Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The property layout, ambiance and decor were excellent. The room was spacious and contained all the amenities you could expect. The grounds added to the sense of top quality.
Breakfast was satifactory, I liked the option of having Gluten Free for my daughter.
There were a lot of flies around that station, and I would have preferred a few more fruit options like Bananas. The AC in our room was leaking, and the master suite had a lingering scent from arrival to departure although housekeeping visited on one occasion. Also, the pull-out bed was very uncomfortable for our kids.
The property was incredible.
Breakfast was not included and was very expensive
The hotel is a bit far from most things to do in Bridgetown and Holetown, so I would suggestion renting a car instead of using the taxi services. The staff are friendly and always ready with a greeting and welcome. Although, the housekeeping was a bit erratic. Some days would be great and others you may only have one towel and no hand towels. Some of the restrictions staff at 1887 was less than friendly and seemed annoyed they were at work. While I appreciate a slower island pace, the waitress only came by once during happy hour. I had to go get drinks myself. It’s a relaxed setting and the ocean views are wonderful. The pools are nice and warm. We only went in the evening so they were never full. Although, the main pools were not 4 feet deep like they said. Maybe 3 feet at most. We aware that there are additional charges upon arrival. They charged an extra $75 (USD) per day as a hold. This was ultimately nice to be able to just charge the room, but we were t prepared before hand. The beach may or may not be usable based on the sargassum washing in. There is a shuttle to the fish fry in Oistens, but it fills up and has an extra charge. Over all a nice place, but would probably stay closer to Bridgetown next time.
The accommodations were beautiful, clean and comfortable with all kinds of comforts and amenities but it is the team who works at the Crane that makes all the difference. From the bellman Trevor, to the housekeeper Robena, to Shaunté the concierge, and especially to Mrs. Donna, the lobby ambassador. They were all so kind, hospitable and gracious. I am so thankful to all of them for contributing to a peaceful, relaxing getaway.
It was an EXCELLENT experience. My son and I visited from Grenada and appreciated the warm welcome and excellent customer service from the following staff: Service- Front Desk, Service- Service Hub, Errol - Bellman, LaToya - Room Attendant, Tanya at Azure and Neil - Security. Thank you guys. Everyone on the entire were pleasant and greeted us. We enjoyed the Kids' pools and all the amenities available for our stay. Thank you all. We would definitely return :)
Facilities in apartment, village feel, scenery in grounds.
Unclean pool in room, sofa bed was uncomfortable, food options were limited and disappointing.
I submitted a detailed review under The Crane because we spent one half of the trip through HGV Club points and the other half as a "stayover" booking via Hilton. The Crane is great but we had a mixed experience due to 2 major issues with our rooms (1 broken sofabed and 2nd room, no AC). Summer may not be the best time to visit, as the hotel is preparing for the high season. Lots of repairs and renovations. But don't worry about the location being semi- remote. Call (driver) Oneil Cayol +1 (246) 248-7905 for punctual, dependable transportation and flexible day trips away from the resort.
Beautiful resort, in well kept grounds, pools looked after well.
Was disappointed with Zen
The Crane is a beautiful resort with many things to love. The grounds are stunning, the architecture is unique, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, and the majority of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. The pools are lovely, the restaurants offer good food, and the resort has a peaceful atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax. That said, there are a few things I think future guests should know before booking. The biggest issue during our stay was the beach. Unfortunately, it was completely covered in seaweed, making it unusable for swimming. I understand that sargassum is a natural issue affecting many Caribbean islands and is beyond the hotel's control. However, if you're choosing The Crane because you're expecting the famous turquoise water and a swimmable beach, it's important to know that this can happen. As you can see from my photo, the amount of seaweed made it impossible to enjoy the beach during our stay. The resort has an arrangement with Harbour Lights at Carlisle Bay, which is a fantastic alternative with calm, crystal-clear water. However, the complimentary shuttle doesn't operate every day, and when it does, it only runs between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. That makes it an unreliable option if the resort beach isn't usable. Yes, you can always pay for a taxi, but after paying resort prices, I didn't expect to have to spend additional money just to enjoy another beach. Breakfast was another area that could be improved. The food was good and the quality was consistently nice, but the selection was almost exactly the same every morning. For guests staying several days, a little more variety would make a big difference. One other disappointment was the attitude of some of the staff in the activities office. While almost everyone else we encountered throughout the resort was warm and helpful, a few employees in that department came across as unfriendly and uninterested in assisting guests. It stood out because the service elsewhere was generally excellent. This was my fifth visit to Barbados, so I know firsthand that the island has some of the most beautiful beaches and turquoise water in the Caribbean. My intention isn't to criticize the resort unfairly but to provide an honest and balanced review to help future travellers make an informed decision. Overall, The Crane is a beautiful resort with spacious accommodations, gorgeous grounds, excellent facilities, and many positive qualities. If the beach conditions are good, I'm sure it would be an even more memorable experience. However, if having a guaranteed swimmable beach is your top priority, I recommend checking the current beach conditions before booking and asking about the shuttle schedule to Carlisle Bay so you know exactly what to expect.
