Riad magnifiquement décoré, très authentique avec une déco marocaine soignée (salon traditionnel, lustre, tapis). Emplacement idéal à Meknes, à deux pas du mausolée Moulay Ismail, personel très accueillant et réactif, toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Propreté impeccable et check-in facile

L’emplacement était parfait. Le Riad est joli, assez intimiste comparé à d’autres Riad. Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

La photos sur le site est trompeuse. La piscine est en fait un bassin minuscule. La terrasse où elle se trouve pourrait être mieux aménagée.

Ich hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt im Riad Zidania und kann das Riad empfehlen. Mein Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Besonders schön fand ich den Blick aus meinem Fenster auf die Dächer des Mausoleums von Moulay Ismail. Das Riad selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll im klassischen marokkanischen Stil eingerichtet und hat mir ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war gut, wenn auch recht zuckerhaltig. Das scheint in Marokko aber üblich zu sein und deckt sich mit meinen Erfahrungen in anderen Riads. Auch das Abendessen im Riad war lecker. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich den hervorragenden Service. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat mitgedacht. Mein Koffer wurde beispielsweise die Treppe hinaufgetragen, ohne dass ich darum bitten musste. Chaymae, die sich während meines Aufenthalts um mich gekümmert hat, brachte mir sogar Tee und Kekse auf die sehr schöne Dachterrasse, sodass ich dort entspannt den Sonnenuntergang über Meknes genießen konnte. Für meinen Ausflug von Meknes nach Volubilis und Moulay Idris Zerhoun hat das Riad außerdem einen privaten Fahrer für mich organisiert. Auch die Organisation hat problemlos funktioniert. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Riad mit viel Atmosphäre, gutem Essen und vor allem einem ausgesprochen aufmerksamen Service. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Nuestra habitación, sin luz natural y solo una ventanita, comunicaba directamente con el comedor del hotel donde se desayunaba.

La habitación y la amabilidad del personal. El desayuno era muy bueno y había bastante cantidad.

Pequeño detalle: La piscina era muy pequeña, pero ya se veía en las fotos (No nos podemos quejar porque por lo menos había una piscina)

Le Riad est facile d'accès. Il est très propre avec un personnel très pro et serviable. La chambre a une grande SDB , avec une climatisation silencieuse et efficace. Beau petit bassin pour se tremper sur le toit de la terrasse et chaises longues pour se détendre. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et grandiose. C'est mon coup de coeur, bravo !

Nous nous attendions à une piscine plus grande. La photo booking est prise d'un point de vue qui fait qu'elle paraît plus grande que ce qu'elle n'est. Mais cela est finalement resté un détail compte tenu du très bon séjour que nous avons passé.

Sehr schön eingerichteter Riad, direkt neben dem Mausoleum. Hatten dort (leider) nur Frühstück, was fantastisch war. Abendessen wird ebenfalls angeboten. Die Dachterrasse am Pool war herrlich und das Personal wirklich nett.

Eigentlich war alles unglaublich schön. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre, dass die gebuchte Suite nicht viel größer war, als ein normales Zimmer.

Le riad est très bien situé par rapport aux centre d'intérêts principaux, on peut faire énormément de choses à pied. Le personnel est très serviable est d'une gentillesse remarquable, parle français. Les petits déjeuners sont exceptionnels Le riad est magnifique

Close to the Medina. Clean.

No elevator. Several minutes walk from nearest road access. Loud day-time construction work outside (should be over soon). Loud evening music from nearby nightclub (seems more permanent). Thin walls; noise all night from neighbours and street cats.

The staff was outstanding, even for Morocco (where everyone is friendly). We arrived by car, which was no problem at all. You park at the prison and walk 2 mins. You have to knock or ring to get in - every time. You do not get a key for the main door. We had two rooms on the first floor, next to each other, and pretty secluded. That was perfect for us a a family sharing two rooms. Breakfast was good and a lot! Freshly squeezed orange juice. Location was nice. A very short walk to the medina. The pool on the rooftop was very welcome - even though it was not very large.

The Riad was one of the more expensive places we stayed at in Morocco. According to this standards, the maintenance could have been a bit better.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. You can see the attention to detail throughout the entire property, which makes the accommodation feel very special and well cared for. The place itself is beautiful, comfortable, and full of charm. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

Great location, friendly staff, really nice breakfasts, nice rooftop plunge pool with great views. Meknes is superb. No hassle when you walk around the Medina and few tourists.

The suite/room was not as big as made out to be in the pictures, but still OK for a short stay.

Très bon petit déjeuner et dîner. L’hôtel a également organisé notre visite à Volubilis et le transfert à la gare, tout s’est très bien passé.

Kleine Oase am Rande der Medina. Normalerweise bevorzuge ich Hotels gegenüber Riads (da oft eng, dunkel oder feucht), aber hier überzeugten schon die Bilder und die Situation vor Ort traf dann auch die Erwartungen. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, hell und freundlich, schöne Dachterrasse und Innenhöfe zum sich Aufhalten. Sehr nettes Personal, insb. die Dame, die mich empfing und verabschiedete. Auf Voranmeldung wird auch Abendessen gekocht.

