Eine Wohlfühloase mit tollen Gastgebern. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande von Gennadi, der kleine Ort ist in 5 Minuten zu erreichen wie auch die hervoragende Unterkunft für das frische Brot am Morgen. Es war sehr ruhig, die Wohnung sehr geräumig und es wurde auf Fragen oder Bitten sofort reagiert. Der Pool lädt zum Schwimmen am Morgen und Abend ein. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war wirklich gut. Wir haben die Terrasse im Schatten sehr genossen.

Un gioiello, si trova in posizione decentrata e silenziosissima rispetto al piccolo centro di Gennadi da cui dista circa 200 metri. C'é un ampio terrazzo con tavolo e sedie con impagabile vista mare, l'open space con sala e cucina ha delle vetrate a parete che offrono sempre la vista del mare blu e del sole che ci si riflette. Sono presenti piscina e un piccolo bar che è aperto solo di sera oltre che molto verde. Le camere di sotto non godono della stessa vista mare di quelle superiori ma sono all'ombra e danno la sensazione di fresco. Noi eravamo sopra e devo dire che non abbiamo sofferto il caldo visto che il pomeriggio dopo le 15:00 non batte più il sole. L'appartamento oltre al living offre 2 stanze (tutte con aria condizionata) e un grande bagno con asciugamani (anche x la piscina), sapone, shampoo, crema dopo sole, Phon ecc. La cucina é fornita di tutto e c'è il wifi...ma questo si trova sui siti di prenotazione. Quello che non trovi é la disponibilità di Tsampika e del marito nel cercare di soddisfare ogni tua richiesta e, come dicevo, la pace e la vista mare eccezionale. Gennadi é piccola ed ha una stretta, corta e pittoresca via con ristoranti e bar. In piazzetta un panettiere fornitissimo (tanti dolci tipici, pane, ottimi panini imbottiti), un piccolo supermercato e il fruttivendolo, il tutto in pochi metri e a misura d'uomo. A circa 300 metri in basso c'é la lunghissima spiaggia di Gennadi in ciotoli con un mare pulito e trasparente...a settembre acqua calda. E' tranquillissimo ma se vuoi puoi stare a 200 metri o anche di più da altra gente. Ci sono alcuni ombrelloni e lettini a noleggio legati alle 3 taverne sul mare dove é possibile mangiare ottimo pesce nelle ore più calde. Il Southern Dreams a Gennadi si trova a sud quindi in posizione ottimale x visitare le piú belle spiagge dell'isola (Gennadi stessa, Navarone Bay, Red sand beach, Agathi. Prasonisi e il lungo tratto tra Vlicha e Carachi Beach).

Very Nice apartment, very well equipped and spacious. The staff was amazing , super available and kind for everything. They even worried to bring us the right kind of coffee for our machine. A very big plus was also the fact that they provided a set of towels for the pool. 10/10 totally recommend would come back again.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay! The host is warm and professional, like all the staff. The apartament was spacious, comfortable and well equipped! The terrace has a beautiful sea view ( thanks for the upgrade 😍) , the swimming pool very clean as well and relaxing. We disconnected completely here and lived our summer dream! Gennadi also is a small fishermen village where you can find homemade Greek products, authentic Greek tavernas and beautiful beaches around …

Superbe appartement, très bien équipé, au calme et à 5min à pied des commerces, à 10min à pied de la plage. Piscine géniale et propriétaire aux petits soins. Nous avons eu un souci avec le lave-linge, réglé dans l'après-midi. Grande terrasse avec table et chaises + bains de soleil pour profiter. Nous avons adoré !

Lovely pool and outdoor terrace space. The local town has excellent supermarket, bakery and fruit shop. Restaurants were good. The host was very responsive and resolved any issue we had. Having a dishwasher was a bonus.