We had an amazing vacation at The Crane. The rooms and facilities were clean. The restaurants were delicious. The employees were always friendly and helpful.
My elevator didnt work
Ambience was very nice , service my Trenell was perfect and crystal at front desk was most pleasant 👌
I really enjoyed my trip and the reason I enjoyed my birthday was because of one staff member by the name of Anthony. Upon arrival he been assisting my group with our luggage. He helped us navigate the property also suggesting what foods to eat on the property. Anthony was also so informative he gave us great ideas about different beaches, excursions, clubs and restaurants. Which was so helpful. And because of Anthony we had an amazing time. Anthony was very respectful and just and all around gentleman.
The Crane Resort is wonderful and absolutely terrible both. This may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. Our family loved many things about this property, but we also hated some basic must haves. First, the location can be considered a good or bad thing. The property is isolated and the activity and restaurant selection is limited. We rented a car which helped us get around. The resort is on the windy side of Barbados and the waves can be large. The views, beach, pools, grounds, security, on-site restaurants, and maid staff were all big positives. There are towel stations throughout the property, visitors will appreciate it. What was terrible is the old run down rooms. Our first rooms air conditioning was broken and they knew it. The resort sent us an email on our first morning stating the air conditioner may not be working, but they were working on it. We had three sleepless nights in a 82 degree room with 100% humidity. We called the front desk for maintenance multiple times, had technicians come to the room, without a fix. The front desk was dismissive of our issue. We got ahold of the front office manager, Veronica, and she made arrangements for us to move to another suite. That suite did have AC, but the room was outdated and worn out. One of the two TV's did not work. The venetian blinds would not all close. The siding doors were on a rotten track which made it nearly impossible to operate. We also had a small brown roach in our bed. Some of the staff were fantastic. All of our maids were very friendly and did a fine job cleaning our room. We enjoyed the restaurants and wait staff. Although, we wish the bar and restaurants stayed open past 9pm. Other resort staff demonstrated incompetence and had poor people skills. The front desk staff struggled to answer simple questions about the resort. We asked what time the pool closed and the two clerks didn't know. I asked what time the restaurants closed, and received the wrong info. The worst staffer we encountered was the village bar bartender. He did not want to be bothered with our orders and made us feel unwelcome. In fairness, for all our troubles we did receive a $150 resort credit from one of the resort managers. The only way I would return to this resort is if the rooms were remodeled.
Jaleesa and all the staff were so pleasant and kind, I needed a last minute pedicure and she did a great job! Highly recommended ❤️
I spent one week at the crane upon arrival very welcoming , lovely gardens, after checking in and giving my debit card details for deposit, we were taken to our suite which was stunning with fantastic sea views, we had a breakfast package which was a fairly typical buffet, the views from the restraints were across the beach again stunning, staff were friendly and welcoming. However on the fifth evening I had a look at my banking app to find that the crane had taken 3 unauthorized payments of over £240 pounds I decided that I would enquirer about this on the next morning, before I spoke to the receptionist I checked my account again to find a fourth unauthorized payment had been taken from my bank ,when I spoke to the receptionist she told me that she would contact the relevant department but this would take at least two hours we then continued on our plans for the day, upon returning to the resort I spoke to the receptionist again and was informed that the department were not working that day but would be in tomorrow (Sunday) another member of staff then told me they wouldn’t be in and asked if I wanted to speak to the duty manager which I did , the duty manager, chaplain called dean came and spoke to me and told me there had been a glitch in the system and that the money would be returned as soon as I checked out the next day , also that he would be there if there was any issues. The next I checked my account again to find that another unauthised payment had been taken this time for £450 . When I checked out I asked the receptionist if there was any money had been returned she the informed me that it would be at least 7 days before I got it back, this I did not find acceptable and asked to speak to dean the receptionist told me that he wasn’t there (why did he tell me he would be), I then spoke to 2 other managers one male and one female who told me that it was British airways who requested the money , I paid British airways in full before leaving the uk also using not only a different card but through a different bank, they also told me that the crane didn’t have my money it was pending and that I would get it back in 7 days I didn’t find this acceptable either the ba rubbish or the fact that the crane had taken unauthorized payments and wouldn’t return it the male then starting to speak to in a very condescending manner saying that I didn’t understand how banking worked I then told him not to speak to me in that manner and that as far as I was concerned this was theft , they then went off to discuss this, the woman returned herself and was very apologetic but did nothing to return my money , I was leaving Barbados in a few hours and didn’t know what was happening to my nearly £1500 ,the money did start to get back 7 days after each withdrawal , this issue absolutely ruined the last few days of a very expensive holiday. The reason I waited a few weeks to review was to wait for some kind of explanation why the crane took so much money from my account and perhaps some kind of formal apology but have had nothing from the resort or Hilton resorts but have had nothing from them. The things I found most concerning that the management seemed to think that this theft was ok because the money was pending and that I would get it back and that between them they couldn’t get their story to match each other. Would I go back definetly not
Tranquil, soothing & relaxing atmosphere. Overall, great massage.
