Etwas „verlassen“ tagsüber, da Réception meist nicht besetzt durch Partnerschaft mit Nachbarshotel. Das ist kein grosser Nachteil, beeinflusst jedoch die Gastlichkeit.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, mitten im kleinen Ort und nahe vom See. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig. Es hatte genug Platz für eine grosszügige Sitzecke. Das Personal war unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Frühstück.

La chambre du 3 eme étage (dans les combles) est sans climatisation et extrêmement chaude en juillet. Les poutres apparentes sont dangereuses, et limitent la circulation dans la chambre.

Die Möbelierung des Hauses ist etwas schwer und dunkel, in sich aber passend.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026It’s a really nice old hotel in a great location in Cully. We drove and saw in advance it was difficult to park so parked at the train car park which was quite cheap and close by. The room was lovely, really good size, and clean. Staff very friendly.
Unfortunately we were visiting during the heatwave and although the hotel had left a couple of fans (thank you!), being in the loft just meant it was impossible for the room to be an ok temperature. It was too hot to stay in during the day and really quite horrible to sleep in. If you touched the low ceiling or closed windows they were boiling too. I’m aware the hotel couldn’t do anything more while we were there, but with heatwaves and temps on the rise it probably should consider aircon units or something to more seriously cool the rooms. We were there for two nights and unfortunately I couldn’t wait to get out of it. If we’d been there another time of year (or outside the heatwave) it would have been great.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Wir hatten sehr schöne und geräumige Zimmer. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und das Essen war sehr lecker. Service umwerfend! Das Frühstück im Nebengebäude war sehr gross und es hatte viel Auswahl.
Das Bett war leider sehr hart. Ansonsten war alles tip top.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Genfer See entfernt. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, individuell gestaltet mit einem schönen modernen Bad. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Bahnanbindung nach Lausanne erspart die teure Parkplatzsuche.

Absence de sens du service dans le personnel. De manière très visible, absence de motivation et de savoir-faire pour accueillir et mettre à l'aise le client. J'appelle pour demander une planche à repasser. On me dit qu'on s'en occupe. 45 min. Puis rien ne se passe. Je rappelle et on me dit "à bah, non, on n'en a pas'. Le soir, à table, on me laisse poireauter, puis arrive la fin de service. Tant pis pour moi, je devrais jeuner. Quelle négligence. Claquement de volet pendant la soirée

J'ai eu une personne très désagréable au téléphone lors de ma réservation et je suis aussi déçue par le manque de flexibilité concernant le petit-déjeuner inclus dans notre formule (hôtel + menu dégustation + bon pour apéritif). Étant enceinte, je ne pouvais pas profiter de l’apéritif prévu, et aucune alternative ne m'a été proposé. Un petit geste de remplacement aurait vraiment été apprécié.

The front-of-house/reception experience was unfortunately not very welcoming. When we called ahead regarding parking, despite having received a message offering guidance on nearby options, the response we received was rather curt and unhelpful, simply stating that there was no parking available. In the end, we were able to find a space right outside the hotel ourselves. Upon arrival, although the reception staff clearly saw us, they continued their internal conversations before attending to us. We were then asked to make an immediate decision regarding breakfast, which felt somewhat abrupt rather than hospitable. Overall, the interaction lacked the warmth and attentiveness one would expect from front-of-house staff.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Ein wirklich sehr grosses Zimmer. Badezimmer war abgetrennt durch einen Gang und die Toilette auch noch seperat - wirklich sehr grosszügig. Das Check-in verlief problemlos. Obwohl ich etwas früher von der Wanderung mein Tagesziel erreichte, war das Zimmer bereits bezugsbereit. Das Nachtessen habe ich genossen - kleine Karte aber gut zubereitet.

Уважаемые хозяева отеля, вы обязаны прекратить это средневековое клубное массовое курение в отеле !!! В один день , вернувшись в отель я задохнулась от дыма , глаза вытекали от вони сигарет , весь отель и мой номер вонял . Сотрудник на мою жалобу пытался спасти ситуацию и предложил номер этажом выше, это немного спасло ситуацию, но эту ночь я спала в пепельнице. Я не ожидала, что существует где-то эта дикая традиция. Уже много лет во всем мире никто не курит в помещениях.

Die Suite war insgesamt etwas gar gross (ist aber kein Problem)... der Spalt im Bett (zwei Matratzen) war nicht optimal... beim Frühstück hatte die Kaffeemaschine ein Problem, aber dies kann passieren...

Le petit déjeuner beaucoup trop cher par rapport au choix proposé. Aucun légume, 2 fromages, 1 charcuterie. Côté sucré c'était ok. Fr. 20.-- par personne c'est vraiment trop cher. Fr. 15.-- aurait été la limite correcte. Le choix était-il réduit en raison du peu d'occupation de l'établissement ?

Belle baisse avec un restaurant que nous n'avons pas pu tester malheureusement mais dont les locaux sont fort friands. Place de parking public à proximité. Nous y reviendrons.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025Spacious room and bathroom. Well equipped with a kettle, water, towels, and lotions. We did not have breakfast or dinner at the hotel. The hotel is in a historic building, so a lot of vintage charm. The room is also quiet. Location is perfect (not far from the train station) and close to the lake. There are also enough public parking spaces next to the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the starting point of the Lavaux wine tour and the Rix/Epresse villages for restaurants.
Consider it is a 3-star hotel, we are happy with what we got.

Room was spacious and beautifully done, bathroom was huge and practical with big white fluffy towels and body lotion (not found in Switzerland that often, so I was so happy to have it here) , and housekeeping was impeccable. Very pleasant. She even helped me with my roller bag on the steps early in the morning on our way to the airport. I really appreciated that small and caring gesture. The Auberge itself is handsome with great furnishings. The property felt warm and cozy, and my husband appreciated all its features as much as I. It had an elevator, which is always helpful with luggage. Staff was helpful. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because it was closed the first night of our stay, and we had already blown our food budget that first night at Cafe de la Post.
Everything was perfect….except parking is a minor hassle. We worked with that successfully though.
