L’ambiente è famigliare e questa cosa ci è piaciuta molto. Ottima pulizia..ogni giorno la camera era sempre profumata! Cucina ottima!!!! Il cibo era fantastico e sempre fresco

Reviewed May 8, 2025We had an absolutely amazing experience at By the shade Maldives! The team was incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We booked the snorkeling safari and the nurse shark trip — both were unforgettable adventures. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with a cozy and peaceful atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Maldives in a genuine and welcoming way!

Reviewed Nov 9, 2024The location was excellent and the beach and island was spectacular!!! Host was always there as needed and give us advices and help. We did wonderfull tours/ activities - all organised by local community. All in all highly recommend this place.

The island itself has absolutely no infrastructure. It’s so far away from Male & transfer by boat is rather challenging. We had a hard time to find any place to eat on the island so we had to finish our trip earlier.

Reviewed Feb 6, 2024Amazing staff always available to help and provide an outstanding service. Loved the food served at breakfast, lunch and dinner with Maldivian local food. The room was well furnished complete with air conditioning and a nice view on the courtyard and its beautiful flowers. Good location close to bikini beach and ferry station for your daily trips (we loved the picnic island trip).