My spa visit was relaxing and enjoyable. Jalissa was thoroughly professional and very courteous. She had the magic touch in terms of the pressure applied, working out all my knots and kinks. I recommend this Carribean Rhythms treatment highly.
Christopher was really good i enjoy my massage
Chris was absolutely amazing!
I had such a wonderful experience at Serenity Spa! From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel so welcome and treated me with such kindness. I had an incredible massage with Jalisa (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly!), and she was absolutely fantastic—one of the best massages I’ve ever had. To top it all off, the staff surprised me with a birthday drink after my treatment, which was such a thoughtful touch and made my day feel even more special. Thank you to everyone at Serenity Spa for making my birthday so relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend!
Very good massage! Very relaxing and great atmosphere! The staff is very nice and accommodating!!
My partner and I had a couples massage, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxing, welcoming, and professional. The therapists were attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire experience.
This was by far the worst experience for me since I’ve been in Barbados. When I went to the lighthouse restaurant, we waited over 2 hours for our food and our waitress barely checked in on us. We had run out of water, soft drinks, and cocktails and not once did she acknowledge. We had to get her attention to assist us. I am still unsure as to what the issue was. Then in my room, all I wanted was to take a hot shower and go to bed! First issue, I had no washcloths and when I called for some it took over 30 mins so I went to the front desk. Even after going to the front desk, it was another 20 mins before some brought me towels. Finally got the towels, go to get in the shower and the water is lukewarm! That was the icing on the cake for me. I’m over it and I won’t stay here again.
My daughter and I had a swedish massage with Trenell and Jalessa. They found knots we didn't realize I had. It was very relaxing. They did a great job.
I went to have a massage at the spa. The customer service was very good...polite, professional. My massage was done by Trenell. It was a superb treatment. Again she was professional and executed the massage quite well. Felt very relaxed. I also liked that there was no unnecessary chatting, which I have experienced other places.
Lovely gardens to walk around
In my room was a lovely King size bed ,but at 5ft 3ins ,needed a step ladder to get into it .I had to use chair each night to climb up. Also breakfast was ithink very pricey
Very spacious, have to bathrooms, kitchen essentials, like stove and microwave and fridge..And your own outdoor pools.Just lovely
Dale was awesome. Gave us a good tour & had great drinks!
The Crane staff all around made us feel welcome & our stay was worry free and extremely wonderful! Joan in the Crane lobby was both professional, friendly and helpful. We will be back! Sincerely, Kevin and Frances Ruff
A visit to the spa and breakfast at Azure restaurant. It was a great experience. Will definitely return
Excellent, everything was as I expected
Nothing
I loved staying at the crane for my honeymoon 😍 It has been a place that I hold dear to my heart.
Only thing that I don't like is leaving the crane.😔
The Crane is a fabulous resort with Ocean views, gorgeous pools and plenty of amenities. The property is lush with flowers and trees and quite a relaxing environment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Donna and Corey in reception/transportation were fabulous and made us feel like family. We will definitely go back.
We had the pleasure of having Christopher and Jalessa as our massage therapist. They where absolutely fabulous.
