Reviewed Sep 6, 2026We loved the location: fruit market was right out front, fish market, butcher, and bus station a short walk. Great areas nearby to walk and sight-see. Easy, keypad entry. Quiet and comfortable apartment. Every communication was done through booking.com we never met any staff in person.
A lift would have been great for us middle agers when bringing our bags up and down the stairs, but we appreciated the exercise in our every day ins and outs.

Kein Sichtschutz in Dusche und Toilette, Einblick vom Schlafzimmer und benachbarter Dachterrasse (per Spiegel). Extrem kleines Waschbecken. Küchentisch nicht nutzbar. Kein Schrank oder Regal im Schlafzimmer.

Die Küche und das Schlafzimmer haben ein Fenster in einen Schacht. Leider geht in diesen Schacht auch die Abluft des im Erdgeschoss gelegenen Döner Laden. Erst wenn diese aus ist, kann man lüften. Auf der Marktseite im Wohnzimmer riecht man das Döner Fett auch dauerhaft, alle Klamotten rochen am Ende des Aufenthalts nach altem Fett, das war wirklich störend!

La litera de arriba sonaba un montón cuanto te movías. Lo peor de todo el apartamento es la máquina de aire acondicionado que hay en un minúsculo patio interior en el piso de abajo que cuando la encendían sube todo el calor hacia arriba y hace que tengas que cerrar esas dos ventanas. Los cristales cogen tanto calor que hace que en el baño y en la habitación principal haga un calor infernal. No hay aire acondicionado en este piso para contrarrestarlo.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Tudo, das pessoas do ambiente da facilidade de ir para qualquer lado num rayo de 30 km, ou seja pode-se dizer que as caldas da rainha está situado estrategicamente num ponto perfeito para tudo, tanto para sossego como para boas actividades, simplesmente adorei. Como se diz nas caldas e bem, não faço mais um caralho 😁.

La serrure des toilettes était défectueuse. Et la taille de la chambre avec la mezzanine était vraiment minuscule.

Wir haben uns gefreut, dass wur direkt am Marktplatz wohnen. Leider habrn wir nicht gedacht, dass abrnds Musik bis über Mitternacht direkt unter unseren Fenster spielt, un 5 Uhr morgens fangen sie an due Marktstände aufzustellen. Mit geschlossenen Fenster, Läden, mit Ohrenstöpseln, in einer Mütze und Kissen oben drauf, habe ich die laute Musik von draussen gehört…

My brother and I are both elderly (75 and 79), in addition my brother has had heart valve surgery and is not fit. Which is why we booked AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION for the FIRST Floor flat. (1 - A LANTERNA MÁGICA). It was when I received the entry instructions from Booking.com that I realised we had been allocated the THIRD floor flat. We could do nothing about it – it was too late to cancel. All we could do was accept the SECOND floor flat we were offered instead. The FIRST floor, I was told, was a long term let, presumably allowed even though we had booked five months in advance. Looking back at documentation I see the change had been made a month before we were due to occupy the flat. Even had I noticed this it would have been too late to change our plans with flights booked etc. The second floor flat was up four narrow, steep sets of stairs which would be a challenge for most people our age. The struggle up the stairs ruined our holiday – we had to organise it so my brother only made the climb once a day. What we didn't like: The stairs and the inability to reserve a particular apartment No storage in the main bedroom just a wooden valet stand. Bathroom sink – tiny and no overflow VERY overpowering scented cushions in the main bedroom and smelly stick incense in the lounge No mirror in the bunk bed room No bedside table in bunk bedroom Wooden floors so noise from above and from people on the stairs. A top heavy plastic plant on the narrow balcony which banged against the railing in strong winds. Noise from the market which was set up from scratch – every day from 6am. And finally – the toilet can be seen clearly through the plain glass windows of the main bedroom and the bathroom. Possibly also (though I did not check) from the flat above and below.

Si vais en coche tener en cuenta que no se puede aparcar en la plaza, todos los.dias hay mercado y somo se puede aparcar de 5 de la tarde en adelante pero a las 5 de la mañana debes dejar el sitio libre para los comerciantes, domingos incluidos.