Bagno super confortevole con doccia grande, doppio lavandino. ​I servizi: Cucina super attrezzata (lavastoviglie, forno, microonde e frigo capiente) e un soggiorno accogliente. Lavatrice presente in bagno. ​L'esterno: Un terrazzo meraviglioso con vista mare incantevole. Fantastica anche la piscina con palme e lettini, accompagnata da un piccolo bar a bordo piscina aperto la sera. ​L'accoglienza: L'ospitalità fa la differenza! Un grazie di cuore a Tsampika e Kostas, proprietari eccezionali che ci hanno accolto col sorriso e ci hanno dato tutte le informazioni utili per trascorrere uno splendido soggiorno a Rodi. ​Consigliatissimo!

La doccia che è walk-in e quindi si bagna sempre un po' il pavimento anche facendo attenzione. I cuscini del letto un po' scomodi per noi (ovviamente è soggettivo) ma il materasso è comunque comodo.

Vaizdas iš erdvios terasos gražus, matosi jūra. Labai geroje lokacijoje, netoli miestelio centras, vos kelios minutės pėstute. Tikrai verta rinktis geram poilsiui.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Southern Dreams Apartments in Gennadi, Rhodes, and would happily return in a heartbeat! From the moment we arrived, Tsampika and Kostas made us feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. Throughout our stay they checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Apartment cleaning is offered as standard, which many guests will appreciate, but as we prefer more privacy during our stay, we simply opted for fresh towels instead. The lovely cleaning lady was always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. One of the highlights was the fantastic swimming pool. It was beautifully maintained and, on several occasions, we had it completely to ourselves, making for wonderfully peaceful and relaxing pool days. The quiet location really adds to the sense of tranquility. In the evenings, the on-site bar opened and served delicious drinks, making it the perfect way to unwind after a day in the sun. The location is ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful Greek getaway. Gennadi village is just a short 5-minute walk away and has everything you need, including a bakery, supermarket, fruit and vegetable shop, and several lovely restaurants. We also enjoyed seeing local wildlife around the area, including deer and lizards. Onsite parking is available so if you have a hire car travelling to and from the apartments is nice and easy. Gennadi Beach is only around a 15–20 minute walk away or a 5-minute drive. There are several seafood restaurants down on the coast and It’s wonderfully quiet and peaceful, although the beach is quite rocky, so we would recommend bringing suitable beach shoes. Overall, Southern Dreams Apartments exceeded our expectations.

Es war wieder alles wunderbar erholsam 😍 Für uns perfekt die Ruhe und der nahegelegene kleine Ort. Der Pool und das schöne Appartement mit Balkon und Aussicht auf das Meer.

Gepflegte Anlage mit netten Vermietern, die unseren Urlaub zu einem erholsamen Urlaub haben werden lassen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

It’s really hard to sum up our experience in just a few lines. Right from the start, we felt as though we were staying with friends. Tsampika and her husband are wonderful hosts, always helpful and friendly. The accommodation is very comfortable and equipped with all the necessary amenities: from the kitchen, complete with all the appliances, to the washing machine. The location is excellent, close to the village of Gennadi and the nearby beach. You can also make use of the swimming pool and enjoy a cocktail in the evening. Thank you so much, guys – Rhodes is stunning, but you were the real highlight.

Einfach alles. Die Lage ist ein Traum. 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt, ein tolles kleines Städtchen wo auch Einheimische wohnen mit tollen Restaurants und Flair. Nicht so touristisch. Strand ebenfalls 10 min zu Fuß in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft selbst total schön gemacht, schöne Pflanzen, tolle Appartements, eigene Terrasse, eigene Poolbar & die Inhaber sind so bemüht & freundlich. Sie haben uns sogar von Strand abgeholt :0 ♡ nur Liebe an die 2 ♡

Alles war wunderbar, wir haben dort als Paar unsere Flitterwochen verbracht. Gegen Mitte Juni wurde es natürlich verständlicherweise voller mit Familien. 14 Appartements, viele Kinder, natürlich wurde es dann im Gemeinschaftspool etwas voll und wild, aber dafür hat man sonst ja seine eigenen privaten Liegen ;)

