Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft mit wunderschönem Blick in den Dschungel und einem tollen Restaurant sowie Café. Wir haben uns hier unglaublich wohl gefühlt und selbst die geteilten Badezimmer und Duschen waren stets sauber und man hat kaum gemerkt, dass es noch anderweitig genutzt wurde.

Es war alles wunderbar. Vielleicht wäre ein kleiner Spiegel im Zelt noch praktisch, aber das ist wirklich nur eine Idee. Und das Licht vor den Badezimmern, war für unser Zelt über Nacht etwas zu hell.

Un posto meraviglioso! Molto curato in tutti i dettagli e il personale é estremamente gentile e attento. La tenda era molto spaziosa e comoda e la vista era straordinaria. Il ristorante é molto buono e ci sono dei letti Balinesi da quali non vorresti mai alzarti. Una perfetta oasi di pace. Consigliatissimo!

Tutto. Posto immerso nella natura, noi abbiamo soggiornato nella Tenda. Tutto molto rilassante e confortevole. Nonostante il bagno fosse in comune era super pulito. La colazione con vista natura è stata favolosa.

Un peu isolé, il faut penser un prendre un taxi pour aller sur Munduk (prix très bas pour cette prestation, donc pas vraiment un problème)

Wat niet. Deze plek is ideaal. Rust, natuur, avontuur het vindt hier de verbinding. We sliepen in de tenten en realiseerde ons, dat dit de allereerste keer kamperen is met de kids... en hoe... het uitzicht is prachtig, het personeel is super behulpzaam en de bedden... liggen heerlijk. Mijn kids wilden niet meer weg.

Eigenlijk helemaal niets... wil wel even mededelen dat je iedere dag voldoende beweging hebt. Er zijn veel trappen. En zorg dat je voor de nacht iets warms bij hebt.

El precio es caro porque aunque la tienda esté bien y las instalaciones y todo está muy bien, creo que el precio es muy alto para la zona y al final es con un baño compartido en tienda deluxe y además está cerca de la carretera se escucha la naturaleza pero también los coches.

Amazing experience at Desa Eko. It is the real definition of glamping. The mountain view tent was perfect for a 1 night stay, very confortable and everything we need was there. The view was gorgeous, and the shared bathrooms and showers very pretty and clean. The personnel was amazing, helped us with there luggages, and some recommandations in the area. The Botanist (resto) was truely the best food we ate during our trip.

Be careful to not let your luggages touch the tent because of the humidity.

The surroundings and views are beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. It was my birthday during our stay and they made a real effort to make it feel special, which I really appreciated.

Unfortunately, Desa Eko did not live up to our expectations. The views and surroundings are beautiful, but ultimately it is a fairly basic camping/glamping experience at a very premium price. The tents are placed quite close together, so it doesn’t give the sense of privacy, freedom and being immersed in nature that the photos and storytelling suggest. Most accommodations don’t have a private bathroom, the shared bathrooms are very basic, and during our stay the showers were cold. The restaurant, which also functions as the reception, is simple in both setting and concept. The food was okay, but very average — you can eat much better at many places in Bali. Given how special the overall experience is presented, we expected the food and restaurant to be part of that experience too. The owners have clearly done an excellent job with the concept, storytelling and marketing. It looks and sounds like a very special place online, which is why we were willing to pay the high price. Unfortunately, the actual experience didn’t match those expectations. At a more modest price point I would probably rate Desa Eko very differently, but for what they charge, I expected much more comfort, privacy and overall quality.

This hotel is a complete scam, or at the very least highly misleading. I booked a room through Booking.com, and nowhere in the listing did it mention that the bathroom was shared. On the contrary, the room photos included several pictures of what appeared to be a private bathroom. When we arrived, we were told that the bathroom was actually shared. The breakfast is extremely poor—they cut corners on everything. It’s barely enough for a bird. If you’re staying in one of the tents, you have to be very careful where you leave your belongings because water leaks in everywhere. If you want to sit at a table in the restaurant, good luck. There are far too many tents and guests, but far too few tables, so you often have to stand while eating. To get to the shared bathroom, you have to walk for several minutes. To get to our tent, we had to walk underneath other tents. This hotel makes absolutely no sense. It rained in the evening, water got into the tent, and our clothes were soaked. When we woke up, there was literally a pool of water on the floor. This hotel deserves no more than one star. As for the service, I would give it only half a star.

