Batang Golden Hills

I stayed one night at Batang Golden Hills. I used this as a base to visit the surrounding locations from Diamond Beach to Manta Point on motorbike. I was hosted by Ayu and her son who were both very welcoming and helpful during my stay. I was able to drop my backpack of early and spend the whole day exploring. My room was clean and comfotable. Their is a small warung attached. I had dinner there and breakfast before departing for the west coast. The food was good and I enjoyed both meals. Thankyou for my stay. I would stay here again 🙏

There was nothing I did not like about this business

I had a wonderful stay here. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and feels just like being part of a family. My room was cleaned every day and was always spotless. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a pleasure. If you’re looking for privacy, peace, and tranquility, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The family were always kind, helpful, and available whenever I needed anything. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience. I hope to come back one day!

Am ales aceasta cazare pentru o noapte datorita pozitionarii relativ apropiate de Diamond Beach si datorita faptului ca avea un restaurant pentru cina. Am avut totusi aer conditionat in camera si un mic dejun bun inclus in pretul cazarii.

Pentru pretul aferent unei nopti de cazare conditiile au fost decente, insa lenjeriile nu au fost foarte curate, iar in camera era un miros destul de inchis si umed. La cina nu am reusit sa bem ceva rece( frigiderul nu functiona), nu am avut frigider in camera, iar baia ar necesita mici reparatii/imbunatatiri.

Lit très confortable et grand. Vue. Bon petit déjeuner. Placé près de la route principale. Belles plages proches en scooter.

Chỗ nghỉ ở giữa khu rừng. Thật tuyệt khi được đắm chìm giữa chim muông và cỏ cây. Tôi thức dậy cùng với tiếng chim. Thật tuyệt phải không. Phòng và đồ ăn khá rẻ.

El lugar donde se encuentra es un paraíso! Las habitaciones tienen una vista increíble. Es tranquilo, la familia es muy atenta y amable y la comida deliciosa.

Everything was perfect, if you want some peace its the best stay I can recommend. Just rent a scooty at the harbor and you are all good to go as many as places you want

Es maravilloso, unas vistas increíbles. Las paredes tienen un poco de humedad pero para nosotros no fue un problema. La relación con el precio es perfecta. La ubicación está bien, cerca y lejos de todo. Está en la zona del centro de la isla por lo que todo está a 30mins -45 mins en moto. Las dos mujeres son suuuuper amables y te ayudan con lo que necesites.

Une de nos meilleures expériences en Indonésie ! La tranquillité de l’hôtel, la propreté des chambres, les délices du restaurant (et du petit déjeuner😍) et surtout la gentillesse des gérants. Tout était parfait, encore merci.

Comfort place, good and friendly staff and the vibes so dramatic and peaceful. If you order food, ask for a menu beforehand before you get hungry so you can prepare, as the wait for it to be cooked can be quite long. It's far from anywhere, so we understand.

a bit disturbed by the dog following us everywhere and the sound of its barking in the middle of the night woke us up

La atención del personal muy buena. La habitación grande y limpia, la cama cómoda. Muy buena relación calidad y precio.

Solo como pequeño detalle se puede decir que la tele era un poco pequeña para lo grande que es la habitación y al baño le falta algo de decoración. Por lo demás todo estuvo bien.

We would like to give a big thank you to the lovely people at Batang Golden Hill! Everyone was very welcoming, kind and helpful. The little houses are great, you have everything you need and the location is on the mountain, very peacefull and relaxing. We also enjoyed driving around the island with a moto.

It is run by a very nice family, food was delicious, room was nice and cozy. Snorkeling tour was good for seeing Mantas.

The location is a bit hard too reach, but this makes for a really quiet spot. The bed slope was a bit small for the matress

la famille qui s'occupe de tout celà est adorable. On est dans des bungalows individuels avec vue sur la jungle. Le petit déjeuner inclus est parfait et j'ai adoré le prendre sur la terrasse du bungalow face à la vue. Possibilité de prendre des repas que la famille sert directement sur la terrasse. J'ai adoré !

Absolutely amazing place! And the view!! Beautiful room and terrace! There is even a furniture! You can have a breakfast/dinner brought to your room and enjoy watching the view from the terrace while eating! Magical place. Thank you.

The drainage in the shower is a bit clogged so the water stays there long and it smells a little once it’s dry. A bit of mold in one corner of the room (which is sad as the room is so beautiful).

Really loved my 5 nights at Batang Golden Hills! Stunning mountain views, it's pretty isolated but can get to everywhere on a scooter and you can get food and water from the restaurant bit. Family was absolutely lovely - arranged driver, scooter, and prepared lots of lovely meals!

