The staff who came to deliver food for in room dining to our room was drunk on twice the occasions all this while we had one infant and one toddler with us.

Everything was great from welcome, to rooms, property, staffs, food, pool, and lastly the clean beach

The location was good

The hospitality was not good. The rooms were so far from the reception and there was no one to help escort me to the room. I had to go find my room by myself. The staff are not helpful. The variety in menu is limited for in room dining . Not worth the price.

Overall the resort was awesome...right from the room, cleanliness, food, amenities, beach access, safety.

Maybe a little better buffet spread. It was good..but some other different choices

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at this resort with our friends and kids, including an 8-month-old infant. The entire experience was comfortable, relaxing, and truly enjoyable for everyone. The best part was definitely the food. The staff was incredibly accommodating and prepared whatever we requested according to our needs and preferences. This was especially helpful while travelling with kids and an infant. The food was fresh, delicious, and made our stay even more special. Overall, a great place for a family and friends’ getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily visit again! ❤️

We came for one of our friends' babymoon. On arrival only, we were told to get the complementary cake for the occasion which we didn't receive throughout our stay even after reminding them too.

Spacious room and extremely helpful staff. It was a long weekend, and the hotel was fully occupied, but the staff was always there to assist with a smile and take care of all the guests The location is quiet and peaceful Breakfast spread is quite decent and includes local and continental cuisines Pool facility is nice, open and green garden area are added advantage and extremely pleasing

Great Service, wonderful pool, amazing beach

Excellent stay at the resort. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is beautiful. I was travelling with kids and elderly parents and the buggy service which took them from door to door was such an excellent service. Food was good and the resort is well maintained.

We had disabilities issues with some family members. There was no direct lift going to the restaurant from the lobby and the only lift accessible was a lot of walk through the kitchen. Pls can you install a lift which goes from lobby to the restaurant for elderly ppl and guests with small kids. Many thanks!

La seule chose avec laquelle nous avons eu du mal, c'est les transports. Il y a un groupe de taxi qui a pris le contrôle devant le portail de l'hôtel et empêche les autres taxis de rentrer. A part ça, l'hôtel etait vraiment a la hauteur de nos attentes

The beach was nice

The food tasted like nothing. It tastes like mud. There is hygiene lacking at many places with dirty plates and clean plates being carried via the same door in the hotel lobby where buffet is served. Service is tooo slow. Disappointing stay.

Overall a very good experience in terms of location, atmosphere, food and rooms. However the bath section is a little bit restrictive in terms of width. An additional 6 to 9 inches would have made it ideal.

Lovely Hotel for a Family star Visit. The chef prepared a very delicious meal. Special thanx to Satyanarayanji and Dineshji and Felicia for wonderful service provided. I simply love the way everyone makes you feel special. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in south Goa.