Everything
The cost of breakfast
After got settled showered etc no food / restaurant available after 10pm smh ridiculous Went back to my room ordered bottles of water after an hour called to check the front desk let me know they ran out and didn't say anything to me .. Try to put on the TV since nothing else to do tv would not turn on called to ask for help its 11:30 pm they say can't do anything bout this the technician is gone for the day nobody even offered to attempt to come to my room to try and see what's the issue the worst experience ever! Can't wait to leave!
I stayed at The Crane Resort (part of Hilton) and the setting is truly beautiful. The resort is very well located, with breathtaking views over the Atlantic, and the beach right next to it is wonderful. The property itself is charming, with lush vegetation and even monkeys around, which adds a unique touch. Check-in was smooth and the welcome drink was a great start. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was also very good. What I enjoyed less were the restaurants — I found the food quite average and overpriced for the quality. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery, though dining could be improved
A great place to have fun time!
Service at 1887 by Shakeny was great
I was nervous about solo as a woman in another country but this has been 1 of the most relaxing vacations ever! The atmosphere here at The Crane is very safe, welcoming, clean and fun. You’re treated like their family from day 1. Drinks from Dale, Josh and Roman have been delightful and service from Shakenya and Anthony all 5 stars. I could never name them all but it’s as if I had 20 butlers. The food at the restaurants in the resort is first class. I hate to leave tomorrow but could never leave without giving these guys an excellent review.
Great staff especially Dale and Kenyesha
First time to Barbados. Ate at Bar 1887 and had wonderful service by server Shakenya..food and drinks.amazing.
Good facilities, great staff and surroundings
Nothing
Dining at the Carriage House for lunch was great. The lunch menu selection was limited very well presented and prepared. I would the rate the food a 5 of 5. However the service from Shonette and Talisha is what kept us coming back. These two ladies made our experience the greatest. Their beaming smile, friendly and professional attitude made our lunch experience exceptional. If a 10 was on the scale they were a 12. They were ready to assist in helping us navigate the Crane resort. They deserve a raise. Management needs to everything in their power to ensure these wonderful talented ladies stay are rewarded.
Awesome stay but most of all great staff so friendly and helpful
We were so excited to stay at The Crane based on pictures. The reality fell a little short. The resort just feels a little tired. There are multiple restaurants on property which is wonderful but the food was just average. We only had warm water in our room…never hot…regardless of the time of day. A few staff members were really friendly and helpful—Errol and Joan. The girls at the concierge desk were less the helpful without even a smile. Many other staff had a smile and a hello most of the time. Overall the experience was a mixed bag. Maybe our expectation was just too high.
My Spa service done by Christopher left me feeling calm, pampered and refreshed. The cocktail that was included in my package hit the spot and the friendliness of both Christopher and Christal added the right touch to the whole experience. Thank you so much.
Excellent customer service!
Came to Hilton Crane Resort in Barbados for a week. The check in was very easy.We walked around to explore the resort. It’s wide speed wirh gardens, the multiple buildings were only 3 stories high( much better than 20-25 stories high risers ). There are multiple pools with comfortable chairs spread out, 5 restaurants to choose from , excellent bars, lovely view of ocean wth very enjoyable walk on the beach. All the staff were very friendly and courteous. There are multiple tours to select or take a private tours . We specifically want to name a staff , JOAN ,who arranges taxi rides for tours ,very knowledgeable , courteous, friendly and reliable. She helped us a lot , an excellent staff . It was an enjoyable week at Hilton Crane Resort in Barbados. Dr Faruk Koreishi
Lovely resort we spent a lot of time there even though we were staying 10 mins away.
The fold out bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs of the mattress. Staff were very helpful to rectify this with a mattress topper but ultimately it should be replaced.
We stayed at The Crane hotel as a family group in several rooms for my mum’s 80th birthday. I had a spacious, comfortable room with a rooftop pool, great kitchen facilities, sofas, a balcony with loungers and a view of tropical plants and sunset. It was a memorable week and the hotel was a beautiful place to stay. What really makes it special is the incredible team working across the hotel. So many kind, professional, friendly people - in particular Crystal (duty manager) and Dave on reception, Joan at the concierge desk, Ondre and Damien hosting activities (dominoes, morning walks, nature walks and rum tasting) and Jared at the swimming pool. I booked a back massage at the Serenity Spa as a treat for my mum’s birthday. Trenell (the therapist) was absolutely lovely, kind and sensitive and my mum loved the experience and said it was one of the best massages she had ever had. My mum left happy and relaxed, smelling of beautiful scented oils and holding a single red rose the spa gave her. The whole team at the spa were calm, kind and full of smiles. Thank you for making it a special memory.
