I love the location, facilities and professional staff especially the reception. The shower and bath gel and shampoo smells amazing

From friendly staff to beautiful clean rooms and unmatched views. The stay was very comfortable. Wish we could stay a bit longer. Restaurant was lovely, good breakfast and friendly staff. The shop assistant was also very helpful and friendly. The grounds are well maintained and we will definitely be back.

The pathway down to the beach needs some tlc. :)

Views and Breakfast was Superb

Wasnt the biggest fan of the one way mirror in the bathroom looking out onto the room, when lights on at night you can see through that from other side. Not a biggie tho. Overall experience is tops

I would have prefer a door to the toilet,and the bathroom.For privacy...and the door to the bathroom would have helped with the COLD weather!!!Should be very nice in the summer,openplan...

We were disappointed by the Bedroom. It was a small bedroom and there was nothing wrong with it but we did not think that the small bedroom reflects the overall grandeur of the Guest house.

Our experience from start to finish was extraordinary. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and made to feel right at home at this gorgeous property. We booked to stay in the bubble and it felt like such a treat - from the welcome bubbles and platter, outdoor wood heated jacuzzi ready, and everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. I will gladly stay again without hesitation. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Tolle Lage! Feines Frühstück!

Sehr ringhörig (man hörte Klospülung der Nachbarn, auch wenn sie redeten). Kein Safe in 2 Zimmern. Im 3. hatte es einen, den man rausnehmen konnte. Zimmer sehr klein und eng.

Rooms with ocean view: Outstanding views and comfortable accommodations. Staff: Perfectly friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

Minibar billing issue: After checkout we were charged for the minibar even though we did not use it. Post-checkout discussion: The matter was handled over WhatsApp after we left; staff likely saw used glasses and assumed we took a bottle of wine. Time and frustration: It took time and explanation to resolve; the charge was eventually removed but the experience was upsetting because we had already stated at checkout that we did not use the minibar.

The accommodation included breakfast but: You can have a juice or coffee. If you wanted a cappuccino you had to pay for it!! You could choose 1 breakfast item and if you wanted a yoghurt you had to Pay extra!! I expected a better breakfast for the accommodation price. We stayed at several on the way to Cape Town and back to PE and this was the most unreasonable deal for breakfast!!

Seeplaas is situated on a sand dune above the sea; the location is spectacular ... and the facilities, staff and service are equally so. The communication after the booking was friendly and informative, the welcome and check-in was personal and friendly, our room (3) was brilliant; well laid out, comfortable, spotlessly clean and with an array of amenities. And of course the view of the sting sun from our deck was stunning. In the morning, we had a refreshing beach walk (direct beach access) before enjoying the complimentary (and excellent) breakfast. We will certainly be back, thank you to all at Seeplaas!

Etwas abseits gelegen, der Strand mit Felsen versetzt, zum baden nicht geeignet. Frühstück nur mit einer Auswahl aus der Karte zu wenig, mehr gegen Aufpreis!

Breakfast was delicious, way bigger than I expected. Location is awesome, the Buble is very private.. felt like we where on our own island.. Didn't hear or see anyone except the dolphins playing in the waves in front of us..

Our breakfast waiter Wayne, was unhelpful, unfriendly and soured our last morning at the Seeplaas Restaurant.

Sehr gute Unterkunft hoch über dem Ozean mit Treppe zum Strand. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Tolles Frühstück auf der Terrasse, mit Glück Delphin- Beobachtung inclusive. Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft an der Garden Route. Für Eisenbahnliebhaber etwas besonderes, da das Seeplaas Halt ist einer historischen Bahn, die zwischen George und Mossel- Bay verkehrt.

The view is as amazing as the beach access! Size of the room is very generous. Restaurant quality is top class :)

-Main door doesn't close properly. You have to push it pretty hard and only then the door closes with a loud noise which might be disturbing for neighbours. -No ashtray on the balcony -opening times of the restaurant

Breakfast was wonderful with a big selection, Our room was lovely with an amazing view of the sea. I enjoyed the onsite art gallery and shops.

Stunning setting. Rooms are so beautiful decorated, so inviting! What incredible views! Would visit again and again. The gardens... just wow. The art gallery, the professional, friendly staff. A must do.

There’s nothing I didn’t like.

They personalized the breakfast to my dietary requirements. They did follow-ups to confirm if I was satisfied with the portion size, over WhatsApp. Excellent service.

I liked everything, however, recommendation would be to offer a guide from the hotel to walk to beach or offer a local map, of which are the best hiking trail, this could help the international guests, also the single guess which are staying over, as a value-added service.

Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war einfach ein Träumchen - man sollte aber das Meeresrauschen nicht unterschätzen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, man konnte sich aus der Karte etwas aussuchen. Jeder Kontakt mit dem Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse ( Zimmer mit Meerblick), Zimmer sind schön und modern eingerichtet.

Das Frühstück wird im Restaurant der Anlage serviert. Inbegriffen ist nur ein Gericht pro Person von der Speisekarte, ein Glas Saft oder Filterkaffee. Cappuccino oder Extras wie Bacon, Lachs usw. Nur gegen Aufpreis.

Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer direkt aufs Meer war traumhaft; Direkter Zugang zum Meer; Anlage gepflegt; Essen im Restaurant (Frühstück, sowie Abendessen) war sehr lecker

The fan in the room needs improvement

The beautiful view. It is a unique place.

Due to limited capacity, the waiting time for breakfast in the mornings was quite long. We stayed in Ocean View 1 and experienced a minor ant issue around the minibar/coffee station. Additionally, a fan in the room would be a great addition, as it does tend to get warm in the evenings when the doors are closed for safety reasons.

Nicely located overlooking the shore, waves & sea it‘s a great view from the attractive seaside rooms. The Mountain View rooms are not as recommendable in that regard. It‘s notable that the Seaplaas Guesthouse is a rather larger site with dining for lot‘s of guests. Therefore it‘s far less intimate than it appears on the website. Nevertheless it was nice for the overnight stay.

It was quite crowded and busy in the resort. For dining it‘s recommendable to book outside …