There were some shortish power cuts but otherwise all good - wifi, AC and kettle were great!

Owner and staff were very nice. There were 3 cute dogs always waiting for us 😊. Room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Hot water for shower work OK, Air conditioning work well.

The location is remote. Far from restaurant / Cafe.

Ca 50 Minuten von der Fähre entfernt, somit ist der Transport von hier aus nicht günstig (300.000). Warm Wasser nur begrenzt vorhanden. Sehr hohe Feuchtigkeit im dem Zimmer, obwohl es kaum geregnet hat. Dennoch hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt. (Habe zwei Zimmer gebucht, deswegen zweimal die selbe Bewertung)

This accomodation exceded all our expectations!!! So relaxable, calm, cosy, clean, good food, good motobikes, and good location of the island! If you want to be quiet, in a local/family guest house, this is the best option!!! We have enjoyed everything there!!! Thanks so much!! Chris & Zuzie!!

Remontées d’odeurs dans la salle de bain Nous avons dû cohabiter avec un énorme gecko dans notre chambre qui ne voulait pas partir 😅

Pobyt v těchto chatičkách byl naprosto úžasný zážitek! Výhledy jsou dechberoucí – každý den jsme se probouzeli s pohledem na nekonečný oceán a okolní zelené kopce. Samotné prostředí je velmi klidné, krásné a ideální pro odpočinek i duševní očistu. Chatičky jsou čisté, útulné, s teplou vodou, klimatizací a příjemným posezením na verandě. K dispozici je půjčení skútrů přímo na místě, což je obrovské plus, protože bez skútru se po ostrově těžko pohybujete. A co se týče lidí, kteří se o místo starají – neskutečně skvělí lidé se srdcem na pravém místě. Vždy ochotní pomoci, poradit, nebo třeba někam zavézt, pokud se necítíte na řízení skútru sami. Díky nim si opravdu připadáte jako doma. Snídaně byly výborné a kuchyně nabízí velmi chutná jídla za skvělé ceny (cca 40 000–60 000 IDR), takže se skvěle najíte i bez nutnosti jezdit někam daleko. Doporučuji ale spíše lidem, kteří zvládají řídit skútr – cesty na ostrově jsou často velmi strmé a rozbité. K Diamond a Atuh Beach je to ze zdejších chatiček asi 15 minut jízdy přes prudké kopce. Osobně doporučuji zvolit cestu kolem Golden Hill směrem k Atuh Beach a pak pozvolna přejít k Diamond Beach a známému Treehouse – je to příjemnější trasa. Celkově toto ubytování naprosto doporučuji. Byl to jeden z nejkrásnějších zážitků na Nusa Penidě a rozhodně bych se sem ráda vrátila.

K pláži to bylo 6 km a ne 2,6 jak je psáno zde na booking, ale vždy potřebujete skútr.

We loved this place so much we stayed another night , the rooms are overlooking a beautiful rainforest and it’s so relaxing!! The rooms are clean the bed is super comfy and the host family is wonderful , I even went to the owners school he is a teacher and I played sport with the kids!! We will definitely be back one day can’t wait!! Also the wife is a good cook highly recommend eating dinner and breakfast there 😄

Todo estaba muy limpio y bien colocado, las habitaciones grandes y con aire acondicionado. El desayuno buenísimo y abundante. Destaco la buena atención, están disponibles para ti en todo momento

La ubicación es el único punto débil aún así facil acceso

Mi è piaciuta la pulizia della stanza. La camera era super accogliente con una bella vista. Proprietari molto accoglienti e disponibili, buona anche la cucina. Ottima qualitá/prezzo.

Beautiful property! We loved our stay here. The hosts were very friendly & accommodating. The room was private with a beautiful view. Bathroom had all essentials including toiletries and hot water. Beaches & nature nearby... But you will need a scooter to navigate the island. The restaurant in the property had good food & they accommodated our vegetarian preference. We can't wait to come back. If you are nature lover u should definitely visit..

If you want a quiet place then is this is it.

Nous avons apprécié l'hospitalité et la disponibilité de nos hôtes. La vue dans les montagnes et le beau jardin fleuri tout autour de l'hôtel. Nous avons goûté tous les plats et nous nous sommes régalés. La sortie snorkeling + raies Mantas était exceptionnelle et pas cher du tout. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !!!

Dommage un peu isolé dans la montagne pas d'autres restaurants autour. Location de scooter ou de voiture obligatoire sur des petites routes en très mauvais état et dangereuses

Chambre spacieuse, au calme dans les collines, logement propre, bien équipé, on y mange bien, nous y sommes restés 5 jours finalement !