We honestly LOVED the Crane. It was exactly what we were looking for. Many options of different restaurants (that are all very good), with beautiful views that is quiet with the perfect Barbadian charm. Now, if you want all inclusive and a bunch of activities and to be in the hustle and bustle, with a modern look, the Crane isn’t for you. There isn’t a ton going on, and it’s far from other excursions. We wanted quiet, and did just a few off the property excursions. But if you want to do a lot around Barbados, the Crane is very inconvenient for that. The rooms were gorgeous, and so charming with dark wood and white tiles. The pools in the room were not the cleanest, but good thing there’s five other pools to choose from. We loved pretty much everything we ate there (which I’d choose any day than an all inclusive that makes me sick). The beach is beautiful but not the best swimming beach. We enjoyed it to just sit our butts in the sand. The service is slow (but that’s Barbados), and they do just enough but don’t go that extra mile. However, the beauty, the restaurant versatility, their charm, along with the absolutely stunning beach and cliff sights makes the Crane what it is. While being tucked away and in a quiet location, it was the perfect honeymoon resort for us.
We recently stayed at The Crane in St. Philip, and the experience was truly memorable. From check-in to check-out, D’Angelo made our stay extra special. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. His positive attitude set the tone for our entire visit. Erica was also amazing — she was very accommodating, even with a last-minute request, and handled everything with friendliness and efficiency. A special mention to Gloria, the supervisor, who made us feel completely at home. Her warm and friendly nature stood out and made our experience even more enjoyable. The service we received was exceptional, and it’s clear the staff genuinely care about their guests. I would absolutely recommend The Crane and look forward to returning in the future! Donn & Shakera
Good offering, fantastic setting
Omelets station was quite slow. Hot water did not come on!
My birthday trip at The Crane was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcomed, and the check-in experience set the tone for the entire stay. Diangelo specifically at the front desk went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free, and his warmth and genuine care really stood out. Since it was our first time in Barbados, he took the time to share so much helpful information about the island and The Crane, which made us feel comfortable and excited from the very beginning. Celebrating my birthday there with my friends was such a special experience, and I'm leaving with amazing memories that l'll always cherish. I would absolutely return without hesitation.

Service not great. No bottles of water or coffee in the room.
This is the 3rd time staying in this hotel, and won't be the last. Everything you need is here, restaurants, pools, spa, gym, shops, duty free, and right on the beach! They were a little short staffed this trip, sadly typical for hospitality, but everyone worked hard to ensure the guests were looked after. Customer service at it's best :)
We just returned from a wonderful week at The Crane and about the only thing I would do differently next time is stay longer! What a great stay. The staff - every last one of them - were so helpful and friendly. They also made sure that you knew of the other events and opportunities on the resort. "Will you be at the beach barbecue tomorrow? You're going to Oistens Friday night, right?" and this was from folks all over and not done in any way that felt like there was pressure for a "sale". Service and food/beverage were great all around, despite having a new system that seemed to slow things down at first around the pool area. The historic grounds are absolutely amazing, and there was a Monday night one-hour reception for HGVC owners on the historic lawn, and it was perfect! I probably wouldn't attend the beach barbecue again - or if I did, I'd book it sooner so that I had an earlier reservation. By the time we arrived for our 7:30 reservation, they were out of many things (like dressing for salads and the sauce for the delicious coconut bread pudding. I am one who rarely gets my moneys worth at a buffet, honestly, but I definitely didn't at that - but we still had a great time. The atmopshere, the entertainment, and the people made it great all the same. We spent a good bit of time around the pool and while there are a few minor maintenance issues here (some tiles could be replaced, a few umbrella stands could use umbrellas and the like) we didn't have any real complaints. Our room was a 1BR "residence by the sea" in Building 5 and it was just great. We occasionally had some slow draining in one sink in the main bathroom that was no big deal (but noticeable) but after housekeeping came one of the days that I think it was still draining, it was fixed the next day without any mention from us. While thinking of housekeeping- it was absolutely fabulous. I was stunned at how thorough it was (even washing dishes we'd set in the dishwasher once waiting until we had a few more to add before running it), and keeping us very well stocked with coffee and the like. The kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking (we had every breakfast in the kitchen and many lunches). The washer and dryer in the suite were great as well - so nice to be able to refresh laundry during downtime in the suite. The store on the property is about as reasonably priced as the local supermarket and certainly a better deal than the cost of getting their and back on top of prices and the selection was "good enough" for a week. We did make it into the bigger store because we did have a rental car, but I probably won't rent a car when we return. We loved the decor and the ambiance that really steps you back in time. Every evening, there was entertainment in the main square area, just outside of Bar 1887, which was a great place to spend a little time and make new friends. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather, too. All in all, this was a relaxing and delightful vacation on beautiful, historic grounds in a warm, very welcoming country.