A genuinely memorable stay at Caravela Beach Resort We came to Caravela for a family vacation, but what we are taking back with us are memories of the people who made the stay special. For me, a good holiday really comes down to three things — food, comfort and security. Caravela exceeded our expectations on all three. The food was outstanding. What impressed us most was that the chefs actually listened to what we wanted to experience in Goa and then created dishes around it — especially the seafood and other local culinary experiences we were looking forward to. A huge thank you to Chef Narayan Singh, Chef Prasad, Chef Yesudas, Chef Vigender and Pastry Chef Dinesh. They were incredibly accommodating and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Bhupesh deserves a special mention too. We arrived on Sunday evening not knowing anyone or really knowing our way around, and within a short conversation he made us feel completely at ease. A wonderful communicator and a great people person. The dining team — Rabi, Aritra, Radhika, Velant and Reshmi — were simply tireless. Always moving, always attentive and always willing to help. Service seemed to come naturally to them. A special thank you to Rahul and Gorak for arranging an upright chair for me near both the pool and the beach whenever I needed one. It was a small request, but it made a big difference to my comfort. The housekeeping team — Saniya, Aryan and Akash — were fantastic. Anyone travelling with children will understand what I mean when I say they could walk into a wonderfully chaotic room and somehow turn it back into a beautifully clean space. The little animal creations they left for the children were a lovely touch. And thank you to Emmy for the thoughtful help and tips regarding our daughter's needs. The cleanliness of the entire resort deserves special praise. Everything was exceptionally well maintained, clean and cared for. And the beach — honestly, one of the cleanest beaches I have experienced. I would come back just for that. The security team also stood out. Jay Shankar at the beach entrance remembered our room and our faces, which gave us a real sense of security. Anit had already arranged first aid when my son got hurt, before we even reached reception. Another night, a security guard came running from the poolside to warn us about broken glass on the walkway so that we wouldn't walk over it. Those little things tell you a lot about how seriously a property takes care of its guests. The buggy teams were equally helpful and always got us around the property safely and without hesitation. There were also many others whose names I unfortunately didn't get — including some of the interns — but who helped us throughout our stay. They deserve recognition too. And we loved the evening music at the Lanai Dining Area. Seve, who performed on the 13th, was excellent. We also really enjoyed the Monday and Tuesday performances. I am writing this review because I genuinely feel these people deserve the recognition. Nobody asked me to write it. It is simply my way of saying thank you. There is an old saying I kept thinking about during our stay: hire the right people and you don't have to manage them — they manage themselves. That is exactly what it felt like here. Thank you, Caravela, for a wonderful family holiday. We will remember the place, but more importantly, we will remember the people.

The location and access to the beach are excellent plus points for the resort.

1. Goa does not have Uber/Ola. Goamiles did not accept cab bookings from the resort (though there were cabs to drop us to the resort). It did not leave us with a good taste that the cab service by the travel desk was too expensive. Best that you spend time at the resort itself instead of planning engagements outside the resort, given the cost for cabs. 2. Size of the room felt small for the price being paid. 3. The TV in the room was not a Smart TV, which is ubiquitous in most resorts in this category.

Excellent landscape, & surrounded best location, with rain awsome staffs support, paying attention to each & every individual for food or room service ect.... Particularly i would more emphasize on mr Satyanarayana sharma & his teammates were very nice 👍. Also The girls team who used to pickup used plates were very hardworking and sincere to their job. She should be given some reward by the management. (I forgot her name). But believe me, she deserves it. Food was highly delicious, rooms were very good. In nutshell, the whole experience was awesome. The credit goes to staff & their trainer teachers...🙏

Wonderful experience. Extremely courteous team, good food, clean, spacious rooms, large swimming pool and wonderfully green all around. We went as a family of 26 people and were extremely pleased with our accommodation. It is definitely value for money.

The location is great and the property itself is beautiful, with a beach-facing setting. Unfortunately, the hospitality and service do not match the property. I visited this so-called 5-star hotel and was honestly very disappointed with the overall experience. It started with the airport-like security at the entrance, where a woman guard threatened to confiscate my bag because it had a small speaker that I use to watch movies on my laptop. Not exactly the kind of welcome you expect at a 5-star hotel. Things didn’t get better at reception. The staff seemed completely uninterested and made me feel like they didn’t really care whether I was there or not. I was kept waiting for almost 2 hours for check-in. They have this strange 3 PM check-in and 11 AM checkout policy. When I asked for an ETA on when I could check in so I could at least leave the hotel and come back later, I was repeatedly told, “The room is getting cleaned,” without any clear answer. People don’t book 5-star hotels just for good beds, pillows, or a comfortable chair. They book them for the hospitality — to feel welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of. Unfortunately, that is exactly what this hotel is missing. I spent 3 days at a other 4 star beach facing hotel in Goa before coming here, and the difference in hospitality was huge. The staff there actually made you feel welcomed and taken care of. This hotel has a great location and a beautiful property, but the reception and other staff seem simply not interested in providing the level of service you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Great property, great location, but very poor hospitality. I would avoid booking it if service and hospitality are important to you.

Excellent for family or couples who are looking for relaxed time. It's green everywhere, rooms are neat and clean. Housekeeping is excellent. Beach is accessible from property and you can visit any time in the night as well. Food is also excellent specially breakfast. Overall is excellent.

