Aircon too noisy to sleep with it on. Not good enough sound insulation from the surrounding roads. Didnt like the mattress. “Treasure hunt” breakfast as is traditional in French hotels at this price point.

Only one member of staff on duty to cover reception, the bar, check-in, etc. Couldn't tell us what time the room would be available, and didn't bother to come serve us at the bar. Suggested eating dinner in the restaurant but thank goodness we didn't as it was shut. There is nothing nearby, so you'll need to drive or grab a taxi to the centre of town. Lovely location by the lake, let down by complete lack of service.

Für unsere Zwischenübernachtung sehr gut gelegen, dazu noch idyllisch am See, wir haben uns im Pool erfrischt. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Wir konnten für Sonntag Abend kurzfristig und günstig buchen.

Matratze des Sofabettes nicht ganz komfortabel, hat für die eine Übernachtung aber gepasst.

The pool was dirty! And needs to be updated. The restaurant was closed no food at all on a weekend which is a big issue especially when you have children. At breakfast we were also told there was no chef!

Novotel has become a slightly posher version of Travelodge but without matching the price - 4 miserable teabags, no bedroom crockery, just paper cups, one bottle of water to share....Staffing is to the bone, so at dinner, service becomes flustered, rushed, hasty and without time for any interaction. The place is just soulless. Maybe other Novotels differ?

What an amazing oasis! Incredible, calm, relaxing hotel in unbelievable surroundings, but just minutes walk away from the metropolis!

The room was super well prepared when we arrived late with our 13-month-old twins. The location was fantastic, next to the highway but still in a park, surrounded by greenery and calm. We were very happy to find a restful stop on our journey home.

The breakfast was subpar for a relatively high price. There was some diversity of items, but the quality seemed to not be up to the standards of a four-star hotel.

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. The menu that they offer to children, despite marketing themselves as a family-friendly hotel, is an abomination. All that is available for children here is chicken nuggets and chips or slabs of slimy ham with rice. When I said that my children needed some vegetables with their meal, a standard requirement of human nutrition recognised by health authorities all over the world, they refused to give my children any vegetables to eat and told me they did not serve vegetables to children. I complained to multiple different waiters and to the reception staff, and no one would help us. Also, the hotel was a sterile, miserable corporate environment, utterly joyless for small people. The staff are rude and objectionable. Every encounter we had was appalling. Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful hotel. The hotel staff were true professionals and went above and beyond to look after me during our stay, and they speak perfect English (if your French is still.. improving). I stayed in Limoges longer than planned after an emergency appendectomy and recovered for a week at the Novotel. I don't normally like chain hotels, or hotels near a main road - but this felt like a boutique. Not far from the centre but with a beautiful lake to relax next to at the end of the day

Het trappenhuis is geen opslag voor spullen. De gym mag geen gym genoemd worden met twee apparaatjes. Daarnaast erg prijzig voor één nachtje.

De kamer was muf, airco werkte niet, ontbijt was 1 en al chaos, 2 nachten geboekt maar na 1 nacht vertrokken, heel jammere zaak.

Das Essen im Restaurant war desolat und auch das Frühstücksbuffet hat Luft nach oben. Außerdem mussten wir sehr lange auf unseren Tisch warten.

Bel emplacement, au calme près du lac. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Personnel attentionné. Literie spacieusedans la chambre double.

Les chambres sur le parking, au ras des voitures. Aucun bruit car bien insonorisé mais des lumières de phares la nuit, et une vue peu agréable.

Prima ontbijt. Leuk gelegen aan een meer voor een korte wandeling. Nabij de snelweg voor wie op doorreis is, maar toch een beetje in de natuur, dichtbij faciliteiten.

There wasn’t enough seating for breakfast so we had to wait a while on the first day to sit down to eat. Room service didn’t start until 7pm, which was quite late for our infant son. Room was a little bit small.

Prima hotel. Twee nachten verbleven op doorreis naar Zuid Frankrijk. Hierdoor ook Limoges kunnen bezoeken. Vriendelijk personeel, vooral dame van de schoonmaak. Ontbijt was ook prima in orde. Veel keus.

Le bruit et le monde au niveau de la piscine : beaucoup trop d’enfants qui sautent et courent . L’organisation du petit déjeuner : une seule assiette par personne et buffet non rassemblé.

Presque tout était bien

Lors de notre repas du 10/08 au soir, nous nous sommes installés à l’heure et la commande pour les boissons nous a été prise 15 mn après, le repas, a été pris ensuite 8 mn après. Après observation le problème résidais sur l’organisation et clarification des des instructions données à l’équipe. Notre cas s’est reproduit sur plusieurs tables autour. RAS sur le personnel car souriants et accueillant.

We were really pleasantly surprised at just how lovely the hotel was, considering the very reasonable price. It’s in a beautiful location by the lake and really easy to get to from the motorway. Rooms very clean and good size, beds comfy, lovely staff and great breakfast. We’d stay again for sure if we’re ever in Limoges.

A great Hotel to stop whilst travelling through France, easy to find, room was spot on, very good bar and restaurant area with a pool outside. The food was excellent that we had in the evening and will definitely stop here again!

L’attente pour aller à table alors que nous avions réservé. Les plats moyens (froid ou tiède) avec un prix élevé. Petit déjeuner moyen. plus d’omelettes ni de saucisses pendant 30mn. En réclamant nous avions l’air de déranger, énerver serait un terme plus exact. Il est vrai qu’il y avait beaucoup de monde mais un hôtel 4 étoiles ne devrait pas être débordé par une clientèle nombreuse.

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, le confort, l'excellent petit déjeuner très complet et varié. La piscine est un plus, surtout par les journées de forte chaleur !

Novotel débordé par le nombre de touristes . Chambres pas faites jusqu’en fin d’après midi . Repas avec viande mal cuite . À chaque commande d’une boisson ou un café il fallait payer immédiatement impossible de mettre sur chambre. Piscine très bruyante vu le nombre d’enfants . Empreinte de carte pour caution contre vols ou casse en chambre mais pas d’état des lieux avant et après ???? Dommage de ne pas avoir du personnel formé et surtout suffisant dans cette période. Je ne serais plus client en cette période de vacances .

on a aimé la piscine, la taille raisonnable de l'hotel, le personnel à la reception.

Le restaurant donnait envie car a coté de la piscine, mais la carte tres reduite et malheureusment personnel débordé, donc apres une longue attente on a annulé notre table pour diner à l'exterieur de l'hotel (superbe restaurant a proximité donc finallement une bonne alternative!). Meme un verre au bar demandait une longue attente. Le petit dejeuné manquait de propreté au niveau du buffet ( lait avoine qui avait tourné). Et la proposition de plat chaud était de basse qualité par rapport au reste qui était tres bien.

Le peu de transats disponibles autour de la piscine, pas de possibilité de poser une serviette pour se baigner ; Piscine, plutôt petite ; les horaires du petit déjeuner ferment trop tôt (9h30).

This hotel close to the highway is more than just a night sleep on the way to..... You feel welcome,the amenities are very nice and well maintained. The pool,the Tesla superchargers... We had a good time while we only expected a good night sleep...