The host's hospitality was outstanding, creating a warm, homey atmosphere with the nicest vibe. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the other dishes were equally tasty. The location is secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The accommodation facilities are great for the price you pay. We were overall satisfied, so we would recommend.

Es waren sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer, die Klimaanlage lief gut und die Aussicht von der Terrasse war der Hammer. Das Personal war super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Es gibt da auch die Möglichkeit einen Scooter zu mieten. Zusätzlich bekommt man auch von früh bis abends leckeres und preiswerted essen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Man braucht auf jeden Fall einen Scooter wenn man sich etwas ansehen will. Ich denke aber dass das überall auf der Insel so ist. Dafür hat man es nicht weit zu verschiedenen tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ich kann den Diamond beach sehr empfehlen!

Personeel altijd erg vriendelijk, kamer werd elke dag netjes schoongemaakt. Elke dag werd het bed netjes opgemaakt, kussensloop werd indien nodig uit hen zelf vervangen. We kregen regelmatig nieuwe schone handdoeken. Het eten was heerlijk en veel beter dan in de lokale restaurants. de menu's werden op persoonlijke voorkeuren aangepast. Bijvoorbeeld; als ik extra komkommer en tomaat erbij wilde kreeg ik dat. Ik kon al mijn eten vegetarisch krijgen. Tevens heb je voor 25K heerlijke verse fruit smoothies. Wij kunnen dit verblijf iedereen aanraden.

het enige minpuntje waar Batang Golden Hills niks aan kan doen zijn de gevaarlijke wegen van Nusa Penida. Dus als je een scooter huur rijd vooral rustig en verantwoord.

The bungalow is spacious and very clean. With an amazing view. The owners are so lovely. And the food is very affordable and they make the best gado gado and noodles we could find on the island

L'endroit est charmant avec sa vue sur les collines et coloré de part la présence de bougainvilliers. Les hôtes sont très gentils et arrangeants. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux. La chambre est confortable, c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix !

Le seul petit bémol est la qualité des scooters qui mériteraient une bonne révision.

A házigazda és az egész család nagyon kedves. Szuper tiszta és tágas szoba, friss ágynemű, melegvíz, kilátás a hegyekre és a naplementére. Közel van a Diamond és Atuh beach. Ár-érték arányban szuper!

A wifi nem működött jól a szobában, munkához sajnos nagyon lassú és akadozó. A párna nekem kicsit kényelmetlen volt és a klíma világítása éjszaka zavaró volt.

TOUT !!! De la vue depuis la chambre à la cuisine délicieuse en passant par la qualité de la literie tout était exceptionnel. Rajouté à ça une hospitalité sans nom et une gentillesse qui fait chaud au cœur et vous obtenez BATANG GOLDEN HILLS Mention spéciale à Bayu qui vous sera utile quelque soit votre besoin, il pourra par exemple booker vos excursion ou encore vous mettre en contact avec PUTU (chauffeur et guide) d'une qualité rare. Je précise que je ne mets jamais de commentaire même si l'expérience vécue m'a plus mais quelque chose de l'ordre du magique m'a touchée lors de mon séjour dans cette établissement tenue par une famille formidable. 1000 mercis encore (dans l'espoir de revenir un jour) Ps: certains commentaire mentionne la WIFI comme étant mauvaise. Personnellement aucun soucis.

El personal que regenta el alojamiento tuvo un trato excepcional con nosotros, nada más llegar recibimos un refresco de bienvenida. El alojamiento en sí tiene unas vistas muy bonitas, en una zona muy tranquila pero accesible y la cama es muy comoda. Pero por encima de todo fue el trato amable y cercano de los dueños del alojamiento lo que nos hizo sentir como en casa. Experiencia unica.

La estadía fue maravillosa, el lugar es hermoso y es perfecto si estás buscando desconectar y estar cerca de la naturaleza, es un lugar que da muchísima paz, las habitaciones son muy cómodas. Los anfitriones son personas hermosas y les agradezco por haber hecho mi estadía más especial. El restaurante tiene comida deliciosa, gracias!

Lamentablemente en mi caso fue un poco difícil la movilidad ya que no se manejar moto y queda un poco alejado del puerto, en la isla no es fácil moverse y los taxis o motos son un poco costosos, sin embargo los anfitriones me apoyaron en todo momento y me ayudaron mucho. Sin embargo, si tienes moto alquilada es el lugar perfecto para quedarse.

Great value for money, but please be aware there is absolutely nothing in the area (not even a proper shop), maybe one restaurant but that is all. The food at this hotel was not good and the chicken satay was cold.