Good
Nothing
I loved my stay here I was greeted with a warm friendly welcome that lasted my entire stay. I truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere and the hotel staff but one staff member that stood out to me most was Corey. He was very helpful and had a delightful personality. He recommended great places to visit and eat while recommending his personal favorites on hotel site. 10/10 COREY !!!!!
A lovely resort, a bit secluded so book if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. The beach waves were a little rough, but the views are breathtaking. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I’d return here.
The property was very nice Would have been excellent if we had running water. The water was a hit and miss. Best to bathe as soon as it is turned back on or no bath for you that day. Housekeeping wasnt pleasant ask for towels or trash bags good luck. We received gym towels or cleaning rags to bathe with. Bring wipes with you for cleanliness. Scenery was beautiful!!!
There IS NO RUNNING WATER HOT OR COLD at the CRANE today ! This is a third world resort calling itself “ luxury”! It is expensive and the service is terrible.
Nothing we enjoyed ourselves
Great stay. Great room. Great staff. Great food. No complaints at all. Will definitely be back. Can’t wait to return.
My stay was great, good food lovely staff and amenities, however the private pool we book in our suit was dirty and had a mud like coating to the bottom of the pool. I made three request to have it cleaned but no staff came. Another request was a honeymoon package we booked and didnt receive it. After several attempts to query with front desk we gave up all attempts of asking.
Exceptional
The Crane is an amazing property! The grounds are lush with trees, plants, and flowers. The accommodations are stunning, I felt like I was in my own home rather than a hotel. The employees are warm, friendly and polite- much appreciated. Crane beach itself is gorgeous and the swimming pools are top notch. Food and drinks are excellent. Please do not hesitate to book a trip here, it’s a stunner of a place on many different levels! I stayed at the end of September and it was not busy which for me added to the peace and relaxation of being there. They say “ you’ll know” when you stay there, it’s true - you will. 100% recommend! Thank you for an awesome, beautiful, comfortable, relaxing stay. See you again!!
Staff were wonderful. Property was well maintained.
Clean room, beautiful views. A tropical oasis.
Amazing
Property not set up for FIT stay - Everyone busy with Timeshare guests - never received wakeup call - Raining when I needed cart to get to reception at 7.30am - no one available - thank goodness stopped when I hurried to reception building
good
I have to say I’m beyond impressed. We stayed here because we flew in the night before because we were staying at sandals. Beyond affordable, room was clean, staff was welcoming. I felt like I was at a resort resort. Not just a “hotel”. It’s just me and my wife, but we said we would 100% book this resort for when we come back with our kids. I felt the need to give great feedback: Ty !
The property is well maintained. Parrs are under renovations but it did noy cause an inconvenience. Generally a good stay.
Great a staff, lovely resort, breakfast buffet really pricey. Donna was great helping whenever I needed, such a character. My studio was fantastic, shame about spotty WiFi and TV signal, but really lovely grounds. Everything was in one place. I participated in the free activities loved the offsite walks and water aerobics with Ondree.
PROS: The room was great with a rooftop pool. Old world charm prevails even in the more modern aesthetic suites. The service was highlighted by Ms. Donna at the front who is great at her job, asking the right questions to direct various service inquiries and laughing with me at my attempt to have cou cou delivered to the resort. The room attendant Nadia not only did a great job cleaning our room, she provided valuable and much needed 'island tips and advice' when asked. Her service and friendliness went above and beyond what was required of her, she should be commended. CONS: The elevator in the 3000 building was not working and no help moving our luggage up and down to the top floor, this was not good. AC was dripping on desk where work laptop was - insurance claim was averted but could have been prevented entirely. Disappointing beach for that level of property which was otherwise well maintained. Food options and food pricing need to be modified for current traveler market and better uptake of daily onsite food offerings relevant to proximity to main town or other food alternatives since infrastructure provides equipped kitchens. OVERALL: We were there to attend a wedding which beautiful and enhanced by seaside ambiance and natural grounds beauty
The resort felt removed from everything else that was happening outside its walls. A proper getaway.
SHANE THE bellman did an excellent job in sharing the history of the Cranes. As well as touring us on the property it was great. Thank you Shane
