Centrally located. Parking available & easy to find. Comfortable bed. Perfect for our stopover.

Location, central in Angoulême

Nothing

Welcoming staff, warm friendly atmosphere

Parking difficult, the toilet had been left full of excrement! Had to change rooms, 2nd room had a clean toilet but bathroom looking very tired for 140 euro per night!

Het vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel

Eigenlijk geen opmerkingen hier op.

Emplacement et confort de l'hotel.

Location superb , room very comfortable , breakfast was adequate would of been a lot better if cooked items and plates were hot not cold.

Cold cooked fooda , eggs ,bacon , sausages

I liked the welcome at check in and the atmosphere as I passed through the hotel. The public areas looked very clean and very tidy, and the bar looked very inviting!

I was given room 107 which had a view of the garden. The room looked perfect and I settled myself in. I prepared my change of clothes and got ready to take a shower. Before getting in the shower I lifted the toilet seat to urinate, and the toilet was full of excrement! I telephoned reception and asked for another room which they arranged. I get dressed, gathered my belongings and went to reception to change the key for the 2nd room. On entering the 2nd room all was well except I have to say the bathroom was still not particularly clean, the door frame was too wide for the door so it could not be closed, there was stained and dirty grout, and overall it was looking rather tired. Not what I would expect for 140.00 euros!

Lovely comfortable hotel in beautiful surroundings

L emplacement

Rien

Great location, attentive reception staff, good breakfast options

2 days in a row room was not cleaned, no apology or fix when highlighted twice (well within house keeping hours) Bar and restaurant unattended most of time

L'emplacement Le personnel

The staff very friendly, Clément from the Bar and restaurant very helpful and attentive and introduced us to different drinks.

The property suited our needs.

-

This hotel is in a great location and parking was easy. Dinner and breakfast was very good.

Central location, good restaurant, good facilities.

Some parking spaces were small.

Locatie midden het centrum was perfect.

Niets

Small personal in centre of everything lovely

L'emplacement central.

Comfort, convenience, staff courtesy and helpfulness.Good food.

Nothing

Ras

Great location right on the main square, lovely garden, very peaceful. Water fountain and carafes was nice to have. The food in the restaurant was good.

It wasn’t very clean, though they were very nice about that and cleaned the room again. Felt like a few things were missing that would have been nice, e.g. coffee, moisturiser in the room

Very good location and good breakfast and cocktails.

Not enough croissants for the guests for breakfast

We have stayed here several times in recent years - usually two or three days each time - and it always maintains the same high standard. The weather was unusually hot so we were grateful for the air-con. Dinner choices were available and service was of a high quality. Secure parking in a town-centre is always bonus with easy access to the rest of the hotel.

Nothing

Enfim! Super stressante para quem começa as férias!

Freundliches Personal. Restaurant/ Frühstück qualitativ sehr gut.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast menu offered many choices and was well presented.

Room could have been better cleaned each day. Had to ask for Kleenex tissues as it was not automatically replaced.

Good location. Efficient and friendly staff. Excellent food

Nothing

The service in the restaurant was poor. We had to wait 30 minutes before an aperitif order was taken. Also we indicated to reception that on cleaning the room all our drinking glasses were removed. We were told this would be attended to but wasn’t

Everything to start parking welcome very close to everything we required to go and see the hotel was more than we expected for the money we paid Al the facilities they had the outside gardens were a surprise in such a built up area would use again

Onvriendelijk personeel

Niet zoals beloofd op de site.

Personnel très sympathique

Climatisation bruyante

Ligging, terras en bar. Parkeergarage. Goed ontbijt.

Niets bijzonders.

?

Bon emplacement , personnel sympathique

Le troisième couchage était un peu approximatif

Great location, beautiful garden

Disappointed that our room was switched with an older woman whilst we were checking in - our original room having been the better one.

Good location with parking

Paid a lot of money for what felt like a basic room.Bed and pillows hard, no fridge despite the cost.Left a bracelet, took 4 days chasing to acknowledge my messages asking if found and now 10 days on still heard nothing

Sehr sauber, sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr nettes Personal, sehr schöne Lage

Alles super

Tolle Lage, nettes Personal, Klimaanlage

Harte Betten

Brilliant hotel. Nice and clean. Very central. Wish we’d known how to access the parking. But still ok to park over the road under the market.

Very central - near great bistros

Beliggenheden i centrum. Smuk udsigt fra haven. Parkeringskælder. Venligt personale. Generelt dejlig morgenmads buffet. Stort og lækkert udvalg i buffeten. Behagelige senge.

Røræg, bacon og pølser var ikke god. Enkelte hår rester i brusekabinen. Let larmende aircondition på værelset.

Great location , near loads of restaurants and bars

Because it’s near to restaurants and bars the music went on till early hours of the morning , you could hear the bass through the bed . I would recommend staying further back in the hotel not at the front like we did !

Central location nice staff and comfortable room

Rien

A great central location ideally situated with underground parking. The hotel has a super little bistro with a terrace, serving delicious food.

Stayed the weekend for a wedding. Really lovely hotel and rooms. Great location, breakfast was great and staff were lovely!

Nothing it was perfect for our weekend.

Jolie vue, restaurants a proximité

It was in the centre of the old town and it had secure parking

Tudo

Não tinha freegobar. Isso faz muita falta

La suite cinéma est très sympa

Rien

Cinema Suite was fab!

Central location, lovely gardens and we can take the dog in the restaurant

Central to the old town.

Little old fashioned interior!

We expected professional service from such a well established facility and we did receive it. Secure underground parking was provided and we coudl book in earlier than the scheduled time.

Associated "Bardy" restaurant did not live up o the the expectations of the hotel. No bread was served with the meal and the quality of the food could have been better. Major road works around the hotel causing road disruptions and NOISE, not the hotels fault, but perhaps a discount on the room rate may have helped !

Pdj extra.

Location is the best , staff so helpful. Rooms clean and good size

Lack of a swimming pool but the rest was spot on
