Un antiguo molino a orillas del Río. Habitación ámplia y límpia, y poco ruidosa aunque dejes la ventana abierta. Cama muy cómoda. Personal muy amable, llamamos con muy poco tiempo para reservar la cena en el mismo restaurante y no nos pusieron ningún problema. Por cierto la cena en terraza con vistas al río un gran acierto.

Las zonas comunes como el balcón que rodea el hotel y el baño de recepción necesitan un poco más de limpieza.

Bien situé et le restaurant est bon.

Chambres petites, rideaux peu occultants, pas d’eau à dispo. Dérangé par le bruit et les femmes de menage qui vous réveillent à 9h en toquant à la porte de votre chambre pour faire le menage. C’est tres désagréable surtout quand on y séjourne qu’une nuit.

Hotel bellissimo ricavato in un ex granaio. Camere pulite, ottima colazione, parcheggio comodo. La posizione è fantastica e ottima, con una vista sul centro meravigliosa.

Le petit déjeuner en terrasse, dehors, au-dessus du Tarn et face à la cathédrale s'est révélé un atout majeur pour le séjour à l'hôtel. A l'accueil, la fontaine d'eau à la disposition des clients est très appréciée.

Nous avons trouvé que la salle de bain - toilettes était petite, comparée avec un hôtel de Pau de même standing occupé précédemment. On arrive à faire la différence entre le personnel professionnel engagé dans son métier et le personnel en job d'été, qui l'est moins, c'est dommage. Quand autour de 19h00, personne n'est à l'accueil alors que trois personnes discutent dans le local bureau, il ne me semble pas que ce soit véritablement professionnel.

L'attente au restaurant était vraiment trop longue, sans rien recevoir, même pas de l'eau, ni pouvoir commander avant 1/2h ! Dommage pour un établissement de ce niveau ! Les plats étaient par contre très bons.

Excellently located with easy walking access to the cathedral, village and restaurants. Albi is a wonderful place which we want to explore more!

Parts are being renovated and seem not yet complete - like the gym - but I'm sure it will soon be finished and ready for full use. The rooms are not yet as updated as the shared areas, and the carpets etc are a bit old. But still a very comfortable nights stay en route to our home destination.

Exceptional location overlooking river and old city. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Good restaurant. Easy to walk to the old city for touristing.

Restaurant meals were hit and miss. First night meals were bland, zero salt on pasta - barely eatable. Weird tasting gaspacho - too heavy on balsamic. Second night meal was great. Not sure what changed. Maybe chef had the night off on Sunday night (first night)?

We stayed two nights and on arrival upgraded to a suite which was superb and well worth the additional cost. It overlooked the river and the cathedral and was a haven as the temperature outside exceeded 40C! Staff were courteous and helpful and our meals were very pleasant experiences. The terrace is a very welcoming area - except when it is very hot but nonetheless was a very pleasant sitting area. The bar staff were excellent in their knowledge of serving gin and tonics which were delivered with a flourish!

the car park needs a little understanding and it would have been helpful if we had been informed that it is possible to drive down to the hotel entrance to drop off luggage, rather than discover that fact later - particularly when it was so hot

Zeer mooie ligging aan de rivier met prachtig zicht vanop de kamer. Je bent dadelijk in de oude stad en er is parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Goed bed.

El aire acondicionado no enfriaba. Toda la noche sin poder dormir. Cama incómoda. Baño pequeño y la ducha ridícula. Una persona alta no cabe de altura y te has de duchar de lado. La pintura de las paredes estropeada en habitación y pasillos. Las ventanas a ras de suelo por lo que pagas las vistas pero vistas cero. Ni de broma es un 4 estrellas. Sobran 2. Caluroso, viejo y feo.

Des notre arrivée la carte na pas fonctionné. Nous avons du redescendre 3 fois a l'accueil et finalement la personne a du venir nous ouvrir avec son badge. Dans la salle de bains il y avait des centaines de fourmis. L'eau du robinet tiède. C est dommage et pas agréable du tout. Avec la chaleur nous aurions apprécié une bouteille d'eau fraîche dans le réfrigérateur.

The exterior of building was beautiful and was in a great location

We booked a superior room, it was so small and so was the bathroom. The carpets were worn and looked unclean, paint was peeling off in the bathroom in multiple places. The shower screen did not work properly and the whole room smelled unpleasant. If this was a superior room we dread to think what a basic room was like. The bedroom also had peeling paint and chipped windowsill. All in all very disappointing, will never return to this hotel.

Le personnel et l'emplacement sont au top, tout comme le petit dejeuner. La vue sur la cathédrale est superbe.

L'odeur d'un produit quand on rentre à la réception est beaucoup trop forte ! Il faudrait l'attenuer...

Tolle Aussicht auf den Fluss. Großes Zimmer mit allem Komfort. Haben sogar unser E-Auto laden können. Klimaanlage! Alles fußläuftig. Tollles kleines familiäres Restaurant schräg gegenüber.Abendessen aber auch im Haus. Wasserspender, Parkplatz, Infomateriakl. 4 Strenre, auch wenn man leider nur auf Durchreise ist. Unbedingt entlang der die Schlucht der Tarn fahren. Haben Museen (Taulouse-Lautrec) und Wildwassersee Trebas verpasst.