Posizione molto comoda, a due passi dai servizi principali. Vista meravigliosa, casa ampia e funzionale

Чистые комфортные апартаменты . Бассейн теплый и чистый . Расположены чуть в стороне от центра деревушки , но это не напрягает . Соседей не слышно , вечером работает бар . Все для проживания есть , вся техника работает . Хозяева перед заселением присылают на телефон подробный план заселения и всех мест куда вам надо прокатиться в отпуске. Магазинчики и ресторанчики не далеко . До моря пешком минут 15. Пляж галечный , но лежать на нем комфортно . Море сразу глубина , для детей не очень комфортно, но если плавать умеют то проблем не вижу . Советую сразу брать машину на прокат в аэропорту , Rodos cars , без франшизы , скрытых платежей и ТД . Самый дешёвый магазин Лидл , но он только рядом с Родосом , если поедите из аэропорта , лучше сразу туда заехать и закупиться. В остальных маркетах, на всём острове цены завышены .

Meubilair had iets comfortabeler gemogen en de matrassen waren een beetje doorgelegen maar verder top.

This was our first stay in Southern Dreams, despite coming to Gennadi for several years before, and we are so glad we discovered this gem of a place. Our apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean - with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The sea view through the large patio windows was beautiful. And our hosts, Tsampika and Costas, were lovely people and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we’re so grateful to them 🙏 The grounds are also large and spacious with lovely gardens (fresh lemons from ‘our’ lemon tree on our terrace for delicious G&T sundowners!!), pool area and small bar open at nights. And the location was perfect - just 6 mins walk into the centre. Will definitely come back 🙏😎

Ich habe eine Woche mit meiner Mutter in einem Appartment mit 2 getrennten Schlafzimmern verbracht. Das Apartment ist großzügig aufgeteilt und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Tsampika und ihr Mann sind sehr bemüht, dass es den Gästen gut geht. Auch die Putzfeen sind sehr aufmerksam und fragen ob etwas fehlt. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Baden nach einem Sightseeing-Tag ein. Die Apartments sind ruhig gelegen, man hört keine Straße. Für uns perfekt zum entspannen. Nur 5 min zu Fuß ist ein gut sortierter Supermarkt zu erreichen und mehrere gute Tavernen. Würde ich wieder nach Rhodos kommen, würde ich wieder Southern Dream Apartments buchen. Perfekte Lage wenn man außerhalb der Touristenspots die Ruhe sucht.

Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abends hatten sie sogar die Bar geöffnet, obwohl in der Vorsaison noch längst nicht alle Apartments belegt waren. So konnte man nach dem Abendessen noch einen Cocktail am Pool trinken, was wir sehr genossen haben. Die Apartmentanlage ist genau so schön, wie beschrieben. Dadurch, dass sie ein Stück oberhalb der Straße liegt, ist es wunderbar ruhig und man hat einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Die Restaurants im Ort und am Strand sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir können es nur empfehlen..

Our stay in Rhodes was absolutely wonderful and this apartment made the whole experience even more special. The property itself is beautiful, elegant, spacious, and incredibly well-maintained. One of the highlights was definitely the large swimming pool with pleasantly warm water — perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. In the evenings, the atmosphere became even more magical thanks to the open bar, where you could enjoy truly excellent cocktails in a very cozy setting. What really made this place exceptional, however, were the owners. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for us. They regularly checked in to ask if everything was alright and if we needed anything, which made us feel very comfortable and looked after throughout the entire stay. We also greatly appreciated their flexibility and hospitality. They allowed us to access the apartment before the official check-in time and also let us stay beyond the standard check-out hours. Thanks to that, we could pack calmly without any stress and leave at a time that suited us best — something that made the last day of our holiday so much more enjoyable and relaxing. You can truly feel the warmth and care the owners put into this place. We would happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in Rhodes.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht, schöner Pool und direkte Nähe zum Ortskern mit Bäckerei, Gemüseladen und Supermarkt. Die besten und freundlichsten Gastgeber, sehr gute Kommunikation und sofortige Unterstützung bei jeder Frage. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

The staff made the stay very enjoyable. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The terrace areas were nicely shaded and fairly private. A quiet location with just a five minute walk in to the village .