We are staying at Caravela Beach Resort in Goa, and our experience has been wonderful. The resort is very beautiful, and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. A special thanks to Mr. Samim, who arranged our beach proposal. He did an amazing job and made the moment truly special and memorable. We would also like to thank Mr. Rahul, the restaurant manager, who is a very honest and helpful person. He took great care of us and helped make our event amazing. A big thank you to the decoration team as well for their wonderful work. The food and service are both excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely recommend Caravela Beach Resort to our family and friends. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so special!

We had a wonderful experience at the Caravela Beach resort. The resort is maintained extremely clean and very good staff. The food options were very good healthy and tasty. The chefs Satya Narayan and Dinesh were very friendly and extremely professional. We will definitely visit again. We had such a good time.

Great experience at Caravela. We stayed for 3 nights and the service was exceptional. Food is decent , rooms are comfortable and the beach access is great. The overall property and hospitality stood out.

Stayed there for 4 days with my wife and had an amazing experience. Not only the property is good and is beach side, but the staff too is really polite and friendly. I would especially mention chef Satya, golf cart driver Sagar and restaurant staff Bhupesh. All of them are very professional and friendly at the same time. Overall, it was really great experience at Caravela.

Rooms are pretty good and comfortable, they have a lot of activities for the kids and the beach is pretty clean. The housekeeping was excellent, saniya and rameena were very helpful. They helped with extra towels, plates and the odd times we were locked out of the rooms. The pool and gardens are very nice and quite safe for the kids. There's life guards at the pools and beaches. The food though could be better.

Private beach

The property’s biggest advantage is its private beach and beachfront location. However, it is very old, with poorly maintained facilities and slow staff service. The restaurant was disappointing, with limited breakfast options and poor food quality. Hygiene was a major concern—the staff were visibly sweating while serving food, and pigeons were flying around the dining area, making it feel unhygienic. Overall, the location is excellent, but the poor facilities, service, food, and hygiene made the stay disappointing.

Beach cafe was an out of the blue experience! Caravela staff is extremely helpful, polite and courteous. Food is scrumptious especially the fish. Goan food was to the T. Mr.Rahul from beach gave us a memorable experience. Thisnisnour 6th time at Caravela and would love to come here again and again

Satyanarayan in the restaurant is a remarkable employee who served is diligently. Stay was fun and good place for a business conference with good facilities and good big swimming pool as well. Good place for a vacation with family as well, beach touching venue.

Caravela beach resort is very beautiful resort.superb beach view,excellent room facility and pool is so warm and inviting.food spread is awesome.staffj very polite,ciurteous and helpful.but the best part is 24 hr cart facility.due to which my elderly parents were sble to enjoy the resort.by far the best resort i ve visited in goa.esp umesh ,rohit and all the cart drivers were so helful..our vacation was a,memorable vacation due to the facilities and beauty of resort.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is fantastic and makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking for peace and susegad goa vibes. A special mention goes to the housekeeping team—Leo, Malik, and Santan—who took exceptional care of our rooms throughout our stay. Their attention to detail, warmth, and dedication made a noticeable difference and truly enhanced our experience. The staff, in general, are the biggest strength of this property, always courteous, helpful, and eager to ensure guests are comfortable. From a dining perspective, while the breakfast was enjoyable, it would benefit from a wider variety of options and a more extensive spread. We also felt that some of the food's taste and textures could be refined. We discussed this with the chef, who was very receptive to our feedback and responded positively, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this is a great place to stay with an amazing location and an outstanding team. With a few improvements to the breakfast selection and some refinements to the food, the experience would be even better. We would happily recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.

The Pan Asian restaurant Carnival was great. great food and excellent service. Chef Ramchandra and Ramkishore gave us great dim sums, sushi rolls and a good triple schewan and took care of us personally. Ravi did great service. Wonderful !!!!!

Chef Ram Chandra and Chef Ram kishore along with server Ravi served a fantastic meal which was really enjoyed. A must visit restaurant if staying at the Caravela beach resort.