Stunning and peaceful location. Well maintained and stylish tents. We loved the outdoor showers and relaxing in the fabulous restaurant. The waterfall to rice paddy trek was amazing with a great local guide.

Very unique place with a beautiful view. Really enjoyed the nature here with all the sounds you hear. The studio is an amazing place which is build very cool with local materials. Staff is super friendly. Food is good. It offers a great base for activities such as the munduk waterfall hike. We enjoyed scooter rental aswell to explore the region (experience on motorbikes is needed with all the small up and down roads)

It's a bid humid in the room. But that's not strange since it is an open location in the nature.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Team ist großartig, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Zelte sind sehr gut ausgestattet, mit einer kleinen Minibar und Sitzkissen. Die Betten sind bequem. Abends werden die Betten aufgedeckt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Vom Restaurant und den Zimmern/Zelten hat man einen fantastischen Blick. Von der Unterkunft geht direkt ein Fußweg zu den Wasserfällen, allerdings muss man für mindestens zwei von diesen einen kleinen Eintritt zahlen. Bis zu dem vierten Waaserfall sind wir dann nicht mehr gelaufen.

Mir hat alles gefallen. Man sollte allerdings gut zu Fuß sein, da man viele Treppen steigen muss. Nachts wird es sehr kalt und feucht.

We stayed in their Studio and it was wonderful. The views from this property are so beautiful and full of green. My husband was not feeling well and the staff was very kind to help us with tea and medicine for him. They made sure he was feeling better the next day, which we really appreciated.

You will not find money changers or markets nearby. (Walking distance fyi)

C’est à flan de Coline donc beaucoup de marches. Cela peut poser problème à des personnes fatiguées. Il fait très froid la nuit sous la tente mais on a les couvertures qu’il faut.

Die Aussicht ist famos. Die Wasserfalltour war richtig schön und startet direkt von der Unterkunft.

Es ist halt immer noch nur ein Zelt! Gemeinsame Toilette und Dusche waren okay. Kommt aber darauf an, wie sauber andere in der Unterkunft sind. Aufenthalt im Zelt am Nachmittag nicht möglich, weil es einfach viel zu warm ist.

Отличное место чтобы ощутить природу изнутри! Потрясающий ресторан на территории, все очень вежливые, прекрасный внешний вид. Если попросить могут разжечь огонь который придает романтизма, в номере есть презент в виде пива шоколадки и банановых чипсов, что очень приятно! Персонал очень дружелюбный, всегда готов пойти на навстречу, при необходимости помочь и исполнить любое пожелание! Ночью может быть холодно; если нет одежды можно попросить дополнительной одеяло! На территории есть водопады, можно прогуляться!

Мне не понравилось стройка дома на территории отеля в течение дня! Я приезжаю туда послушать природу, а не стуки молотка и рабочих!

The location. The view is gorgeous and there are some waterfalls nearby. The restaurant has pretty good food.

I think it's really overpriced. After all it's still camping and you have to go to the bathroom with a flashlight at night and it gets pretty wet inside the tent at night. A dehumidifier is provided but it's not enough. You are in the mountains and it's raining almost daily. The restaurant has good food but it also is more expensive than in other places. Tours are more expensive also. The experience was interesting and the view is great but I wouldn't stay for more than a day there.

Peak of our trip in Bali - we took the suite room and it was absolutely stunning and comfortable! Best mountain view, great service & staff, delicious food in the restaurant with diverse food and vegan options, you can hike 3-4 hours for 4 beautiful waterfalls straight from the resort, beautiful deck for yoga right on the river. I wish I can stay longer, I will definitely recommend this to all

Dream vacation. Been here twice. Love everything about it. Cozy atmosphere, rainforest, beautiful restaurant up top, great food, warm service, clean tents, amenities complete, yoga shala by the ricer, adventure hike to 5 waterfalls.

Beautiful place to stay. What a view! The staff was fantastic and the food was delicious.

