding of family friends. This was ideally suited to see them and gave us the independence we wanted to come and go as we needed. The accommodation was of an excellent quality, the continental breakfast delicious at a time of our choosing and the hosts were very accommodating. The grounds and gardens were delightful and very peaceful and soothing. The ensuite was a very good size with plenty of storage space for toiletries and electrical items. We had hoped to make use of the outdoors swimming pool but on the morning we were free to do so the weather was not so good but a useful addition to our stay.

The mosquitos which clearly took a fancy to us on our last night!

Wonderful stay. Its very much a feeling of being welcome into someone's home versus just an accommodation. The vibe was calm and warm, the breakfast was very well done, and the host family was extremely attentive and considerate. Great place! Even bought some of their honey :-)

As others mentioned, just note there is no A/C and no screens for bugs. But this is standard in Europe.

A delightful family run B&B in a suburb of Mons. It's a wonderfully tranquil place and I hope to go again in the spring or summer to take advantage of the balcony. Lovely people, friendly hounds, what more could you want?

The unfortunate neighbour for one night who sneezed and blew her nose spectacularly in the small hours was the only lowlight. Nothing to do with the house, which I could find nothing wrong with.

Everything, Julian and his wife were wonderful hosts. The house and room are incredible. I loved the table which is a real showpiece. The breakfast provides was divine.

Perfect for a weekend escape in the nature. Nice place with all necessary facilities for a perfect relax and the location is great to explore the region.

Stop-over in Mons on our way back to Sweden, greatly appreciated a dip in the pool after a long drive. Beautiful place and very nice hosts, quiet and and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, local products and home made. Perfect!

Heat wave when we were there, would have loved AC or a quieter/more effective fan in the room. Insect screens on windows would be great and a few more power outlets in the room.

Exquisite stay at this wonderful house. All amenities were outstanding. Our hosts were extremely helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended ! The private terrace overlooking the gardens is giving an extra relaxing atmosphere to your stay.

We first stayed at Stéphanie & Julien after an enjoyable supper in Mons and loved the overnight stay & Sunday brunch experience. Their warm welcome, interior design taste and excellent cooking skills were much appreciated. We then asked them to organise a private brunch with 20+ friends. They were very well taken care of and food was both excellent in quality and quantity. The beautiful summer weather even allowed us to make the most of the roof terrace and garden. Thanks again and we’ll definitely be back ;-) Greg & Alex

We felt a little like we were intruding on the family privacy. We were told we could use common spaces but frequently there are barriers set up to prevent use of the patio. The small window in a corner of the room provided very little natural light. When we opened the window in the evening for fresh air mosquitoes inundated the room. Location is not within convenient walking distance to central areas. Rooms are not sound roof as the guests next to us were loud. I also had to stop someone from coming into my room when I heard a key inserted in the door on the morning of our first stay. No one knocked to check if the room was vacant. Room was beautiful. I loved the wallpaper. Really good WiFi speed. Great ensuite bathroom. Nice Amenities. Comfortable bed. Lovely couple who own the home. Peaceful neighborhood.

Before we arrived I had to call Julien because we were running late and couldn't make the incheck-time, but that was no problem at all. When we arrived Stephanie welcomed us, offered us a drink and showed us the room. We could pick the room we wanted, because it was on a monday so it was quiet. We picked the scandinavian room, because we liked the interior more (the other room is the same size etc...). After dropping off our luggage we asked Stephanie where we could eat and she gave us a map of Mons and the directions. There is where we had some bad luck: after our diner we returned to our car and the window was smashed and our jackets stolen... because we didn't know anything in Mons, we returned to the B&B. Once arrived (it was already 11pm) Julien and Stephanie were already on their private floor, so we had to disturb them. Once we explained the situation, they immediatly offered their help, called the police and covered our broken window. The next morning (after a delicious breakfast, loved the jam) Stephanie guided us to the policestation. She also borrowed us a jacket (ours was stolen) and we could leave our luggage in the room for the rest of the day (we went to Pairi Daiza and the weather wasn't great). They were the kindest hosts ever and although we had some bad luck, they made our stay better! The only negative point was that we only stayed one night!