Frühstück zu teuer. Haben verzichtet.

The location was fantastic, and the heritage mill building was beautiful.

The air conditioning in this room was barely sufficient for the heat wave southern France was experiencing, and the room felt a bit humid.

The location was great and it’s a beautiful building. The staff were polite and the food was lovely.

The aircon wasn’t the best in the room we were in.

The location is excellent, 10 mins walk to St. Cecile. Dinner on the terrace was the highlight, overseeing the river and view of the church. Room was large and clean and bed very comfy.

The restaurant prices seemed a bit high.

Die Lage ist zum Erkunden der Stadt (Kathedrale) ideal. und das alte Gebäude am Fluss ist schön erhalten.

Die Zufahrt mit dem Auto hat sich etwas schwierig gestaltet, weil es eine verkehrsberuhigte Zone in der Stadt gibt. Unsere telefonische Nachfrage wie man zum Hotel gelangt, wurde nicht sehr freundlich beantwortet. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn das Hotel auf die verkehrsberuhigte Zone hinweisen und eine Umleitungsstrecke empfehlen würde. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat uns dann freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick auch schön - die Aussicht auf den Fluss fast magisch. Aber das Badezimmer ist nicht das was man von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwartet. Mini-Badewanne mit Duschwand und in der Ecke Kalk und schwarzer Schimmel :(

Prima locatie om de stad te verkennen, prachtig uitzicht op de Tarn en de kathedraal. Fijn terras aan de rivier.

De kamer was wat klein en we hadden niet verwacht dat de waterval in de rivier zoveel lawaai zou maken. De eerste dag was het restaurant en de keuken dicht.

Situation exceptionnelle, avec une vue imprenable sur le Tarn, la cathédrale et le centre d'Albi. Le cadre et la rénovation réussie d'un bâtiment historique. Grande chambre très propre et lumineuse. Parking juste devant l'hôtel avec un accès très facile.

L'accueil à l'arrivée par un jeune peu souriant. Dans la chambre, le frigo qui ne fonctionne pas (et ce même garçon qui nous dit que c'est normal)

Situation superbe, face au Tarn et de la célèbre cathédrale. Bon.accueil féminin, et très bon service au bar et son ambiance feutrée. Les cocktails sans alcool sont délicieux et préparés avec amour. Excellent room service ( malgré 1 oubli une fois, lors du relevé de la commande) Chambre impeccable et très propre.( pourquoi un réfrigérateur moderne mais VIDE ?...il y a une fontaine à eau, certes, au lobby...on aurait aimé trouver au moins 2 bouteilles d'eau !)

La salle du restaurant beaucoup trop bruyante, surtout quand un groupe d'italiens y vocifere !. On peut se réfugier au bar propisant des tapas,, heureusement !. Terrasse agréable pouvant etre inconfortable lorsqu'il fait chaud. Très belle vues sur le fleuve et la cité.

Hôtel exceptionnellement bien situé avec une vue imprenable sur le centre d'Albi, le Tarn et la cathédrale. Etablissement très bien tenu et très propre.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur du reste et son rapport qualité/prix est trop élevé. Par exemple, il n'y a pas de muesli ni de porridge. Un seul ascenseur est aussi une faiblesse.

Chain Hotels meet a great challenge because once "the tone is set", all the other hotels in the chain must respond positively and carry the consequences (good or bad) for the chain. MERCURE hotels are normally good value for money, but I find that sometime the restaurant of the hotel is not really up to the (expected or pretended) standard. MERCURE de ALBI, FRANCE is a very nice exception both for the jotel.and its restaurant. The location is awsome and you can reach the centre of town in 5-8 minutes walking. There is a nice parking. The rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms are perhaps a little small, but "do the job" The reception is very friendly. The restaurant warrants a detour, especially seated on the terrace. The meals can be considered gastronomic. A real effort is made by the cook to present a "down to earth" meal that attracts the eye and the mouth. The use of fresh vegetables,roasted patatoes with the "confit canard and foie gras" made this plate a great pleasure. Prices are within acceptable bouderies, but I noticed that overall in the Western world, 20% has been added over the last 5 years everywhere. The quantity and quality has not kept pace. But this restaurant and hotel is a fine exception that at least make an effort to help "price/quality" drive the idea of "price/pleasure in the good ditection. Overall staff very pztifnt and dedicated

Love the view from our room. The location was excellent.

Mercure Albi var väldigt vackert och strategiskt beläget vi floden Tarn. Vi hade rum med utsikt - över Tarn och den stora katedralen. Parkeringen var belägen inne på gården bakom hotellet.

Otroligt dåligt kaffe, café americain, svagt och blaskigt. Duschcabinen var felkonstruerad; vattnet flöt ut över golvet efter duschen. Vi fick lägga ut handdukar…