Nothing much to complain about. Occasionally the water pipes made a noise after flushing the toilet, but really it was nothing.

Ruim en compleet appartement met alles wat wij nodig hadden. Wij reisde met een baby van 7 maanden. Ook voor de baby waren alle voorzieningen aanwezig (bedje, kinderstoel, badje). Zwembad was schoon met fijne ligstoelen. Medewerkers heel vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Auto kan je voor het complex parkeren. Ligging van de appartement was ook prettig namelijk supermarkt, bakker, groentewinkel, apotheek, restaurantjes e.d. op loopafstand. Ook het strand is op 10 minuten lopen.

Wifi was soms onstabiel.

Everything well planed in the apartment. The communication was fast and all response was made in a very helpful manner. The staff on site was kind, extremely service oriented and made you feel like part of the familj.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Besitzer und Hauskeeperin! Die Lage ist perfekt am Ortsrand von Gennadi (5 Minuten zu Fuß zu den Geschäften und Restaurants). Schöner kleiner Pool mit ausreichend Liegen. Die Unterkunft hat große Balkone und Terrassen mit tollem Blick aufs Meer.

Huoneisto oli siisti ja palvelu loistavaa. Uima-allas oli mahtava lisä majoituksessa! Sijainti oli myös loistava. Kaiken kaikkiaan loistava majoitus meidän tarpeisiin.

Allasbaari oli kiinni suurimman osan ajasta emmekä päässeet hyödyntämään sitä. Olisi ollut kiva jos se olisi ollut päivisin auki.

We absolutely love this apartment in the heart of Gennadi – the location couldn’t be better! The owner is incredibly kind and helpful and happy to respond to any questions and eager to fulfill every request we had. The apartment itself is perfectly equipped, with great attention to even the smallest details that made us feel being at home. The cleanliness is outstanding, and the housekeeping staff are not only professional but also unbelievably friendly and warm. This has truly become our favorite place to stay in Rhodes – we gladly recommend it to everyone. We return every year, and we have never been disappointed!

Southern Dreams Apartments Gennadi – a true gem in southern Rhodes! We stayed here as a family for 4 nights in July, and honestly – we didn’t want to leave. Everything was perfect. Our apartment had two small but cozy bedrooms with large wardrobes and super comfortable beds. The living room was spacious, and the kitchen fully equipped – stove, toaster, large fridge, everything you need. Each room had its own air conditioner, and we enjoyed a spacious, breezy terrace in the evenings. The pool area was always clean and well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas – a true haven during hot summer days. There’s also a cute little bar serving cocktails and beer in the evening. What made the stay truly unforgettable was the hospitality of the owners, Tsampika and Kostas, and the lovely cleaning lady. Even before our arrival, Tsampika sent us detailed info about the apartment and nearby attractions. Throughout our stay, they were always kind, helpful, and truly cared about our comfort. The location is perfect – just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Gennadi village with tavernas, bars, a large grocery store, bakery, ice cream, and fresh produce shops, all open from early morning to late evening. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. If we return to Rhodes, we’ll definitely stay here again. 🏝️✨

The owners made the place perfect. Cozy apartment, perfect for a family with children. Short walk to the village center. Our absolute favorite village on the island.

We have stayed before and returned because we had such a great stay. Tsampika and Kostas make the stay easy and will answer/address any queries quickly. The lovely Elvira is a superstar and if you need anything during your stay, will help and sort whatever you need. The location is great for a chilled break and the apartments are well equipped, so if you want to cook full meals, you can with no problem. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer all there. The village is in strolling distance and remains charming, with restaurants and bars, plus a great little supermarket, greengrocer, bakery etc. Parking onsite if you have a car for exploring, beaches few minutes drive, buses nearby for non-drivers, lovely little pool, beds, shady seating - all making for a very comfortable stay.