El sofá es muy incómodo, el lavabo es muy pequeño y gotea el grifo, los ruidos de los pisos superiores son brutales.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Hay muchas cosas que nos gustaron, el apartamento está pensado para cuatro personas, por lo menos el del segundo piso. El piso está dotado de todo lo necesario. Está en una ubicación muy buena, cerca de la estación de buses. El contacto con la compañía que lo gestiona ha sido genial.
La habitación que da a la plaza (la de las literas) no está insonorizada y por lo tanto cuando empiezan el mercado (que es todos los días muy temprano) te despiertas. Pero la otra habitación, que no da a la plaza es mejor y tiene cama de matrimonio. Aún así si hay vecinos en las otras plantes se oye.

Eu pedi 1 berço para a minha bebé , e não me foi tido que estaria no 2 quarto em cima de 1 armário . Acabei por não usar porque como só fiquei 1 noite , não vi a tempo . Nós ficamos no 1andar e por baixo do apartamento fica 1 restaurante que tem o exaustor mesmo por baixo da zona da sala , então quando está ligado o chão vibra todo . Para finalizar o Sr foi super simpático a enviar-me a localização de 1 parque de estacionamento ali perto , mas eu viajava com 1 bebé e estava a chover imenso . Consegui 1 lugar mesmo em frente á entrada do apartamento , mas eu não sabia que faziam 1 mercado mesmo na praça em frente e que o carro não poderia estar lá estacionado … consequência fomos multados e as Sras da praça super antipatias . Expliquei que estávamos de passagem e não sabíamos que aquele mercado estaria ali … Seria importante avisar desse evento

O apartamento foi sugerido para 4 adultos e três crianças, no entanto não havia camas para os adultos todos nem crianças. Na sala apenas um sofá cama que só cabia um adulto e mal, tendo ficado duas crianças numa cama de solteiro e uma criança e um adulto também numa cama de solteiro.

The only thing we had a concern about was in the bathroom. There is no curtain on the big window and right outside is the neighbors deck. When we were there four young lads were enjoying their deck. We have seen in past reviews that this was a concern and obviously has not been addressed. It is a big privacy issue. This apartment would have got a much higher rating if it had addressed this concern

Mostly responsive host but issues never resolved partly because we could t compromise and booking only responded to my messages when he no longer was offering me to leave without cancellation fee. In fact it took 6 days for booking.com to respond to me
No air conditioning, can’t keep windows open because of flies, smelled like smoke, moldy and old. No place to really sit and be comfortable, loud all hours inside and outside, other guests taunting me, banging on my door at weird hours that scared me.

Market set up from 5am can be noisy, but ear plugs do the job. May not be comfortable for a big person as the kitchen and bathroom are very small.

El baño de la habitación (de la tercera planta) tiene una ventana muy grande sin cortina de ningún tipo, y da a una terraza donde están los vecinos haciendo barbacoa y demás, así que no tienes ninguna intimidad y ha sido muy incómodo ducharse en esas condiciones.

Very noisy early morning market setup. The shower and faucets missed the opportunity for updated modern functions such as thermostatic valves, overhead rain shower or rail options. Not great to regulate temperature or pressure. Uncomfortable living room seating not great to relax after a long day exploring. Sliding doors are not good quality, difficult to slide and fall off their tracks.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2025The location was fabulous. The apartment looked out onto a square where there was a fresh food market every day. It’s a very walkable place and the apartment was well positioned around shops and museums.
My main problem with the apartment was some lack of thought by the owners. There’s a bathroom and bedroom window that open into an airlock space in order to give some ventilation to the rooms however a light and possibly a fan had been installed into this airlock and came on when it got dark. There was no way of turning this off. This meant that you couldn’t have the bedroom window shutters open to get air as you had the light from the airlock shining into your bedroom. There was also some sort of security or smoke detector in the bedroom which blinked about every 60 seconds. This could’ve been placed in the passage which would’ve made sleeping a whole lot more pleasant. They also had cheap rugs in two of the rooms which were tripping hazards. In addition the double bed was very uncomfortable. We both had bad backs. The couch in the living room was a cheap sofa bed was also pretty uncomfortable to sit on. All in all it’s a great location and if these things don’t worry, you stay there!
