Top floor rooms with Terrance are nice but the spiral staircase to get up to the room is not easy to navigate. Rooms nice but bathrooms a bit dated and shower above bath narrow.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Het is een mooi hotel super gelegen aan de blvd. Met een goed werkende airco. S'avonds in het hotel gegeten en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Hadden een kamer geboekt met uitzicht op de blvd was prachtig. Er is een eigen parkeergarage onder het hotel met ruime plaatsen. Als je een plekje hebt geboekt krijg je een code in ons geval van 6 cijfers. Je hoeft niet eerst naar de balie te gaan dus gelijk naar de garage die een paar meter verder op is. Het is even verwarrend als je net voorbij het hotel bent moet je rechtsaf maar daar staat een bord dat je er niet in mag rijden wel doen dus en dan zie het paaltje waar je je code op in moet toetsen.
Op zich een nette kamer maar de vloer was niet schoon. Matras een beetje hobbelig.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Melia Maria Pita has a perfect location - next to Playa del Orzan and some 10 min walk to the historic centre. Our duplex suite was spacious, airy and full of natural light. The views were amazing. Also the choice of food at breakfast is broad and diverse.
1. There's no ramp leading to the reception - you either need to lug your suitcases up the stairs or accidentally discoover a side entrance with the lift which is unsigned. 2. The number of parking spaces are insufficient and they can't be reserved for whatever strange reason. We had to park in a public garage 10 min walk from the hotel. 3. Outdoor terrace in our suite wasn't cleaned properly.

The room was a good size with an enormous super comfortable bed. There was a nice bar and terrace area. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options.
Shower over the bath, and the taps were right underneath the shower head and very low down.

We didn’t know that you had to book a spot in advance if you wanted to use their onsite parking. Had to park in public parking the first night which was inconvenient but hotel was able to accommodate us the following nights. Housekeeping could be more thorough.

Attenzione a quando prenotate, su Booking (almeno al momento della mia prenotazione su mobile) veniva indicata, per tutta la struttura, "colazione inclusa", ma non è vero, e alle mie rimostranze mi sono sentito rispondere che "incluso" voleva dire disponibile (?), il che è una bella notizia per un 4 stelle, ma direi un tantino ingannevole. La struttura è bella ma non vale certo le 4 stelle, non ci sono i set di cortesia, l'accappatoio, ecc. Peccato, perchè la posizione è veramente superlativa.

The location is excellent as it is right on the beach, and walking distance from the main attractions such as the shopping districts, old town, museums and the Torre de Hércules.

Contratamos el régimen de media pensión y nos ha parecido que no hay ningún tipo de variedad. Se trata de una carta cerrada y cada día se ofrece lo mismo, tanto a la hora de la comida como de la cena. Por ello, cuando la estancia es algo más larga, las comidas terminan resultando muy repetitivas. Quizá estaría bien que la oferta gastronómica variara cada uno o dos días, por ejemplo, ofreciendo diferentes temáticas o tipos de cocina: gallega, italiana, americana, etc. Otra cuestión que, desde mi punto de vista, ha sido un fallo es haber pintado las cajoneras de los armarios. Debido a la pintura, los cajones se pegan y resulta difícil abrirlos, ya que se atascan. Además, que los armarios se cierren mediante una cortina tampoco nos parece propio de un hotel de 4 estrellas.

Breakfast was poor as cooked food was left out & left to go cold , luke warm at best unfortunately & coffee from machine was terrible , no combination we tried worked ! Also was so happy with maid as she kept us topped up with bottles of water throughout our stay , only to be charged for it on check out ... as we never asked for it we thought that was a bit much ... we also left 10 euro for maid services as i thought she was being nice giving us 2 small fresh bottles of water every day !

Gym was pretty bad. Not sure why they didn’t have more weights (3 dumbbells!) there was aplenty of space. There is a club gym literally attached to same building but they didn’t have deals or passes or whatever.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026L’hotel è semplicemente meraviglioso. Dotata di parcheggio sotterraneo privato dove abbiamo lasciato la moto tranquillamente. La nostra camera dava direttamente sulla baia con un tramonto meraviglioso ma la camera ben insonorizzata. Colazione intercontinentale molto vasta e molto buona. Sicuramente da ritornare per godersi lo splendore di questa città.

Humedades en el techo de la habitacion, las puertas a penas aislan el ruido, se podia escuchar a la gente ebtrar y salir y a la limpieza.

W pokoju było słychać odgłosy z korytarza. Drzwi pokojów zamykały się dość ciężko, przez co wielu gości nimi trzaskało.

Rooms small. A bit of a treck up from the centre. No slippers and extras in the bathroom, eg shower caps etc. need to ask for any toothpaste etc. For a 4 star not acceptable

Nos hicieron esperar mucho tiempo para hacer el check in a pesar de que solo había una pareja delante nuestra en la recepción. No tenían reservado aparcamiento a pesar de haberlo solicitado y comunicado que habían accedido a mis peticiones y la habitación era justa de espacio.

El sistema para colocar las toallas en el baño no nos convenció nada. Engorroso. No hay aseos junto al bufet-restaurante. Solo hay un aseo para minusválidos y siempre que te querías ir a lavar las manos estaba ocupado.

Decidí mi hospedaje porque tenían parking privado y cuando llegué me dijeron que estaban cubiertos y tuve que dejar mi automóvil a 600 metros, esto no me gustó

-Man konnte nicht ausschlafen weil es im Gang morgens so laut war als das Reinigungspersonal ihre Arbeit startete. Jedes Gespräch und jeder Schritt war hörbar und die Türen die zugemacht werden sind viel zu laut. -Das Duschwasser hat gestunken und der Strahl war nicht stark genug. -Die Minibar war etwas mager.