Sicuramente la posizione è fantastica, proprio in mezzo la foresta. Certo, si necessita di scooter o taxi per arrivarci, ma il luogo è davvero molto bello se si vuole fare un esperienza a contatto con la natura. Dall'hotel parte anche un bellissimo trekking poco faticoso verso due cascate molto carine.

Il cibo nella colazione è ok, purtroppo la scelta delle bevande è molto limitata.

die Lage war optimal, sehr schöner Blick und wunderschöne Anlage; das Restaurant phantastisch, der Blick und die Atmosphäre dort. Auch das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Man kann schöne Ausflüge direkt vor Ort zu den Wasserfällen machen oder in der Nähe gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten.

Es hat alles gepasst, nur für mich werde ich für das nächste Mal ein größeres Zelt wählen, war recht eng; dann hätte ich mich auch dort aufhalten können. Zum Glück war es nicht voll, so konnte ich mich auch oben beim Restaurant aufhalten, wo es sehr, sehr schön war.

Beautiful secluded mountain resort. We stayed at the studio to treat ourselves instead of the tent. It was a beautiful and very spacious apartment-like villa with the most incredible view of the jungle. The staff were friendly and very kind.

A little more thought into its menu, though it has all the comfort casual international options. Perhaps they can consider taking a few things off and creating some signature dishes. Great coffee and drinks, love that they also have a happy hour!

It's a great concept: tents in the middle of the jungle. Inside the tents it feels like being in a hotel (we stayed in a Deluxe room, so it was spacious, with a private bathroom downstairs). You can hear the sounds of the waterfall and you wake up with the incredible views on a mountain. It's a comfort of a hotel, but in the midst of nature. We want to defintetely come back again!

Location-wise, this is the best in Munduk really, and the garden they have is spectacular. The meals are good, but I remember my visit to Botanist, the property's resto, 18 months ago - the food tasted better then. Staff is nice, beds comfy, cuddly dogs

Value for money. It's basically a pretty expensive glamping. Had the prices been twice as low, I'd instantly become their ambassador.

We stayed in a small tent, Kakao, and it was amazing. The best part was the fireflies and that the bed was super comfortable. The area offers some lovely walks with beautiful waterfalls. The food was good and I could find vegetarian options. I 100% wants to come here again and stay longer.

It rained A LOT the night when we were visiting and everything was wet. Our clothes were wet and there was nothing to do about it. If the hotell could have a dryer or drying cupboard for clothes available that would be amazing. It doesn't have to be laundry, but just to dry. We still wanted to see the view when it was raining so we ended up setting up a way to have the door open without the rain coming in using one of my shirts. If the hotel could provide something to keep the door of the hotel open without rain pouring in that would be great! :)

Desa Eko was the most exceptional place where I have ever stayed in my life. I stayed in two different tents, and both were spotless, cozy, and beautifully cared for. The beds were truly comfortable, and the whole interior felt thoughtfully designed with deep respect for nature. What made it even more special was the incredibly friendly staff, warm hosts who even knew my name, so I instantly felt at home. Waking up to green jungle mountains and breathtaking views was unreal, and the scenery kept changing throughout the day with clouds rolling in and soft rain sweeping through the landscape. The lush green surroundings were a breath of fresh air, perfect for calming down and meditating with the pure sounds of nature. I also loved the yoga deck by the streaming water: such a peaceful place to rest, do your yoga practice, and simply listen to the calming sounds of the birds and the water. The bathrooms were very clean, with fresh towels every day, which made everything feel extra comfortable. And the food—wow. The restaurant served excellent meals, with fresh juices and delicious healthy bowls that made me feel nourished and energized. On top of it all, hiking in the area—especially the walk to the five waterfalls- made this place feel like a real treasure in nature. Desa Eko is a place made with love, and you can feel it in every detail, especially through the care and kindness of the staff.

The view is really amazing. The accommodation is located on a steep hill in the middle of the amazing green. The tent is super comfy, very good bed en again super nice view. Good food, amazing breakfast. The facilities are all super clean. Close by are the waterfalls, you can just walk down and there’s the waterfalls.

Le depaysement totale, dormir en pleine jungle avec le confort d un hotel haut de gamme c est exceptionnel. Pour un court sejour tout est parfait, le personnel, la douche chaude avec vue sur les montagnes, et que dire du restaurant un des meilleurs que nous ayons fait à bali.