Fenster nach außen lassen sich mit Läden verdunkeln, aber bei kleinem Fenster zum Innenhof mit Lampe fehlt Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit. Badzimmertür ließ sich nicht ganz schließen.

La disponibilité à l accueil pour noux expliquer les visites, les repas sur place. Ne pas hésiter à prendre 1 ou 2 nuits ici pour visiter Fes.

Manque d’intimité entre le patio (ouvert à tous) et la porte fenetre de la chambre qui donne dessus. Il faudrait un rideau.

Nous avons eu un litige en ce qui concerne le montant des dîners : nous voulions la formule du soir (intéressante) mais le garçon nous a compté les plats individuellement et donc un montant plus élevé. Nous l'avons fait remarquer à la femme manager qui a compris l'erreur mais qui n'a pas voulu changer le montant !!!!!!!!!! Dommage ! Il faut donc que cela soit mieux formulé pour que ce ne soit pas ambigu.

Beautiful establishment at a very nice location. Nice rooftop with a small jacuzzi and great view over the city. Service was very unpredictable: sometimes it was top, excellent and sometimes very poor depending on the moment

It is advertising on booking that there is a swimming pool while this is not the case; so you cannot go there to swim. It is in fact a small jacuzzi. We booked 2 junior suites; one was very large, the other much smaller so we asked to have similar rooms. After 2 days we received a nice suite to compensate for the small room. Communication amongst the personnel was suboptimal which led to confusion; eg. regarding dinner arrangements. This is unfortunate also seen this accommodation is more expensive than the average

bathroom was not cleaned well. Breakfast pretty poor.

Belle découverte avec ce riad. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le surclassement car la chambre qui nous a été attribuée était vraiment spacieuse et paisible. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour vous faire passer un agréable séjour. C'est en vivant ce genre d'expérience avec l'équipe du Zidania qu'on réalise que l'hospitalité est vraiment une qualité qui n'est pas donné à tous.

J'ai écrit plusieurs fois au responsable de l'établissement en amont de mon séjour pour demander des informations afin de planifier mon séjour (resto incoutournables, perles cachées...) mais mes demandes sont restées vaines.

Das Riad ist landestypisch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben 4 Abende dort sehr gut gegessen. Fatima und Sineb sind tolle Köchinnen. Die Lage ist perfekt.

Die Dachterasse könnte noch etwas gemütlicher eingerichtet werden.

L'organisation n'est pas au top, surtout pour le petit déjeuner. Elle gagnerait à être améliorée, peut-être avec un buffet, même partiel, où les guests pourraient se servir au moins du café, sans attendre que la seule personne qui fait le service soit disponible et pense à les servir ou les re-servir... Petit problème également avec la plomberie dans la chambre.

La ubicación, fuera de la Medina, es buenísima, porque te permite llegar en coche casi hasta la puerta. Luego a 3 min entras en la Medina. El sitio en nuevo y el equipo super agradable y servicial.

Por poner un pero, justo nuestra habitación estaba debajo de la piscina de la cubierta y creo que había algún tipo de fuga. Porque había muchísima humedad en nuestra habitación y no en el resto del hotel.

The staff is great, and the receptionist Sofia [I hope I wrote it right] was amazing, professional and kind. Same applies to all the other staff, ladies and guy included. Rooms were cleaned and welcoming, the bed, matresses and pillows were comfy. Breakfast is delicious and if you want to order your dinner....the cocker is amazing too. The cooker must be fantastic. I had the best lamb tagine ever with a delicious sauce as a side. The riad is very cozy and traditional at the same time. Kindness and professionalist their quality. I recommend it if you have to travel to Meknes

The front door was locked so always had to knock to be let in. Very low water pressure and only warm water. Also difficult to find.

Bellissimo Riad rinnovato in stile tradizionale. La stanza era molto accogliente. Bellissimo bagno moderno. Ottima colazione con prodotti tipici servita a tavola . Abbiamo cenato molto bene in una stanza molto suggestiva con prodotti freschi su ordinazione.

Il riscaldamento nel bagno è risultato insufficiente il primo giorno .Ma il problema è stato prontamente risolto portando una adeguata stufetta elettrica.

Here’s the adjusted version with a softer ending: ⸻ We arrived by car, and the directions provided by the Riad staff beforehand were excellent. They made parking and finding the Riad very easy and completely stress-free. This is a lovely Riad in a great location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a large bathroom and a great shower. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was tasty and generous — a really nice way to start the day. We would consider staying here again in the future.

You are unable to drive up to the front door of this riad and (disappointingly) the hotel offers no assistance to transport your bags from the car park to the riad, which is approximately 150m. The property does not have a lift and the hotel staff did not offer any assistance to transfer our bags to the third floor room. All the shutters in our room were closed upon arrival. When we opened them, we discovered we overlooking the cemetery. Finally, upon check out, we were charged for an additional night. When we asked to speak to the manager, suddenly none of the staff were able to speak English. Finally we were advised that a manager would call us but unfortunately he wasn't available at that moment. Needless to stay, the manager never called us and we never received a refund for the additional night.
